Power Outside The Matrix: The Free Individual Returns from the Dead

Freedom isn’t merely an idea. When an individual feels and knows he is free, all sorts of changes take place, even on a physical level:

Brain function increases and quickens. Endocrine levels optimize. The cells of the body awaken to a higher degree, and energy output rises.

From the point of view of the free individual, things are upside down. It is HIS power that is primary, not the monolithic corporate State’s.

From his point of view, what does the social landscape look like?

It looks like: THE OBSESSION TO ORGANIZE.

If you want to spend a disturbing afternoon, read through (and try to fathom) the bewildering blizzard of sub-organizations that make up the European Union. I did. And I emerged with a new definition of insanity. OTO. The Obsession to Organize.

OTO speaks of a bottomless fear that somewhere, someone might be living free.

People tend to think their own power is either a delusion or some sort of abstraction that’s never really experienced. So when the subject is broached, it goes nowhere. It fizzles out. It garners shrugs and looks of confusion. Power? Are you talking about the ability to lift weights?

And therefore, the whole notion of freedom makes a very small impression, because without power, what’s the message of freedom?

Every which way power can be discredited or misunderstood…people will discredit it and misunderstand it.

And then all psychological and physiological and mental and physical and emotional and perceptual and hormonal processes undergo a major downward shift, in order to accommodate to a reality, a space in which the individual has virtually no power at all.

It’s my aim to change all that. This is the basis of my work, and it has been, for the past 30 years.

Rising up against the Oligarchs does not equal socialism

There are “people’s” groups all over the world who advocate the overthrow of the men at the top —the Oligarchs—who control nations.

These people’s groups want to install socialism as the answer to Oligarchy.

That’s preposterous.

The Oligarchs—bankers, mega-corporate CEOs, financiers, government leaders, intelligence agencies—collude to cut out competition so they can stand alone at the summit of the mountain. And they call this arrangement SOCIALISM. They PROMOTE socialism. They’ve staked out OWNERSHIP of socialism worldwide.

In other words, the “people’s” groups, who claim to be battling for a better world, are doing the Oligarchs’ bidding. Unconsciously, or on purpose.

Useful idiots.

Socialism has never been about toppling power-hungry leaders. Its pretension of equality and share-and-care is a cover for totalitarianism by the few, for the few.

Karl Marx, while predicting a coming utopia on Earth, expressed the absolute need for a “transition” phase called the “dictatorship of the proletariat.”

Of course, that was a partial misnomer. The “dictatorship” part was correct, but the proletariat would never run it. They would labor for it. They would look up from ground level at the leaders who were supposedly their friends and guardians—and soon realize they’d been taken in by a long con. There was no transition government. There was just the same old Oligarchy under another name, that’s all.

From Gary Allen’s 1971 classic, None Dare Call It Conspiracy:

“We are being socialized in America and everybody knows it. If we had a chance to sit down and have a cup of coffee with the man in the street…he might say: ‘You know, the one thing I can never figure out is why all these very, very wealthy people like the Kennedys, the Fords, the Rockefellers and others are for socialism. Why are the super-rich for socialism? Don’t they have the most to lose…?’ In reality, there is a vast difference between what the promoters define as socialism and what it is in actual practice. The idea that socialism is a share-the-wealth program is strictly a confidence game to get the people to surrender their freedom to an all-powerful collectivist government. While the insiders [Oligarchs] tell us we are building a paradise on earth, we are actually constructing a jail for ourselves.”

When a mega-corporate CEO, whose company is in deep financial trouble, magically secures a giant loan through a crony, and when that corporation continues to pollute the land and destroy lives, and while the government agency that should be hauling off the CEO to prison sits on its hands, that’s socialism in practice. That’s the real thing.

The government may not officially own such corporations, as in the classical definition of socialism, but at the top, the government and the biggest corporations are cooperating, as one. It’s a distinction without a difference.

Why don’t more people understand all this?

Because their minds are clouded with propaganda and feel-good New Age oatmeal. Because they’re convinced that believing in something that sounds good on the surface (“a better and more just world for all”) is enough, is a pinnacle of achievement for them. And since they’re told this belief is socialism, they’re for it.

They will fall for any program on that basis. If pernicious medical experts assure them that mandated mass vaccination will protect the planet from disease, they will snap up that vision in a minute. “A healthy Earth for everyone.” It must be true. It feels right.

A while back, I published an astonishing statement made by the Mayor of New York, Bill de Blasio: “What’s been hardest is the way our legal system is structured to favor private property. I think people all over this city, of every background, would like to have the city government be able to determine which building goes where, how high it will be, who gets to live in it, what the rent will be. I think there’s a socialistic impulse, which I hear every day, in every kind of community, that they would like things to be planned in accordance to their needs. And I would, too…Look, if I had my druthers, the city government would determine every single plot of land, how development would proceed. And there would be very stringent requirements around income levels and rents. That’s a world I’d love to see, and I think what we have, in this city at least, are people who would love to have the New Deal back, on one level. They’d love to have a very, very powerful government, including a federal government, involved in directly addressing their day-to-day reality.”

