by Jon Rappoport
The people who run society are engaged in bringing systems and structures into interlocking alignment, in order to create larger and larger machines of control.
I keep returning to this territory, because the whole thrust of modern civilization is making the individual extinct.
Powerless, badly educated, adrift in technology, viewed as a unit tied to a massive collective—this is the picture of the individual.
Let’s go back to square one. The individual is fundamentally at odds with the State. The State wants control. The State wants loyalists, adherents, joiners, conformists. The individual wants freedom, if he has any inkling of his own power.
The basic makeup of the State is promoted as a We. We want this. We need this. We deserve this. We all agree on this. The ubiquitous We is floated on purpose. The aim is to eradicate the I. The individual.
The State wants all arguments to center on what We should get. Should We be given this or that? Should We have A or B? What is best for We?
This is where all the trouble starts.
The State is not going to solve that trouble because it is creating it.
On the other hand, the individual who is free knows what he wants. Or can discover it. Sooner or later, he realizes that most of the people around him aren’t free. Those people have embedded themselves so deeply in We that they can’t see outside it. The very idea of being free is meaningless to them.
So be it.
Ultimately, when all the bets are in, when all the chips are laid down on the table, the State’s game is all about We. That’s how the game is rigged.
The individual is ruled out.
The roulette wheel spins, but it doesn’t matter which slot the ball falls into. No slot is labeled “individual.”
And I’m not just talking about the State. Any large organization works in the same way.
So the free individual has to take his future in his own hands.
First, he has to conceive that he does have a future apart from We.
Then he has to imagine what that future could look like. He has to invent the future he wants.
What’s called “the spiritual” is not independent from what I’m talking about here. How the free individual imagines his future and then goes after inventing it is very much a spiritual exploration. Why? Because the individual is more than a bio-machine. Knowing that, he conceives of a future which is more than lowest-common-denominator physical needs.
In my collection, Exit From The Matrix, I include dozens of imagination exercises and techniques I developed, based on a study of ancient Tibet, and my work with hypnotherapist Jack True. The whole purpose of those exercises is: the individual returns to himself and his power.
Not the We. The I.
The entire planet is turning into a cult, which I call: “What Already Exists.” As opposed to the individual inventing what he most profoundly wants to exist.
What Already Exists is mostly structures and systems. To the degree a person feels his life should be lived inside a structure, he is going to refrain from imagining the future he truly wants.
In fact, the whole notion of “truly wants” is going to shrink and vanish from his mind.
But that notion is the key.
The key to his freedom and creative power.

What has been called The Matrix is a series of layers. These layers compose what we call Reality. Reality is not merely the consensus people accept in their daily lives. It is also a personal and individual conception of limits. It is a perception that these limits are somehow built into existence. But this is not true.
What I’ve done here is remove the lid on those perceived limits. This isn’t an intellectual undertaking. It’s a way to open up space and step on to a new road, with new power.

