Paul Klee: man of mystery, joy, and revolution

Paul Klee: man of mystery, joy, and revolution

“God forbid people should learn anything from artists. Entangled confusions might dissolve. Synthetic ambitions might disappear along with entire histories. An old life gone, a new one begun. Hurricanes of inspiration might shear columns of rigid ideals, and the original dawn that gave rise to those ideals might emerge again, above the open road…” (The Magician Awakes, Jon Rappoport)

Paul Klee was one of those spirits who transmuted everything he came in contact with—effortlessly. It was in his bones, his blood, his heart, his mind, his psyche: the act of transformation.

The poet e.e. cummings once wrote, “There’s a hell of a good universe next door, let’s go.” Klee went, every day of his life. And he was not committed to one particular alternative. He invented them by the truckload. This, as opposed to organized religions, each of which invents ONE cosmic mural and tries to back people into a corner with it.

Klee never focused on developing a trademark style. He saw One Style as a limiter, a defection from the real joy of painting. He was a man who had many desires, recognized that fact, and painted all of them.

He exudes the sense of: “Give me a small room, a pad of paper, a few colors and brushes, and close the door behind you.”

Almost everything he did was by way of improvisation.

Critics downplay this last fact, because for them it amounts to cheating: spontaneity is only permitted when there are many signs and stories of struggle. Klee avoided becoming enmeshed in struggle by working on a number of paintings at once. When he was finished for the moment with one, he moved to another, and so on, and kept revisiting the incomplete works and adding to them until he was satisfied.

Klee was what I would call a sane man. He knew how to begin, he knew how to end. He knew that the next painting was more important than the last. He didn’t need self-pity, and he didn’t care for outlandish praise.

He wasn’t trying to be recognized for certain traits. He had found gold, and he kept mining it. He realized that imagination is an infinitely forked river, and he needed no propulsive agenda to drive him forward. One, two, three strokes on a blank canvas and he was able to invent what could come next. “Could” was never “should” or “must.” It was all open, his spaces.

He was not trying to solve a problem. Nor, as some have said, was he asking questions in his paintings.

Each small painting was a world unto itself.

He never titled a painting until it was finished. Then he looked at it and thought up a name, which was sometimes laid on as a description, and sometimes given as a statement about what the picture was not.

Even Picasso, who reserved praise for his own fabulous self as a matter of principle, once visited Klee in his studio and acknowledged the brilliance of another man. Through clenched teeth, no doubt.

For Klee, the blank canvas signaled the delicious unknown. He was very comfortably nowhere at that moment, and then as he painted, he was in a successive series of somewheres.

Kandinsky and Klee mark a point of demarcation for painting. It was not enough to alter the so-called real world. You could actually create a new world in every picture. A different new world. There were as many as you wanted to dream up.

Klee did not give credence to having a finished idea in his mind before starting a work. He was not transferring a picture in his mind to the canvas. He was inventing/discovering as he went along. In this, he was happy.

He could be very precise, and he could be imprecise. A world does not have to be precise.

Exit From the Matrix

Some say his work was too easy. It was too celebrative. It didn’t present some final vision. It lacked maturity. The emotions were too simple.

All these judgments are off the mark. They represent estimates of what Klee was not. What he was, was marvelously direct. Is Mars too red? Is Mercury too hot?

Do androids dream, as Phil Dick asked, of electric sheep? Do ants dream of balloons? Why not? And if so, why not paint that?

Paul Klee. 1879-1940. There is a little (out-of-print) book titled Klee, with a long, fascinating essay by Marcel Marnat. Publisher: Leon Amiel (1974). Many plates.

Several paintings I recommend: The Red Fish (1925); Head with Blue Tones (1933); 17IRR (1923).

I believe Klee was saying this: Here are several thousand worlds I just invented. Approach them with a free mind and heart. Glance at them from several different angles. Jump into their liquids, stand on their flat surfaces, lean from their precarious platforms. Serve them to yourself as appetizers or main courses. Let them pass through your digestive tract. Make faces to match their faces. Remove their masks; then you may find deeper shades or you may find nothing. Ponder how you invest your imagination in mine, and go away with a spark of self-recognition, recognition of what you have, what you can do, what you can invent. Our whole planet is a mask, and we can take great delight in dreaming up new spaces and times.

The Coming Revolution

The Coming Revolution

by Jon Rappoport

NoMoreFakeNews.com

“Down through history, people have been oh so sure the gods they were inventing were real. And they talk about excessive pride when others elevate the potential of humans. I’m afraid not. The hubris is with the god-inventors. They’re the ones who take art and turn it into something weirder than weird. They’re the ones who claim they have infallible knowledge. They’re the ones who know God so well they can say what his rules are. They’re the ones who try to envelop the whole world in their proclamations. And they’re the one who claim they don’t understand imagination, when in fact they’re trying to bludgeon humankind with it, with their foreshortened version of it.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)

The revolution isn’t visible yet, but it’s coming, it’s emerging, and there is no way to stop it.

Civilization is organization. In its advanced stages, it’s super-organization.

Planners and analysts and major profit makers and manipulators are devoted to systems, which require populations to confirm those systems by fitting into them.

Devise a plan with a few billion slots, and those slots ask for occupants.

The occupants must comply. What was once voluntary becomes mandatory. It’s the way of top-down organization.

This is the madness that drives late-stage civilization.