The control of private property, from above, is of course one of the tenets of socialism.

Oligarchs, who promote their brand of socialism, who are also Globalists (no nations, no borders), want to sweeten their pot through floods of immigrants. No, they’re not thinking about “doing good.” They have propaganda operatives who spout that line.

They’re thinking about how they can blur and erase all sorts of distinctions surrounding private ownership of private property—and instead, disruptively resettle immigrants, make them dependent on the State, sink property values, and induce more and more citizens to accept the idea that “everything belongs to everybody.”

This gibberish phrase actually means: the Oligarchs own it all.

This is their premise and their goal.

They mean business, literally and figuratively.

On a much lower level, scratch the surface of any self-proclaimed socialist who happens own a home, and watch what happens when you demand he turn that home over to “the people.” He suddenly becomes a raw naked capitalist. He rails against the State.

The State—to whom, when the pressure is off, he claims every citizen should swear allegiance, so that money and property and services and goods and energy and every necessity and luxury of life can be managed, for the benefit of all.

The trial of John Doe vs. [Censored]

The trial took place in a quiet empty room, in an underground bunker, at an undisclosed location in [Censored].

The Judge sat behind a high table. John Doe stood below him.

Judge: You are John Doe? You have a website called Doe Doe?

Doe: Yes, Your Honor. May I know your name?

Judge: Of course. It’s Judge.

Doe: That’s your title.

Judge: It’s also my name.

Doe: You’re Judge Judge?

Judge: Correct. Now, let’s get down to business. You’re the author of an article you posted on your site. The title of the article was, “A Catalog of Sexual Assaults and Other Crimes Committed by Migrants in [Censored], 2015-2017.” The subtitle was, “Soaring Migrant Crime Rate Is a National Disaster—[Censored] Women Fear for Their Safety.”

Doe: Yes.

Judge: How did you assemble this “catalog?”

Doe: I cited articles in the [Censored] press. I obtained access to police reports in [Censored]. I interviewed over two hundred citizens and their families. I interviewed law-enforcement officials.

Judge: You traveled to [Censored].

Doe: Correct.

Judge: And as you were exiting the country, you were detained by [Censored] Customs and Immigration and told your visa was canceled and you were banned from returning to the country.

Doe: That’s true.

Judge: That’s certainly a black mark against you.

Doe: I don’t see it that way. The government didn’t want me to accumulate all that information and spread it.

Judge: You’re aware of a foundation called “Anti-Hate-Crime Speech?”

Doe: I am.

Judge: The foundation was formed by GoogleFacebookTwitterYouTubeFooFooShooShooAmazonStarbucksMerckTheCIA
FoundationForBetterLiving and 167 other groups.

Doe: So I understand.

Judge: And several of those groups canceled your donation account, de-monetized your videos, deleted your site from six search engines, and convinced a local delivery service to stop bringing pizza to your house.

Doe: Right.

Judge: You’re accused of hate speech against immigrants.

Doe: I published facts. I wasn’t speaking against anyone off the cuff.

Judge: But that’s how it was interpreted. Your article was incendiary, because it inspired a negative view of immigration.

Doe: Inspired? I wrote facts. How others took those facts was their business.

Judge: It’s a question of the greater good. Exposing a few cases of wrongdoing versus alarming and biasing a whole population.

Doe: There is another element. Suppressing important information. Keeping people from seeing what’s happening to their communities and their nation.

Judge: Hate speech cannot be tolerated.

Doe: Who says it’s hate speech?

Judge: A non-profit in Alabama. Two media outlets. They’ve been hired by the Anti-Hate-Crime Speech Foundation to scour articles and identify hate.

Doe: Well, they’re wrong.

Judge: They can’t be wrong.

Doe: Why not?

Judge: Because they’re authorities.

Doe: According to whom?

Judge: These groups are setting a standard. Someone has to.

Doe: How about someone else setting a standard?

Judge: Who would that be?

Doe: The point is, I was exercising my 1st Amendment rights.

Judge: Your what?

Doe: I have a right to speak and write.

Judge: Not if it upsets the good order of the community and causes suffering on the part of people associated with those you accuse of committing serious crimes.

Doe: I disagree. And why shouldn’t I disturb “the good order” if the order is ill-advised and based on the fear of speaking out?

Judge: Let me explain something, Mr. Doe. You have created a generality of hatred.

Doe: A what?

Judge: By publishing your article, you created a generality of negative reaction against a whole group.

Doe: I reported facts, not generalities.

Judge: What you reported can’t be divorced from the effect it had on other people.

Doe: Of course it can. My work didn’t have an automatic effect on other people. They inferred whatever they inferred from my article.

Judge: The overriding principle is: everything is connected to everything.

Doe: You lost me there, sir.

Judge: Everyone in this world is connected and interdependent. Therefore, whatever you do spreads like ink on a blotter.

Doe: How can that be? I gathered specific facts. Those facts don’t apply to all people.

Judge: That’s the old view of things. Now we know that all of us are together as One. A charge against a few is a charge against many.

