The Threat of Poems

Poems. The threat of poems.

A literal mind wants literal reality. It wants language laid down like a perfect grid over the world as it is. If you give a literal human something else, he suddenly pulls up his horse, jumps off, and runs back in the direction he came from. He’s stage-struck, and not happy at all about his little jaunt in the high country.

People say they want to experience what is outside the reality machine, but when you give it to them they object. ‘That’s not what I meant.’ They actually want something that looks and sounds and feels like ordinary reality. They want the method and the system of ordinary reality with a few odd tidbits thrown in. If you move to another arena of harmonics and dissonance, where the interstitial connections radically change—poetry—they balk. They wanted to go in orbit around the Earth, all the time looking down on it, and you took them to an X frontier on an unfamiliar shore where the moon was moored in the dock.

Shivering in the green water,
Wriggling in the net of desperate oxygen,
Rolling prisoners,
Foam falling from their bodies…

Summer nights
I sat on the front porch with my mother
Rhododendrons were thrashed by slow comets of rain

These are the letters of my ancient fathers,
And these are the letters of the roses
Blowing across the rolling apparatus
That moves the sun,
Shining through old windows
On old men.

Now they shake off the rime
And stagger up from their trench.

They form a subconscious moon

They enter a sleeping shepherd boy near his flock,
To repair the damage of centuries.

What has been called The Matrix is a series of layers. These layers compose what we call Reality. Reality is not merely the consensus people accept in their daily lives. Human psychodrama on the world stage: Power Outside the Matrix

Emerging from the dead-end

As the drama called Human Life on Planet Earth advances in the 21st century, we are seeing an escalation of lower-brain emotional responses to events. And this is according to plan.

I want to emphasize the underlying propaganda message. It’s very important to understand that message:

“As more and more people are unable and unwilling to employ logic and rationality, those qualities diminish in importance, and you should abandon them because…they don’t serve you. They aren’t useful.”

You can see where this would lead. More and more people would surrender to their own stimulus-response mechanisms, and the overall level of chaos would increase and expand.

There is no situation in which you should abandon your own ability to employ reason and rationality, no matter what other people are doing. Their surrender should not become an excuse for you deserting your own power on any level.

The two most formidable individual powers are logic and imagination.

Logic is essentially grounding and stabilizing. It allows you to analyze any situation or cluster of information and see through to its validity or invalidity, beyond deception.

Imagination takes you soaring. It allows you to see your greatest vision for your life—and therefore act toward its fulfillment.

Others around you may be succumbing to their own misperceptions and lack of energizing spirit—but that doesn’t mean you have to.

And as an aside, if you decide you want to help those you care about and lift them up, try doing it without logic and imagination and see how far you get.

All this is preface and prelude. It occupied me for more than a decade of research and investigation, as I saw the human psychodrama entering a new phase. Its hallmark was random emotional reaction.

Nothing wrong with emotions, but entering a space where they take you from pillar to post, sucking up and draining energy, while producing no visible progress along the line of fulfilling goals…that’s not a good thing at all. It eventually ends up paralyzing the individual, who retreats from his most profound ambitions.

This was the setting in which I developed my third collection, Power Outside The Matrix. Here is a description of its contents:

Medical destruction: It’s not just a conspiracy theory

We’re now living in a time of accusations. A public official or mainstream press outlet doesn’t like what they’re hearing, and they say, “Well, that’s just another conspiracy theory.”

And then know-nothing people breathe a sigh of relief and move on. “Thank goodness THAT’S NOT REAL.”

If enough authorities repeat “conspiracy theory,” the truth goes begging.

In this case, the facts have arrived. What’s missing is widespread knowledge of those facts. The mainstream press is a cover-up operation

Some people are just waking up to medical destruction, by way of news on the opioid epidemic (my article archive on Opioids is here).

They’re late to the party, but that’s all right. They can catch up.

Here are a few horrific “catch-up” quotes. I’ll discuss the source afterwards:

“…appropriately prescribed prescription drugs are the fourth leading cause of death…About 330,000 patients die each year from prescription drugs in the US and Europe.”

“They [the drugs] cause an epidemic of about 20 times more [6.6 million per year] hospitalizations, as well as falls, road accidents, and about 80 million [per year] medically minor problems such as pains, discomforts, and dysfunctions that hobble productivity or the ability to care for others.”

