Explosive: psychiatric diagnosis, Surveillance State linked

Explosive: psychiatric diagnosis, Surveillance State linked

by Jon Rappoport

July 23, 2017

Pay close attention to this one. It’s the future coming at you like a strong wind.

First, a bit of background. As my readers know, I’ve assembled conclusive proof that psychiatric diagnosis of mental disorders is a fraud. It’s pseudoscience. There are no defining lab tests. No definitive blood, saliva, hair, brain, genetic tests.

Instead, committees of psychiatrists meet and discuss arbitrary clusters of behaviors, group them and label them with “mental-disorder” names.

But diehards insist that one of the earliest and oldest disorders, schizophrenia, is the exception. That one is solid. That one isn’t pseudoscience. That one is the “gold standard.”

Wrong.

As fiercebiotech.com reports, “…Diagnosing schizophrenia relies on subjective methods…There is no single test for schizophrenia, so diagnosis typically involves observing symptoms and ruling out other potential causes for them…”

Want more? Fiercebiotch: “And while scientists have observed differences in brain scans of healthy people and those with schizophrenia…these are not currently used to diagnose the neurological disorder, according to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).” Not used because the brain scans aren’t precise or definitive.

Same old, same old. Committees of psychiatrists “observe symptoms” (behaviors) and invent rules for diagnosis of schizophrenia.

As usual, the public is the last to know.

Now, there is a new project afoot that aims to change the non-objective diagnosis, using MRI images of the brain. IBM and the University of Alberta are working on it:

Fiercebiotech (see also this press release): “The team used machine learning to create a model that identifies schizophrenia based on connections in the brain, IBM said. The fMRI data was taken from different sites, using different machines, but the algorithm could differentiate between the patients with schizophrenia and without 74% of the time.”

No one is popping champagne corks. This was a small pilot study using 95 volunteers. Typically, these projects die out when larger studies are done, because the results aren’t specific enough.

That’s why NO brain tests, for ANY so-called mental disorder, are labeled definitive in the psychiatric bible, the DSM, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual.

However, the computer boys and medical pros keep trying—and here is where the Surveillance State enters the scene in an ugly way.

Fiercebiotech: “Mindstrong Health, cofounded by former NIMH [National Institute of Mental Health, a federal agency] chief Tom Insel, is working on technology that analyzes smartphone data to determine a person’s mental state. The company’s tech collects information on which words are used, or a person’s location when using certain apps, for example, and turns them into objective measures of brain function. The company recently raised $14 million…”

“Meanwhile, Boston-based Akili Interactive and Pfizer reported data last year showing that a video game-based diagnostic test could distinguish between people with and without brain amyloidosis, a hallmark of Alzheimer’s disease. And PureTech’s Sonde Health is working on the analysis of ‘vocal biomarkers,’ or changes in nonlinguistic characteristics of a person’s voice, to indicate changes in health.”

To make a long story short: spy on everybody through their cell phones and computers, in order to diagnose them with ANY mental disorder.

The Surveillance State gets a new justification, and the psychiatric establishment gets to play Big Brother, “to protect us all” from mentally ill persons.

This research was kicked into a higher gear by Obama’s Brain Mapping Project, which he announced in the wake of the Sandy Hook school shooting. The Project is necessary, he claimed, to help prevent such future tragedies.

No, the Project is necessary to expand surveillance of the population, for the sake of control.

Psychiatric diagnosis, and the toxic drugging that follows, IS a form of control.

“Well, we have a red-flagged subject in Boston who’s been using key words in his cell phone calls, and the non-linguistic pauses and voice inflections indicate he’s demonstrating a schizoid pattern. According to outlined procedures, we need to step up surveillance on him, do a deep check on his financials, quietly interview a few of his friends and co-workers, determine his voting record, find out what groups he belongs to. He’s a college professor. He teaches American history. Do we have anything on how he interprets the Founding Fathers, the Constitution…oh look, he seems to be making statements about the need to return to limited central government…we’ve got a live one, guys. Get busy…”

Diagnose the prof with schizoid tendencies and put him on an anti-psychotic drug, which will sink him into a brain haze and slow down his motor reflexes, at minimum.

Psychiatry and the Surveillance State:

Kissing cousins.

Top ten reasons to doubt official story on Assad poison-gas attack

by Jon Rappoport

April 13, 2017

(To join our email list, click here.)

The sarin-gas attack story prompted the US missile strike on a Syrian runway. Here are the top ten reasons for doubting that story, and instead calling it a convenient pretext:

ONE: Photos show rescue workers treating/decontaminating people injured or killed in the gas attack. The workers aren’t wearing gloves or protective gear. Only the clueless or crazy would expose themselves to sarin residue, which can be fatal.