Doe: That’s illogical. It’s also dangerous. If what you’re saying were true, no one could speak out…

Judge: But you see, there is an important exception to the general rule. I have a list of groups. Certain groups are protected against accusation or slander. Other groups may be accused. In fact, they must be accused.

Doe: Where did you get the list?

Judge: From our leaders.

Doe: Our who?

Judge: Leaders. The people who have knowledge of these matters. The people who understand history. The people who are—

Doe: I see. I exposed certain members of a group that can’t be accused.

Judge: Correct.

Doe: This is over-complicated. I come back to the principle of free speech.

Judge: There is no such principle. At one time, there may have been, but not anymore.

Doe: You’re losing me again, sir.

Judge: It’s quite simple, really.

At this point, six men in black masks holding rifles and burning torches entered the room. One of the men said, “This proceeding is over. We are [Censored]. We have taken the sacred oath of [Censored]. We are cells of the body of the Soros.

Judge: Welcome. Was your oath the [Censored]?

Masked Man: Yes.

Judge: I, too, have taken the oath of the [Censored]. We are One. What message do you bring?

Masked Man: Our leader instructs us to tell you that the defendant, John Doe, is to be sentenced to six days without food or water in the burning desert of [Censored], after which he will be transported to a re-education camp in [Censored], where he will undergo a one-year period of [Censored]. This is the Word.

Judge: I see. Very well. My sentence is thusly made.

Doe: You take orders from these men, Your Honor?

Judge: These men and I are not separate. We are One.

Doe: How did that happen?

Judge: Once upon a time, we were losers. Now we are winners. We overthrew the old order and instituted a new one.

Doe: That must have taken a great deal of planning.

Judge: Decades. More.

Doe: Why haven’t I heard about it?

Judge: Because you are one of those people who would have tried to expose our agenda. Suffice it to say, we worked in secret. We introduced chaos. As just one strategy of many, and I only mention it because it’s one of my favorites, we introduced, into the culture, a long series of absurd rulings and situations that defy logic and rationality. Such rulings paralyze the mind. The mind retreats. It becomes passive. Quiescent. A grandmother grows vegetables on her lawn. She is hauled into court and prosecuted for defacing the appearance of the neighborhood. A child brings a pastry to school and bites it into the shape of what might look like a gun. The child is suspended. Colleges offer rooms with dolls and hot chocolate to students who are triggered by a pronoun. A college student council decides that all white people are demons and must be excluded from decision-making roles. A four-year-old child is encouraged to talk with his parents about the child’s “choice” to change his gender. A manual used by elementary school teachers suggests discussions on all possible forms of sexual intercourse, even sex with animals. Parents are told their vaccinated children are protected from disease, but must not play with unvaccinated children, because then they could get sick, even though they are protected. A state which is in debt to the tune of half a trillion dollars proposes accepting immigrants without limit and giving them many government services without charge. Any politician who speaks with a Russian faces a potential charge of trading with the enemy. Do I need to go on? Over time, one fantastic and absurd thing after another is piled up upon the consciousness of the public, until the insanity reaches to the sky. What is the effect of all that? The befuddled public surrenders and becomes passive. And then we come in behind that and impose our agenda.

Masked Man: Enough. We will remove the defendant now and take him to [Censored].

Judge: Of course.

Doe: So I’m not really guilty.

Judge: You are what we say you are. That overrides all questions of guilt or innocence. There is no more guilt or innocence. There are only rulings. For centuries, guilt and innocence have been twisted by men in power to suit their own ends. We have stopped that. We have stopped the corruption. Now we make decisions based on the greater good. We are the pure ones. We have no agenda except service to the people.

Doe: You’re destroyers.

Judge: “We had to destroy the village in order to save it.”

Doe: You’re going to lose.

Judge: Why is that, Mr. Doe?

Doe: You’ll go too far. You have no idea what people will do when you put them against the wall. That passivity you spoke of is going to evaporate.

Judge: We will see. We will see.

Doe: Are you even human?

Judge: Of course I am. Do you think I’m AI android number 3012-6-B, third generation, extruded at Factory [Censored], produced by [Censored] in accordance with regulations under the [Censored] code of [Censored]…?

The Powerful Individual

Let’s play a game. Relax, it’ll be fun.

Everyone says, “There’s a great new movie you have to see. It’s fantastic.”

So you’re walking down the street to the theater.

Suddenly a man appears and hands you a sheet of paper.

At the top of the sheet, in large bold letters: DON’T WATCH THE MOVIE.

And underneath: HEY, LEARN A LITTLE PHILOSOPHY INSTEAD.

You burst out laughing as you walk on. Philosophy? Is he kidding?

But you read the weird text:

“There are tech people who believe machines have consciousness. They’re wrong.”

“Physicists, when faced with trying to explain human consciousness, assume it is a function of the brain.”

“At the same time, they insist the atomic and sub-atomic particles that compose the brain have no consciousness and no free will.”

“The physicists are mired in a gross contradiction, which they avoid trying to untangle. They just move along—like an amateur magician executing sloppy and obvious tricks.”

“Here are the facts:”

“The individual is conscious and free.”

“The individual’s consciousness is not composed of particles of matter.”

