Kari Lake, AZ candidate for governor, has the right idea

An open letter to the people of Arizona

Kari was fuming after the Feds raided Trump’s Mar-a-Lago. And she launched a statement about that. Yup. OK. Fine. But it’s how she moved on from the subject of Trump that really interests me.

Here’s her blast:

“This is one of the darkest days in American history: the day our Government, originally created by the people, turned against us. This illegitimate, corrupt Regime hates America and has weaponized the entirety of the Federal Government to take down President Donald Trump. Our Government is rotten to the core. These tyrants will stop at nothing to silence the Patriots who are working hard to save America. This is an incredibly horrendous abuse of power. If we accept it, America is dead. We will not accept it. The 10th Amendment can and will save our Republic and the road to stripping the feds of power travels right through Arizona. We must fire the federal government…”

The powers of the states. The 10th Amendment. Rejecting the Feds.

As my readers know, I’ve been hitting this issue very hard. Free states. Competitive states.

What can Arizona offer people that Oregon or New Jersey or Montana can’t? I’m not talking about government freebies, I’m talking about a robust economy, freedom from crazy wokey-dokey government officials, and so on.

Yes, reject federal power in every way possible, but also build up AZ as the place to go for American refugees fleeing insane states that resemble China.

I’ve mentioned this before, and here it is again. Open Arizona to healing practitioners of every stripe, licensed or not. The only proviso is: their treatments are not harmful.

You’ll get thousands of practitioners and their prospective clients moving to AZ overnight. The practitioner and client are responsible adults. They sign contracts with each other, swearing that no liability will be attached to the results of the treatments. No law suits. The state government is not involved in any way.

The AZ economy will BOOM.

And the predatory state medical board will be shoved into the background. They can whine and scream to their hearts’ content.

Tear down fed power and build up Arizona power.

Decentralization wins.

We win.

This is not a loophole in the Constitution. This is a 20-lane super highway called the 10th Amendment. Those powers not specially granted to the Federal government are reserved for the states and the people.

Stand on that and take on all comers.

    They have awoken the Sleeping Giant. They have made themselves and their intentions plain. It is time for Americans to stand up and denounce the actions of these thugs and resist.

    Florida has of course distinguished itself as a free state. There is no reason others can’t do the same. They will find a flood of newcomers and much better economies.

    As an Arizona resident, I hope that your vision of what is possible for our state becomes manifest.

    It may be unreasonable but I hope that anti-federalism becomes a movement that dismantles the Federal Reserve. I do not yet fully understand the extent to which this private bank of banks has broken the backs of average citizens…

    I love Arizona, but Arizona has the highest rate of medical kidnapping in the whole country. Children of parents who disagree with standard medical treatment and refuse to go along with everything that doctors want to do to their children, and lose their parental rights because of that, end up wards of the state and are forced to undergo whatever medical treatment the hospital advises. That problem would have to be fixed

    Don’t ignore the power of the state and how it’s a mirror image of the feds, just shrunken down. As I tweeted earlier:

    “Just like the federal government, each state has a constitution, therefore state power is limited. State statutes (laws) must conform to the state constitution and can’t conflict with the federal constitution. If state power was unlimited, there wouldn’t be a state constitution.”

    The battle needs to be at both federal and state levels where each is told “Adhere to your constitution. Statutory law that doesn’t, is unconstitutional whether at the federal or state level”

Who in any right mind would have voted in Trump knowing he’d lock down the world then become a sleasy used vaccine salesman pushing genetic engineering on grandma as she’s locked in a cage away from everyone then keeps saying what he did was so wonderful. The man is delusional. This woman is THE EXACT SAME THING. It’s plain as day. She’ll screw AZ big time you watch. This evangelistic claim of hers is too much! Government rotten to the core? Let’s ask medicare and social security recipients, do they feel government is rotten to the core? They will tell you no as they are supported in their old age by government that they supported by working. The system keeps their lives stable. Try that in Cuba. There’s a hundred thousand things that US government does constantly that keeps the entire country running smoothly and safely. Kari is ANOTHER EGOMANIAC.

      Totally agree! These politicians are nothing but pied pipers – they whisper sweet nothings in our ears, so we let down our guard. I hate to admit, I was duped by Trump because he was such an oddity, but I’m seeing clearly now. I don’t know how any Trump supporters could trust him anymore and actually vote for him again after how he betrayed Americans during COVID. He is just playing a role. That whole “raid” was another farce to make him look like a victim to drum up more support for him. Absolutely ridiculous. The only good thing about “truth telling” politicians like Kari Lake is they probably do open the eyes of many people to the fraud of the govt. But then they do a bait and switch.

    Healing practitioners would be the death knell to the medical mafia cartel, and it’s one of the best ideas around for bringing the medical mafia to heel.

    It will also expose much of “modern medicine” for the outright fake show and sham it is. So, you better bet your bottom dollar the criminal medical complex will do anything and everything it can to make sure healing practitioners never have the chance to do what needs to be done.