TWO: MIT professor Thomas Postol told RT, “I believe it can be shown, without doubt, that the [US intelligence] document does not provide any evidence whatsoever that the US government has concrete knowledge that the government of Syria was the source of the chemical attack in Khan Shaykhun…Any competent analyst would have had questions about whether the debris in the crater was staged or real. No competent analyst would miss the fact that the alleged sarin canister was forcefully crushed from above, rather than exploded by a munition within it.” How would a canister purportedly dropped from an Assad-ordered plane incur “crushing from above?”

THREE: Why would President Assad, supported by Russia, scoring victory after victory against ISIS, moving closer to peace negotiations, suddenly risk all his gains by dropping sarin gas on his own people?

FOUR: In an interview with Scott Horton, ex-CIA officer Philip Giraldi states that his intelligence and military sources indicate Assad didn’t attack his own people with poison gas.

FIVE: Ex-CIA officer Ray McGovern states that his military sources report an Assad air strike did hit a chemical plant, and the fallout killed people, but the attack was not planned for that purpose. There was no knowledge the chemicals were lethal.

SIX: At consortiumnews.com, journalist Robert Parry writes, “There is a dark mystery behind the White House-released photo showing President Trump and more than a dozen advisers meeting at his estate in Mar-a-Lago after his decision to strike Syria with Tomahawk missiles: Where are CIA Director Mike Pompeo and other top intelligence officials?”

“Before the photo was released on Friday, a source told me that Pompeo had personally briefed Trump on April 6 about the CIA’s belief that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was likely not responsible for the lethal poison-gas incident in northern Syria two days earlier — and thus Pompeo was excluded from the larger meeting as Trump reached a contrary decision.”

“After the attack, Secretary of State Tillerson, who is not an institutional intelligence official and has little experience with the subtleties of intelligence, was the one to claim that the U.S. intelligence community assessed with a ‘high degree of confidence’ that the Syrian government had dropped a poison gas bomb on civilians in Idlib province.”

“While Tillerson’s comment meshed with Official Washington’s hastily formed groupthink of Assad’s guilt, it is hard to believe that CIA analysts would have settled on such a firm conclusion so quickly, especially given the remote location of the incident and the fact that the initial information was coming from pro-rebel (or Al Qaeda) sources.”

“Thus, a serious question arises whether President Trump did receive that ‘high degree of confidence’ assessment from the intelligence community or whether he shunted Pompeo aside to eliminate an obstacle to his desire to launch the April 6 rocket attack.”

SEVEN: As soon as the Assad gas attack was reported, the stage was set for a US missile strike. No comprehensive investigation of the purported gas attack was undertaken.

EIGHT: There are, of course, precedents for US wars based on false evidence—the missing WMDs in Iraq, the claims of babies being pushed out of incubators in Kuwait, to name just two.

NINE: Who benefits from the sarin gas story? Assad? Or US neocons; the US military-industrial complex; Pentagon generals who want a huge increase in their military budget; Trump and his team, who are suddenly praised in the press, after a year of being pilloried at every turn; and ISIS?

TEN: For those who doubt that ISIS has ever used poison gas, see the NY Times (11/21/2016). While claiming that Assad has deployed chemical attacks, the article also states that ISIS has deployed chemical weapons 52 times since 2014.

I’m not claiming these ten reasons definitely and absolutely rule out the possibility of an Assad-ordered chemical attack. But they do add up to a far more believable conclusion than the quickly assembled “Assad-did-it” story.

These ten reasons starkly point to the lack of a rational and complete investigation of the “gas attack.”

And this lack throws a monkey wrench into Trump’s claim that he was ordering the missile strike based on “a high degree of confidence.”

Why Russia has become the number-one target in the US press

Why Russia has become the number-one target in the US press

by Jon Rappoport

April 12, 2017

The new devil in the US press, as of last summer, was Russia. All of a sudden. And then, in the wake of the election, the devil became the DEVIL. Was this nothing more than an attempt to discredit Trump and his victory?

No. It was definitely something more.

As David Icke stated on the Richie Allen show a few days ago, Russia was the player who was standing in the way of the long-term goal to get rid of Assad in Syria and turn the country into a hellhole like Libya.

The US government and its allies had created, funded, and armed the group called ISIS, the proxy force for, among other operations, wiping out the Assad government in Syria. The Syria op was a slam-dunk…until it wasn’t. Until Putin stepped in and gave air support to Assad’s troops and turned the war around, bringing it to the brink of, God forbid, actual peace negotiations.

That outcome was definitely NOT on the agenda of the US Project for a New American Century, the neocon playbook for destabilizing the Middle East.

Putin was standing in the way. He was screwing up The Plan. He was winning.

Therefore, another WMD (as in Iraq) situation was required. This time, based on no reasonable evidence, the reported weapon would be sarin gas, and the place would be Syria, and the perpetrator would be Assad. And before the sarin-Assad claims could be studied fully, it was time for a response, an attack, a missile strike. The objective? Destroy the peace process in Syria, paint Assad as the killer.