“Deaths from over medication, errors, and self-medication would increase these figures.”

In other words, the 330,000 deaths per year, the 6.6 million hospitalizations per year, and the 80 million “medically minor” problems per year…all of this stems from CORRECTLY PRESCRIBED medicines.

The quotes come from the ASA [American Sociological Association] publication called Footnotes, in its November 2014 issue. The article is “The Epidemic of Sickness and Death from Prescription Drugs.” The author of the article is Donald W Light.

Donald W Light is a professor of medical and economic sociology. He is a founding fellow of the Center for Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2013, he was a fellow at the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard. He is a Lokey Visiting Professor at Stanford University and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine.

It’s been my policy to quote medical analysts who have mainstream credentials, when it comes to adding up the results of medical-drug destruction.

I do this to show that, in refusing to fix the holocaust, the federal government, medical schools, and pharmaceutical companies can’t claim their critics and detractors are “fringe researchers.”

Believe me, the officials who should have been fixing the enormous tragedy for at least the past 15 years are intent on hiding it.

When you stop and think about the meaning of these medical numbers, one of the things you realize is: this massive destruction of life envelops whole countries.

It not only maims and kills, it brings emotional turmoil and loss to the families, friends, co-workers, and colleagues of those who are killed and maimed: the 330,000 who are killed and the 6.6 million who are hospitalized and the 80 million whose productivity is hobbled or whose ability to care for others is significantly diminished.

If you consciously set out to bring a nation to its knees, to kill it, to disable it, to make it unable to function at any reasonable level, you would be hard pressed to find a more effective long-term method than exposing the population to the US/European medical-drug cartel.

Scuzzball Twitter Inc.

Apparently, Mitch McConnell doesn’t support more restrictive gun control. Therefore, protests…

Earlier this month, The Washington Post and other outlets reported that Twitter has locked Senator Mitch McConnell’s re-election Twitter account, until he deletes a video showing protesters outside his house shouting threats.

(Update: After politcal pressure from Mitch’s campaign and some of his supporters, Twitter has since unlocked the account and restored the tweet. “It shouldn’t have taken an avalanche of outrage from across the country to stop Silicon Valley from launching an effort to silence conservatives like the majority leader of the United States Senate in the first place,” said Kevin Golden, Mitch’s campaign manager in a statement.)

One of those protesters was identified, by the Courier Journal, as a Black Lives Matter member, Chanelle Helm, who shouted, “Just stab the mothefucker [McConnell] in the heart, please.”

Twitter, which makes no attempt to curtail the phrase “massacre Mitch” on its platform, had wanted the McConnell video taken down because it “violated our violent threats policy, specifically threats involving physical safety…”

How much bullshit does Twitter think it can get away with? Apparently, a mountain of it.

The “violent threats policy” is aimed at individuals or groups that promote their attacks as a way of gaining advocates and publicizing their actions. THIS video was posted by McConnell, who was the TARGET of a violent threat. Anyone who fails to see the difference should redo their education, starting with the first grade.

Let’s see. Suppose a hundred people gathered outside the headquarters of the FBI and shouted violent threats against the Bureau? And suppose the Bureau posted a tweet about it with video? Do you think Twitter would lock the FBI’s account?

Suppose a few people stood outside a building where Barack Obama was giving a speech and shouted violent threats at him, and suppose a Twitter user posted video of THAT? Do you think Twitter would suspend his account?

Twitter’s initial ruling in the McConnell situation implied that any posted video urging violent action anywhere in the world in any context should be deleted. Such video couldn’t possibly be news. It couldn’t possibly be a response from a target of violent threats. No. Such video is a “violation of standards.”

Actually, Twitter Inc. is violating a standard that any reasonable person would advocate: DON’T DEFEND YOUR BIAS WITH HALF-COCKED LIES. DON’T CONTRIBUTE TO DESTROYING THE 1ST AMENDMENT.

Why hasn’t the History Channel been shut down?

As I pointed out in a recent article, mainstream media outlets are delivering conspiracy theories—at least by implication. Therefore, in light of the recent FBI “finding” that such theories can fuel violent terrorism, these outlets should be investigated, censored, blacked out, and de-platformed.

The History Channel would be a prime candidate.

