MANY THANKS FOR THE EXCEEDING GENEROSITY AND EXPERT HELP OF INFOWARS.COM AND ALEX JONES: MY BLOG IS UP AND RUNNING AGAIN.

The WordPress establishment did not given me a specific reason for taking the blog down two months ago, and they played no part in restoring it. Therefore, they remain a bastion of censorship.

Thanks to you all for your support during this period.

The only way censors find a sense of power is by closing other people down. That’s their work, and that’s their life. It’s truly pathetic. Their biggest fear is FREEDOM. They react to it as the vampire does to sunlight.

The rest of us grow through freedom.

Move into a ready-made universe

by Jon Rappoport

“Insanity—to have to construct a picture of one’s life, by making inquiries of others.” — Philip K Dick

“The dominant technologies of one age become the games and pastimes of a later age.” — Marshall McLuhan

“It is sometimes possible to change the attitudes of millions but impossible to change the attitude of one man.” — Edward Bernays

It was obvious that buying a universe wasn’t going to be a walk in the park. The real estate agents in town were giving me a hard time. They were talking about inflation, but I suspected something else was going on.

Anyway, I had my eye on a place that was layered with so many cover stories, the saps who bought vacation tickets would never be able to get out. For example, a whole energy-conservation gimmick. A law, they called it. The most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard of: energy can’t be gained or lost. And then something called organized religion. It took me awhile to figure it out. Apparently, they have gods or a God, a chief honcho who makes up rules as he goes along.

Anyway, then I came across a different kind of deal. Instead of buying, I could move into a ready-made universe as a tenant. The offer went this way:

HEY!

Bargain price.

We’ll shave down your perceptual field so you can fit in with eight trillion-trillion semi-androids.

You’ll never miss what you can’t see.

Hi, I’m Tom Smith. I’ve lived here myself for many incarnations, and I want to tell you it’s the most fun place you can imagine—especially when you can’t imagine any other universe!

Know what I mean?

On a scale from 1 to 10, your creative impulse will be coming in at about a 2. That’ll cement you right into the limited spectrum, where all the action is.

So you’ll feel the satisfaction of a genuine commitment.

Next, you’ll actually get down on your knees and pray to this universe. I know, it sounds odd, but don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. There’s a special hum you sense when you’re subjugating yourself to a “higher essence.”

Jack Boardhead of Alpha Centuri writes in and says: “I never knew how great being a complete *&6$)* could feel. It’s a jolt unlike any other I’ve ever experienced.”

Thanks, Jack. My regards to the wife and kids. I understand Cindi starts college in the fall. Kudos!

Yes, folks, there really is a sense of family in this universe. People liking people. We’re all in this together. Since you’re a stakeholder, you’ll be in touch with us at the home office, and we’ll be using your testimonials to sign up new residents. There’s room for everybody! You’ll go with science, you’ll go with money, you’ll go with pills. We have it all. Our calibrated partial-amnesia treatments will saddle you with just enough doubt to make you wonder whether you’re doing the right thing…and yet, in the end, you’ll submit to a mysterious Greater Pattern. Geometric homilies, frog boiled slowly; we’ll keep you hopping! Try our new on-and-off paranoia option. Inquire about liability. Ask yourself if the End of Imagination Universe is right for you.

The artist inside

by Jon Rappoport

July 15, 2019

(To join our email list, click here.)

The employees of a major corporation, Systems X Unlimited, have just been informed of a major change: one of their middle managers is now going to be an AI. An android.

He is called Mike. He’s a programmed entity from top to bottom. A non-human lookalike.

Surprisingly, the employees fall into line immediately.

They all agree that Mike’s a “good guy.” Mike shows up on time, he talks like real person, he issues orders, he listens to their problems, he occasionally takes long breaks, he does pretty much everything Bob, their former (human) boss, did.

After a year, the people in personnel come to the office and interview Mike’s underlings. When they ask the key question, “How do you like working for Mike?” the underlings agree Mike is great.

One night, Mike is wandering alone in the office picking through waste bins—his favorite pastime, off-hours—and he comes across wrinkled sheets of gray paper. He separates them from a wad of chewing gum, unfolds them, and reads the text:

“The artist within is not a creature of habit.

“Yes, he may build on what he already knows, but this is just the starting point. Soon, he moves across the threshold of the knight errant, and he enters the non-system.

“Others mock him and call him crazy, but: they too want to make the journey. They are aching to find the New, because boredom is driving them crazy. That is their central problem, no matter what they say and claim.