Trump went along. He pulled the trigger. He was fed “evidence” that Assad was killing his own people with outlawed chemical weapons, and he ordered the missile strike.

And now, every neocon in Washington who can get press coverage is saying the Trump has, for the first time, “become the president.”

And that’s true, if by “president” we mean a person who is ingesting “evidence” and taking marching orders from above; from what has been called the Deep State.

A State dedicated to endless war.

The war on Syria is just a television series

The war on Syria is only a television series

by Jon Rappoport

September 8, 2013

www.nomorefakenews.com

No one will die. Syria is a fiction. Brian Williams, who will narrate the attack, is just the latest Pixar cartoon.

This is what I told Mr. Shrink this morning. He frowned and said the drugs weren’t working. I didn’t let him stop me. I kept going.

I told him Obama and Kerry are producers who are trying to sell the series to the networks. They’ve got the sponsors lined up, but there’s an argument about whether it should be three episodes or 12.

One NBC exec remarked, “Okay, so we have the initial missile launch. That’s one night. But afterwards, do we see ground troops? If not, the whole thing could be a bust.”

Kerry said, “If we play it right, we’ll have ground troops. They’ll take a few small towns. Maybe a city.”

CNN has built a studio in Atlanta, consisting of two rooftops, where Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper will do stand-ups in bush jackets, as they pretend to watch the missiles in the sky.

Mr. Shrink put up his hand to halt me.

Look,” he said, “you’ve gone off the rails. Syria is real. People will die there, innocent people.”

No,” I said. “And you know how I know that? Because you’re sitting here talking to me. If you really believed innocent people were about to die, you’d be out in the street, protesting, doing something. But you’re not. You’re crazier than I am.”

That stopped him for a few seconds.

He leaned back in his chair and slanted his head to one side and smiled. He shook his finger at me.

You’re delusional but clever,” he said. “You’re playing some kind of angle. What is it?”

No angle,” I said. “Ever since television came in, there’s been nothing but television. All other reality was banished. People just don’t realize it yet.”

He nodded.

Well,” he said, “in that case there’s no problem. You must be very happy knowing all suffering has ceased. We’re all just watching television.”

No,” I said. “You’ve got it wrong, Doc. I’m here because I’m afraid television is a fragile medium. Any number of events could cause it to go offline. And then where will we be? We’ll sink into a great Void.”

He sniffed a therapeutic opening.

What’s this Void like?” he said.

It’s dark,” I said. “There’s no programming. No news, no CSI, no Law and Order. You know what that means? The concomitant programing in our minds will cease as well, because we’re all wired for television and nothing else.”

So we’ll just sit there in the great Void and stew in our own juice?”

I don’t know,” I said. “It’s a moot question. You’re asking me to comment on what I’d be like without my internal programming. But I can only respond to you THROUGH my programming. Get it?”

He sighed and looked at his watch.

You’re screwing with me,” he said. “Syria is real. The war would be real. The missiles are real. The destruction and loss of life would be very real.”

Look at it this way,” I said. “Suppose, as you say, the war is real. But suppose it isn’t on television. Nothing about it, the debate, the lead-up, the attack…none of it is on television. Therefore, none of us know anything about it. See? So I ask you, would they stage the war at all? What would be the point if it wasn’t on television? The so-called message we’re sending, the punishment for Assad using chemical weapons, the muscle-flexing. It wouldn’t work. It wouldn’t play.”

He stood up. He started pacing around.

In other words,” he said, “we all have a disease called television. We don’t know how sick we are.”

Exactly,” I said. “It’s all-embracing. Wall to wall. The television disease is reality now. Ever since 1950, it’s all there is.”

You need a better drug,” he said.

I already have a drug. The screen.”

But it’s counter-productive,” he said.

So cure me.”

I don’t think I can.”

Why not?”

You make up stuff all the time. You’re making up stuff now.”

Suddenly, across the room, the television set, sitting on an oak table, went on. A large face filled the screen. It was a man’s angry face. The man spoke:

THIS IS THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY. ALL CONVERSATION ABOUT THE WAR WILL STOP NOW. IT IS NOW ILLEGAL TO DISCUSS THE WAR. YOUR GOVERNMENT IS DEBATING THE ISSUE AND WILL SOON COME TO A CONCLUSION. ANYONE CAUGHT DISCUSSING THE WAR WILL BE ARRESTED AND QUARANTINED. I REPEAT, STOP DISCUSSING THE WAR.

The face vanished. The screen was blank. The television set turned off.

See,” I said. “It’s starting.”

Mr. Shrink was blinking. His face was pale.

What the hell are you talking about?” he said.

They just censored the news.” I said. “Pretty soon there won’t be any more news. Then the other programs will go away. Television will cease.”

You’re stark raving mad,” he said.