People, left alone, aren’t androids or robots, but in case you hadn’t noticed, people are not being left alone. They are being shaped and tailored to conform to operating schemes and blueprints.

“There is nothing important about you except your ability to reconfigure yourselves, in order to operate as elements of a system, designated pieces of a structure.”

“Your impulses, your brains are off-key. They require tuning. It must happen. The patterns of the plan demand it.”

This is the stage play. This is the precondition for the revolution.

The revolution is the escape.

I’m not talking about the chaos, the violence, or some new brand of opportunism. Nor am I talking about “beneficent deliverance” dished out by the universe.

Behind all that is a much larger wave that is building. It could take a very long time for the wave to become conscious of itself.

And that consciousness does not function like some contagious germ. It comes out of hiding for individuals, by individuals.

Super-organization of life will fracture, and that fracture will come about through the resurrection of spontaneous thought, invention, and action. Because the one quality that has been buried in thousands of systems is spontaneity.

I’m not talking about aimless thrashing about. I’m talking about what happens to structures and edifices of consciousness when spontaneity and improvisation come to the foreground, when the natural replaces the synthetic.

This process is already underway, because Life wants to live. It doesn’t want to become a machine. It accepts being a machine for only so long, and then it revolts.

What will emerge is the artist, along all avenues.

This is not yet another form of passive “miracle.” This is individuals, more and more of them, throwing off the frozen and universally accepted expectations and habits of organization.

In short, the future will not look like the present. It will be radically different. It will be open, not unified.

Those who ask When this future will come, those who hope for Soon, who demand Now, or who deny that any root revolution can happen are simply wishing for deliverance independent of their own actions, their own struggle, their own involvement.

We are all artists, whether we like it or not. Each one of us. And not as some fictitious group. Each one of us has his own studio. It can remain closed, dark, and empty, or it can come alive.

Nothing gives us “permission” to invent, create, imagine, improvise. This is not about “deserving” anything. This isn’t about “rights”.

The revolution does not produce One Collective Mind. What the world will look like after the revolution has proceeded with velocity is entirely unpredictable, because it will not look like One Thing.

It will not demonstrate yet another simplistic version of harmony and symmetry. If that were the case, we would see the rise of another era of organization and perfectible slavery.

The entire purpose of operant conditioning and mind control is planting seeds that will cause an individual to accept the substitution of one system for another.

The success of this deception explains the rise and fall and rise of similarly built civilizations, one after another.

But through the course of that history, because artists have made their case, a consciousness has gradually arisen that rejects all overall plans, all final structures, all pre-set systems.

Artists have also exposed the method of projecting gods who then rule us; exposed it as an act of freezing imagination and art in mid-course.

“This is a brilliant poem. Let’s cut it off right here and form a religion around it and organize the churches…”

Exit From the Matrix

So now there is an opening. The wave of the revolution is free imagination, and artists who know they are creating, instead of imprisoning themselves and everyone else in their creations.

This revolution is not organized. It never will be. But it will eventually supersede all other revolts.

None of this, of course, prevents people from remaining asleep in whatever kind of sleep they prefer.

And in case there is any misunderstanding, the revolution is not a subconscious process by which we all strive toward making “one grand painting” we share together.

That is the sloganeering of all civilizations (organizations) that fail.

Another failure: the walled-off isolation people feel inside those great organizations. People will connect, in ways they can only dream of now.

One creator to another.

Spontaneously.

The passive android and the creative force

The passive android and the creative force

by Jon Rappoport

March 9, 2015

NoMoreFakeNews.com

Asymmetric warfare in the arena of the mind is the only way to get out of the hatchery where androids are cultivated and made. You attack the stasis, the rest points, the places where the machinery of the mind is absolutely sure things are what they’re made out to be. You come at those skyscrapers from all sorts of unconventional angles.

That’s what the surrealists did. They interrupted the eternal Hum of the skyscrapers of the mind. They were crazy, but they were heroes.

Most people don’t want to know about these things. They want to accept what’s handed to them, or they want to poke holes in the consensus, but they don’t want to invent something entirely different. No, that’s too much. The preacher or the scientist or the educator or the doctor might not like that. God might not like that. The universe might be offended. There are all sorts of figureheads who might be offended. These figureheads represent fundamentalisms. Reduced-down views of the world. Stupidly simple. Hypnotically simple. That’s how the game works.

You convince people that anything important is terribly simple. You keep boiling the soup and boiling the soup down until it’s almost nothing, and then you point to it and say, “There, you see? That’s what it’s all about. That’s all it is.” That’s what hypnotism is. The boiling down. The reduction. The old man in the sky sitting in a big chair combing his beard—and his cousin, the guy who wouldn’t agree and who was therefore suddenly the embodiment of evil. You boil it all down to that.

Then you hand that story to someone who’s there at the circus watching the elephants and the almost-naked beautiful lady standing on the elephant’s back and dreaming he could meet that lady somewhere quiet and, for once, experience pleasure in his blood. But that will never happen, because he’s got the story now, the good and the evil, the reduction, and he’s a goner. He’s an android in the garden of delights, shut out, waiting for the sun to go down, waiting for the dark curtain.

There are hundreds of ways to turn humans into android-like creatures. Humans will do it to themselves without any outside help. They’ll induce their own trance at the drop of a hat…while still remaining quite active, quite normal, quite average.

You can drag an android to water, but you can’t make him drink. And that’s the whole point. He won’t invent something. He won’t jump into his own imagination and invent something. He’ll just stare at the water and notice the pretty little reflections, including his own, and he’ll hang around hoping for something important to happen.