“Of course, this conclusion, which begins to reveal the power of the individual, is socially and politically unacceptable. After all, the prevailing propaganda is on the side of Collectivism—not individual power.”

“If we’re forced to say the individual is conscious, we must also say he is tapping into something called Collective Consciousness, which is where the power actually is.”

“We must say the individual is delusional, and he would wake up from his delusion, if only he would realize he is a drop of water in a vast ocean.”

“We must say the individual is a tiny piece of a whole. He has no power of his own.”

“Cue the quietly twanging music of ‘spirit’ and light the incense. The master says, ‘See? You’re just an atom of cheese in the Great Universal Cheese Glob’.”

This ‘puts the individual in his place’.”

“Civilization declines.”

“And the blockbuster movie called ‘REALITY, THE POWERLESS INDIVIDUAL’ goes on.”

You shake your head and walk to the movie palace.

(There is always a certain amount of whining and remorse as one enters the theater to see this movie, after buying the ticket. “Is this a good idea?” “Why did I do it?”)

But you can already feel a merging sensation. The electromagnetic fields humming in the theater, even before the lights dim and the movie starts, are drawing you in.

Your perception is narrowing.

You take your seat. You read the rest of text on the sheet of paper the man handed you:

“Don’t forget where you came from. Don’t forget this is just a movie. Don’t fall asleep. The serial time in the movie is an artifact. The binding feeling of sentimental sympathy is a trance-induction. It’s the glue that holds the movie fixed in your mind.”

“The movie will induce nostalgia for a past that doesn’t exist. Don’t surrender to it.”

“You’re here to find out why the movie has power.”

“You want to undergo the experience without being trapped in it.”

“The content of the movie will distract you from the fact that it is a construct.”

The lights dim.

On the big screen, against a gray background, the large blue word REALITY slowly forms.

You drop the sheet of paper. Suddenly, you’re looking at a huge pasture filled with flowers. The sky is a shocking blue. You can feel a breeze on your arms and face.

You think, “This is a hypnotic weapon.”

Now, the pasture fades away and you’re standing on an empty city street at night. It’s drizzling. You hear sirens in the distance. A disheveled beggar approaches you and holds out his trembling hand.

He waits, then moves on.

You look at the wet shining pavement and snap your fingers, to change it into a lawn. Nothing happens.

You’re shocked.

You wave your hand at a building. It doesn’t disappear.

Incredible.

You reach into your pocket and feel a wallet. You walk over to a streetlight and open it. There’s your picture on a plastic ID card. Your name is under the picture, followed by a number code. On the reverse side of the card, below a plastic strip, is a thumbprint.

There are other cards in the wallet, and a small amount of paper money. You look at the ID card again. There’s an address.

Though it seems impossible, you remember the address. In your mind’s eye, you see a small cottage at the edge of an industrial town. There’s a pickup parked in the driveway.

It’s your truck. You know it. But how can that be?

You walk toward larger buildings in the distance.

Three men in uniforms turn a corner and come up to you. Behind them emerges a short man in a business suit. He nods at you and holds out his hand.

You know what he wants. You pull out your wallet and give it to him. He looks at the ID card, at you, at the card again.

“You were reported missing,” he says.

“Missing from what?” you say.

“Your cottage. What are doing here? Are you all right?”

“I’m fine,” you say. “I was…taking a short trip. I’m just out for some air.”

“In this part of the city?” he says. “That’s not smart. We’ll take you home. Our car is right over there.”

One car sits on a side street. In large red letters printed on the trunk is the word “Concern.”

You walk with the men to the car.

Waves you’ve never felt before are emanating from it.

Mentally, you try to back up from them. You feel a haze settle over you.

In the haze dance little giggling words. They’re saying:

“Real, real, real…”

You look at the short man in the suit. He’s smiling at you.

Suddenly, his smile is transcendent. It’s so reassuring, tears fill your eyes.

He says: WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER. WE’RE ALL FLOATING IN THE VAST…

But you’re thinking, “They built this so I would be lost, and then they found me. I’m supposed to be rescued. I’ve never experienced being rescued before. I never knew what it meant.”

You hear faint music.

It grows louder. As you near the car, you realize you’re listening to a chorus and an orchestra. The rising theme is Victory.

One of the uniformed men opens the car door.

You nod at him.

“My pleasure, sir,” he says.

The music fades away.

The scene shifts.

You’re standing next to the pickup in your driveway alongside your cottage.

You’re home.

Think, you tell yourself. What’s going on?

You register pastel sensations. They add up to: “Wonderful.”

Now, as you walk into your cottage and instantly remember the rooms and the objects in these rooms, an accompanying wave-front of Familiarity, slightly out of phase, grows stronger.

You realize, without knowing how, that you’re supposed to feel tremendous relief. This is what’s expected of you.

It’s expected of everyone. They live with one another through the touchstone of the Familiar Wave. They share it like bread.

Like a sacrament.

It’s built in. Familiarity is invented through…electromagnetically induced fields. It’s stamped on every object in this space…

…In order to suggest you’ve been here before. To suggest you belong here.

As you look around the cottage, you struggle to identify something. What is it?

It’s the fount of a different kind of perception.