The television set came back on. The same bland angry face was there:

AS OF THIS MOMENT, ALL TELEVISION PROGRAMMING WILL STOP. THERE WILL ONLY BE GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCEMENTS. WE ARE IN A CRISIS. WE WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED.

The set turned off.

The shrink sat down hard in his chair. He looked straight at me.

What’s going on?” he said.

Well, Doc,” I said, “apparently we’re all heading for the Void.”

No!” he said. “There has to be television!”

No,” I said. You’re off the mark there. There doesn’t have to be television. There only has to be government. Do you see? Government is the last stand against people being by themselves thinking their own thoughts.”

What thoughts?” he said.

Looks like we’re about to find out. But I don’t think it’s going to be pretty. Like I said, the war is only a television event. Without war, we all hit the Big Nothing. That’s where we’re just…wherever we are.”

AND WHERE IS THAT?”

In the reality that is finally real.”

He shook his head vigorously. I thought he was going to dislocate his spine.

WE’VE GOT TO HAVE WAR SO WE CAN HAVE TELEVISION,” he said.

Exit From the Matrix

Now you’re getting it,” I said. “When did that idea first occur to you? Was it just now…or was there a time, perhaps, in childhood when you realized it?”

He leaned back in his chair and took a deep breath and let it out.

I remember when I was nine,” he said. “I was all alone in the house. My parents had gone down the street to see a neighbor. I didn’t want to go. I was sitting in the living room watching the news. I suddenly wondered what would happen if there wasn’t any news.”

You mean you wondered what would happen if there was nothing newsworthy to report?”

He closed his eyes.

No,” he said. “I just wondered what would happen to people if the news stopped.”

And how did you feel when you had that thought?”

I felt happy. I don’t know why. Then I felt guilty.”

You felt guilty?” I said. “Why?”

He paused, then opened his eyes and looked at his hands.

I think I felt guilty because I felt…powerless. I wanted to…invent my own news. I wanted to invent a completely different kind of news. But I didn’t think I could. The networks were too strong. I didn’t see how I could go up against them.”

That’s interesting,” I said.

Yes,” he said. “It is. Even at that age, I saw we were all living in a bubble.”

And war reinforces that bubble.”

But,” he said, “war is real. People die.”

Of course it is. Of course they do. But if they can’t put it on television, then what?”

He thought about it.

Then we might wake up,” he said. “They’d keep killing lots of people and we’d wake up, and then something different would happen. I don’t know what it would be, but…”

He smiled. He reached into his jacket pocket and took out a pistol. He checked the load and extended his arm. He fired three shots into the television set. The screen exploded.

He laid the gun down on the desk.

We sat there for a minute.

Listen,” he said, “can I come back next week? Do you have an opening? Same day, same time?”

Of course, Doc,” I said. “I’ll be here. But listen. Those psychiatric journals you keep stealing from the library? Try to ease off on that. I wouldn’t want you to be in jail and miss your appointment. Your parole officer is a bit of a hard-ass.”

He stood up and looked around the office.

We might be getting somewhere,” he said.

Yes,” I said. “Good work today. See you next week.”

We had a long road ahead of us, but for the first time, I believed we were making progress.

Syria covert op: they had to dump Hillary and bring in Kerry

Syria covert op: They had to dump Hillary and bring in Kerry

by Jon Rappoport

September 7, 2013

www.nomorefakenews.com

Pushed and prodded by John Kerry-Heinz, the zombie from the Black Lagoon, the European Union has agreed to look carefully at the upcoming UN inspectors’ report on chemical weapons.

The report will determine whether those weapons were deployed in Syria but NOT BY WHOM.

Perfect. The EU will learn nothing.

Kerry-Heinz said the EU has made a “strong statement.” Good boy, John, you can come home now. Don’t want to miss the Skull&Bones alumni meeting at Yale.

In his early days as Secretary of State, John is certainly proving himself to be an “activist” Secretary. He’s doing all he can to elevate Obama to the status of “wartime President,” which carries much more prestige than just a guy occupying the White House who can’t create a job for Americans.

You see, since war/destabilization/chaos in Syria has been on the drawing board for some time, and since the relevant players knew this episode was coming, they wanted to get rid of Hillary.

She was embroiled in Benghazi. Not the best track record for urging war in Syria. CIA operatives, some of whom were apparently operating under State Department cover, were busy transferring weapons in Libya to terrorists who were fighting against Assad in Syria. Hmm. Better to avoid that connection.

And Hillary subsequently confirmed her handlers’ doubts about her. She showed her uncontrolled rage during Benghazi testimony before Congress: “What difference, at this point, does it make?” she exclaimed, referring to the question of who killed Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods, and Glen Doherty.

Imagine this sort of press coverage: “Today, Secretary of State Hillary what-difference-does-it-make Clinton said, ‘Of course we have to attack Syria. Launch the missiles now.’ Is she saying, one more time, ‘what difference does it make who used chemical weapons?’”

