How about life in prison for doctors who prescribe psychiatric drugs to toddlers?

Over the past 25 years, I’ve documented and exposed the horrendous effects of psychiatric drugs.

To take this a giant step further, what doctor, in his right mind, would DIAGNOSE a baby, a toddler, a very young child with a mental disorder and then PRESCRIBE one of these drugs?

“Your six-month-old baby has clinical depression.” What lunatic would say such a thing?

In case you’re a new reader, I’ve firmly established that NO so-called mental disorder is diagnosed on the basis of a defining laboratory test. Not a blood test, not a urine test, not a brain scan, not a genetic assay.

And yet, here are MDs saying—on the basis of psychiatric committee decisions that arbitrarily define these disorders—that babies have specific mental illnesses.

On February 19, 2015, the Wall St. Journal reported:

“Psychiatric drugs are now being given to infants and toddlers in unprecedented numbers.”

“An analysis of 2013 IMS Data, found that over 274,000 infants (0-1 year olds) and some 370,000 toddlers (1-3 years age) in the U.S. were on antianxiety (e.g. Xanax) and antidepressant (e.g. Prozac) drugs. This report also found over 1,400 infants were on ADHD drugs.”

“A 2014 Georgia Medicaid analyses…when extrapolated nationwide by the New York Times found that over 10,000 toddlers were put on ADHD treatments [amphetamine-type drugs].”

“Prescriptions of powerful antipsychotics such as Risperdal for infants and very young children have also sharply risen. Office visits for childhood bipolar disorder have risen 40-fold over the past decade in the U.S.”

The doctors who prescribe these dangerous and highly harmful drugs are worse than street dealers. What street dealer would try to sell a drug to a parent for her one-year-old child?

If the Department of Justice won’t take action, professional medical societies, such as the American Medical Association, should publish the names of doctors who prescribe psychiatric drugs to toddlers, and state medical boards should strip these doctors of their licenses to practice. But this is a fantasy, because every major medical group is a partner of the pharmaceutical industry.

It falls, then, to parents to keep their babies miles away from brain-killing MDs who prescribe the drugs.

Here is a tiny sample of available open-source literature. You can multiply the reported drug-effects many times, when babies are the patients—and in many cases, the specific damage to adult patients, when applied to babies, is impossible to predict, except that it will be far-reaching and chaotic.

In 1986, The International Journal of the Addictions published a most important literature review by Richard Scarnati. It was called “An Outline of Hazardous Side Effects of Ritalin (Methylphenidate)” [v.21(7), pp. 837-841].

Scarnati listed a large number of adverse effects of Ritalin and cited published journal articles which reported each of these symptoms. (Scarnati’s findings would apply to all ADHD drugs, which are amphetamine-like.)

For every one of the following (selected and quoted verbatim) Ritalin effects, there is at least one confirming source in the medical literature:

* Paranoid delusions
* Paranoid psychosis
* Hypomanic and manic symptoms, amphetamine-like psychosis
* Activation of psychotic symptoms
* Toxic psychosis
* Visual hallucinations
* Auditory hallucinations
* Can surpass LSD in producing bizarre experiences
* Effects pathological thought processes
* Extreme withdrawal
* Terrified affect
* Started screaming
* Aggressiveness
* Insomnia
* Since Ritalin is considered an amphetamine-type drug, expect amphetamine-like effects
* Psychic dependence
* High-abuse potential DEA Schedule II Drug
* Decreased REM sleep
* When used with antidepressants one may see dangerous reactions including hypertension, seizures and hypothermia
* Convulsions
* Brain damage may be seen with amphetamine abuse.

In the US alone, there are at least 300,000 cases of motor brain damage incurred by people who have been prescribed so-called anti-psychotic drugs. Risperdal (mentioned above as a drug given to toddlers diagnosed with Bipolar) is one of those major tranquilizers. (Source: Toxic Psychiatry, Dr. Peter Breggin, St. Martin’s Press, 1991)

February 1990 American Journal of Psychiatry (Teicher et al, v.147:207-210) reports on “six depressed patients, previously free of recent suicidal ideation, who developed `intense, violent suicidal preoccupations after 2-7 weeks of fluoxetine [Prozac] treatment.’ The suicidal preoccupations lasted from three days to three months after termination of the treatment. The report estimates that 3.5 percent of Prozac users were at risk.”