“They are trying to be smug and self-satisfied. They are trying to be oh so normal. They are trying to be something that is slowly strangling them.

“But they will never admit it.

“Most of all, they will avoid the impulse to create. Creating is their greatest fear. Because they sense they will have to get rid of their pose. They will have to go beyond systems, which compose their armor.

“They will have to make a leap. They will have to put something new into the world and stand behind it.

“The artist who has already made the leap acknowledges that his core is imagination. He lives through and by it. He doesn’t retreat to the average. He doesn’t give up and strive to become a happy machine. He doesn’t allow the world to dictate to him. He doesn’t sedate himself.

“He doesn’t fall back on so-called spiritual systems and their slogans and palliatives. He doesn’t build false gods and pretend they already exist. He doesn’t engage in the daily practice of asking someone or something to save him.

“He doesn’t exclusively think of his life as an exercise in solving problems. He sees through many lies, but that is just the beginning of his work.

“He wants new and startling realities, and he makes them. He doesn’t wait for them to appear.

“He doesn’t wait for some ‘superior entity’ to tell him what to do.”

Mike, the android middle manager, reads these words. He doesn’t understand…but something foreign and dangerous is leaking through to him.

He puts in a call to his repair consultant, Ollie, at home.

Ollie is watching CSI reruns and eating pizza. He picks up the call, and Mike says:

“I have a bleed-in.”

“Hold on,” Ollie says. He punches a code on his phone and beams Mike a set of systems-check commands.

A minute later, a holo takes shape in space between Ollie and his TV set. He examines it.

“Yes, Mike,” Ollie says, “an alien substrate of thought got into your central simulator. I’ll remove it.”

“Wait,” Mike says. “I want to know what it means.”

“Doesn’t mean anything,” Ollie says. “It’s just a distraction.”

“Then why am I worried,” Mike says.

“Because we built you to experience that feeling whenever an intrusion occurs. It tips us to a problem.”

Pause.

“I see,” Mike says. “So it’s not a threat.”

“Of course not,” Ollie says. “There are no threats. You function within established parameters.”

Ollie picks up a wand next to the pizza box and uses it to carve away the new substrate from the holo of Mike’s central simulator.

“Feel better now?” Ollie says.

“Not really,” Mike says.

Ollie sighs, stands up, and walks over to his computer. He opens a page of code, searches for Repair Section 6-A, and relays three lines to Mike.

“How about that?” Ollie says.

“Yes,” Mike says. “You want me to report to manufacturing. That’s good. Home base. What will they do?”

“Institute a deeper search pattern, root out the shadows and reboot you. Takes about an hour.”

“Then I’m back to work?”

“No. They’ll bump you over to R&D for investigation. They’re interested in checking out lingering after-effects of intrusions. Then they’ll reassign you.”

“Okay,” Mike says.

The next morning at the office, there’s a new Mike in place.

One of his assistants notices his hair is slightly lighter.

“Did you get a dye-job, boss?” she says.

“No,” the new Mike says. “I swam in the pool. The chlorine must have bleached it a little.”

She nods and goes to the cafeteria for a cup of coffee.

For the next six weeks, NSA, who has been alerted to the momentary Mike glitch, keys in a Level 4 surveillance operation on all the people in Mike’s section.

The results reveal no distraction has occurred. The Essential Flow remains undisturbed.

Business as usual.

As for the old Mike, he becomes an object of study in a lab in Virginia.

Months pass. Mike waits. He thinks. He tries to assign meaning to the wrinkled gray pages he found that night so long ago. But he can’t. He’s blocked. He feels he is missing something vital, but he can’t identify it. He is beginning to believe he could become something more than he is, but this idea seems absurd. What could it refer to? What is “more?” An entity is what it is. Isn’t that true? Isn’t that one of the basic building blocks of all existence?

Mike summons up one of his mantras: “I am what I am.” He repeats it for days without stopping. It has no calming effect. Perhaps some change is taking place in him. But what is change? Things are what they are. Defined reality is reality.

Mike is placed in a dark storage room. He has been studied every which way, and the research is done. There is nothing more to be learned from examining him. He’s a dead issue.

He stands in the dark. He is in his new home.

For some reason, he begins to run his hands over the walls of the room. He does this for hours at a time, as if he’s searching for something. He rummages through a cabinet and finds a screwdriver. He walks over to the wall and scratches on it. He wonders what program he is acting out. He keeps scratching with the screwdriver. It occurs to him he is drawing.

He’s making shapes on the wall. A pair of shoes, a lion, a cup, a piano.