So they dumped Hillary and dug Kerry-Heinz out of mothballs, dusted him off, propped him up, wound his clock, and sent him into the diplomatic fray.

It’s a close call to decide whether people are more fed up with Kerry now or when he ran for President. He keeps pushing the line: OF COURSE Assad used chemical weapons. But where is the evidence?

It’s classified. The war, however, won’t be. It’ll be out in the open…unless the attacks on Syria turn out to be much more extensive than we’ve been led to believe. The quick strike in and out, the token message of punishment, might be a ruse.

The Matrix Revealed

So Kerry is Obama’s wartime consigliere. Obama is now acting in a conciliatory manner. Kerry is carrying the water for a missile attack. He’s the hardliner.

Speaking of water, and in case you don’t think things are insane enough, ex-State Department advisor, William Polk, claims that global warming is a major cause of civil war in Syria. Drought, farmers, conflict. Therefore, our failure to act on the false science of manmade warming makes it our fault that we’re on the brink of war today.

With 50,000 employees and an annual budget of $50 billion, the State Department could possibly trim its activities and budget to, let’s see, ZERO. How about that? No more dinners and cocktail parties. No more squab and champagne. No more CIA agents and Globalist operatives working under that false cover.

Kerry could go home, take care of his recovering wife, and worry about moving his boat from dock to dock to avoid taxes.

Syria: a vote of no-confidence in the President

Syria: a vote of no-confidence in the President

by Jon Rappoport

September 7, 2013

www.nomorefakenews.com

As members of Congress reveal that calls to their offices are overwhelmingly against the war, and the House considers it may not vote at all, in order to spare Obama embarrassment, we can see a version of what refusing to vote for a president on election day looks like.

It looks like: no-confidence.

Every four years, I write about this possibility. Suppose only 19% of eligible voters showed up at the polls. It would speak loudly: The American people no longer trust the major candidates. They no longer trust the charade. They no longer trust the vote-count. They know both major candidates work for the same Globalist machine.

No-confidence.

Well, here it is. On the issue of the war.

I’m not saying the Congress will reject war. They may go ahead and drive the steamroller over the people. But it’s getting a little hairy for them.

And remember this. The media play any significant presidential victory as a signal that all his programs and plans are getting a boost. But on the flip side, that means a significant failure, in full view of the country, will register—despite the hype and explanations—as a weakening of his overall standing.

Washington DC registers such shifts in power like starving dogs smelling bloody meat. They attack.

War is supposed to be such a big deal that it’s a foregone conclusion, if the President wants it. He either sends the planes on his own, or Congress rubber stamps his position first. But this time, it’s different.

This time it’s: do we believe the President and his “evidence” and his claim that he’s taking the moral high ground; or don’t we. The question is in plain sight. It’s out there for all to see.

The push to war is such an obvious fabrication, only a complete fool or a dyed-in-the-wool Obama believer would opt for attacking Syria. The hypnotic Obama bubble is bursting, even for many of the faith.

In my last article on Syria, I pointed out that the super-secret Congressional intell briefing was a sham. It was all generality and no hard evidence. It was basically arm twisting.

So what’s left? Nothing. “Do what the President wants you to do.”

If Congress says yes, they’ll go down deeper into the dumper with Obama. These barnacles on the body politic can do one thing: assess self-interest and electability. They’re thinking about it.

They’re in the pressure cooker.

The Matrix Revealed

Taking a step back…do you think Obama woke up one day and said, “Hold on here. Assad just used chemical weapons on his own people. I have to take action. I have to punish him.”

Of course not. This idea came from somewhere else. It’s been on the table for years, as part of a Middle East strategy to destabilize the whole region. It’s, on one level, a Mossad-CIA plan, with a Saudi twist. On a higher level, it’s a Globalist operation, whose end game is order from chaos.

Partition nations into warring ethnic enclaves, disrupt the oil flow, create, therefore, planet-wide depression, and come in behind that to install new fascist dictator-puppets, bringing in international banksters to “re-finance” the whole region and own it from the ground up.

Obama is just another renter in the White House, playing the cards he was dealt. He goes along with the show, introducing his own prejudices, like any other President, and takes what he can get.

He’s no magic man, and now his juice is running out.

Exit From the Matrix

A no-confidence vote against war on Syria could, however, expand to mean no-confidence in any White House occupant from the two major parties.

Waking up is hard to do, but if the American people keep their eyes open, they’ll see that this Syria escapade is just one more example of an agenda that betrays any sane person’s idea of what America is supposed to be.

The only kind of transcendent President, in these times, would be one who, after a year or so in office, would hold a press conference and say, “I’ve learned I’m being run. Men are controlling the office of President. I’m supposed to take their orders. Here is what I know about them. Here are their names. Here is what they told me. Here is how they’re trying to coerce me. This is the story, the real story about what has happened to this country…”

To which people might say, “How could a President do that? They’d kill him.”