An earlier study, from the September 1989 Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, by Joseph Lipiniski, Jr., indicates that in five examined cases people on Prozac developed what is called akathisia. Symptoms include intense anxiety, inability to sleep, the “jerking of extremities,” and “bicycling in bed or just turning around and around.” Psychiatrist Peter Breggin comments that akathisia “may also contribute to the drug’s tendency to cause self-destructive or violent tendencies … Akathisia can become the equivalent of biochemical torture…”

The June 1990 Health Newsletter, produced by the Public Citizen Research Group, reports, “Akathisia, or symptoms of restlessness, constant pacing, and purposeless movements of the feet and legs, may occur in 10-25 percent of patients on Prozac.”

“Emergence of self-destructive phenomena in children and adolescents during fluoxetine treatment,” published in the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (1991, vol.30), written by RA King, RA Riddle, et al, reports self-destructive phenomena in 14% (6/42) of children and adolescents (10-17 years old) who had treatment with fluoxetine (Prozac) for obsessive-compulsive disorder.

July, 1991. Journal of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Hisako Koizumi, MD, describes a thirteen-year-old boy who was on Prozac: “full of energy,” “hyperactive,” “clown-like.” All this devolved into sudden violent actions which were “totally unlike him.”

Wake up, parents. Your children are under grave threat from psychiatrists.

    Great idea from Jon Rappoport. It is time that both physicians and pharmaceutical companies are held responsible for the detrimental effects upon children and adults.

    • Eileen Kuch says:

      Absolutely, Eliza; it’s time that both physicians and pharmaceutical companies are held responsible for the detrimental effects of psychiatric drugs on toddlers, young children and teenagers. All of the school shooters except the one at a high school in St. Mary’s County. MD were on psychiatric drugs such as Ritalin since early childhood. Had they never been on these utterly dangerous psychiatric drugs, there wouldn’t have been these school tragedies.
      Jon Rappoport’s article on life sentences for doctors who prescribe such dangerous psychiatric drugs to toddlers, young children and teenagers should be read by all parents of toddlers, young children and teenagers; the problem is that parents aren’t aware of the dangers these psychiatric drugs really pose on these 3 age groups.

    This is life under capitalist medicine. Capitalism is economic warfare, a free-for-all in which those with money and power are allowed to enslave and steal, maim and murder, at will. The first casualty in war is the truth, health and freedom not far behind. The solution is a mixed economy with general social control. China is closer to this than we are.

    • henry says:

      This is not capitalism. If a capitalist lies to you, causing you to make a bad decision, you can sue for your money back and damages. If you cannot convince your neighbors that you’ve been harmed then you’re screwed. Even then, in a capitalist system, others can learn from your mistake (trusting the doctor). What we have now is socialism. The individual feels too stupid to make decisions and lets the experts do what they think is best. Usually, the doctors think that you need to be controlled via medication.

    • Henry Horner says:

      Allow me to suggest you are a ranting communist demagogue. You want to live like a communist, controlled in everything you say, do or earn by your superiors — Good Luck. I prefer to live — to earn what I have based on my intelligence and ability, thank you.

    • trishwriter says:

      If not being able to sue the drug manufacturers for vaccines (established in 1986, through government control) does not provide the “mixed economy” of which you speak, I don’t know what does. That’s just one of many examples of governmental interference.

      There is no free market in the U.S. medical cartel. Outlawing heroin and cocaine early in the 20th century, when drug addiction problems were few, was an early example of control. The “Flexner Report” and other government-adjacent programs interfered even more. If you are under the delusion that we have free market health care, please do more research.

      Btw, from what I understand, China’s “general social control” includes aborting babies, some of which are more than three months along in the womb, of mothers who desire to give birth. The problem is not the free market, which worked pretty well with health care until the early 20th century, but the government’s collusion with the wealthy social controllers, the latter of whom sponsored many of the early eugenics programs that have resulted in the culture of sickness and death that we see in the U.S. today.

    I’ve volunteered for over 20 years in inmate rehabilitation support. Mostly medium to long terms. The last one I brought into my home although he had been consistently problematic over 10 years of visitation. Don’t ask me why, some people just do this shit I guess. I simply knew he wasn’t going to make it on his own. He lasted 9 weeks.
    Leading to his final days I’d left him on his own for a week while on the other island. He’d settled in and was looking at getting a place of his own soon. All this is by arrangement with probation services. When I returned he seemed fine but soon revealed he’d stopped his meds – said he felt better without them. His behaviour became more obviously aberrant so I alerted his psychiatric support. 48 hours after I’d returned I heard him leave in the early hours. He’d taken off on his bike. When I found him he’d downed 12 foils of quetiapine he’d been prescribed and severed an artery inside his arm. The one-way ticket. If you can knock yourself out you miss the cardiac arrest – hopefully. Hand over wound until sleep takes over – they tell you these things.
    I stemmed the wound with a field dressing, he was going into shock. He evacuated but stayed conscious. It’s a longer story but ignoring my repeated appeal for his immediate safety (I knew his history), he was put in respite care by the psych team. Take down the motel sign and there’s your respite care. They also gave him his bike. He went missing four hours later. I scoured everywhere I could think of but he was finally spotted by a member of the public hanging under a low bridge two days later. I identified the body – he’d been there a while.
    So there you have it – it all turned to shit really.
    Oh and the medication he’d been on? And then off?
    Fluoxetine