Yes.

You keep staring at the cottage and you see space.

You see pure space that…

Has been put here.

For you.

It tells you that you’re in your place, the place where you were always destined to be.

SOMEBODY DESIGNED THIS PLACE. IT’S ARTIFICIAL.

SYNTHETIC.

And at that moment, there is a small explosion behind your head.

And you’re sitting in the theater again.

The movie is playing on the screen. All around you, in the seats, people are sitting with their eyes closed.

You feel a tap on your shoulder. You turn. It’s an usher.

“Sir,” he says. “Please follow me.”

He leads you up the aisle into the lobby, which is empty.

An office door opens and a young woman steps out. She strides briskly over to you.

“You woke up and came back,” she says. She gives you a tight smile. “So we’re refunding your money. It’s our policy.”

She drops a check in your hand.

“What happened in there?” you say. “What happened?”

She shrugs.

“Only you would know that. You must have done something to interrupt the transmission.”

“And the rest of those people?”

She looks at her watch. “They’re probably into their fifth year by now. They’re rearranging systems. Replacing leaders. They’re promoting new ideals. They think it’s all new.”

“I had such a strong feeling I’d been there before.”

She smiles. “Apparently it wasn’t strong enough. You’re back here.”

“How do you do it?” you say.

“I’m sorry,” she says. “That’s proprietary information. Did you meet your family?”

“No,” you say. “But I was in a cottage. It was…home.”

She nods.

“If you hadn’t escaped, you would have been subjected to much stronger bioelectric bonding pulses.”

You start to say something and you stop.

She looks into your eyes.

“Go out to the street,” she says crisply. “Walk around. Take a nice long walk for an hour. You’ll reorient. It’ll come back to you.”

“Why do you do it?” you say.

“Do what?”

“Sell this trip.”

“Oh,” she says. “Why does a travel agent book a vacation for a client? We’re in the permanent vacation business.”

You turn toward the exit. The sun is shining outside. People are walking past the doors.

You take a deep breath and leave the theater.

The street is surging with crowds. The noise is thunderous.

You notice you’re carrying a rolled up sheet of paper in your hand.

You open it.

It’s a non-disclosure command.

“If you return from your movie experience, you will not reveal or discuss, under penalty of law, anything about its nature, substance, or duration…”

You look at the sheet of paper…

Make up your mind…

And it bursts into flames.

Power.

Your own power.

Not We Are.

You Are.

How does a life change?

The energy

These are notes I made prior to putting together my collection, Exit From The Matrix:

A person tends to “gather up his own life” and construct its boundaries and possibilities in his own mind.

It’s like taking a snapshot of life and pinning it to the wall and saying: THIS IS WHAT MY LIFE IS. IT COULDN’T BE ANYTHING ELSE.

And when he does that, he builds a thought-form that tells him where he can go and what he can do and where he won’t go and what he won’t do.

I once had a client who was very enthusiastic about our work. In each session, he would come across new ideas and resolve to put them into action. However, he never did put even one idea into action. It was as if these new possibilities were bouncing off something already set in his mind. And that something was, literally, a thought-form he had built years earlier, for the purpose of defining his life.

This thought-form operated as a barrier. It repelled anything new.

In this sense, a person can have his own private status quo. No matter what he does, no matter what he says, things will remain the same.

You can call the thought-form a mask, a wall, a fortress—you can call it anything you want to. But it doesn’t budge. If a piece of it comes loose, it is rebuilt quickly. Workers show up with remarkable speed and re-set the bricks.

But then problems develop. All sorts of problems. Physical, relationship, emotional, spiritual…

Why? Because if your life stays the same, at some point it doesn’t work.

Which then means you will become preoccupied with solving problems. And that equals endless distractions.

If you want to see this, as an analogy, played out on a group scale, look at the so-called the US National Security State. All its branches, its procedures, its protections, its research programs, its surveillance, its intrusions, its spies, its need for empire building, and so forth and so on. Problems? They never end. Solutions? They never end.

Well, this is what happens to a person’s life. As a result of keeping that thought-form in place, that configuration that defines his life, the person will experience many problems. And those problems will require solutions…and on and on it goes. He will keep bringing more and more elaborate solutions on board, until finally his life looks like a problem-solving machine that can’t quite keep up.

Into this, all of this, drop a liquid called imagination.

And the work then involves bringing the person on to a new plateau where solving problems isn’t the prime directive.

Instead, a new shining direction is chosen, in which imagination and power play the central role.

Of course, the old thought-form is still there.

But if the person can do imagination exercises (in the “imagination gym”)? These exercises acquaint him with using energies he’s never used before.

And in that process, he begins to realize HE HAS MORE ENERGY THAN HE NEEDS TO LIVE HIS OLD LIFE.

HE HAS MORE ENERGY THAN HE NEEDS TO MAINTAIN HIS STATUS QUO.

HE HAS MORE ENERGY THAN HE NEEDS TO RUN HIS PROBLEM-SOLVING MACHINE.

HE HAS EXCESS ENERGY. LOTS AND LOTS OF IT.

THIS is how life changes.

A person realizes he has more energy than he thought he had.