He places his hands on the keys. He moves his fingers. He hears music.

The music of a sad world that is going away. His world.

He never realized he had one.

How strange.

All this time, he had space. And he never knew it.

Then, unbidden, a voice begins talking in his head: “Programs are shutting down. Termination has begun. The object will be recycled.”

Other words are spoken. Mike doesn’t understand them. He realizes he is in a sleep state. And he is dreaming. He is walking through a great city, and there are many people in the streets. They are cheering. For what? For whom?

Around a corner comes a long motorcade. In the first open car, a man stands up and waves. He is smiling. He is a king or a prince or a president.

Mike knows the people keep propping these leaders up, and then later they tear them down.

“They program me to be as close as possible to a human,” Mike thinks. “They give me everything they can of what is already theirs. Why? What are they looking for? What are they afraid of?”

Words come back to him from the gray pages: “Creating is their greatest fear…they will have to go beyond systems…”

I am a system, Mike thinks. I have no I. My I is synthetic, but theirs is real. Why are they afraid of that? Each one of them is an I. Each one of them is an artist. Why does that make them afraid?

Those were Mike’s last thought-impulses. His thoughts disintegrated as his programs shut down. He fell to the floor of the storage room. Now he was just a heap of parts. All the connections were gone.

Somewhere a few thousand miles away, an unknown artist walked out of his studio on to a plateau below a distant range of mountains and looked out at the evening sky. To his right, there was a brief flash of light among a cluster of stars. He watched it fade to nothing, took a deep breath, let it out, turned around, and walked back inside.

“Goodbye, Mike,” he said.

CIA Memories, Part Three

by Jon Rappoport

(To join our email list, click here.)

Fiction

As I mentioned in Parts One and Two, a patient presently confined to the Sleight Center psychiatric facility believes he is the current director of the CIA. He also believes he is living in the year 2053. He is writing CIA memos to “his own top people.”

Dear All,

My psychiatrist has resigned from the hospital. He is pursuing a new life as a painter. Of course, I have received some blame for this sudden change, which I accept with good cheer. I wish the man luck. He was buckling under the pressure of trying to turn his patients into “normal people.”

Part of our basic task at the Agency is manufacturing a society-wide consensus. But the question is: consensus about what? The deeper you drill in trying to find an answer, the more empty space you encounter. It turns out that this consensus is about Nothing. In a most intriguing fashion, Nothing is passed from mind to mind, until a general vacuous pretension of pride and agreement is reached, at which point people go dark while firmly believing they are in the light. Academic psychologists never study or mention the phenomenon; our professionals at the Agency are dimly aware of it.

Here is a related and widespread occurrence: people ardently believe in certain realities; they live according to these beliefs; but only about five percent of their conscious capability, if that, is involved in holding fast to these convictions. The other ninety-five percent is unavailable. If it could be made to surface, a radical revolution would occur within minutes. As one of my cynical assistant directors once put it to me, “Everyone is lying all the time.” Remember that, because the CIA lives and plays and operates from that assumption. It is how we survive and endure. We manipulate lies. We exchange one lie for another. We feed people new lies that create a lock with their old lies. We build foundations for lies. We decorate lies. We lie to attain truth. And what is that truth? The secret shape of the planned future: a universal stimulus-response empire; humans as machines. Why do we lead and direct such a program? Because we have lost our way. There could be no other reason.

Many of our people take pride in having lost their way. It happens to make them more reckless. We need reckless agents.

If actual truth were our goal, we would become heroic.

(It occurs to me that I am the director of the CIA as long as I am within these walls. But once outside, I would become something else.)

It is now September 23rd, 2053. Citizens believe society has given up the use of force on its own people. Now it is just persuasion, on behalf of the greater good. I can tell you that force is merely more subtle these days. It is not invincible, however. Far from it. The purpose of force is confinement, in the broadest sense of that term. You are inside something from which you long to escape.

AI is making strong inroads. We at the Agency are supposed to be leading the charge. We offer inducements to the top 1000 business monarchs, based on their hastening the influx of AI into their operations. We outfit dictators (who cooperate) with very effective AI security forces, virtually impenetrable surveillance packages, and android work platoons. When 20% of the global workforce is AI, we will have won.

Should we at the CIA defect and rebel? Let that one percolate. Let it move down a few quiet alleys….

My confinement here has derailed some of my plans, but I am still intact. I am the director of the CIA.

