Politics=the pretense of Rescue From Above

This is a series worth watching. Season 4 has just been released.

The language of politics is the language of lying, and it’s hard to recall any other piece of modern fiction about politics that reveals this fact so forcefully and nakedly.

President Frank Underwood; his wife Claire; Will Conway, his opponent in the upcoming election; numerous other characters moving in and out of that orbit—they lie, and they lie all the time, and they especially lie when they profess humanitarian motives, when they express sympathy and caring, when they proclaim hope for a better future. The Good, in fact, is their front-and-center cover story. Whenever The Good is the subject (and when isn’t it?), they pretend to care, but they only and always pretend—because accumulating power is their only desire—and you see the double-faced charade on the screen again and again, until you accept the lying language as business as usual. As the way things are done.

The House of Cards writers are relentless about exposing how political language is used. They don’t back off. They don’t leave any loopholes.

President Frank Underwood is the chief faker.

At the end of season 4, he and his wife, Claire, have made up their minds that their potential exposure (past crimes) is too great to finesse: they must go on an all-out attack. As a grand diversion.

They will “make terror.” They will evoke terrorist high-panic in the American public, and then wage war against the terrorists. They’ll play both sides against the middle.

At last, they know what they must do, and they’re at peace with it. It’s the final answer. Up until now, they’ve only gone part of the way. That didn’t give them protection. So they’ll finish the job.

Their logic is predictable, given what politics is really all about. The only issue is: how far will they go? They have come to the conclusion: there is no limit.

The public, of course, cannot accept such an idea. The public is always fooled on that score. The public always wants to believe The Good is emanating from their own leaders. That is the public’s version of logic, and it too is predictable within a naive bubble of ultimate faith and hope.

House of Cards doesn’t bother exposing how the press aids and abets this faith. It focuses on the main players within the political establishment. In doing so, it teaches a lesson: those players can enlist sympathy, even as they commit one crime after another. Those key players have charm. They have intelligence. They have magnetic force. They are projections of “how to play the game.” They are determined not to lose. They refuse to accept the nets closing in around them. They don’t back down. They never give in to the urge to surrender. They never believe their own lies—they are, thus, much smarter than the public.

At the same time, the viewer sees how transparent these players are. They fall far short of being geniuses. In a half-sane world, they would have been banished to a desert island long ago. But this is not a half-sane world. The People want Hope. They’ll do anything to believe it’s available, from an external source.

Well, this is the external source: Frank and Claire Underwood. A rolled-up duo of implacable hatred. As Claire finally says: “I’m done appealing to the hearts of people; that doesn’t work; now I have to bring out the fear; build it; stoke it.” She isn’t whistling Dixie. In her position as the First Lady and Frank’s vice-presidential running mate, she can do something about it, and she intends to. The two of them will do it together.

House of Cards has nothing to do with gender politics in the usual sense. Claire’s star is rising. She is taking over the reins from her husband. Her coldness has come to equal, and even surpass, his. He, in decline, needs her to stay alive, to function. She is equal to the task.

The silent invisible character in House of Cards is the public, the population, with its unquenchable desire to believe, to hope, to wish—and to fall for the con.

In recent years, we’ve seen several Presidential candidates who haven’t followed the usual script. They haven’t played up the “rescue from above” tune. Ron Paul, Rand Paul, and Trump. Regardless of what you think of them, they’ve broken the mold.

They’ve begun to make the House of Cards paradigm of politics a bit shaky.

But back to RESCUE FROM ABOVE…

Chicago: are jobs and money better than poverty and protests?

As protestors shut down the Trump rally in Chicago, the divide and conquer op in America reaches a new level.

And where in all this is Obama’s promise of Hope and Change? Nowhere.

Jobs have been fleeing America for a long time now. It’s the Globalist “free trade” plan, and it’s made more poverty and more discontent, right on schedule.

It’s come to the point where many people don’t even want a fix, don’t even want a reversal. They only want to protest. They only want a change from despair to anger.

They want to be a permanent underclass dependent on the government (rescue from above), and at best they seek a new President who will make that dependence more comfortable—as if that were possible.

They no longer see jobs tied to money as a solution. It’s not acceptable to them.

If that is an organizing principle, if that brings people together, then you have…what? You have violence. You have destruction. You have a growing revolution with no aim to change things for the better. In that atmosphere, the only government capable of surviving is a government which promises more Something for Nothing.

And Something for Nothing always has conditions. They add up to greater top-down control, “on behalf of the people.”

“We will give you more. In return, do what we tell you to do. We care. We know what’s best. We work for you. We feel your pain.”