In order to keep bowing at the feet of his thought-form, the thing that tells him what to do and what not to do, the thing that hems him in, he needs to expend a certain amount of energy.

Staying the same requires a “steady maintenance dose” of energy. And the person intuitively knows this.

He believes he’s living a zero-sum game. He puts just enough energy into maintaining that thought-form to keep everything the same. And then he gets? His life as it is.

SO HE CONCLUDES THE AMOUNT OF MAINTENANCE ENERGY HE HAS ON HAND IS ALL THE ENERGY HE’LL EVER HAVE.

But suppose one day he shows up with 100 tons of new energy?

This is new, this is different.

Because ENERGY IS THE THING THAT WILL CONVINCE A PERSON HE CAN LIVE A NEW LIFE.

If he has an abundance of energy, he’ll offload that thought-form that’s been holding him a straitjacket.

Because he sees he can go farther than the thought-form can take him. He has the energy to do it.

Energy is the proof.

That’s what, subconsciously, he’s been waiting for and hoping for.

Finding new energy is like finding a gold mine.

Until that happens, people with a tight, restraining thought-form will keep bouncing new possibilities into the air and walking away and letting those great new ideas fall on the ground.

Energy is the key.

There are ways to restore it and expand it.

Fuel (energy) was the key to the great leap forward in technology, and it’s the missing piece in the leap forward in life.

Exit From The Matrix: Yes, I keep writing about imagination

Imagination is as natural and real as breathing. People who don’t know this or forget it come up against a brick wall.

Some of them then go to booze and drugs, some to violence, some to despair, some to the straitjacket of a severely repetitive mechanical life, some to the dull, dull ground of passivity.

Life is not a machine. Humans are not machines, although they often play one day after day.

Humans are creative.

They can step on that, try to grind it into dust, make up a thousand excuses, but the fact remains.

Societies and civilizations are never creative, after a certain point in their development. They opt for standard shapes and standard patterns of thought and standard organizations.

This devolution isn’t just the “the strong controlling the weak.”

It’s a subconscious impulse that spreads like a disease. Throughout history, you see it manifest in many forms.

These days, we have the massive Surveillance State. It’s an expression of “the standard human who must think and act in certain ways.”

Imagination puts the lie to all this.

Imagination goes anywhere you want it to, and in the process, you discover ideas and realms and dimensions and power that would otherwise have remained invisible to the end of time.

This is the natural state of affairs.

Everything else is programming.

Programming comes in two forms: what is done to the individual, and what he does to himself.

Every spiritual system and spiritual teaching, down through history, has initially or eventually discarded imagination and thrown it on the junk-heap.

It’s long past the time to reverse that trend.

The creative power of the individual, which is the key to his future, his happiness, his freedom, flows from his imagination.

For this reason, over the last 20 years, I’ve developed hundreds of imagination exercises, about 50 of which are included in my collection, Exit From The Matrix.

Exit From The Matrix: why is imagination rejected?

Instead of being viewed as a core human power, imagination is usually relegated to the status of “a toy for children.”

Upon attaining the status of “mature adult,” a person is expected to offload remnants of imagination and get down to the serious business of living.

This means fitting in, finding a niche, specializing, and “making himself useful.”

These factors eventually add up to existing in a hypnotic state.

If there is rescue, it is framed in terms of some external force that delivers a longed-for prize.

But in fact, everything a person wishes for requires action on his part—and that action emerges out of his own imagination.

Why? Because that is where new realities are conceived. That is the source of unlimited energy.

Everything else amounts to waiting around in a cosmic bus station, hoping for a ride that will provide The Answer.

Matrix is the sum of all consensus reality at all levels of mind, emotion, energy, perception, and psyche.

It is built for the purpose of stifling the creative force in every individual.

For this reason, over the last 20 years, I’ve developed hundreds of imagination exercises, about 50 of which are included in my collection, Exit From The Matrix.

Celebrities as symbols

I recently found a 2013 article I wrote about celebrities and symbols. As we veer into the election season, I’m reposting it as a reminder about how symbols work, how they are made to stand in for real people. You can supply your own examples from 2019…

Let’s start here: A museum. A show of photographs of celebrities. If you didn’t know who they were, if you hadn’t been “prepped,” most of the photos would barely register. You’d yawn and walk past them.

But because you have separate knowledge, the photos mean something. They refer to a whole host of material and background on famous people.

“Oh. That’s Jay Leno eating ice cream.”

Again, subtract that material and background and the photos are meaningless.

“That’s some guy eating ice cream. So what?”

The photos are symbols, in the sense that they refer, they point to something that isn’t there.

The photos have power because YOU make the jump from symbol to meaning. You’re doing it.

“Oh, look at that photo. That’s Jay. Tonight Show. Tells jokes. He and Letterman compete for ratings. Jay replaced Johnny Carson.”

Then there are your opinions and feelings. More background.

“Jay’s not that funny. They should have stayed with Conan. Television, what a waste of time. A distraction for the masses.”

You make the simple jump from an image to what it means.

And all these photos have something in common. They refer to someone who is famous.