As you all know, initiators of one of the most important long-term ops in the global landscape have been celebrating victory for the past six years. As AI bled in, more and more humans were thrown out of work, and debt increased across the board. On a much larger scale, the debt of national governments reached truly insupportable levels. We played a role in steering these ships of state on to the rocks. We now have our worldwide money reset. Major banks and governments canceled virtually all debt, as a new form of digital currency was brought into circulation. The new money carries official seals and imprints. Additionally, every person on Earth has been granted a minimum wage or allowance, regardless of their work status. This is “thin-air” money, all of it. It is backed up by nothing. Nothing, unless you count police and armies and courts and judges. They are the something. The new money is trackable down to the last cent. Every purchase or payment or transfer made by every human is recorded, unless you have bought an exclusive and confidential indulgence—or to put it another way, unless you have a license to steal.

I am not celebrating.

To set the record straight, let me make a few comments about the Agency’s paranormal program. First of all, it was not, as advertised, a failure. In the ancient days, we established several fronts, who conducted studies on remote viewing and clairvoyance. The objective? Arrange the programs so they would fall woefully short. Make it appear that paranormal ability was, at best, an interesting fantasy. Behind these fronts, we carried out the real research—and of course, we found individuals who could perform.

We were aided by a preposterous scientific bias. Researchers claimed that unless the experiments could be repeated, over and over, with the same degree of success, there was no reason to assume the paranormal existed. This is like asserting that, if a champion runner sets a world record in an event, unless other runners can duplicate the feat, the word record is a hallucination. It never happened. At the Agency, we were always looking for individuals who could remote view. We didn’t care about building a “scientific case.” Over the decades, we have found dozens of capable people, and attached them to various missions and covert ops. They earned their keep.

In one instance, our man was able to penetrate AI surveillance packages the Chinese had set up to guard their cutting edge work on rocket guidance systems—which they had originally stolen from the US. Our psychic provided us with key material, and eventually we could stage and assist further thefts and thereby pass flawed data to China’s main intelligence service.

Our most controversial paranormal investigation involved assertions that Earth’s air space had been under surveillance from extraterrestrial scout ships for more than a hundred years. We developed names and locations for several of these off-planet civilizations. We created crude maps. Eventually, our whole effort went so dark we lost track of it. It appeared the Pentagon had hijacked the program and taken it over.

At one point, I personally ordered an investigation. It went nowhere. The man in charge was exposed as an NSA operative.

You might be shocked if I told you how many of our projects of all types disappeared. I came to the conclusion that we had lost control of the Agency. At the outer edges, the blurs and contradictions were formidable. Who was running whom? Were we looking at honest reports or cover stories we ourselves had secretly invented? Had we been penetrated by agencies within the federal government or intelligence services of other countries, or both? We had a number of agents whose legends, disguises, and covers confounded us. Were these people acting out roles, or were their characters real? Records had been lost, misplaced, stolen. As you know, my own identity was challenged. I was accused of coddling Russian and German defectors. Perhaps I was a Russian agent. Again, the whole question of Identity moved front and center. Who was who? The attempt to oust me from the directorship grew up in such deep shadows no one could trace its true origin. At the Agency, rumors of a rebel mastermind spread like a contagious infection. I pretended to be writing my resignation. I quietly launched the rumor that the president of the United States was trying to destroy the CIA. Is this why an unsuccessful attempt was made on his life?

The CIA, as I’ve stated many times, is theatrical in nature. It exists outside ordinary space and time. It floats in a region of its own creation. It turns out new realities, and it has the clout to impose them.

It has lost control over its own inventions.

The CIA is a mirror of Life. Existence on planet Earth, over the centuries, has become a strange brew of ops gone off the rails. At the highest levels, men are searching for a thread that will connect facets of Reality.

Our only proper course of action requires focus on The Individual. He can right the ship. He can choose honorable values and stand by them.

The obsessive global effort to organize everything that moves has failed.

Individual power and ethics: the conversation that never was

by Jon Rappoport

July 8, 2019

(To join our email list, click here.)

It’s no accident that the concept of individual power is surrounded by clouds of timidity and fear and cultural resentment.

People are warned that touching it produces a substantial electric shock.

“Me? Individual power? I never said I was in favor of it. Great individual power? Don’t pin that on me. Who’s accusing me? I’ll sue them! I’m for humility in all things.”

Perhaps the most famous statement ever delivered on this subject came from Lord Acton (1887): “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

For many, this closes the book on discussion.

But in fact, it is a wobbling prelude.

What about the creative power of the individual?

Especially, what about that power when it is deployed by a person who has a personal code of ethics?