Mechanical thought is the big feature of the android mind. The connections may be sophisticated, but they’re quiescent. Pieces are hooked up to other pieces of ideas, but with no creative ambition or force involved.

Take a chance? Not on your life.

No dice.

This, by the way, is how freedom dies. It just sits there and becomes a hard old stone, because a person won’t move and fly off that platform to invent something quite, quite different and new.

And all the while he’s shouting about how he wants his freedom. But he doesn’t want it. He wants the stone and the shadow in the hard dirt. He wants some kind of weird zero that’s reduced even further down to an absolute zero. That’s the subconscious of the android.

The Matrix Revealed

DARPA, the tech and mind-control arm of the Pentagon, is now embarked on yet another new project: how to insert images directly into the brain. No chips, no implants, no holograms sitting in space. That’s old hat.

Instead, beam signals directly into the visual cortex.

Of course, a lot of this is sheer PR science-hype, geared to get their hands on government cash for contracts. But it does show you where they want to go.

And human androids are the perfect target, because they’ll buy any image, as long they’re not creating it. Doesn’t matter where it comes from: the television set, the computer screen, the newspaper. They’ll take it in and eat it for lunch.

Theoretically, you could eventually outfit one of these passive good citizens with a complete wall-to-wall series of pictures—a movie—that would constitute his daily experience.

Riots in the streets, bombings, lootings, but all he’s seeing are rainbow gardens and cotton-candy machines and pink balloons and naked virgins.

“My brother Bobby called me again today and warned me that I’ve been sitting on my couch for six months, but he’s crazy. I’ve been living at Disney World, seeing the sights, riding the rides.”

He even has an adoring wife and two well-behaved children. They sprang up out of nowhere one day. He thought he was a loner living on the fringe of the city, but it turns out he’s a responsible family man.

Food stamps, welfare, disability. It’s a wonderful life.

Mickey Mouse is the President of the United States, Donald Duck is the Vice-President, and Goofy is the head of Homeland Security. The people have spoken. What more could they want?

Now: The Century of Imagination

Now: The Century of Imagination

by Jon Rappoport

March 9, 2015

NoMoreFakeNews.com

OutsideTheRealityMachine

The superhighway of history tells a story of the unshackling of imagination.

By the second half the 20th century, it became clear to many people that imagination had become unhooked from ideologies, metaphysical clap-trap, the pretensions of psychology, and the juvenile materialistic philosophy coming out of science.

Finally, after centuries of work, imagination stood alone for all to see.

But few were ready to look.

Instead, they dove back into a jungle of spiritual symbology. They dove into a hodge-podge of resurrected ethnicity. They grasped at “revivals” of ancient cosmologies. They embraced futile and destructive fundamentalisms.

Nevertheless, IMAGINATION HAD EMERGED AS THE NORTH STAR.

It was apparent that many metaphysical meanderings which had occurred since the dawn of time were CREATIONS OF IMAGINATION, pure and simple.

So why not admit it?

Why not confess that imagination is there for the individual? Infinitely.

Well, people were still obsessed with wrapping the individual in various disguises: “the individual is just one atom in the super-atom of cosmic ding-dong.”

These disguises are like recreational drugs. A thing to imbibe, a lot to talk about.

There it was, imagination, the exposed gold centerpiece of alchemy. Finally. And people said, “Let’s go back to lead.”

But…no matter. Because the mystery is out in the open.

For those who can see it.

They will discover that every longing pointing to cosmos, illumination, enlightenment, transcendence is answered and fulfilled through imagination deployed.

This is a true spiritual tradition of planet Earth. It has been buried, repressed, sidetracked, and misidentified—but now here it is.

In a very real sense, it was always the goal. It was always the thing to be distilled out of the dross of history—and out of the rambling life of an individual.

Exit From the Matrix

When I was 20, I finished studying the history of Western philosophy in college. All the answers I’d been seeking were still missing. I approached one of my professors and said, “Suppose all of this, everything the philosophers have proposed, was created? Created by them?”

Like works of art, I meant.

The professor stared at me, and then shook his head.

“No,” he said.

That was my first inkling that I should have been studying the history of imagination, rather than philosophy.

It was only when my publisher, Bonnie Lange, gave me the green light to write The Secret Behind Secret Societies (*), that I realized I would have a chance to explore this whole area.

(*) (The Secret Behind Secret Societies is included as a bonus in my collection, Exit From The Matrix)

The first part of my work was to strip imagination of useless and distracting accoutrement. The second part of my work is to show people its scope and range and power, and what can happen when you use it intensely, without limits.

And that’s what I’ve been doing for the past 14 years, and what I continue to do, come hell or high water.

It comes under the heading of revealing the obvious… and it also pays homage to untold numbers of artists on this planet who have carried the torch, since the first cave man scratched the first drawing on the wall of a cave and declared: reality is not enough; I make reality.

That’s the secret. It was, then, and it is, now, for those of us willing to know it.

“We live in an era where the rulers fight to control what you believe, using technology that would have made Goebbels drool. We live in an era where independent thought is now a radical act in itself.” –Duncan Roads, NEXUS Magazine, 2014

Duncan Roads has created a new online venture: the Alternative News Project. I encourage you to check it out.

Here is Duncan in his own words…

What I said in 2014 is the reason why I have now created the Alternative News Project (ANP) (twitter). It’s not as a device to fight the current mainstream-manufactured reality, but instead it’s a vehicle for like-minded, independent thinkers to come together in a sharing of knowledge and viewpoints.