    Jon, What an outstanding Idea!! I had an ADHD son that was born in 1989. He had more problems then his sister who was born in 1987. Those in the know know what the CDC did in 1988! My ex wife was using his ritalin all the time. Of coarse He’d get sent home when know one was home. Zero tolerance my ass!! When the hell did they put a shrink in the schools prescribing this shit anyways? In the 50’s the school nurse could only give a drink, a blanket, a bed, and call the parents.

    Boomers! We dropped the damn ball! Schools have become nothing more than an indoctrinating nanny center!

    I’m going to forward this to my state reps. of which one is a Dr., and the other day came out and said vaccines should be a choice.

        Trump has called MS-13 enemy combatants, and the government crooks will have a tribunal in Gitmo. (Marine Corps Security Force Company @ Naval Air Station Guantanamo Bay Cuba)

        Barry Soetoro should feel right at home. The crap going on with the FBI, and the Dept. of “Just-Us’ has had since Monday. I’d say Hillary would love to be the head councilor of her “Happy Camp” with a 1 – 1 ratio of MS-13 & crooked Public servants for the rest of there lives! Chelsea and her crooked husband and inlaws will join them. Then Chelsea as heir apparent can take over for HitLIARy as head of “Happy Camp”.

        The “Deep State” is in the death grip now. Austin TX isn’t nothing yet. It will get hairy! But since Hillary lost, the crap she and Barry had in plans to be used against us, will be used against them.

        diGenova is now a special prosecutor! My boot runneth over. The Global Wake Up is in high gear now. Thank God the world didn’t give up in the dyed in blue real Americans! We can make Gitmo bigger just like China. Vaccinate them all to “Keep them Safe” and feed them the GMO foods they pushed on us, and wash it down with some good old fluoride (Sodium hexafluorosilicate, fluorosilicic acid, ammonium fluorosilicate ) from China!

    Fighting the Crisis Next Door
    Two million Americans suffer from addiction to prescription or illicit opioids. In 2017, opioids killed more people than either car accidents or gun violence.

    “We’re announcing a new website, CrisisNextDoor.gov, where Americans can share their stories about the danger of the opioid addiction and addictions,” President Trump said yesterday in Manchester, New Hampshire. “This epidemic can affect anyone, and that’s why we want to educate everyone.”

    People have been taking these meds for a long time. It was all the rage, pushed hard 20 years ago. Teachers would recommend kids be evaluated, doctors saying it is hereditary, parents diagnosing their kids and themselves and everyone’d be popping those pills. Uppers, downers and everything else.

    Now it is accepted. Everyone has anxiety. Gotta take a pill for that. So new parents, who don’t understand how much love, energy and attention babies and children really need, and are already indoctrinated to believe these meds are good-safe-needed, and most likely are downing drugs themselves, drug their own babies.

    This has to stop.

    So now in the news, apparently christians are brain damaged. No joke, it has been studied. I don’t know why anyone would study this, but there it is. Brain damage linked to faith. Mental health linked to gun control and parental fitness. Ah, what the heck, let’s throw in voting rights, health freedom, and every other right you can imagine… See where this is going?

    I was doing my laundry the other day and a woman and her small child were in the laundromat – child must have been 4 or 5 maybe. Mom wasnt a rocket surgeon by any means, but I overheard her telling another patron that a doctor had recommended she put her daughter on meds to control her – she was just doing normal kid stuff, yelling and kicking a stuffed animal around, bored because there were no other kids her age to play with. The mom sounded a bit incredulous at the doctors recommendation, but it sounded tempting to her to get some peace and quiet.

  9. Roy says:

    The majority of the children given psychotropic drugs are in state custody and ripped away from the patental advocates. I cannot comprehend how this can be going on without an ulterior motive. My only conclusion is that the state is following the eugenics design of Julian Huxley and his followers.