MY ANALYSIS
(A discussion on metaphysics and neuroscience)
1) Science affirms John Donne’s astute observation – “No man is an island”.
2) Human beings as a product of evolution are social animals and cannot live in isolation for most part of it unless one is a Thoreau or a Lao Tzu given to profound contemplation or if one is a misanthrope who hates humanity or a lunatic who develops sociophobia and whose hallucinations are his psychotic reality.
3) Networks with feedback loops permeate nature at large as well as the web of life at the individual as well as at the collective levels.
The systems approach is the correct way to study a phenomenon.
4) When the parts of any system harmoniously collaborate then synergy or an outcome exceeding the effect of the sum of the totality of its parts arises.
5) Synergy is dynamic and creative if put to constructive use, that, should, if the human being is to remain sane, rational and productive, revolve around exploring the triangular relationship among reason, science and the commonweal (common good) and applied accordingly.
6) The idea of free will is debunked by the findings in neuroscience by which specific neuronal excitations precede the conscious thought of making a choice.
7) It could be argued that the neuronal excitations result from deep subconscious mechanisms indicating that the subconscious as a matter of conditioning, education, environmental impulses and heredity decides upon a choice using its data set described above.
8) The decision made by the subconscious, circumscribed by the limitations of the data set, rises into the surface mind where it’s cognised and acted on.
9) Individual freedom is contingent on interaction with one’s own predispositions and one’s relationship with the collectivity… the resulting filtrate distils out as individuality.
“Human beings as a product of evolution are social animals and cannot live in isolation for most part of it unless one is a Thoreau or a Lao Tzu given to profound contemplation or if one is a misanthrope who hates humanity or a lunatic who develops sociophobia and whose hallucinations are his psychotic reality.”
Funny you mention that i for one am like a wolf they like long periods alone but come together for the benefit of the hunt. It was the very first animal i saw in experiment i took.I live in New Zealand and i just wanna go live in bush build myself a nice log cabin fish hunt and live with nature. Im sick of human brainwashing noise when im out in nature its just natures noise of birds creek rivers trees etc not someone bashing you over head everyday telling you what to think what to believe. But i cant cause you need 40,000 plus to get small section or someone else owns it like government DOC land etc. Why would i destroy the environment around me it my food source if i want to build house for myself i will i am a god dam birth right citizen to the earth and i should be able have house without all this money and debt cause someone owns all the land.My grand dad and great great dad built stury homes still standing and people living in them to this day, they didnt need all these council and government legalities and fees to pay like today. just a rigged game
Science Explains Why Highly Intelligent People Prefer To Be Alone
Scientists have a great idea about what is that is making people happy. It’s known that exercising can reduce the anxiety and help you relax.
Reducing the social media usage is going to improve your emotional wellbeing. Being in nature will bring us joy.
Related: Digital Addiction Increases Loneliness, Anxiety And Depression
In addition, for numerous people, being around friends is making us feel happy and content. Friends are going to make you happier, unless you are highly intelligent.
This surprising claim is backed up by a research. In a paper that was published in the British Journal of Psychology, Satoshi Kanazawa and Norman Li explain why the very intelligent people are experiencing lower life satisfaction when they more frequently socialize with their close friends.
Related: The Intrinsic Value Of Treating Yourself Like A Good Friend Rather Than A Bullying Enemy
The scientists based their findings in evolutionary psychology, and they suggest that the intelligence evolved as a quality for solving the unique challenges. The more intelligent members of the group were more able to solve some issues on their own and they didn’t need help from their friends.
People are happier when they are with friends because we evolved on this way, but the more intelligent people are happier when they are alone.
Here’s the reason.
How Intelligence, Population Density, and Friendship Affect the Modern Happiness
The specialists reached their decision in the wake of breaking down study reactions from 15,197 individuals between the ages of 18 and 28. They got their information as a major aspect of the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health, a study which measures life fulfillment, intelligence and health.
One of their key discoveries was accounted for by Inverse:
“Examination of this information uncovered that being around dense crowds of individuals ordinarily prompts unhappiness, while associating with companions regularly prompts joy – that is, unless the individual being referred to is exceptionally intelligent.”
The truth is out: associating with friends brings about expanding levels of joy unless you’re a truly smart individual.