From my travels, I see a growing realisation across our societies of an ever increasing disconnect between the mainstream media and what is really going on in the world. As a result, there is a need for a global point of contact to serve all of us who are seeking truth and transparency of information, which no longer comes from either our elected governments, or the media.

The Alternative News Project provides independent thinkers around the world the ability to send and receive alternative news and information from anywhere across the globe.

I have called it a project, as it is not just about information, but the building of a global community through the distribution of that information, which will bring us together in a common purpose.

Instead of endless searches on the ‘net, ANP will bring you the news, every day, right across the spectrum of hundreds of non-mainstream news topics from health to geopolitics, ancient mysteries to self-sufficiency and from science to spirituality.

However, the real key to this project is each of you, because by receiving information you can inform others and by you contributing your knowledge to us, we can broaden our scope of services around the globe. As such, the ANP is designed to be a community based interactive news and information project by the people for the people.

Welcome to the ANP and the adventure to which you are all invited.

–Duncan Roads

First principle of mind control: the invisible

First principle of mind control: the invisible

by Jon Rappoport

March 7, 2015

NoMoreFakeNews.com

This article is a prelude to my collection, Exit From The Matrix. I invite you to read about the unique contents of the collection here.

Okay.

There are certain obvious facts about mind control that are not emphasized.

Controlling the mind…what does that entail? What does it really mean?

For one thing, it means limiting the capacity of the mind, so that it remains unaware of certain vital things.

“Remains unaware”=“blocked off from.”

A person who is blocked off from certain truths ABOUT HIMSELF will remain unaware of those truths.

And most importantly, he will deny that he is blocked off. Of course. What else would you expect?

“I’m not blocked off from anything. That’s ridiculous. I know about myself.”

If a person has been subjected to mind control, by external programming, or ultimately by programming he himself has installed, he will naturally claim he’s not under mind control.

The most important form of mind control limits the innate POTENTIAL OF A PERSON, LIMITS HIS CAPACITIES, LIMITS HIS PERCEPTION, LIMITS HIS POWER.

That’s what mind control is all about, at the core.

But…that person won’t perceive that his innate power has been limited. He won’t consciously know it. He’ll deny it.

THAT’S WHY IT’S CALLED MIND CONTROL.

In the abstract, let’s say that a person has a certain kind of power; we’ll call it X.

But he’s blocked off from realizing that fact.

If you begin talking to him about that power X, his response will be:

“Well, maybe some people have that power, but I don’t.”

Or: “Nobody has that X power. It doesn’t exist. It’s a fantasy.”

Or: “Who cares about that X power? Why would anybody want it? I’m happy with what I have.”

These are all forms of denial.

As an exaggerated example, let’s say that, out of a population of 10 billion people, only 100,000 are using both hands. Everybody else is using only their right hands.

You talk to one of these right-hand-only people about “the left hand,” and he says: “Well, maybe a few people have the talent to use their left hands, but I don’t. Hell, using the left hand is probably just a fantasy. Nobody can do it. And anyway, why should anyone want to use his left hand? What good would that be? I get along fine using my right hand…”

Mind control. Unaware. Blocked off.

That person doesn’t see his own limitation. The limitation is invisible to him.

He might say, “Well, when I was a child, I can remember a few times when I used my left hand. It was a fantastic feeling. But after I turned sixteen, I couldn’t use my left hand anymore. It’s something for kids. It goes away. Then you have to learn reality. You’re only going to use your right hand. Get used to it. That’s life. That’s what growing up means. That’s what adulthood means. No more fantasies. No more nostalgia…”

Where do these “right-hand-only” people come from?

They come from every corner and stratum of life. Some use religion, some use economics, some use their own artificial sense of deprivation, some even use science to bolster their “right-hand-only” idea.

Something in them is lurking below the surface:

They don’t want anyone to stand out from the “right-hand-only” group, the mass, the swamp, the collective. Because the presence of someone who is separate could trigger alarm bells:

An individual with power and his own singular creative vision can exist—he is “using-both-hands.”

These collectivists want you to believe you’re just a drop of water in the great ocean, and you’re like everyone else.

Membership in their club is free. At first. Then you have to surrender everything you have, everything you are, everything you could be.

In their ritual of joining, people are presented a sword on which is inscribed: “I’m good because other people think so.”

The collectivists of this world carry water for their masters, who in turn find bigger and better manipulators to serve. It’s a cacophony of madness, envy, and immolation posing as success.

Exit From the Matrix

Creative power is what I’m talking about here. Imagination and creative power. Those are the “both-hands” people. They invent, they don’t parrot.

In their world, one person doesn’t live in the shadow of another. The creator finds his own way.

We are supposed to think limitation by committee is a viable concept. This is a surpassing fairy tale that assumes the proportions of a cosmic joke.

What are the limits of individual creative power?

The Matrix is every form and fashion and venue and person that tries to limit creative power.

Whereas the free individual with power can and does exceed those limits.

The free individual with creative power knows what the individual is, as distinct from the group, and how distinct from the group the individual can actually become.

Not as a cold lifeless being, but as a dynamic powerhouse pursuing his creative goals.

The truth, if we could see it that way, is that such individuals gain a new relationship to the world. They bring energy to it, they bring innovative ideas and inventions and new startling kinds of beauty. Not because they are in thrall to humanity, not because they feel compelled to serve.