    The state needs to mentally cripple the least wanted children and call them eugenic rejects due to poor offspring. That way the state can justify their desire to sterilize parents who are poor and unable to retain competent legal representation against the upperhanded state control legal system.

    Look around you. Every controversial topic on the news is all about population control!

    Republicans contol the population by Malthusian economic deprivation and supporting polypharmacy for the elderly.

    Democrats control population by abortion rights and polypharmacy to everyone.

  10. SM says:

    Hi Jon

  11. From Quebec says:

    Women who want kids, should stay at home and take care of them. But now, they send them to daycare facilities as soon as they are born, even before they are born, the mother already secured a place for the new born in the daycare facility What do they expect? What could possibly go wrong?

    Those poor kids are raised by strangers and gets no special love, no special care and no breastfeeding They are just part of the herd. And they are lucky if there are no pedophiles in the facilities.

    As soon as they reach the age to go to school, it is no better, because their parents cannot pick them up before 6 o’clock, since they both work. And then they wonder why their kids go off their rockers?

    Since the parents are so stupid, they take their kids to the doctors to try to fix the problem.
    Poor kids, after being injected with about 50 vaccines so far, the parents hope for a pill to erase the problem.

    For sure I blame the criminal doctors, but I put the blame on the parents first. Get educated you morons.

    • trishwriter says:

      We morons have been brainwashed. I remember being pregnant with my now 17-year-old and looking for daycare. I had read all the magazine articles, worked pretty much since I was 15, and had no desire to stay home with a baby. I was sold, however, on the whole breastfeeding thing and what I’d read about vaccines caused me to question the status quo on them. Maybe it’s because I am an adoptee, was not breastfed, and was separated from my natural family as an infant, but I just couldn’t see leaving my baby in a crib in one of those fancy expensive Santa Monica (where I was working at the time) daycare centers. I am thankful that I had enough maternal desire in me to see that was horrid for a baby. That said, I am one of the few who could see through all the malarkey I’d been taught via media and government schooling since my elementary school days. Some of my well-educated friends still couldn’t see through the brainwashing, soothing any guilt with the latest issue of “Working Mother.”

    WOW! We are flying high here…

    Today: Jon is saying: :How about life in prison for doctors who prescribe psychiatric drugs to toddlers?

    Yesterday, Trump calls for death penalty for opioid dealers

    Yeah Way to go!

    • Sunshine2 says:

      Life in prison is too kind. These drugs abuse people of all ages. The insanity of giving them to babies should shock people into awareness. If that doesn’t, I don’t know what will.

      • trishwriter says:

        And yet, a daddy I know is now in prison, with a mandatory 10-year sentence, because he dared to compete with licensed drug dealers. As Jon so correctly points out, the daddy only sold drugs to adults, not to children. Nonetheless, it was deemed a huge victory when the daddy was finally caught by some sociopaths with a badge; the front page of the paper in the small town where I grew up had a huge article, with the sheriff’s deputies almost slapping high-fives with each other over the capture of their latest victim. Even in the local gossip, people say things like, “No tellin’ how many people died from drugs he sold ’em,” with no one, of course, dare thinking about how many people have died from the same drugs that doctors, whom they worship, have prescribed. The doctors don’t even go to the funerals of those they’ve killed and a new pharmaceutical two-story drug-distribution center has been built–it is architecturally a beautiful thing and allows licensed drug dealers to continue to addict and kill, all with the government’s blessing, of course. Meanwhile, the daddy’s family struggles to raise his children and keep his land and visit him when they are allowed.

    • trishwriter says:

      I used to have a lot of respect for Alex Jones and InfoWars, but now, it’s becoming extremely obvious that he’s been bought and sold. Somehow, and maybe this is due to reading the writing of Jon and others, I can easily see through Trump’s scripted rhetoric also. Sure, these words of his may turn into a show and the pharma companies may be fined a few million dollars, but just like the eugenics movement (which it also may be a part of), pharmaceutical advertising and sales will continue. If Trump really wants to stop the influx of drugs and addiction, maybe he should defund certain agencies within the federal government. Problem. Crisis/Reaction. Solution. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

    The fact is more than 40% of “psychiatric medication” is prescribed by GPs. They have only 1 semester of psychiatry in medical school as well as basic Psychology and Biological Psychology as an undergrad. That doesn’t qualify them as a psychiatrist so, why are they allowed to prescribe something that is outside of their purview? Doctors have been sued for prescribing outside of their specialty, Why not GPs for prescribing psychiatric medications?