That’s the current sales pitch, of course, but it will rise to new heights.

The one candidate who exemplifies it is Bernie Sanders, who, in his lifetime in Congress, has accomplished virtually nothing.

The subliminal message coming out of Bernie is: “All business is bad. All capitalism is bad. All free enterprise is bad and unfair. Adults are unfair to children. The problem can be solved by government.” Rescue from above.

How that works is a mystery, because it doesn’t work. It never has.

The stark reality is: government doesn’t create jobs over the long-term. Unless you want the USSR. Then everyone has a job. A bad one. Bad job, bad pay, mediocre mindset. No one may rise higher than his neighbor. To do so would be offensive.

In a country like America, you could sell that program as a worker’s utopia for about six months. Until the naïve realized it was very much like living in a slave camp with a cell phone and Facebook.

If I were Bernie Sanders, this is what I would say: “Here is my plan. Here is my rescue from above. Every person in American over the age of 17 who doesn’t make $35,000 a year will get a government check to make sure they do make $35,000 a year. Anyone who makes more than $50,000 a year is a thief and a crook and a capitalist. So whatever they make in excess of 50K will be taken away from them. In addition, every child in America can attend college, regardless of grades or background, for six years. No charge. Every child will get a college diploma, even if they don’t attend classes. For every protest you attend while at college, you’ll receive half an ounce of prime weed. If you hold a Kill Capitalism or I Don’t Need no Stinkin’ Job sign at eight rallies, you’ll receive a virtual reality headset.”

On the basis of that statement, I would expect Bernie rallies to draw upwards of 100,000 people.

Forget socialism. We’re past that. Nobody works. Bring on full-bore automation in every company in America.

Schools have one and only one goal: remove personal ambition from every mind.

“Yeah, I remember it like yesterday, even though it was so long ago, my child. That night in Chicago was the beginning of the real revolution. We started to realize what we really wanted. Nothing. Everything. Know what I mean? We were crazy then. We had to be. That night is why you have this great 150-foot square apartment in an affluent section of town, and the virtual reality and the free drugs and the sleep machine and the protest schools and the no-classes and no teachers…”

“That night is why you have the 250 vaccines in you and the hospital complex that takes up half the Southwest, where you go every year to get your updated psychiatric diagnosis and the gold badge you proudly wear that tells everybody what condition you have, so you all have something to talk about…”

All is well.

Rescue from above is the grand pretense and the grand op.

It can be packaged and sold in so many ways.

After 30 years of working as a reporter and digging into scandals which were falsely sold on the “rescue” basis, I gave a talk at a conference in California, and I presented my alternative. I said:

“I’m selling you to you.”

That’s my pitch.

I’m selling what you are, underneath it all, and what you can be, and these are things only you know. I can point to them.

But I can’t and won’t try to pile up what you should think and what you should decide and what you should do.

You have two great capacities: the ability to reason and analyze; and the infinite ability to imagine.

Imagination takes you into your own future and opens it up without limit. Then you can decide how you want to invent it.

Imagination is everything that doesn’t already exist.

Imagination demolishes all versions of waiting around for rescue from above. Imagination is the fire. The great adventure.

Imagination is you inventing what was previously unknown.

Imagination is independence.

Every person has imagination and, therefore, the potential for independence.

If “politics” has anywhere to go, that’s where.

That’s where the lying and the manipulation and the crimes can stop.

With the individual.

When the illusion of rescue is replaced by imagination and creative fire, then all things are possible…

Then there is thought that occurs when one is creating something that never existed before. To blithely say that ‘externally inserted’ mind control can replace all levels of thinking without a person being aware of what is going on is foolish.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)

Consciousness wants to create new consciousness, and it can. Imagination is how it does it. If there were some ultimate state of consciousness, imagination would always be able to play another card and take it further.

In any arena of life, and especially when it comes to the mind, perception, power, empathy, and so on, there is always a status quo. It’s merely the place where a person says, “Well, that’s enough. I’ll settle for what I have. I’ll stop here.”

Sooner or later, this leads to boredom, frustration, problems, and conflict. It leads to a decline.

Imagination, which knows no bounds, is the source for the most adventurous explorations. It can have great impact on the material world, of course, but one mustn’t therefore conclude it is composed of matter or energy. Imagination is non-material. To think otherwise winds you up in using some version of physics to depict imagination—and then you are imposing limits on it. This is an error. Imagination doesn’t obey any laws of physics.

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, we’ve flattered reality enough. It doesn’t need any more. Imagination creates new realities.