Exactly. That’s why I used the word “transcendent.”

Every American President sends soldiers to their deaths, and he kills people in distant countries. To be “transcendent” is to put his own life on the line, too.

That should give you some idea about why no-votes signaling no confidence in Presidents are vital. None of them will go as far as necessary to blow the cover on who really runs this nation.

Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Fla., who is aggressively lobbying against a military strike on Syria, says the Obama administration has manipulated intelligence to push its case for U.S. involvement in the country’s two-year civil war…He says members of Congress are being given intelligence briefings without any evidence to support administration claims that Syrian leader Bashar Assad ordered the use of chemical weapons. Grayson said he cannot discuss the classified briefings…” (US News,9/6/13)

HE SAYS MEMBERS OF CONGRESS ARE BEING GIVEN INTELLIGENCE BRIEFINGS WITHOUT ANY EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT ADMINISTRATION CLAIMS THAT SYRIAN LEADER BASHAR ASSAD ORDERED THE USE OF CHEMICAL WEAPONS.

So what do they do in these secret briefings? Show Congressmen a classified CIA handshake? Kill a pig? Hand out stacks of cash?

Here’s the thing, and remember it. Obama invited us all to the party. He said we had to take responsibility for going to war or not going to war.

He said we were involved. The American people.

And since that’s the case, we have to see the evidence. Not just the report to the President. Not just the summary by the CIA. Not just the statement of Mr. Kerry-Heinz. Not just McCain looking up from his video poker game to remind us that we have to go to war to avoid undermining the credibility of the United States.

Evidence is in the details. Put it all on the table. Now. Open it up. Open up the folders and the files and the statements.

Otherwise, how can we make up our minds? We’re not going on faith. We’ve had enough of that.

If you think relying on members of Congress, who’ve had secret briefings behind closed doors, is adequate, you’re quite insane.

Obama says he’s certain Assad used chemical weapons on his own people. That’s where we start. Prove it. Do you know what “prove” means? It means PROVE.

Here’s a novel idea. In these hearings that are taking place now, call to the stand 30 or 40 members of Congress who’ve had the confidential briefings and ask them: what in particular convinced you that Assad used chemical weapons on his own people?

And accept NO generalities. Grill these Congressmen, press them, get down their necks, corner these weasels. Make them make their case.

Oh, sir, you mean you saw photos of dead people? Is that it? You’ve got nothing else?”

Sir, let’s cut the crap. You’re basically telling this committee that you know Assad used chemical weapons on his own people because the CIA told you so. Right? When you boil it down, that’s what you’re saying. My ten-year-old daughter could do better than that.”

Evidence, when you get past the propaganda line, is a strange thing. You know why? Because it’s EVIDENCE. That’s right. It stands there and says, “Hey, look at me, I’m evidence. What do you think? Do I make sense?”

It can be questioned. It can be analyzed. People can chop away at it and defend it and turn it over in their hands and see it from several sides. Each piece of it.

The federal government has certain departments that look at evidence and interpret it. And then they release conclusions. That’s all these people do. And we’re supposed to bow down and say, “Well, those are the people who deal with evidence. We the people have nothing to do with that.”

It’s hypnotism. We’re supposed to accept that the government has people who handle evidence and we’re too stupid to take on the job ourselves. That’s the trance.

And it’s a crock.

We, the CIA, and allied intelligence agencies, declare that we OWN the area of discovering vital and secret information and then interpreting it. We don’t just DO it. We’re exclusively IN CHARGE of it. Every activity in society has a function and that function is delegated to some government department. You, the people, aren’t in charge of anything…”

The government doesn’t want us to look at evidence because it knows we’ll ask questions and pry and poke and analyze it with more care and more righteous suspicion than they do. Minus the official agenda.

There was a self-appointed citizen grand jury who did just that in the case of the Oklahoma City bombing. It was headed up by Charles Key. These people made the hypnotized official Grand Jury directed by official prosecutors look like idiots. What Charles Key’s group discovered would fry your brain. Because they actually looked at the evidence and punched holes in it and found new and better evidence, and they didn’t stop until it was obvious that the whole OKC bombing was a very different kind of op.

The Matrix Revealed

Exit From the Matrix

So, in this situation, the war in Syria, we’re invited to the party, but not really. They don’t want us to see the evidence because they know what we’d do to it.

Mr. Obama? You want us to bear the burden of responsibility for bombing Syria? You said that. All right, then we have to look at the evidence for ourselves. You see, that’s what responsibility entails. If, on the other hand, that invitation to the party was just a straight con, and meant nothing, then okay. At least we know where we stand. But don’t issue the invitation then. We don’t need it and we don’t want it. Also, just out of curiosity, is John Kerry alive? He looks like a corpse who’s been re-animated in a castle in Transylvania. Just asking.”