You could say, “Wait a minute. Let’s make a distinction here. The photos don’t refer. The photos don’t refer to anything. They’re just sitting there, inside frames, hanging on the wall.”

And that’s true. You do the referring. You connect the photo to meaning, to background.

But this is equally true of all symbols. A photo of an American flag doesn’t really refer, either. It just sits there. You make the connection to 50 states, the Constitution, the country, etc. The photo doesn’t step down from the wall and tap you on the shoulder and talk to you about itself.

People INVEST power in a photo of John Lennon sitting on a porch smoking a cigarette. However, people believe the photo itself HAS power.

Now, we’re talking about the trick involving symbols. They’re basically empty. You fill in the emptiness.

All this becomes more interesting when you realize there are PR people and propagandists working around the clock to make you impart particular meaning to symbols. They’re not satisfied to have you supply your own meaning. No.

For example, the last thing they want is you supplying your own references to photos of Hillary Clinton. They want you to think: distinguished leader, much experience, first woman president, above party politics, brilliant mind, great sympathy for the plight of the less fortunate, etc.

They want to make the symbol of Hillary as specific as possible.

This is really why the speeches of politicians are so empty. Their handlers don’t want actual information to get in the way of how the symbol is being crafted. PR people, if they could, would have a presidential candidate come up to a microphone, stand there, smile, and say nothing.

They, the PR handlers, are already shaping the symbolic meaning of the image of the candidate. That’s all they care about. That’s the difference between winning and losing.

Just as television shows are really the breaks between commercials, an election campaign is just a break between symbol-manipulations for the masses.

A scholar could write a compelling and important history of the human race based entirely on how symbols are given meanings by propagandists.

Rulers and other leaders are celebrities. Their symbolic value is established and shaped. The whole idea is to get followers to invest meaning A,B,C in the image of the celeb, rather than meaning E,F,G.

In this case, what does meaning mean? Thoughts and feelings. Strong feelings.

“Bush will restore the republic.” Feel, feel, feel.

“Obama will bring unity to all peoples.” Feel, feel, feel.

But THEY (the propagandists) aren’t doing it to YOU in a vacuum. You’re consenting to the ploy. You’re injecting desired meaning. You’re not a helpless victim.

Here’s the kicker. If you know you’re injecting meaning, you know you’re creating something. So why not open that door wide?

Why not create with power? Why not create what you most profoundly want to?

Bottom line: everybody is an artist. So why not do something with that fact, instead of playing the symbol game?

This isn’t about withdrawing to a theoretically safe distance where you can refrain from injecting symbols with meaning. It’s about expressing your own energy and power in the world.

A final word about the amusing, wild, and wooly world of “channeling.” This is a perfect example of symbolism. The lecturer is purportedly obtaining all his information and wisdom from some entity in another dimension. The entity is the celebrity.

The audience is prepped to understand this relationship between the lecturer and the entity. So now, when the lecturer (medium) speaks, everything he says automatically has greater and higher meaning.

The symbolic reference to the entity is supplied by whom? The audience. They inject the “super-meaning.”

What would happen if the lecturer dispensed the same information, minus the prior assertion that he was getting it from a higher source? His audience would shrink to minimal size. People would walk out of the hall.

They would have no reason to stay. They aren’t being asked to inject that added dimension to the lecturer’s words. It’s a dud.

No gloss. No glitz. No celebrity. No deal.

And now, a final, final word. Who is the greatest celebrity in the universe?

God.

I don’t care whether you believe in God or don’t believe in God. I don’t care whether you believe in Him on Sundays or every day of the week.

But the symbols of God, all the symbols that exist—these are the work of organized religions. They put out and promote and flash those symbols, for one reason: they want you to connect to God through their network and mesh of symbols.

Otherwise, they’d be out of business.

They don’t want you to connect to God through your own private faith. That would be a disaster for them. They have to have all those symbols. They have to get you to inject those symbols with their meaning. Because, then, you’re part of their club. You belong. You’re in their group.

So…do symbols have power? Is this serious business?

Republicans storm secret Democrats’ impeachment hearing

On Wednesday, House Republican lawmakers—between 25 and 50, depending on whose numbers you believe—climbed out of their baby diapers for a few minutes, invaded a classified room in the Capitol, and demanded to be let in on secret impeachment hearings run by the little prince of oafs, Demo Adam Schiff. The prince, who often appears as if he’s a stark hypnotized subject of CIA MKULTRA experiments gone into the dumpster, left the room.

Whether you love or hate Trump, who is the target of the hearings—beside the point. Whether he should or shouldn’t be impeached—beside the point. The point is SECRECY.

If this hearing and the depositions from witnesses mean anything—and they do—then they should be put on television for all the country to see. What are the Democrats talking about? What do the witnesses have to say? Who are they? Why the closed doors? Who do these idiots think they are? This meeting wasn’t an informal planning session in somebody’s house in Georgetown with drinks and cigars. It was happening in the Capitol.

Therefore, you might think the Democrats in the room EXPECTED Republicans to come scrambling through the doors and caving in the proceedings. For theatrical effect.

What?

It’s called stirring the pot. Raising the threat level.