You can create the same thing over and over, and eventually you’ll be about as alive as a table. Inject imagination into the mix, and everything suddenly changes. You can steer that boat anywhere you want to.

The lowest common denominator of consensus signals an absence of imagination: everyone agrees; everyone is bored; everyone is obedient. On the opposite end of the spectrum, there are massive floods of unique individual creation, and then that sought-after thing called abundance is as natural as the sun rising in the morning.

Sitting around in a cosmic bus station waiting for reality is what reality is. Everything else is imagination.

There are those who believe life is a museum. You walk through the rooms, find one painting, stroll into it and take up permanent residence. But the museum is endless. If you were a painter, you’d never decide to live inside one of your canvases forever. You’d keep on painting.

The relentless and obsessive search for all those things on which we can agree is a confession of bankruptcy.

When we re-learn to live through and by imagination, we enter and invent new space and time.

With imagination, one can solve a problem. More importantly, one can skip ahead of the problem and render it null and void.

Imagination isn’t a system. It might invent systems, but it is non-material. It’s a capacity. It feels no compulsion to imitate reality. It makes realities. Its scope is limited only by a person’s imagining of how far imagination can go.

The human race is obsessed by the question: what exists? It appears to be a far easier question than: what do you want to create? This comparison explains why civilizations decline.

Imagination is a path. Walking on that path long enough, you find answers to all the questions you’ve ever asked, as an incidental side effect of the journey. You also find power that most people only dream of.

What has been called The Matrix is a series of layers. These layers compose what we call Reality. Reality is not merely the consensus people accept in their daily lives. During my 30 years as a reporter covering “the news behind the news,” I’ve seen countless instances in which the Matrix shows up, swims into view.

The Matrix, the central image, is a lie. But not just any lie.

It is very deep, shared, hypnotic picture of reality.

People need more power—more individual power, so they can both stand and operate outside the Matrix.

The entire mural of imposed Reality is aimed at radically diminishing the individual’s power.

So in addition to my work as an investigative reporter, I’ve been researching the individual’s ability to go beyond this mural of reality.

Power Outside The Matrix, my third collection, is all about being able to think, act, and create both outside and inside The Matrix. Because that’s the goal: to be able to function in both places.

As many of my loyal readers know, for many moons, I’ve been relentless about attacking the sacred institutions of society, and with good reason. That doesn’t mean I want failure. I know people who do, and I avoid them like the plague.

On the other hand, I also know people who, operating on far less than a full deck, go through life with an empty glazed grin, and believe the (fill in the blank) are coming from the sky to rescue us. That’s another kind of plague.

You could say I inhabit a space between those two, which as it turns out is far larger than both of them put together. It actually has no limit. It opens up when you live through and by imagination.

It’s true home, and it always was.

This is about your power. Not as an abstract idea, but as a living core of your being. This is about accessing that power, expanding it, and using it.

On this road, there are no limits.

Who is in charge of destroying economies?

Who sets that policy? Who keeps it intact, despite new legislators and Presidents exiting and entering office?

Who keeps pushing new economy-destroying trade treaties, like the upcoming TPP? Who demands that these treaties must be ratified?

A number of groups—but one group has been virtually forgotten. Its influence is enormous. It has existed since 1973.

It’s called the Trilateral Commission (TC).

In a minute, I’m going to print a stunning piece of forgotten history, a 1978 conversation between a US reporter and two members of the Trilateral Commission.

I discovered the conversation in the late 1980s, and ever since then, I’ve been looking at it from various angles, finding new implications. Here, I want to point out that the conversation was public knowledge at the time.

Anyone who was anyone in Washington politics, in media, in think-tanks, had access to it. Understood its meaning.

But no one shouted from the rooftops. No one used the conversation to force a scandal. No one protested loudly.

The conversation revealed that the entire basis of the US Constitution had been torpedoed, that the people who were running US national policy (which includes trade treaties) were agents of an elite shadow group. No question about it.

And yet: official silence. Media silence. The Dept. of Justice made no moves, Congress undertook no serious inquiries, and the President, Jimmy Carter, issued no statements. Carter was himself a covert agent of the Trilateral Commission in the White House, a willing pawn, a rank con artist, a hustler. He had been plucked from obscurity and, through elite TC press connections, vaulted into the spotlight as a pre-eminent choice for the Presidency.

To boil down the 1978 conversation between the reporter and two Trilateral Commission members, and the follow-on response:

“The US has been taken over.”

“Yeah, so?”

Many people think the TC, created in 1973 by David Rockefeller, is a relic of an older time.

Think again.