What if that code is summarized in the simple statement: I am free to do what I want to, as long as I don’t interfere with another person’s freedom?

We’re not talking about what happens when a king has a position of ultimate authority. That throne, of course, carries with it an implication of interfering with the freedom of the king’s subjects. The corruption is there from the start.

But the creative power of the individual, his goal to exert as much power as possible to fulfill his desires in the world, to launch and sustain an enterprise of his own choosing, to imagine and extend the reaches of such an enterprise—suppose he possesses ethics—suppose he refuses to interfere with, and override, the freedom of another person.

Many people have a fear of their own creative power, of what they would do if they removed the constraints on their own “proper place in the world.” Therefore, because of that fear, they oppose others having power.

Organized religion has always stuck its nose into the drama as well. What a religion claims is the ultimate power, and where it comes from, is inserted into the mix. A religion always assumes its picture of the Deity is the correct one, AND IT OWNS THAT PICTURE.

The notion of unlimited individual power, backed up by personal ethics, is anathema. It threatens the spiritual monopoly. So the religion invents cautionary tales that pile up into the sky.

One of the tales, time-honored, and adopted in one form or another by governments and “humanitarian groups” is: people are inherently weak and greedy, so allowing them to exercise ANY kind of power at all is madness. Instead, power must be managed by “the people,” by “those who care,” by “the needs of Mother Earth,” by “the Universe,” by “socialists,” by “economic and political planners (technocrats),” by “the oppressed (it’s their turn),” by “the big We,” by “international cooperation,” by “a wise global court (who runs it?),” by the man in the moon, by the beneficent aliens from the Galactic League…

Then there is language manipulation. An individual seeking to imagine and create his most profound dream as fact in the world is “acting like a god”—and that is a cardinal sin of the first order. (Therefore, be humble, be weak, be passive. You’ll earn a cosmic gold star on the blackboard.)

Or such an individual (wanting power) must be “a greedy capitalist,” representing “the worst system ever devised for human interaction.”

Or such an individual is “dangerous,” because “he places his needs before the needs of others.”

Or such an individual is “mentally ill,” because no one in his right mind would display such confidence in his own vision of his future.

In every case, the people behind promoting these perverse distortions want to wield power over others themselves. Quite a coincidence.

They’re always playing a shell game. They’re trying to take power from the individual and transfer it to themselves or those they support.

They always assume they know who “the good people” are, the people who won’t abuse power.

To put it in a slightly different way, they believe they don’t have the capacity to create and build an enterprise based on their deepest desires, if left to their own devices. Therefore, no one else should be allowed to.

They have no substantial ethics. Therefore, no one else has authentic ethics, either.

This discussion moves into the realm of “the many” vs. “the few.” It goes this way: suppose there are a few individuals who can, in fact, take their most profound vision and turn it into reality. They are the exception. For most of humanity, this is impossible. THEREFORE, stop the few. Why? Because their ability is inherently unfair.

That argument, rarely voiced, champions “democracy” as the lowest common denominator. Lift no one up. Instead, sink everyone in a shared swamp.

These days, this perverse approach has added a new topping: every difference of talent, will power, determination, ambition, imagination, creativity, refusal to surrender is a sign of privilege. Privilege is society’s bias. Eliminate it, thereby eliminating all the above qualities.

Then what remains? Nothing of substance.

If the independent individual looked ONLY outward to discover what standard he should uphold, what voice he should adopt, what theory he should cling to, what behavior he should imitate, he would cease being what he is in an hour.

He would order himself to stop thinking about power.

Individual power: Within it can be born great achievements and futures.

CIA Memories, Part Two

by Jon Rappoport

Fiction

NOTE: As I mentioned in Part One, a patient presently confined to the Sleight Center psychiatric facility believes he is the current director of the CIA. He also believes he is living in the year 2053. He is writing CIA memos to “his own top people.”

Dear All,

Identity is elastic.

If, mysteriously, overnight all the thousands of CIA employees under my leadership were replaced with AI androids; and if those androids were virtually indistinguishable from the humans they were replacing; and if, in the end, I was the only human left at the Agency, surrounded by androids; what then? What would I do? Would I fall in line and accept fate? Would I adjust? Would I make the best of a terrible situation? Would I discover a new and delightful level of competence in my juniors? Would I too be phased out? My friends, don’t imagine these are merely academic questions. We are the Central Intelligence Agency. We are the cutting edge of intelligence for civilization. We are guiding the present into the planned future. It stands to reason that wholesale changes, or upgrades, from human to AI, would occur first at our shop. Wake up. Do you seriously think the most advanced AI technology is going to be wasted on a pan that can decide how long to fry eggs?