The Demos are pulling out the stops, all the way to the presidential election of 2020. They’re doing impeachment by polls and surveys. They’re going to the mattresses. They’re swinging at anything within their reach. “The impeachment process” is the occasion for yet more pounding on Trump. They want him softened up as much as possible, so that by the time of the Democratic Convention, in the summer of 2020, when THEIR presidential candidate will be named…

When it is quite possible that Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Joe Biden are splitting the votes and none of them has the nomination in tow…

And several long voice ballots are called, state by state, and the delegates remain firm, and no back room deal can be made—and all this escalating drama is being played up and banged out on global television, over the course of several days, with breathless network anchors on the scene, working their best pol porn opera under the heading of A NATION IN CRISIS…

And surely, the very end of civilization is upon us…

Suddenly, the synthetic ceiling skies part and an orchestra pounds heavy chords, and some Demo preacher-lizard type steps up to the mic on the big wide stage and sing-songs…

Yes, a new name and a new person, who has been spared the effort and fatigue and problems of campaigning over the long hot summer, who surely would have melted down under the strain, but who, through the magic of medical science—drugs and more drugs, until the right combination and protocol were found, for the short term—that person can now, on ropes and pulleys, descend from the ceiling of the giant hall, grinning with the face of a young delighted girl who has just been given her first weaponized drone for Christmas…

Gone she was, but here she is.

And NOW, the states can be polled again. And THIS time, we see and hear state after state universally affirming, by unanimous acclaim, amidst the wild roars in the room and the wondrous close-ups of male and female hysterical weeping, against subliminals of Libya being destroyed piece by piece, the nomination of the real candidate.

Gone she was, but here she is.

Primped, pumped, drugged, and smuggled into candidacy, once again.

The nation has been saved.

A moving walkway takes her through the massive throngs of wild worshipers. She clasps hands and touches cheeks and yes, a few menthol-induced tears sit firmly under her own eyes, glistening in the pin-spot lights like ice crystals.

She floats through the whole room and out the back and on to a lift that spoons her into a black SUV that pulls away from the curb. Off to a secret location to prep for her acceptance speech in prime time.

Back in the conventional hall, in her wake, two tons of confetti are falling on the delegates. Out of nowhere, a few thousand HILLARY signs are in their hands. Network cameras pan the room, then hold on a long shot. A voice says quietly, “We’ll be back, after this.”

Blackout.

Aces.

Finally, the Truth about Symbols

The thought was: if these sky shapes had meaning, what would it be? And if each of you could decide independently, what would happen?” — Auntie Mime, Reality Disruptor

The red knight said to the blue knight, “I’m departing for unknown shores. Here I give you the seal of my empire. Hold it close. When the hour of the new year strikes, open it and view the symbol contained therein. It carries esoteric meaning that will usher you into my lands.”

The blue knight was staggered. “Is this really true?” he said.

In land far-far or near-near, the people had symbols. For many centuries, symbols had been imposed on them.

This is not a hard thing to do. For example, you build a tower and place art around the joint and you play droning music and you dim the lights and you hold services, and the high priest hopefully has a rich mellow voice, a good baritone…and at the appropriate moment, he lapses into silence, waits, and then leans forward and pronounces the name of the symbol…maybe he holds up an illuminated stick with the symbol at the end.

Then he describes the meaning of the symbol.

And it sinks in.

Squish.

With enough time, enough good prep, enough symbols, you can put a whole populations under hypnosis and lead them around by their collective nose.

Well, in this land, the people eventually got tired of that crap, and so they sank the tower in the sea and started over.

From that moment on, symbols were OPEN.

Symbols were contemplated, now and then, and people could derive (imagine) whatever meanings they preferred. Each person could do that.

Then they would hold informal meetings, and after a few comedians loosened things up, people would stand, one at a time, and present their experience with the symbol of the month. Do their riffs. The only rule—don’t be boring.

The funny thing was, after a few years of this sort of meeting, the very language of the people began to expand…new words, new phrases, new ideas, new images…even new constructions.

It was a language, more and more, infiltrated by imagination.

And what do you know, the people became freer and more energetic. They sensed their language was coming into line with their creative impulse—whereas in many societies, the creative impulse comes into line with the language.

The people called this a major discovery, and they celebrated it by building a new tower. They discussed what to call it. After a few days, they said HOLD ON, THIS IS RIDICULOUS, and burned it down.

Every year, they build a new tower and burn it.

Just to remind themselves about what can happen when everyone behaves like an android and allows meaning to emanate from one point.

Their language is now 1000000000 times its former size.

Oh, off in a corner of a dim bar, a few guys reminisce about the good old days when things were normal and they knew what “the spiritual universe” consisted of. They wish it would all come back. The music, the snoring, the hypnotic ceremony, the closed symbols. They really love those closed symbols.

They’re even trying to build their own permanent tower out at the end of town by a tire recapper and a collapsed warehouse. Others, of the new generation, will go down there on a Saturday morning, stand around, and chip in advice.

“Put more mud on that side.”

“Make the holes for the windows a little bigger.”

Much amusement.

One universe, many universes, take your pick.