And what they create spills over its borders and ignites the imaginations of those ready and able to respond.

There is no ceiling on creative power.

No ceiling.

Exiting the Matrix is all about imagination, and creative power.

The power to invent new realities.

New futures.

Some people know they have that power and are using it every day. Other people have had glimpses of it in themselves. And others deny it and claim they don’t even understand what it means.

“Imagination? Creative power? Maybe a few people have it. Hell, it’s probably just a fantasy. It doesn’t really exist. And what difference does it make? I don’t need those things. I’m doing fine. I know what I am. I’m not unaware. I’m not blocked off…”

The Starfield revelation: medically caused death in America

by Jon Rappoport

March 6, 2015

(To join our email list, click here.)

My 2009 interview with Dr. Barbara Starfield, a year and a half before she died, focused on her stunning exposure of medically caused death in America.

Starfield was a revered public health expert at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. Her July 26, 2000, review, “Is US health really the best in the world?”, was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

The Starfield paper can be downloaded freely (as a .pdf) from here (via www.drug-education.info). The paper is fully cited as Starfield B. Is US health really the best in the world?. JAMA. 2000; 284(4):483-4. Dr. Barbara Starfield’s wiki page is here.

In other words, this was a mainstream report. There was every reason for it to cause a firestorm in the press, and in the halls of government.

But that’s not what happened.

After a flurry of press stories, intentional amnesia set in.

If you’re looking for evidence that institutionalized American medicine doesn’t care about killing people, here it is.

Medical societies don’t care, most doctors don’t care, medical schools don’t care, public-health agencies don’t care, Congress doesn’t care, the Department of Justice doesn’t care, Presidents don’t care, drug companies don’t care, insurance companies don’t care.

As for major media and medical reporters, they intentionally hide this story and its implications every day of every year.

When people with the power to do something about medically caused death—and I’m talking about huge numbers of victims—know what’s going on and ignore it…what do you call that? Depraved indifference? Negligent homicide?

I call it murder.

Mass murder.

Barack Obama and his allies have done everything they can to bring more people into the US medical system. Changing that system has never occurred to these politicians.

Like much of America, they accept the cliches and slogans about American medicine. “It’s the best in the world.” “People are being denied treatment.” “We must take care of our citizens.”

How about this far more accurate slogan: “Let’s force more Americans to die in the care of doctors.”

The American healthcare system, like clockwork, causes a mind-boggling number of deaths every year.

On July 26, 2000, the US medical community received a titanic shock, when one of its most respected public-health experts, Dr. Barbara Starfield, revealed her findings on healthcare in America. Starfield was associated with the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.

The Starfield study, “Is US health really the best in the world?”, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, came to the following conclusions:

Every year in the US there are:

* 12,000 deaths from unnecessary surgeries;

* 7,000 deaths from medication errors in hospitals;

* 20,000 deaths from other errors in hospitals;

* 80,000 deaths from infections acquired in hospitals;

* 106,000 deaths from FDA-approved correctly prescribed medicines.

The total of medically-caused deaths in the US every year is 225,000.

That’s 2.25 MILLION deaths per decade.

This makes the medical system the third leading cause of death in the US, behind heart disease and cancer.

The Starfield study is the most disturbing revelation about modern healthcare in America ever published in the mainstream.

On the heels of Starfield’s astonishing findings, media reporting was rather perfunctory, and it soon dwindled. No major newspaper or television network mounted an ongoing “Medicalgate” investigation. Neither the US Department of Justice nor federal health agencies undertook prolonged remedial action.

All in all, those parties who could have taken effective steps to correct this situation preferred to ignore it.

On December 6-7, 2009, I interviewed Dr. Starfield by email. Here are excerpts from that interview.

What has been the level and tenor of the response to your findings, since 2000?

The American public appears to have been hoodwinked into believing that more interventions lead to better health, and most people that I meet are completely unaware that the US does not have the ‘best health in the world’.

In the medical research community, have your medically-caused mortality statistics been debated, or have these figures been accepted, albeit with some degree of shame?

The findings have been accepted by those who study them. There has been only one detractor, a former medical school dean, who has received a lot of attention for claiming that the US health system is the best there is and we need more of it. He has a vested interest in medical schools and teaching hospitals (they are his constituency).

Have health agencies of the federal government consulted with you on ways to mitigate the [devastating] effects of the US medical system?

NO.

Since the FDA approves every medical drug given to the American people, and certifies it as safe and effective, how can that agency remain calm about the fact that these medicines are causing 106,000 deaths per year?

Even though there will always be adverse events that cannot be anticipated, the fact is that more and more unsafe drugs are being approved for use. Many people attribute that to the fact that the pharmaceutical industry is (for the past ten years or so) required to pay the FDA for reviews [of its new drugs]—which puts the FDA into an untenable position of working for the industry it is regulating. There is a large literature on this.

Aren’t your 2000 findings a severe indictment of the FDA and its standard practices?

They are an indictment of the US health care industry: insurance companies, specialty and disease-oriented medical academia, the pharmaceutical and device manufacturing industries, all of which contribute heavily to re-election campaigns of members of Congress. The problem is that we do not have a government that is free of influence of vested interests. Alas, [it] is a general problem of our society—which clearly unbalances democracy.

Can you offer an opinion about how the FDA can be so mortally wrong about so many drugs?

