Explosive: psychiatric diagnosis, Surveillance State linked

Explosive: psychiatric diagnosis, Surveillance State linked

Pay close attention to this one. It’s the future coming at you like a strong wind.

First, a bit of background. As my readers know, I’ve assembled conclusive proof that psychiatric diagnosis of mental disorders is a fraud. It’s pseudoscience. There are no defining lab tests. No definitive blood, saliva, hair, brain, genetic tests.

Instead, committees of psychiatrists meet and discuss arbitrary clusters of behaviors, group them and label them with “mental-disorder” names.

But diehards insist that one of the earliest and oldest disorders, schizophrenia, is the exception. That one is solid. That one isn’t pseudoscience. That one is the “gold standard.”

Wrong.

As fiercebiotech.com reports, “…Diagnosing schizophrenia relies on subjective methods…There is no single test for schizophrenia, so diagnosis typically involves observing symptoms and ruling out other potential causes for them…”

Want more? Fiercebiotch: “And while scientists have observed differences in brain scans of healthy people and those with schizophrenia…these are not currently used to diagnose the neurological disorder, according to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).” Not used because the brain scans aren’t precise or definitive.

Same old, same old. Committees of psychiatrists “observe symptoms” (behaviors) and invent rules for diagnosis of schizophrenia.

As usual, the public is the last to know.

Now, there is a new project afoot that aims to change the non-objective diagnosis, using MRI images of the brain. IBM and the University of Alberta are working on it:

Fiercebiotech (see also this press release): “The team used machine learning to create a model that identifies schizophrenia based on connections in the brain, IBM said. The fMRI data was taken from different sites, using different machines, but the algorithm could differentiate between the patients with schizophrenia and without 74% of the time.”

No one is popping champagne corks. This was a small pilot study using 95 volunteers. Typically, these projects die out when larger studies are done, because the results aren’t specific enough.

That’s why NO brain tests, for ANY so-called mental disorder, are labeled definitive in the psychiatric bible, the DSM, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual.

However, the computer boys and medical pros keep trying—and here is where the Surveillance State enters the scene in an ugly way.

Fiercebiotech: “Mindstrong Health, cofounded by former NIMH [National Institute of Mental Health, a federal agency] chief Tom Insel, is working on technology that analyzes smartphone data to determine a person’s mental state. The company’s tech collects information on which words are used, or a person’s location when using certain apps, for example, and turns them into objective measures of brain function. The company recently raised $14 million…”

“Meanwhile, Boston-based Akili Interactive and Pfizer reported data last year showing that a video game-based diagnostic test could distinguish between people with and without brain amyloidosis, a hallmark of Alzheimer’s disease. And PureTech’s Sonde Health is working on the analysis of ‘vocal biomarkers,’ or changes in nonlinguistic characteristics of a person’s voice, to indicate changes in health.”

To make a long story short: spy on everybody through their cell phones and computers, in order to diagnose them with ANY mental disorder.

The Surveillance State gets a new justification, and the psychiatric establishment gets to play Big Brother, “to protect us all” from mentally ill persons.

This research was kicked into a higher gear by Obama’s Brain Mapping Project, which he announced in the wake of the Sandy Hook school shooting. The Project is necessary, he claimed, to help prevent such future tragedies.

No, the Project is necessary to expand surveillance of the population, for the sake of control.

Psychiatric diagnosis, and the toxic drugging that follows, IS a form of control.

“Well, we have a red-flagged subject in Boston who’s been using key words in his cell phone calls, and the non-linguistic pauses and voice inflections indicate he’s demonstrating a schizoid pattern. According to outlined procedures, we need to step up surveillance on him, do a deep check on his financials, quietly interview a few of his friends and co-workers, determine his voting record, find out what groups he belongs to. He’s a college professor. He teaches American history. Do we have anything on how he interprets the Founding Fathers, the Constitution…oh look, he seems to be making statements about the need to return to limited central government…we’ve got a live one, guys. Get busy…”

Diagnose the prof with schizoid tendencies and put him on an anti-psychotic drug, which will sink him into a brain haze and slow down his motor reflexes, at minimum.

Psychiatry and the Surveillance State:

Kissing cousins.

It seems to me that the only REAL “science” mankind has is mathematics. It is the only one that isn’t based on someone’s opinion. Great work as always Jon..

BTW – in a pre-presidential election interview on my radio program (thanks again – BTW) you said that IF Trump were to be elected the established politicians would stall, block, and do everything in their power to prevent him from succeeding. You NAILED it –

Quoting: “This research was kicked into a higher gear by Obama’s Brain Mapping Project, which he announced in the wake of the Sandy Hook school shooting. The Project is necessary, he claimed, to help prevent such future tragedies.”

There was no Sandy Hook shooting, as Obama was no doubt fully aware. Had he volunteered to be his Brain Mapping Project’s first test subject, the various squirming nematodes living between his ears might have been identified and removed, thus helping to prevent the tragedy of future crisis-actor staged false flag operations. But politicians always exempt themselves from the barbaric thuggery they impose on us commoners, so Obama’s cranial worms remained safe and healthy. As did subsequent bogus ‘lone nut’ and ‘terrorist’ events.

Search for the manifold interviews of Ole Dammegard to confirm this.

I always ask two questions of strangers I meet. First, “When I say ‘Building 7,’ do you know what I’m probably referring to? Second, “Do you know approximately how many children died at Sandy Hook?” Their answers indicate the level (i.e. possible lack) of credibility of their sources of information, but more than that, also give a pretty good indication of whether they’re too far behind to ever catch up with reality.