And now, here’s Putin. His boys have put together a 100-page report showing it’s the rebels who used chem weapons in Syria. They sent the report to the UN. Let’s see it. The whole thing. Open it up. Put it side by side with the US intell assessment and compare and contrast.

Somebody is going to say, “This is ridiculous. The government can’t expose everything they know, because it would ‘compromise methods and sources’ and it could get agents and assets killed.”

Right. They always trot that one out. It ends all arguments.

Okay, wow, I see. Yes. In that case, just keep all your secrets and tell us what to do and we’ll do it. Tell us what to go along with and we will. We’re the peons and you’re the pros.”

Here’s my response to that. One, the government frequently uses the excuse to hide information that wouldn’t get anyone killed but would expose government crimes to the people.

And two, needless and criminal wars also get people killed, and if government has the exclusive right to decide when to make war, we’re living in a fascist State. Why? Because those decisions are often made on the basis of issues miles removed from defending America.

The invitation to the American people to participate in deciding whether to attack Syria? It’s like sitting on a jury in a murder case and having the judge tell you you can’t hear or see the evidence. You’re only going to hear witnesses spout generalities about whether they believe the defendant is innocent or guilty.

Welcome to the charade, the con, the big lie, the imitation of reality.

Michael Corleone says yes to war in Syria

Michael Corleone says yes to war in Syria

by Jon Rappoport

www.nomorefakenews.com

The Godfather saga is clear on one point: the world of the mob has no exit.

Michael Corleone takes his family deeper and deeper into destruction.

Why? First of all, the Corleone life is crime. They cheat, lie, steal, intimidate and murder. No matter how attractive they are, that’s what they do. It’s the source of their wealth.

From that foundation, they venture out into the world and they find enemies. Competing families. They can try to broker peace and sign treaties, or they can attack.

Michael chooses to attack. He has his reasons. They make practical and emotional sense. But eternal war is just that. There is no turning back.

It may seem to Michael that he’s being “pulled back in,” over and over, but it’s his choice and his game and his territory and his actions that shape his fate and bring about the death of his family.

There are always new enemies, and old ones, too. Sollozzo, Barzini, and behind him, Hyman Roth, the kingpin. And Roth isn’t enough. The war has to be taken to the Vatican and its money machine.

Michael is like one of the late Roman emperors, wielding the sword at the end of the line, after the nation had already sealed its fate by opting for imperial empire and conquest. The lethal blowback has already been guaranteed.

Michael would have seen a Syria as an enemy purely on the basis that the natural gas pipeline, if stalled, if canceled, would deal a blow to Russia, his foe. Therefore, attack.

The imperial mindset automatically multiplies enemies.

The federal government of the United States can squirm, feint, dodge, preach, and pontificate. But it has set itself up as a crime family. All that remain are the details.

There will be war and there will be enemies.

The Matrix Revealed

The elasticity of conquest has limits. At some point, the connections snap and the structure and the supply lines collapse.

Sir, here is a blueprint of the entire Middle East. You can apply all this data to Africa as well. We can destabilize virtually every nation in the Middle East. We can set ethnic group against ethnic group. We can topple dictators. We can bring on long nights of chaos. For a while, we can let the home-grown crazies rule there. Then we can step in and take over. With our elite financial partners, we can own those countries by ‘rescuing’ them…”

We can destroy Barzini and the five crime families. We can take over New York and whole east coast and expand our activities into Las Vegas. We can finance legitimate businesses. No one will be able to challenge us…”

Sitting in the wings, waiting, is America’s greatest enemy. These men appear to be allies. In certain ventures, they are. But they see farther. They know more. They’re more calm. They are the Globalists, and the destruction of this country is on their planetary agenda. They see the US as the US government sees Iraq or Libya. They want America to go to war, again and again. They understand how war weakens a country, destabilizes it, bankrupts it, saps its spirit.

Like the forces of evil in Italy, who were waiting for Michael Corleone to make his move and expand his empire into that region, so they could spring their trap, the Globalists are watching the machinations of the US government, are drawing it closer to the flame, where the temperature burns the moth who is obsessed by the false light.

Syria: The permanent structure of the US government is geared for war

Syria: The permanent structure of the US government is geared for war

by Jon Rappoport

www.nomorefakenews.com

This article is about the psychology of big government; criminal psychology.

Face it. Deal with it. The US government, in its present form, is all about going to war. That is what it knows how to do.

I’m not just talking about the Pentagon. The FDA is happiest when it’s trying to attack nutritional supplements and alternative doctors. The EPA is roving the country looking for businesses to punish. The National Institutes of Health is fighting the eternal fraudulent “war on cancer.”

The IRS is searching for people to audit. The Dept. of Justice is always on the lookout for drug traffickers to jail (except when it has immunity deals with them). The NSA is spying on everybody all the time in a war to catch a few terrorists. Of course, in that case, the real enemy is any human being who believes in privacy.

