Trump case: somebody will have to explain this to me

The judge gave the jury a menu of 3 charges to choose from. “Find him guilty of any of these and he’s guilty.” That’s a mind-boggler.

But that’s not all.

Trump was found guilty on “all 34 counts.”

In my universe, a charge is a count.

The judge gave the jury 3 choices and they voted guilty on 34?

Huh?

Mind your own business, Francis. You’ve got plenty of it.

In a CBS interview, the Infallible One has pronounced, “The Migrant has to be received.” Meaning: let them all in, and then sort them out, one at a time. After they’re in America, do a case by case exam and decide whether to keep each one or send him back.

I’m not kidding. That’s the Pope’s considered position.

See, only two or three migrants come across the whole border every week. And at that small dusty depot, US ICE personnel can casually make phone calls to law enforcement in any of 25 different foreign countries and obtain comprehensive background reports on these people. Uh-huh.

That’s the Pope’s picture.

RFK Jr. takes disastrous position on child transgender issue

In a recent video interview1, Kennedy was pressed on children undergoing transgender treatments.

At first, Kennedy declared that children should not be allowed to receive these treatments without parents’ permission.

That seems to imply he would approve of the medical treatment as long as parents approve.

The interviewer jumps on the attack. Kennedy then says (amazingly, pleading ignorance) that he doesn’t know enough about the transgender drugs involved.

He repeats this for emphasis.

I’ll give you the bottom line. A TREATY needs the signature of the US President plus a 2/3 vote of approval in the Senate.

An AGREEMENT only needs the President’s signature, and America is committed to go along with the document.

I’ve been communicating with a media person at the World Health Organization (WHO). It took several exchanges to clarify what’s going on here.

What we’ve been told is the WHO Pandemic Treaty is actually labeled an Agreement.

This is dire.

I was up on my roof wearing triple thick glasses watching the eclipse when I saw movement at the edge of the woods.

Jim, my talking dog, emerged. He trotted toward my house, stopped, sat down, shook his head like he’d just emerged from a lake, and swatted at the air with his paw. He was disturbed.

I climbed down the ladder and ran toward him.

I sat down next to him and waited while he pulled himself together.

“The eclipse isn’t anything to worry about,” I said.

“The eclipse is nothing,” Jim said. “I just met a THING. What the hell are you humans doing?”