In its series, Ancient Aliens, we are treated to the theory that John Kennedy was murdered to keep him from…here is the quote from the History Channel:

“Theorists propose the possibility that John F. Kennedy was assassinated in order to keep the truth about [extraterrestrial] aliens on Earth from getting out in this clip from Season 12, Episode 9, The Majestic Twelve.”

In the episode, this opinion is made clear: government players might well have carried out JFK’s murder.

Is the FBI now investigating the History Channel? Is the Bureau walking into History Channel’s office and confiscating show notes, memos, computers, and footage? At the very least, the Ancient Aliens series should be taken off the air, right?

Where are the politicians and CNN talk show heads in this conspiracy scandal? Millions of History Channel viewers are being subjected to the idea that the CIA killed Kennedy. How many unbalanced individuals, exposed to this inflammatory notion, have taken up anti-government positions, and how many have resorted to the use of weapons?

Of course, you and I and every other decent citizen want to fall in line with the FBI’s conclusion that conspiracy theories fan the flames of terrorism. Certainly. Absolutely. Definitely.

Therefore, let’s insist the FBI shut down the History Channel as soon as possible.

But wait. Oh. I see. Conspiracy theories forwarded by the mainstream are acceptable, but theories proposed by “outliers” are the dangerous ones. How convenient. Whew. Everything is OK. The structure is preserved. We have a standard of judgement.

Mainstream=good; dissenting individuals=evil.

Power Outside The Matrix: The individual radiating power

If you were to add up all the crises currently emerging around us, you would see that the individual is being “asked” to slide down into abject misery and defeat.

That must not happen.

The individual is the target because he potentially stands outside the system of mass control.

He has a mind. He can use it. He has imagination. He can conceive of better futures. He has creative-force. He can implement those undiluted visions of the future and make them into fact in the world.

Whereas, if he sees himself as nothing more than a cog in the machine, what is done to the machine is done to him.

In myths of the Knight on his journey, there comes a point where the Knight abandons the original mission and stands on his own, discovering what it is he most wants to achieve. The decision is his alone; he is no longer beholden to a master.

Through his capacity to explore and analyze the world, and through his creative-force, he becomes an architect of the future.

That was my intent in putting together my third collection, Power Outside The Matrix: equipping the individual for this journey, so he could take it with his potential restored.

And a world populated by unique individuals, not groups burdened with group-think? As improbable as this outcome may seem, it has been the vision of many, many artists, thinkers, and independent men and women down through history. It is still alive.

Lone shooters, terrorism, and semantics

This is a big one. It’s so big, in fact, that many people will want to turn their backs on it and pretend it doesn’t and couldn’t exist. But it’s real. It does exist.

No killing of innocent people can be called a “negligible statistic.” But what label do you apply when an entire government stands by and does nothing, while millions of people die?

A supposed lone shooter motivated by political ideology kills 20 people, and this is called a terrorist act. But what category do you apply when a government enables a monopoly that destroys millions of lives?

Don’t bother seeking answers from the mainstream press. They play dumb. They pretend to be clueless. They avoid these millions of deaths, as if they’re not worthy of news coverage.

Doesn’t that sound strange? The press, which constantly sniffs the air for stories that will rouse public interest, ignores a force that is routinely killing millions of people. Why? Because that very force pays huge sums of money to the press.

So let’s start here, with one of the most shocking mainstream reviews ever published in a medical journal. The date is July 26, 2000. The journal is the Journal of the American Medical Association. The author is Dr. Barbara Starfield, a respected and revered public health expert at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. Impeccable mainstream credentials up and down the line. Starfield’s review is titled, “Is US Health Really the Best in the World?” She concludes:

The US medical system kills 225,000 people a year. 106,000 deaths from FDA-approved medical drugs, and 119,000 deaths as a result of mistreatment and errors in hospitals.

Extrapolate those numbers out to a decade: that’s 2.25 MILLION deaths.

In an email interview I did with Dr. Starfield about a year before she died, I asked her whether the US government had undertaken any overall program to remedy this ongoing catastrophe, and whether anyone from the federal government had contacted her to consult on such a program. To both questions, she answered: NO.

Keep in mind that the US federal government, through agencies like the FDA, the CDC, and their parent agency, Health and Human Services, has extensive power over the US medical system. In fact, the FDA, through its routine manipulations and regulations, assures that the conventional mainstream medical system in America remains top dog; and competition from what has been called alternative or natural health is reduced as much as possible. It might interest you to know that, when a pharmaceutical company wants the FDA to review a new drug and certify it as safe and effective for public use, the pharmaceutical company pays a fee to the FDA. Dr. Starfield pointed this out to me. Therefore, in a real sense, the FDA works FOR drug companies.