The “Savanna Theory of Happiness”
The authors explain the findings they came across by raising the “savanna theory of happiness”, based on the idea that the life satisfaction of people is based not only on what’s happening in the present, but also by how the ancestors of ours may have reacted in the present moment.
The hypothesis originates from evolutionary psychology, and contends that the human brain was to a great extent planned by and adjusted to the states of the environment before we made a rural based society.
In this manner, the scientists contend, our brains are not appropriate to understanding and reacting to the one of a kind states of advanced society.
They analyzed two key factors that are unique to the modern era:
Population density
How frequently people socialize with their friends
According to the researchers, nowadays numerous people live in places of a higher population density than people before us would have lived in, and they spend less time with friends than people used to spend earlier.
Therefore, most people are going to become happier by living according to what is natural to them: spend more time with friends, and be around less people.
However, as the researchers stated, this doesn’t apply to highly intelligent persons.
“In general, more intelligent persons are more likely to have ‘unnatural’ preferences and values that the people before us did not have,” Kanazawa says.
“It is very natural for species such as humans to seek and desire friendships and, that’s why, more intelligent persons are likely to seek them less.”
Related: Loneliness – The Dilemma Of The Awakening Mind
They also found that the very intelligent people feel that they don’t benefit a lot from friendships, and yet they socialize more often than the less intelligent individuals.
Explaining the Research Finding That the Very Intelligent Individuals Want to be Alone
The most important question for the researchers is the reason why humans have adapted the quality of intelligence.
The evolutionary psychologists believe that the intelligence evolved as a psychological trait with the intention to solve new problems. For our ancestors, common contact with friends has been a necessity which has helped them to ensure their survival.
To be highly intelligent, however, meant that a person was uniquely able to solve challenges without needing the assistance of another person. This diminished the importance of friendships to these people.
In this way, an indication of somebody being exceedingly intelligent is extraordinarily having the capacity to comprehend challenges without the assistance of the gathering.
Related: Self-Fulfilling Prophecies, And The Laws Of Appreciation And Attraction
Historically, people have lived in groups of around 150: the typical Neolithic village was about this size. Thickly populated urban communities, then again, are accepted to bring out isolation and depression since they make it hard to encourage close relationships.
However, a busy and alienating place has to a lesser extent a contrary effect on more intelligent individuals. That may clarify why highly ambitious individuals float from rustic ranges to the urban areas.
“When all is said in done, urbanites have higher normal insight than ruralites do, conceivably in light of the fact that more intelligent people are better ready to live in ‘unnatural’ settings of high populace thickness,” says Kanazawa.
This Doesn’t Mean That if You Like to be Around Your Close Friends You Are Not Highly Intelligent
It’s also important to note that correlation in the research findings doesn’t mean causation.
In other words, the research findings don’t mean that if you enjoy to be surrounded by your friends that you are not highly intelligent.
Related: Hero Worship And The Shadow Self
While the highly intelligent persons may have adapted to be more comfortable in areas of high population density, the highly intelligent might also be “chameleons” – persons who are comfortable in various situations.
As the researchers concluded:
“What’s more important, the main associations of life satisfaction with the population density and socialization with our friends significantly interact with our intelligence, and the main association is reversed among the extremely intelligent people.
More intelligent persons experience lower life satisfaction with the more frequent socialization with friends.”
One of the key takeaways from this research could be to apply this to the introverts in your life.
Just because some person likes to be alone, doesn’t mean that they are lonely. They might just be highly intelligent and they are able to solve challenges on their own.
There are many species in nature that like to be alone cats for example sharks octopus these are intelligent species as intelligence is displayed within natures forms not just Humans self centric bastards who think they the only smart ones here on earth lol.
Now how many people associate with some type of socialisation ideology to make themselves feel needy wanted look at me, look at me or need to cling to some type of man made belief for security I I I Me me me the brain is product of time evolution its condition as some great scientists have said “we are not our minds”, cause the mind is product of time which is conditioned. Khrishnamurti talks interviews with david bohm very interesting,
“6) The idea of free will is debunked by the findings in neuroscience by which specific neuronal excitations precede the conscious thought of making a choice.”
I’m happy to pit the entire field of economics and the existence of imagination against a couple of heavily contrived, confusing and ambiguous neuroscience experiments.
the discussion/debate/fight about “free will” really requires a definition of the term. otherwise the conversation is futile.
Local covid propaganda networks here in SW Michigan dominate not just the ‘news’ but every interim period between the few shows we watch at night (reruns). The stated message is always “we’re all in this together” – and then the reporters are either in their home alone with pet dog or cat or out on the street in their masks showing only few protesters in the background from Operation Gridlock, all handpicked to portray fringy silly nuts. So like the pavlovian mouse I am, I shout back at the tv – NO WE ARE NOT IN THIS TOGETHER YOU IDIOTS…this is involuntary for me no matter what.

Who’s who on Jon’s blog probably has to be done. ALH is now posting links to videos with no precis. That’s not to my liking. I think it’s reasonable to give a sentence or two as in a TV Guide method to describe what we’re in for. ALH is now claiming that free will is questionable. Well, given the tension in this discussion, I would now put ALH in my questionable column.
Have I questioned free will?
If you have a question you would like to ask me, you can always ask.
“The systems approach is the correct way to study a phenomenon.”
How do you know? Given that your opinion is only a matter of conditioning.
How can the subconscious decide anything, given that free will doesn’t exist?