  5. You are getting scarier by the moment!

It might be instructive to map the brains of Mr. Obama and all of the other elected High Priests inside the beltline – and we would demand Complete Transparency, all in the interests of *science* of course.

Star Neuroscientist Tom Insel Leaves the Google-Spawned Verily for … a Startup?

“Add another high-profile departure to the list of people leaving Verily, the Google-spawned health science company: Thomas Insel, a neuroscientist and former head of the National Institutes of Mental Health who was leading Verily’s mental health initiatives. After barely a year and a half, Insel is joining a startup called Mindstrong, aiming to come up with technologies to diagnose and treat mental disorders.”

I have a brain disorder. I keep thinking that there is some decency in government left, and yet, they keep disproving that and making me feel stupid. Is there any hope for me, doc? And I expect courts to follow all those law books and procedures and yet they ignore them and do what they want. Am I insane? Don’t answer that. I might not like the truth 😛

  9. Grant says:

I’d love to know who attends these “committees of psychiatrists” that pull these new mental disorders out of nothing. The thing I wonder about is when is the government going to try their next ‘mandatory’ vaccine or some other mandatory requirement. Something like a mandatory mental evaluation and blood (DNA) sample every 4 years just to be able to keep your drivers license or maybe every employer is required to do the same for every new hire. Then the info gets sent to the National Institutes of Mental Health, the CDC and god knows to where else or to who?

Are these things right around the corner? Or are they already here? What similar things like these and in Jon’s article are already being done to us without our knowledge?

  15. Fred Olsen says:

If you want to be a leader, we shall require a conscience.

It’s fairly well accepted that an fMRI can detect the physical brain structures posessed by persons with NO CONSCIENCE, i.e. psychopaths/sociopaths. Dr. Kent Kiehl did the pioneering fMRI work with known psychopathic prison inmates over 20 or more years. I highly recommend his book THE PSYCHOPATH WHISPERER, which tells the story of his research.

I support using whatever reliable methods we have of identifying psychopaths (1 in 24 people) so that they can receive the increased socialization that can help them function normally without victimizing the rest of us. We should start with people who occupy positions of responsibility in government, military, intelligence agencies, science, finance, large organizations and business in general. How much disaster and heartbreak can we avoid? Pick up a newspaper and glance at the headlines.

If you want to be a leader, we shall require a conscience.

    • Allan Howard says:

Excellent Fred! Our reality, and our collective history, would be totally different but for them. They are a completely different breed to the rest of us: War-mongering, hate and fear-mongering, manipulating, devious, duplicitous and completely devoid of emotions and integrity. My theory is that they were once upon an evolutionary time our defenders and protectors (when we lived in tribal communities), then, as time went by, some of the cleverer ones began to realise how they could manipulate the others for their own benefit, and so it evolved. Then again, maybe they really are just a completely different breed.

    • artemisix says:

They will find a way to cheat….better to design a culture that discourages and disables psychopaths from position of power. This has already been done in fact. Look at what the history books HIDE… and you will find it…….

      • Fred Olsen says:

        >>>”better to design a culture that discourages and disables psychopaths from position of power. This has already been done in fact. “<>”They will find a way to cheat”<<<

That's a poor and illogical reason not to identify psychopaths to help them and protect ourselves. Can you explain how someone is going to cheat an fMRI test? It isn't a chemical / biological test like a drug test — though that's what we should be working for — a cheap and easy test. Chem / bio tests are getting better all the time, not worse. Cheating isn't going to happen on a wide scale. Just because we might not ID all of them isn't reason NOT to ID as many as we can.

The old "if it isn't perfect, it won't work" argument doesn't work with me, or at all. It is a logical fallacy.

        • Fred Olsen says:

          >>>”better to design a culture that discourages and disables psychopaths from position of power. This has already been done in fact.”<<<

Are we living on the same Earth? Here it seems we have a system that rewards psychopathy with poor safeguards. So… we need better safeguards, and being able to identify and socialize psychopaths seems to me a good start at safeguards.

Please yell me how on YOUR planet you have a culture that discourages and disable psychopaths? In our last presidential election we had a race between a Democratic Party Psychopath and a Republican Party Psychopath. A psychopath won the election, but that was predictable even before the race started, based on history.

It goes the other way, also, and has for a while. Use the notion of already having a mental disorder as part of the excuse to spy on someone. However the Homosexual/Lesbian “community” took it over in 1973 in a concerted coup taking a few steps and years to pull off.
Pretty much now it’s the most perverted inmates running the asylum in the realm of so called “psychiatry” and “psycholgy” financed by “Big Pharma/FDA+AMA”= all crooked and dangerous to the American public esp school children…

  20. Bunny says:

just wanted to add- the materialist mindset labels anyone who disagrees with them as mentally ill.
I have had some very wild paranormal experiences (probably many of you have as well) these occurred with at least one other witness, often more.
In trying to explain the difference between “spiritual” and “religious” to “skeptics” who insisted they were the same thing…i referenced seeing a ghost in broad daylight with two other people. The “skeptics” MMEDIATELY told me i was wrong and i was mentally ill. That would actually imply that all THREE of us witnesses were suffering from the same damn mental illness at the same exact moment. Honestly, i put up with a lot of materialist nonsense in graduate school (mathematics and physics) they pretty much ram that view down your throat even though it is philosophically self defeating and incoherent.