I mention all this to make sure you understand that the federal government could, if it wanted to, undertake a sweeping investigation of the US medical system, from top to bottom, and face up to the ongoing of tragedy of millions of lives lost. The federal government could come down mightily on the medical system and do everything possible to eradicate this holocaust.

But the government doesn’t. It doesn’t do that. It stands by while millions die. Year after year after year.

I could cite other findings that back up Dr. Starfield’s published analysis, and I have, in other articles. Here, I’ll keep it simple. The government is entirely culpable.

Occasionally, I receive an email from a reader that goes this way: “I showed a friend your article and he said, what about all the lives the medical system saves? Why doesn’t Rappoport factor those in?”

To which I offer this. Suppose you created an invention—let’s call it X—which, for the sake of argument, we’ll assume saves many lives. But you also notice it kills many people—2.25 million people per decade. Would you simply stand back and assert that, on balance, you’re doing a fine job? Would you? Or would you do your very best to eliminate all those deaths, which are occurring as a result of your X? To put it another way, would you seek to be humane, or would you be a vast criminal?

As I started out, above, no killing of an innocent person is a negligible statistic, whether you call it an act of terrorism or something else. But what do you call it when the awesome power of an entire government is silent and passive, for decades, while the very monopoly it is enabling destroys millions of lives?

Depraved indifference? Negligent homicide? Manslaughter?

I call it mass murder.

“Jeffrey Epstein is alive”—a fictional scenario

One hypothesis: Epstein didn’t kill himself, he wasn’t murdered, he was ferreted away by his handlers and is alive…apparently, an increasing number of people believe this…

In my previous two articles about Epstein (here and here), I presented pieces of a circumstantial case indicating Epstein was an intelligence agent—Mossad/CIA. His job obviously would have involved accumulating tons of evidence on powerful influential men who were having sex with his underage girls. The blackmail value of that evidence would be enormous to his handlers in controlling those men.

If that was his job, suppose Epstein is alive now? Again, what follows is a fictional scenario. If you believe I’m trying to PROVE beyond a shadow of a doubt that the man is still alive, you’re either deranged or inattentive.

A MEETING—A PRIVATE ROOM SOMEWHERE IN ISRAEL

MOSSAD EXEC #1: Jeffrey’s in jail, but he’s feeling better. We’ve gotten word through to him that we’re doing everything we can

MOSSAD EXEC #2: Everything we can to accomplish what? We’re convinced he isn’t going to commit suicide. That leaves termination or we somehow get him out and take him away.

MOSSAD #1: Yes. Termination is easier, from a tactical point of view.

MOSSAD #2: You favor that?

MOSSAD #1: I don’t know. What are your thoughts?

MOSSAD #2: We don’t know where he’s stashed all his evidence against our targets. We may have most of it, but not everything. Jeffrey’s not what you’d call a careful agent in every respect. So we’d need to sit him down and go through every detail of his work, which would take a huge debrief. Months, if not years. For that, we need him alive.

MOSSAD #1: Understood. And there is also the fact that he’s ours. He’s done service for us for a long time. I don’t want to overlook that. I don’t want to throw that aside and say it doesn’t matter. We reward our own. He’s been loyal. The whole basis of our organization, since the beginning, has been loyalty.

MOSSAD #2: Let’s say we want him here, alive and well. Plastic surgery, the works. New ID, new legend, new life history down to the last dot. We HAVE prepared for that possibility. We have a double, just in case.

MOSSAD #1: Go over that for me. How good is the double?

MOSSAD #2: Quite good. We can take this double and put him in a coma. With drugs, we can approximate death. Or we can actually terminate him.

MOSSAD #1: But then we’d probably have to get him inside the jail so we can take him out. Not deep into the jail, but a short distance.

MOSSAD #2: We can arrange to have the video cameras shut off, and we can pay off the guards.

MOSSAD #1: There are other personnel we’d need to control as well. And that says nothing about how we actually get the real Jeffrey out of there. That would involve more personnel paid off. Or somehow substituted for. It’s a bit tricky.

MOSSAD #2: I know.