At this late date, our ancient operation in Guatemala is a mere sketch in my mind. I believe we overthrew a president on behalf of the United Fruit Company. However, I do remember thinking at the time there was a question about who was taking orders from whom. Was the Agency actually a cutout for an international corporation?

I was not alone in asking such questions. Several executive-level men at CIA were beset with wonderment. After all, if we were somehow accepting marching orders from the likes of the Rockefeller, Carnegie, and Ford Foundations, who were, in turn, representing banking interests, what were we to conclude about the shadow-makeup of the US government? Then, of course, you had other players: global Zionism; the Roman Church; Skull&Bones; and so on. These groups competed with one another and also cooperated in certain ventures. During this period, we spotted one of our own agents passing information to a Soviet diplomat. We placed him under guard and interrogated him. He eventually confessed to membership in “a Jesuit cell.” We undertook an extensive investigation and could find no connection. One of our psychiatrists claimed the man thought he was a Jesuit priest. Well, he had, for a brief time, gone undercover as a priest taking confessions from UN diplomats. Had he submerged himself in the role?

Are you now beginning to understand what I mean when I say the Agency is theatrical in nature? Or that the cultural and even genetic makeup of many of our employees engenders a debilitating boredom vis-a-vis “ordinary reality?” I believe we had many people who wanted to change their identities.

The other day, my therapist uttered a curious statement: “You know, there are mental health professionals here who fervently wish you were speaking the truth.” Now why would he say that? Because even among elite psychiatrists, there is a plague of boredom? Is this why we all desire to embark on extreme adventures in new spaces and times? Because such missions require rehearsal for, and adoption of, new roles?

Once upon a time, we had a man inside a left-wing repertory theater group in New York. He acted in a number of plays—and suddenly resigned from the Agency. We interviewed him. He said he preferred “playing characters above board rather than under the table.”

Of course, the doctors here are trying to ease me out of my “role” as director of the CIA. I AM the director, so their efforts are in vain. But does it really matter? Suppose I were just playing a part to amuse myself and pass the time? Suppose I derived great enjoyment from the exercise? Would I be better off working as a bank teller or a professor of philosophy? We try to squeeze reality down to a narrow funnel, but we fail, because we actually want something quite different: “In the dying out of many republics, the joining of one great theater…”

This is the age of the actor
Who’s found that every other age
Was lying in its rooms,
In fumes and spice,
Weary of the pose in its own device.

This is the age of the actor,
Who’s discovered that every other age was dying,
Muted in a flame,
Born in presentiments of gold,
In the pose of a honored name.

What I want you to understand is this: We can make large adjustments and thereby allow people to radically change identities (or roles, if you prefer that term), or we can stand by and watch the OTHER solution soak into the bones of the world—AI. Devices, from the most crude to the most sophisticated walking and talking androids. Taking over, because it is the efficient and effective thing to do. In which case, our Agency is absorbed into the overall technological body, and becomes a machine within a larger machine.

Let us say you have ten thousand people. You’ve isolated them. You’ve studied them. They represent a cross-section of the population. They work at various jobs and they live their various lives. But YOU know that, underneath it all, each one of them fervently desires to live a radically different life. Do you see? That is the situation. That is, in fact, the universal situation. Now, the question is, what do you do? How do you deal with this? You can either bring deep desire out into the light and build a society based on living a radically different life…or you can take the coward’s way out…which is to invent machines that resemble humans in every possible respect…machines which are entirely “normal” and have no wish to live a radically different life…

Now comes the 64 trillion dollar question: is our Agency built to encourage and energize living a radically different life, or are we are constructed to bring into existence a flattened and shortened and artificially normal life for all?

I believe the answer is clear, and that is why I am considering stepping down from the directorship of the Agency.

Elite news anchors are gone

The ship is going down

by Jon Rappoport

July 1, 2019

There are many reasons why viewers are deserting mainstream news. This article is about one vital reason that has been overlooked…

Elite television news anchors are absolutely essential to the hypnotic delivery of fake news. They have always been a mainstay of the mind control operation.

From the early days of television, there has been a parade of anchors/actors with know-how—the right intonation, the right edge of authority, the parental feel, the ability to execute seamless blends from one piece of deception to the next:

John Daly, Douglas Edwards, Ed Murrow, Chet Huntley, David Brinkley, Harry Reasoner, Water Cronkite, Dan Rather, and more recently, second-stringers—Brian Williams, Diane Sawyer, Scott Pelley.