Yes, it cannot divest itself from vested interests. (Again, [there is] a large literature about this, mostly unrecognized by the people because the industry-supported media give it no attention.)

Would it be correct to say that, when your JAMA study was published in 2000, it caused a momentary stir and was thereafter ignored by the medical community and by pharmaceutical companies?

Are you sure it was a momentary stir? I still get at least one email a day asking for a reprint—ten years later! The problem is that its message is obscured by those that do not want any change in the US health care system.

Are you aware of any systematic efforts, since your 2000 JAMA study was published, to remedy the main categories of medically caused deaths in the US?

No systematic efforts; however, there have been a lot of studies. Most of them indicate higher rates [of death] than I calculated.

What was your personal reaction when you reached the conclusion that the US medical system was the third leading cause of death in the US?

I had previously done studies on international comparisons and knew that there were serious deficits in the US health care system, most notably in lack of universal coverage and a very poor primary care infrastructure. So I wasn’t surprised.

Did your 2000 JAMA study sail through peer review, or was there some opposition to publishing it?

It was rejected by the first journal that I sent it to, on the grounds that ‘it would not be interesting to readers’!

Do the 106,000 deaths from medical drugs only involve drugs prescribed to patients in hospitals, or does this statistic also cover people prescribed drugs who are not in-patients in hospitals?

I tried to include everything in my estimates. Since the commentary was written, many more dangerous drugs have been added to the marketplace.

INTERVIEWER COMMENTS:

This interview with Dr. Starfield reveals that, even when an author has unassailable credentials within the medical-research establishment, the findings can result in no changes made to the system.

Many persons and organizations within the medical system contribute to the annual death totals of patients, and media silence and public ignorance are certainly major factors, but the FDA is the assigned gatekeeper, when it comes to the safety of medical drugs.

The buck stops there. If those drugs the FDA is certifying as safe are killing, like clockwork, 106,000 people a year, the Agency must be held accountable. The American people must understand that.

As for the other 119,000 people killed every year as a result of hospital treatment, this horror has to be laid at the doors of those institutions. Further, to the degree that hospitals are regulated and financed by state and federal governments, the relevant health agencies assume culpability.

It is astounding, as well, that the US Department of Justice has failed to weigh in on Starfield’s findings. If 225,000 medically caused deaths per year is not a crime by the Dept. of Justice’s standards, then what is?

To my knowledge, not one person in America has been fired from a job or even censured as result of these medically caused deaths.

Dr. Starfield’s findings have been available for 15 years. She has changed the perception of the medical landscape forever. In a half-sane nation, she would be accorded a degree of recognition that would, by comparison, make the considerable list of her awards pale. And significant and swift action would have been taken to punish the perpetrators of these crimes and reform the system from its foundations.

The pharmaceutical giants stand back and carve up the populace into “promising markets.” They seek new disease labels and new profits from more and more toxic drugs. They do whatever they can—legally or illegally—to influence doctors in their prescribing habits. Many studies which show the drugs are dangerous are buried. FDA panels are filled with doctors who have drug-company ties. Legislators are incessantly lobbied and supported with pharma campaign monies.

Nutrition, the cornerstone of good health, is ignored or devalued by most physicians. Meanwhile, the FDA continues to attack nutritional supplements, even though the overall safety record of these nutrients is excellent, whereas, once again, the medical drugs the FDA certifies as safe are killing 106,000 Americans per year.

Physicians are trained to pay exclusive homage to peer-reviewed published drug studies. These doctors unfailingly ignore the fact that, if medical drugs are killing a million Americans per decade, the studies on which those drugs are based must be fraudulent. In other words, the whole literature is suspect, unreliable, and impenetrable.

Exit From The Matrix: vision of a great adventure

Exit From The Matrix: vision of a great adventure

by Jon Rappoport

OutsideTheRealityMachine

Is there something wrong with having a vision of a great adventure? Looking around at society today, you might think so.

But the individual, bombarded though he might be with propaganda and group-think, still wants it. He wants the feeling of greater space and the power to make something new happen.

He wants relief from repetition and boredom. He wants the thrill of “new worlds.” And not just in his thoughts, but in his life.

The adventure begins in imagination—and by that I mean a great deal more than a flicker of hope or an occasional burst of energy.

There is a line in the mind and the psyche. On one side of the line is everything the individual already knows and can act on. As time passes, a corrosive dissatisfaction grows, because there are no surprises.

On the other side of the line is an infinity of possibility…undiscovered territory. Untapped potential. The unknown.

The North Star in this vast expanse is imagination. It’s the North Star and the engine and the vision. It’s endlessly renewing energy and creative power.

Why? How? Because the individual is built for that kind of life. And society is built for something else. Society is engineered for systems and organization and control.

When I put together my mega-collection, Exit From The Matrix, I pursued ways of triggering imagination and bringing it into the foreground—not just for a few moments now and then, but in a way that would be as natural as breathing and walking and thinking and feeling.

It is only through education and group-think and complete immersion in systems that imagination recedes into the background.

Based on my own experiences as a writer and painter, my investigation of early Tibet (before a theocracy took over there), and my work with a brilliant hypnotherapist, Jack True (who gave up hypnotism and opted for other strategies), I developed hundreds of imagination exercises.

These exercises are aimed at liberating imagination and liberating extraordinary amounts of latent energy in the individual.

That energy, in fact, is always waiting for imagination to swing into gear and doesn’t surface until then.

In Exit From The Matrix, I include and offer dozens of these exercises for daily practice.