MOSSAD #1: Then there is the matter of the autopsy. The double’s DNA…

MOSSAD #2: We’ve got the medical examiner in our pocket. But if independent autopsies also take place, that could be a problem. And in any autopsy, a lot depends on who is allowed to stand around and watch.

MOSSAD #1: Many little problems. That’s why I have a surprise for you.

MOSSAD #2: Really? What is it?

MOSSAD #1: The man who is now in a cell in Manhattan awaiting trial? It’s not Jeffrey. It’s the double. The FBI arrested the double. We knew the arrest was going to happen, so we made the switch. And Jeffrey is already here with our people.

MOSSAD #2: Really? Fantastic!

MOSSAD #1: Yes. We chose our double well. He has a terminal disease. He has a family. He has no money. We promised him we’d take good care of his family. He’s going to commit suicide in his cell. That’s the deal. We’ve made a few payoffs that will allow the suicide to happen. We believe we can control the autopsies and switch DNA samples, if necessary…

END OF FICTIONAL SCENARIO

Readers can add details or make up their own scenarios.

Of course, after reading the above dialogue, some people may be less convinced, rather than more convinced, that Epstein is alive.

Jeffrey Epstein Out in the Open

NOTE: This article concerns the reporting of Vicky Ward. I’m not automatically assuming her key point is factual, especially since it relies on an unnamed source, who is telling her about a private meeting which the source apparently did not attend. If, however, we assume the key point is accurate…

In my previous piece on Epstein, I cited two articles outside the mainstream, which make a case for Epstein acting as an agent for intelligence services—Mossad/CIA. Obviously, his work would have involved gathering blackmail evidence on powerful men, who had sex with his underage girls. The value of this evidence, to Epstein’s handlers, would be enormous as a means of controlling those men…

I realize many people aren’t satisfied unless they see something in print from a more mainstream source. So let’s try the Daily Beast (7/9/19) and writer Vicky Ward, who has had an extensive career as a reporter and editor (Vanity Fair, NY Post, HuffPost, etc.)

In her Daily Beast article, “Jeffrey Epstein’s Sick Story Played Out for Years in Plain Sight,” Ward attempts to shed light on a moment in time when a strange twist occurred in the Epstein saga. It involved Alexander Acosta.

Alexander Acosta served as Trump’s Labor Secretary from April 28, 2017, to July 19, 2019, when he resigned. In his former job, as US Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Acosta made the shocking 2007-2008 sweetheart plea deal with Epstein, canceling any effort to convict him for sex trafficking of minors, and reducing the charge to solicitation of a 14-year-old girl. Epstein pled guilty and received a mild slap on the wrist.

Vicky Ward writes: “Epstein’s name, I was told, had been raised by the Trump transition team when Alexander Acosta, the former U.S. attorney in Miami who’d infamously cut Epstein a non-prosecution plea deal back in 2007, was being interviewed for the job of labor secretary…”

“’Is the Epstein case going to cause a problem [for confirmation hearings]?’ Acosta had been asked. Acosta had explained, breezily, apparently, that back in the day he’d had just one meeting on the Epstein case. He’d cut the non-prosecution deal with one of Epstein’s attorneys because he had ‘been told’ to back off, that Epstein was above his pay grade. ‘I was told Epstein “belonged to intelligence” and to leave it alone,’ he told his interviewers in the Trump transition, who evidently thought that was a sufficient answer and went ahead and hired Acosta. (The Labor Department had no comment when asked about this.)”

If all this is true, the word came down the line: Epstein had protection coming from intelligence agency players; and he, Acosta, dutifully knuckled under and made the phony plea deal with Epstein. In a blockbuster federal case for widespread sex trafficking. A case that was receiving wall to wall press coverage. But none of that mattered to Acosta, the hell with blowback, contrasted against the intelligence agency clout shielding Jeffrey Epstein.

If Vicky Ward’s source on this is correct, it’s quite possible it wasn’t just Acosta who was cowed and played ball with the higher power. The Trump transition team, who blithely accepted Acosta’s astonishing comment, also could have been following the same marching orders. The Trump team purposely chose Acosta for his new shiny job, as Labor Secretary, because they were told to reward him for his “outstanding work” in the Epstein case.

The transition team could have easily made a list of 20 people who could fill the role of Labor Secretary. But they picked out the man who gave astounding cover to Epstein.