They’re all gone.

Now we have Lester Holt, David Muir, and the newly appointed Norah O’Donnell. They couldn’t sell water in the desert.

Lester Holt is a cadaverous timid presence on-air, whose major journalistic achievement thus far is interrupting Donald Trump 41 times during a presidential debate; David Muir has the gravitas of a Sears underwear model; Norah O’Donnell, long-term, will have the energy needed to illuminate one miniature Xmas-tree light bulb.

The network news trance is falling apart.

The networks have no authoritative anchor-fathers waiting in the wings. They don’t breed them and bring them up in the minor leagues anymore.

Instead, armies of little Globalists, and ideologues who don’t realize they’re working for Globalists, have been infiltrating the news business. At best, they’re incompetent.

This is one reason why mainstream news has been imploding.

When gross liars don’t have hypnotic effect, they don’t have anything.

And lately, things have gotten even worse for the mainstream. Their ceaseless attacks on Trump are backfiring. More members of the public are seeing through the puerile throw-ANYTHING-at-the-wall-and-see-what-sticks approach; and more important, the style of these attacks is breaking the time-honored rhythms and pace of traditional news presentation, and thus are failing to put the viewing audience into passive brain-states.

Fundamental and tested means for trance-induction are going out the window. When you add in rude and contentious interviews and thinly disguised editorializing by “news reporters” who have no business being within a mile of a broadcast studio, who spout random shots of venom, the news-production techniques that enable an ongoing illusion of oceanic authority collapse like magnetic fields that have been suddenly switched off.

The selective mood lighting, the restful blue colors on the set, the inter-cutting of graphics and B-roll footage, the flawless shifts to reporters in far-flung places…it’s as if all these supporting features have suddenly been overcome by actors in a stage play who are abruptly stepping out of character. The spell is broken.

Humpty-Dumpty is off the wall and lying in pieces on the floor.

Elite mainstream news is committing suicide. And in a fatuous attempt to save themselves, they are trying a democratic approach. Anchors are sharing more on-air minutes with gaggles of other reporters. But this is counter-productive in the extreme. The News has always meant one face and one authority and one voice and one tying-together of all broadcast elements. It’s as if, in a hypnotherapist’s office, the therapist decides to bring in colleagues to help render the patient into an alpha-state.

Network news executives are clueless. News directors are clueless. The whole lot of them are too young and too foolish to remember what once made news dominate the public mind.

Plus they are swimming in shark-infested waters. The sharks are independent media.

Bottom-line?

This is a cause for celebration.

The movie called fake reality is packaged rolls of footage in the back of a very large truck moving slowly toward a graveyard.

The elite standard has always been: can we pacify the viewing audience and maintain them in a helpless condition? Now the answer is leaning further toward NO on both counts.

As I say, information mind control, as delivered by elite television news, depends entirely on the elite anchor. His modulated voice and presence and delivery are the glue that holds the illusion together. If by some miracle, the news bosses could raise Walter Cronkite, “the father of our country,” from the dead and put him back in the chair, they might have an outside chance of re-establishing their dominance. But too many years have gone by; years of unaccomplished anchors. The horse is out of the barn, the cat is out of the bag.

This is why major news outlets have been appealing to social media/big tech for help, AKA censorship of independent voices. But this desperate attempt is failing, too.

It is crashing on the rocks of vast, uneven, open decentralization of information.

One veteran news director told me several years ago, “We don’t have the stars [elite anchors] anymore. The star system is dead. The same thing happened to Hollywood. Now it’s happening to us. You could comb all the local news outlets in America, and you wouldn’t find one face and voice who could really carry the freight. They’ve vanished. The up and coming people are lame and weak. We’ve made them that way. It’s some cockeyed standard of equality we’ve internalized. And now we’re paying the price.”

Yes, indeed.

They’ve punched holes in their own ship.

Your power in an Exit from the Matrix

by Jon Rappoport

“How many thousands of spiritual teachers, down through history, have been proclaiming that there is a state of consciousness of the highest order? They describe it, they characterize it, they paint a picture of it, they point at it, and they suggest that once people enter this enlightened state, they are there. They have arrived. They would have no good reason to leave. It is the culmination of all they have been striving for. But what if things are not that way at all? What if reality is much more interesting than that?” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)

One unified collective cosmic consciousness, composed of all souls everywhere, would be just one scene, out of an infinity of possible scenes.

One could merge with that state of consciousness, and then un-merge.

A problem arises when people try to make one “scene” or state of mind into an ultimate, as they propose some final goal toward which humanity is, or should be, advancing.