    Like Trump or hate him… any abusive acts by anyone who has been given power over We the People is an attack on all of us. And even there turns out to be some ‘legitimate’ cause of action in this particular Trump instance this does NOT explain why similar or worse actions by certain connected and protected politicians over many years has gone unpunished. Mostly unpunished, forever. Either way, this stinks to high heaven.

    Try as They might… you cannot control the human heart. Just like in your personal life… a relationship you have might work for a time and then it doesn’t and you have to move on. So it is in larger social group relationships as well. Trying to rule over human hearts by brute force never works. It only results in chaos, pain, and needless death and misery.

    ‘They’ want us to live under the New Social Contract of Empire. The Social contract of ‘They’ have all rights and you have no right. A Contract of institutionalized Depravity and Dehumanization.

    It is not only painful and chaotic when a government is at war with its own people. It’s stinking… RIDICULOUS. It’s like having Coaches and Managers (and Owners) of a sports team at odds with their own players and team’s fans. This is absurd and farcical. A joke that’s not at all funny of the highest order.

    There’s a reason why the institution of Divorce came along within the human experience. Sometimes you just can’t live with someone any more.

    Sometimes it’s taking a breather. Sometimes it’s a legal separation. And sometimes it’s fully get the hell away from each other.

    And that principle applies to other human experiences and circumstances as well.

    Doesn’t mean it can’t be done. I get where people are coming from with their “true” belief that “we the people” can’t possibly overtake so much power. Instead of pointing out that Goliath is so huge, people should stop for a minute, then start thinking of ways it is possible to live in freedom. It definitely can be done.

    The Ninth and Tenth Amendments have been consistently ignored and/or violated by our corrupt “court system” for years!

    These united states have been heading down the dark path towards totalitarianism for a very long time. So this latest assault on our rights by the FBI and DOJ is nothing but the latest “salvo” in an ongoing war against the People.

    In other words,

    THIS has all been going on for a long time.

    Always enjoy your writings. You (among a few others) have helped me to see our time in the present form through different eyes, thank you for your work through out the years. Many things that could be addressed about this article, however, I say, yes to physicians, etc. Being able to practice as a right of common occupation, and as the “old” Hippocratic oath stated, “do no harm…”

    And yes, the states (the unincorporated, land masses with distinct boundaries, inhabited with living wo/men, i.e. people) were originally and still are separate nations (the unincorporated versions).

    Hi, this is (your name) calling from (your city). I’m calling to demand you vote NO on H.R. 5376 – incorrectly called the Inflation Reduction Act, which will actually raise taxes and increase inflation.

    The American economy is in a recession. We can’t afford another tax hike. The Joint Committee on Taxation reports this bill will RAISE TAXES on the huge majority of Americans, especially the poor and middle class.

    Now that the Carried Interest Loophole for hedge fund billionaires is protected in the bill, it really is just a big tax hike for working Americans.

    I demand you vote NO on this disastrous bill. I will be watching your vote.

    Bravo! Spot on! Arizona’s government has driven out several health practitioners who made a real difference in my life. One healed me of total kidney failure in less than 24 hours. Another stabilized the joints I kept dislocating. These people moved to Colorado, and they’re now in the midst of crazy. I want them back.

      Many alternate practitioners seem to have disappeared from the public. Perhaps fearing the consequences of stolen elections.

      But AZ has a big advantage over other states. The mainstream medical board has no say over natural practitioners. A doctor I knew got the state to have a board of natural practitioners overseeing their own. It is not perfect, but a huge improvement over the tyranny of a pharma board.

    Ive been watching the 10th Amendment succeed slowly in the last few years.

    So grateful that we can plan to make states free period end of story; reject this federal crap.

    100 percent on board with this make states free again idea. Very workable.

    I am in Texas. Im a plumber. All plumbers must get fbi fingerprinted now to be able to work, because they actually passed it as law, or you will lose your license and new appliers cant get a license if they dont do it. Most Independent Strong Texans have already acquiesced to this one time fbi fingerprinting without batting an eye and simply did so before it was even law, just because they lied and said it was now required. Yes it for the Public Safety for Texas. Barf.

    Ive paid my renew plumbers license fee but have failed to make it down to the fbi to do the one time criminal fingerprinting. So even though Ive paid, and they dont return your paynent, I hasnt been renewed. They say I need to be fingerprinted.

    You take a great thriving state of Texas, massive amount of wonderful people and you turn them into agents and they dont even know it.

    Thanks, Jon, for this article. It’s such an important reminder that if we want democracy to keep evolving, we need it to be a part of our everyday lives. I’d encourage folks to listen to Richard Wolff. He has been arguing for years that without democracy in the workplace, democracy really is just an empty philosophy. Here’s a link to his podcast:


    Reading the comments heartens me as well! While I am encouraged by Lake’s willingness to push back against the Covid narrative, her insistence on waving the Trump flag leaves much to be desired. Is there any evidence to support that Trump and those who follow him actually are working to ensure that democracy evolves?

    How would you travel without a federal passport?

    Could a state issue a state passport with equal ingress and egress of the borders?

    I think this strengthens the right to travel freely without a drivers license or the old way before the public bought into the false reality of the DMV having any authority based in law. The supreme court has said many times a license is only needed by commercial drivers no license is needed to travel.