ALH, it’s time to reveal who you are. No more anonymity for you. Okay?
@A Little Help:
1) Systems theory studies cumulative effects and not just the individual components taken apart by dissecting the system yielding a limited and flawed understanding.
2) Every individual part of a system is connected to all the other parts of the system and as such the functioning of an individual part cannot be viewed in isolation if a deep and holistic understanding is the aim.
3) Knock out one part and the other components of the system are affected altering the output of the system as a whole.
4) Systems theory is profound and seeks answers using the integrated approach.
5) Nature is a web made of individual strands interconnected with each other with feedback loops permeating the system to ensure harmony at all strata if the system as a whole is to operate smoothly and at maximum efficiency.
6) Study the individual part by all means but also understand that an individual part cannot function in isolation as it is intimately connected to all the other parts of the system.
7) The subconscious filters out responses given that it acts as an underlying sink that absorbs all impressions conscious or unconscious and so the human being is largely driven by subconscious instincts. The will is as a result conditioned by the contents and workings of the subconscious. A choice is never independent of subconscious impressions and so will is not free to do as it pleases.
Get it?
Shalom
How do you know? Given that your opinion is only a matter of conditioning.
Viva la libertad!!!!!
Been in an MLM or a pyramid scheme? You don’t need huge groups for such dynamics to play out. You can see it very obviously in a small group of 20.
The new member who questions everything is shunned. Your idols and role models best not be someone outside of that group. If you do indeed have any dissenting thoughts, best keep it to yourself.
Until one day you cannot take it anymore, then you would leave.
Another good one John!
I just stumbled upon an article from 2010 written by Pro-Vaxxers, who discredited the PCR test because it was being used by Dr. Wakefield in his MMR Autism studies. They said it was worse than worthless and shouldn’t be used in any serious study.
https://www.qmul.ac.uk/media/news/2010/smd/professor-calls-for-urgent-change-in-research-methods-after-dr-andrew-wakefield-is-struck-off.html
So essentially, they discredited the test 10 years ago when it was being used by Wakefield to show links to vaccine damaged autism, but all of a sudden PCR is cool again?
This is seriously bizzaro planet stupid we now live in. Unreal.

“The people who run society”
We do not live in a society we live in a military state without a financial system.
We are forced to submit to fake money printed by traitors who pledge their service to the British Empire NATO UNITED NATIONS HEROIN MAFIA. Silver is real money that can be used to practice honest charity to cultivate our luck. ONLY THE LUCKY CAN BE BRAVE.
“Reality is not merely the consensus people accept in their daily lives”
Forcing people to submit to military scrip as legal tender is not a practice of consensus. It is not a
consensual act because it is rape. Rape is the practice of controlling other people with fear. Fear is an insatiable fake desire to be safe from a delusion of danger. Real danger has actual conditions of safety that can be met to eliminate the impetus for defense. Belief is not knowledge. Belief is submission. Luck, morality and real geometry of Euclid are forms of knowledge, not belief. Knowledge is cultivated through experience.
You do not submit to knowledge. Cowards submit to belief. The brave stand upon higher ground of FACTS.
Keep it up Jon, much respect.

The Algorithms of Obedience
Harper Eliot
The Algorithms of Obedience
Now rule this jaded land
As Officialdom spouts its innocence
While etching phantoms in the sand.
A database of doom now runs our daily lives
Opening the ‘Gates’ of hell
Where a googol of ghastly gigabytes hide
That promise to our curiosity quell.
A brave new world has captured our minds
What is this masked phantasm
That outside our windows and blinds
Circumscribes six feet of desolate freedom!
It is a sad day for humanity
As Lady Liberty’s torch has alas gone out
Where the caress of love is the new insanity
And our future in the gravest doubt.
Shackled are we to hearth and home
Where no neighbors dare come by
Abandoned in a world of all alone
Where the sun cannot not see us cry.
I heard them call this the new normal
Isolation for the good of all mankind,
A New World dystopian principal
To cloud the synapses of the mind.
Where do we go from here
What was is no more
Doesn’t it seem a bit queer
All those shuttered windows and doors?
And down the street that old salty bar
That once was my favorite keep
Where no more those arrogant bar stool bards
Are slamming down the sacred liquid of the peat.
The shock troops of the establishment
Will be paying you a visit soon
To enforce the New Order’s testament
With their needle tips of doom.
And as we self destructed
We traded our love away
For a brave new world constructed
On Ozymandian trunks made of clay.
Yet no power exists to defeat love’s vibration
That propagates beyond the bounds of time
And the hearts brutal incarceration
Standing on wisdom’s bread line.
For now we live online
Zombie children of cyberspace
And of nature’s wisdom blind
Clinging desperately to hell’s electronic carapace.
In the distance I see the fields of Elysium
Beyond the silvery circuits of insanity
That have become the mind’s new presidium
And keepers of the new gospel of conformity.
Rise up and join our great escape
Follow your heart’s true path
Beyond the silicon guide-stones of state
And her digital virus of fear and wrath.
And once from this land gone
We can kiss lady liberty again
Singing our true song
Of a love that must never end.