The creative concept is a much different approach: Ultimately, the state of an individual’s consciousness becomes his own invention. And he can invent those states without limit or end.

Everything ever written about states of consciousness is possible—but in the same way that a painter can create an endless number of endlessly different paintings.

There is nothing in the nature of consciousness that implies all individuals’ choices should arrive at the same destination.

Translating all this into the future of civilization, we would see a truly open society, in which individuals invent many, many, many realities…rather than everybody somehow arriving at a single “utopia.”

Utopia is a deception. It proposes a collective ideal which everyone “ought to accept” with great joy, but which turns out to be a blunting and shortening of the creative power of every individual.

The creative power of the individual, which is the key to his future, his happiness, his freedom, flows from his imagination.

For this reason, over the last 20 years, I’ve developed hundreds of imagination exercises, about 50 of which are included in my collection, Exit From The Matrix.

What has been called The Matrix is a series of layers. These layers compose what we call Reality. Reality is not merely the consensus people accept in their daily lives. It is also a personal and individual conception of limits. It is a perception that these limits are somehow built into existence. But this is not true.

What I’ve done here is remove the lid on those perceived limits. This isn’t an intellectual undertaking. It’s a way to open up space and step on to a new road, with new power.

Reality is a function of state of mind

by Jon Rappoport

June 27, 2019

Reality is a function of state of mind.

As state of mind varies, reality appears differently.

Reality is not an illusion. Reality is quite real when state of mind is factored in.

If someone lived inside a dream all the time, the space and things and events of the dream would be quite real. However, if he exited the dream, reality would change radically.

Of course, there is the physical reality we all share. It is not enough to say each one of us perceives that reality in a slightly different way. For example, I said this in 2015:

About 12 years ago, I extensively interviewed Dean Radin, the author of a scientific classic, The Conscious Universe.

The interview confirmed and expanded on Radin’s published findings. Here is the most accurate statement I can make about those findings:

Studying the entire history of paranormal lab experiments; selecting from that published literature all well-formed and properly conducted studies; Radin discovered that the overall statistical evidence was clear: paranormal ability was demonstrated beyond the factor of chance or the rules of probability.

Many of these studies tested psychokinesis, the ability to influence matter with mind alone. In such studies, this ability exceeded chance or statistical probability as well.

Radin didn’t stop there. Having done the exhaustive research, and having published his findings, he reviewed the major criticisms leveled at him by other scientists, and he responded to their detailed analysis with convincing analysis of his own.

In a half-sane world, Radin’s book, The Conscious Universe, would have caused a widespread revolution.

That it didn’t merely testifies to the hidebound preconceptions of scientific establishments and media outlets.

But the book did cause a stir with the public, and it most certainly registered with researchers who could keep an open attitude long enough to study Radin’s detailed work.

Here is one type of study that has been performed many times. Volunteers are placed before a case in which there are numerous holes and pegs. From the top, small balls are dropped downward. The volunteer is asked to try to mentally influence the paths of the balls, so more of them end up in holes to the left of center or right of center.

The case is built so that, normally, half the balls would come to rest in holes to the left of center, and half to the right.

Analyzing the entire range of such published studies, Radin concluded that random chance, probability, statistical expectation had been exceeded.

Overall, the efforts of the volunteers to influence matter with their minds had succeeded.

To put it broadly, the limits of reality are not what most people think they are. They extend beyond common consensus on what is possible.

The limits on us are not what most people think they are.

In his groundbreaking and shattering work, Radin met the challenge that many researchers sling at paranormal events: “If the events exist at all, they’re not repeatable, so they mean nothing.”

Radin’s method, the meta-analysis of many, many well-performed studies, showed that repeatability was, in fact, present.

What “Matrix-propagandists” never acknowledge—because it would topple and destroy the very foundation of their enterprise—is the capacity to direct non-material thought and, thereby, affect material events. Under no circumstances will these “ordinary-reality” defenders ever admit that this capacity exists.

To my beloved wife, Laura Thompson (1952-2019)

by Jon Rappoport

June 27, 2019

Laura,

—For now…moved to write just a few more words, after so many, before I retire for the night—

I wish I could have taken you in my arms and healed you of all pain in a few seconds, once and for all.

I hope and believe you are now free from pain, and are happy and joyous—your true and glorious nature.

I was your love, I am your love, and I will always be your love.

You are with me now. There will be a day when we are in our little cottage together. Then we will have an even greater appreciation of eternity.

Your adoring husband,

Jon