The USDA, through its massive support of Monsanto and GMO food, is making war on farmers and public health. WINPAC, the CIA group that twisted reports of WMD in Iraq and helped send the country into war, in 2002, is now interpreting reports of Assad/chemical weapons to bolster the White House’s case for bombing Syria.

War, war, and war spawns reams of new labyrinthine regulations that, when broken (mostly by citizens who have no idea they exist), indicate it’s time for the government to attack.

If you work for the government, you want, on some level, to make war. It’s what gives you a shot of adrenaline and saves you from a life of grinding boredom.

Curiously, though, these wars are fought but not won through any sort of authentic resolution. Several examples spring to mind. The wars on poverty, cancer, and drugs. In these areas, things have only gotten worse. And then there was a little engagement called Vietnam. How did that turn out? Nevertheless, the government presses on.

Given the psychology of big government, going into Syria is a natural. It’s a war looking for an excuse. Any excuse, real or imagined, or staged.

With the upcoming debate on whether to invade Syria, Congress finally has something to dig its teeth into. They’re no longer screwing around with 2000-page bills they never read. This one is simple: should we fire the death-dealing missiles or not?

Which is like asking a lion whether she’d rather spend the night sleeping on the ground or padding out to the hunt.

Suddenly, everybody has an objective. It’s defined. It’s real. It’s on the table. The palate is cleansed, ready for the taste of blood.

We’re in the Circus Maximus.

Exit From the Matrix

As time goes by, the federal government becomes less and less about enacting restraints on its own actions. That’s relegated to ancient history. Only a fool would work for the government and suggest cutting back on its power. He’d be trampled. The successful employee finds new targets to focus on. He gets out in front of the wave.

If you feel an urge to addle your own brain, pick up a copy of FDA or IRS rules and regs and start reading. You soon realize that you’re familiarizing yourself with details of repression and warfare.

You’ll have a similar experience if you read the DSM, the bible of the American Psychiatric Association, a group which is essentially a government partner. In their fabricated war on mental illness, psychiatry arrives at the inevitable conclusion that all human behavior is a disease. Note that the NSA reaches a parallel conclusion.

The lion on the plain may wander around for a while, but as soon as she spots a target, all extraneous behavior ceases. She crouches and stares. Life now makes perfect sense. It all comes to this. The launch.

In Orwell’s 1984, the continuing war against the enemy is the lynchpin of the whole society. There is no way to confirm any of the war’s details. All that matters is the mobilizing of emotion.

As with all such psychology, there need to be rationalizations for insane actions. I could compile a familiar list, but I’ll just mention one old stand-by. John McCain, who has surpassed even Joe Biden in bumbling, mumbling, and stumbling, just voiced it:

[Not going to war in Syria] would undermine the credibility of the United States of America and the President of the United States of America.”

Ah yes. “Undermine the credibility of.”

In other words, despite the progressive disappearance of solid evidence that Assad used chemical weapons on his own people, the die has been cast. The President has said the evidence is clear. Therefore, the US must attack. Otherwise, no one would believe in our ability to tell lies and back them up anymore. And that would be catastrophic and tragic.

Top 9 real reasons to go to war in Syria

The top 9 real reasons to go to war in Syria

by Jon Rappoport

September 4, 2013

www.nomorefakenews.com

In no particular order:

One: Give the appearance of unifying the country behind the President, who “did his job the right way,” by going to Congress for approval. This elevates Obama’s ratings and, by inference, suggests that his other programs should be accorded more merit. A wartime president always gains more support.

Two: Give the people an adrenaline rush. The effect should never be underestimated. Cleanses the pores, cleans the slate, and relieves frustration by proxy, temporarily…if you have very little access to your cerebral functions.

Three: In this case, winning Congressional approval reinstates the illusion, for a few moments, that we are a Constitutional Republic, with a government dedicated to justice.

Four: Help fulfill the long-planned US-Israeli agenda of destabilizing Syria and causing it to partition into warring and chaotic ethnic factions.

The Matrix Revealed

Five: Stop the construction of a natural gas pipeline across Syria, which would boost Iran’s economy by sending Iranian gas to Europe. Iran’s economy must be torpedoed.

Six: Send a message throughout the Middle East that the US is all-powerful and the dollar must remain the reserve currency in all oil transactions.

Seven: Feed the US military-industrial complex, which demands wars.

Eight: Aid the long-term goal of Globalism/Free Trade, which involves putting the entire Middle East into unresolvable debt and suffering…and then coming in with outside elite bankster financing, to rebuild the entire region and own it, lock, stock, and barrel.

Nine: Distract Americans from a number of scandals, including: Benghazi, Fast&Furious, IRS non-profit division crimes, NSA spying, the continuing failed war in Afghanistan, and a tanking domestic economy with more and more people living below the poverty line.

None of these reasons has anything to do with “punishing Assad for using chemical weapons.” In any case, that whole scenario has been thrown into extreme doubt.

Your government at work.