The great adventure…it’s there for all of us.

In putting together Exit From The Matrix, I laid out two decades of work in developing specific techniques and exercises that expand the scope and range of the imagination.

These exercises make the creative power of the individual available.

This is the journey from What Already Exists to What Could Exist.

Not just in theory, but through action, through employing untapped reservoirs of power and energy.

What has been called The Matrix is a series of layers. These layers compose what we call Reality. Reality is not merely the consensus people accept in their daily lives. It is also a personal and individual conception of limits. It is a perception that these limits are somehow built into existence. But this is not true.

What I’ve done here is remove the lid on those perceived limits. This isn’t an intellectual undertaking. It’s a way to open up space and step on to a new road.

I invite you to that road.

Jimmy Kimmel quoted me, so here’s more on vaccines

Jimmy Kimmel quoted me, so here’s more on vaccines

by Jon Rappoport

March 4, 2015

NoMoreFakeNews.com

The other night on his show, Jimmy Kimmel doubled down on his defense of vaccination.

His approach? He quoted bloggers and tweeters who attacked him.

At 0m40s, in the video, he read a line from my piece about him:

“Kimmel (and TV news anchors) personally know as much about vaccine science as an ant knows about spaceship navigation.”

Jimmy Kimmel quotes Jon, doubles down on vaccines.

Jimmy Kimmel quotes Jon, doubles down on vaccines.

So here’s more.

Kimmel knows as much about vaccine science as George W Bush knows about Einstein on a slow Thursday.

Kimmel plays the “what could be more obvious” card: a private citizen is an idiot when it comes to medical matters, but we have these people. They’re called DOCTORS. They know. Because they went to MEDICAL SCHOOL.

Thanks for clearing that up, Jimmy. It’s so simple.

Of course we have this: the US medical system kills 225,000 people every year. That’s 2.25 million killings per decade. (Dr. Barbara Starfield, JAMA, July 26, 2000, “Is US health really the best in the world?”)

You mean THOSE doctors, Jimmy?

Jimmy knows as much about doctors as an ant knows about hosting a late-night talk show.

Jimmy looks at a building with a sign that says MEDICAL SCHOOL and thinks, “Good. Knowledge inside that building. Knowledge good. Me like.”

Jimmy’s mind apparently has a section labeled: WOW. DOCTORS. BOW DOWN AND PRAY. OFFER GIFTS.

Jimmy isn’t a PR man for the medical industry, but he plays one on television.

His studio audience appears to love the act. However, the producers pump pharmaceutical-grade amphetamines into the room during broadcasts, don’t they?

“The combined death rate from scarlet fever, diphtheria, whooping cough and measles among children up to fifteen shows that nearly 90 percent of the total decline in mortality between 1860 and 1965 had occurred before the introduction of antibiotics and widespread immunization. In part, this recession may be attributed to improved housing and to a decrease in the virulence of micro-organisms, but by far the most important factor was a higher host-resistance due to better nutrition.” —Ivan Illich, Medical Nemesis, Bantam Books, 1977

“… Based on the only U.S. findings on adverse DPT [diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus vaccine] reactions, an FDA-financed study at the University of California, Los Angeles, one out of every 350 children will have a convulsion; one in 180 children will experience high-pitched screaming; and one in 66 will have a fever of 105 degrees or more.” —Jennifer Hyman, Democrat and Chronicle, Rochester, New York, special supplement on DPT, dated April, 1987.

“Assistant Secretary of Health Edward Brandt, Jr., MD, testifying before the U.S. Senate Committee on Labor and Human Resources, rounded… figures off to 9,000 cases of convulsions, 9,000 cases of collapse, and 17,000 cases of high-pitched screaming for a total of 35,000 acute neurological reactions occurring within forty-eight hours of a DPT shot among America’s children every year.”DPT: A Shot in the Dark, by Harris L. Coulter and Barbara Loe Fischer, Harcourt Brace Jovanovich. 1986.

These three items are just a few of many they don’t discuss in the sacred temple of medical school.

Ebola hoax update: my FOIA request to the CDC

Ebola hoax update: my FOIA request to the CDC

by Jon Rappoport

March 4, 2015

NoMoreFakeNews.com

“The Reality Manufacturing Company enjoys creating and selling components that are invisible, that aren’t there at all.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)

There are things people say they know for certain. No error is possible.

When medical officials say they have discovered a new disease caused by a germ, or they have discovered a new outbreak of a known disease…

Almost everyone climbs on board.

Almost everyone automatically assumes that the disease is, in fact, what officials say it is…

And more importantly, almost everyone assumes this disease MUST BE caused by the germ that officials claim is the cause.

Four months ago, I sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the CDC.

I have heard nothing back. No data, no email, no acknowledgment of my request. Nada. Zilch. Zero.

I’m not surprised or shocked.

After all, I was questioning the whole CDC premise of the Ebola “epidemic.” I was challenging it.

But it’s instructive to realize the CDC feels no need or responsibility to offer evidence for its claims. The CDC is too big to fail. It’s too criminal to be prosecuted.

It’s too dedicated to false science to know what actual science is.

My FOIA request was simple: I wanted to see proof that the CDC had ever isolated the Ebola virus from a human being.

“Isolated” means “discovered.” It means “looked at directly via electron microscope.”

It means “real” as opposed to “guessed at” or “loosely inferred.”

Here is my FOIA request verbatim:

“This is a request for published records, data, studies, electron microscope photographs, work notes, and internal correspondence relating to and describing, in detail, the direct isolation of the Ebola virus from human beings.

“Note: My request does not seek information on this subject which is derived from antibody tests, PCR tests, or virus cultured and grown outside the human body. Nor does it seek electron microscope photographs which are, in fact, simulations or the result of computer models.

“I am, however, seeking electron microscope photos of diseased human tissue.”

That’s it.

The CDC has not replied. So until I see otherwise, I’ll assume they have no evidence to offer. They can’t prove they’ve ever isolated the Ebola virus from a human.

That would mean they can’t prove “Ebola” is in any way connected to what they’re calling the Ebola virus.

Disease hoaxes start at square one, where the fundamental assumptions are made. And one of the first assumptions is: humans who are labeled with a germ-caused disease house that germ in their bodies.

This seems like a truism. But it isn’t, because there are cases in which an “outbreak” is promoted, and yet the virus which is said to be at the root of the outbreak can’t be found.

It can’t be found in the body. Or it can’t be found in sufficient quantity to cause disease.

Its presence and influence can only be inferred through faulty and/or deceptive means.

That’s why, in email correspondence with me, David Rasnick, PhD, announced this shocking finding:

“I have examined in detail the literature on isolation and Ems [EM: electron microscope pictures] of both Ebola and Marburg viruses. I have not found any convincing evidence that Ebola virus (and for that matter Marburg) has been isolated from humans. There is certainly no confirmatory evidence of human isolation.”

Rasnick obtained his PhD from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and spent 25 years working with proteases (a class of enzymes) and protease inhibitors. He is the author of the book, The Chromosomal Imbalance Theory of Cancer. He was a member of the Presidential AIDS Advisory Panel of South Africa.

Unless and until I see convincing evidence to the contrary, Rasnick’s statement is a knockout punch.

That means the whole Ebola “epidemic” was and is a hoax.

As my readers know, I’ve gone over the Ebola situation carefully, from many angles, in past articles (archived here). I’ve shown that every symptom and effect that has been attributed to the Ebola virus (including bleeding) can be accounted for and explained in other ways.

No virus necessary. None.

There are two prominent tests which are supposed to diagnosis the Ebola virus in patients. The antibody and the PCR (polymerase chain reaction).

But the antibody test often registers falsely positive for the presence of a virus, because the test is actually is reacting to a number of non-viral factors. And even when the test is accurate, it merely shows the patient has come in contact with the virus in question. It doesn’t imply past, present, or future illness. Until 1984, when the science was turned on its head for no good reason, a positive antibody test was generally taken to mean the patient’s immune system had successfully warded off the virus.

The PCR test takes a tiny, tiny fleck of genetic material assumed to come from a virus and amplifies it to the point where it can be observed. The test is prone to many errors. Even when it is done accurately, it doesn’t imply the patient will ever become ill. Why? Because illness only occurs when there are huge numbers of virus in the body—and the PCR test is a completely unreliable indicator of number. Also, why bother to use the PCR at all, since if the patient actually has a great deal of virus in his body, there are easier and more direct means of isolating it.

Both widely used tests for Ebola virus are irrelevant and useless.

I stand behind my prior articles: no convincing evidence has been presented to show the so-called “Ebola outbreak” stems from the Ebola virus.

Therefore, one should look for other causes of the illness and death labeled “Ebola.”

The causes are there; they are non-viral; and they can be corrected and eliminated by non-medical means.

But they don’t produce profits. They don’t scare the public into complying with government demands. They don’t scare the public into wanting a vaccine.

power outside the matrix

The real reasons for the “Ebola outbreak” include, but are not limited to: industrial pollution; organophosphate pesticides (causes bleeding); vast overuse of antibiotics (causes bleeding); severe and debilitating nutritional deficiencies (which can cause bleeding); starvation; drastic electrolyte loss; chronic diarrhea; grinding poverty; war; stolen farm land; vaccination campaigns (in people whose immune systems are compromised, vaccines can easily wipe out their last shreds of health).

Doctors and nurses in West Africa were working in very high temperatures, in clinic rooms likely sprayed with extremely toxic organophosphate pesticides. These workers were sealed into hazmat suits, where temperatures rose even higher, causing the loss of up to five liters of body fluid during a one-hour shift. Then, recovering, they would need IV rehydration, and they would be doused with disinfectant chemicals. They would go back into the suits for another round of duty. One doctor reported that, inside his suit, there was (toxic) chlorine. These factors alone could cause dangerous illness and even death, and, of course, the basic symptoms of “Ebola.”

People diagnosed with Ebola outside West Africa? Again, the diagnostic tests are completely irrelevant and unreliable. Illness, if any, could come from a variety of causes. The “Ebola symptoms” are similar, for example, to the flu.

Repackaging a set of common symptoms under different disease labels is a standard practice of the medical cartel.

During the dreaded SARS epidemic (hoax) of 2003, a Canadian microbiologist named Frank Plummer, working for the World Health Organization, inadvertently blew the whistle on the whole con by admitting to the press that labs were finding fewer and fewer SARS patients that had the SARS virus in their bodies.

That’s an absurd contradiction. That’s saying, “The SARS illness caused by the SARS virus can’t be caused by the SARS virus because the SARS virus isn’t even there, but we’ll keep saying SARS is SARS, even though it can’t be.”

Total gibberish.

My FOIA request to the CDC about Ebola continues to go unanswered.