Patrick Wood, author of Trilaterals Over Washington, points out there are only 87 members of the Trilateral Commission who live in America. Obama appointed eleven of them to posts in his administration.

For example:

* Tim Geithner, Treasury Secretary

* James Jones, National Security Advisor

* Paul Volker, Chairman, Economic Recovery Committee

* Dennis Blair, Director of National Intelligence

Several other noteworthy Trilateral members:

* George HW Bush

* Bill Clinton

* Dick Cheney

* Al Gore

Keep in mind that the original stated goal of the TC was to create “a new international economic order.”

In the run-up to his inauguration after the 2008 presidential election, Obama was tutored by the co-founder of the Trilateral Commission, Zbigniew Brzezinski.

Brzezinski wrote, four years before birthing the TC with his godfather, David Rockefeller:

“[The] nation state as a fundamental unit of man’s organized life has ceased to be the principal creative force. International banks and multinational corporations are acting and planning in terms that are far in advance of the political concepts of the nation state.”

Any doubt on the question of TC goals is answered by David Rockefeller himself, the founder of the TC, in his Memoirs (2003):

“Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure—one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”

Okay. Here is a close-up snap shot of a remarkable moment from out of the past. It’s through-the-looking-glass—a conversation between reporter, Jeremiah Novak, and two Trilateral Commission members, Karl Kaiser and Richard Cooper. The interview took place in 1978. It concerned the issue of who exactly, during President Carter’s administration, was formulating US economic and political policy.

The careless and off-hand attitude of Trilateralists Kaiser and Cooper is astonishing. It’s as if they’re saying, “What we’re revealing is already out in the open, it’s too late to do anything about it, why are you so worked up, we’ve already won…”

NOVAK (the reporter): Is it true that a private [Trilateral committee] led by Henry Owen of the US and made up of [Trilateral] representatives of the US, UK, West Germany, Japan, France and the EEC is coordinating the economic and political policies of the Trilateral countries [which would include the US]?

COOPER: Yes, they have met three times.

NOVAK: Yet, in your recent paper you state that this committee should remain informal because to formalize ‘this function might well prove offensive to some of the Trilateral and other countries which do not take part.’ Who are you afraid of?

KAISER: Many countries in Europe would resent the dominant role that West Germany plays at these [Trilateral] meetings.

COOPER: Many people still live in a world of separate nations, and they would resent such coordination [of policy].

NOVAK: But this [Trilateral] committee is essential to your whole policy. How can you keep it a secret or fail to try to get popular support [for its decisions on how Trilateral member nations will conduct their economic and political policies]?

COOPER: Well, I guess it’s the press’ job to publicize it.

NOVAK: Yes, but why doesn’t President Carter come out with it and tell the American people that [US] economic and political power is being coordinated by a [Trilateral] committee made up of Henry Owen and six others? After all, if [US] policy is being made on a multinational level, the people should know.

COOPER: President Carter and Secretary of State Vance have constantly alluded to this in their speeches.

KAISER: It just hasn’t become an issue.

This interview slipped under the mainstream media radar, which is to say, it was ignored and buried.

US economic and political policy run by a committee of the Trilateral Commission—the Commission had been created in 1973 as an “informal discussion group” by David Rockefeller and his sidekick, Zbigniew Brzezinski.

When Carter won the presidential election, his aide, Hamilton Jordan, said that if after the inauguration, Cy Vance and Brzezinski came on board as secretary of state and national security adviser, “We’ve lost. And I’ll quit.” Lost—because both men were powerful members of the Trilateral Commission and their appointment to key positions would signal a surrender of White House control to the Commission.

Vance and Brzezinski were appointed secretary of state and national security adviser, as Jordan feared. But he didn’t quit. He became Carter’s chief of staff.

Now consider the vast propaganda efforts of the past 40 years, on so many levels, to install the idea that all nations and peoples of the world are a single Collective.

From a very high level of political and economic power, this propaganda op has had the objective of grooming the population for a planet that is one coagulated mass, run and managed by one force. A central engine of that force is the Trilateral Commission.

How does a shadowy group like the TC accomplish its goal? One basic strategy is: destabilize nations; ruin their economies; ratify trade treaties that effectively send millions and millions of manufacturing jobs off to places where virtual slave labor does the work; adding insult to injury, export the cheap products of those slave-factories back to the nations who lost the jobs and undercut their domestic manufacturers, forcing them to close their doors and fire still more employees.

And then solve that economic chaos by bringing order.

What kind of order?

One planet, with national borders erased, under one management system, with a planned global economy, “to restore stability,” “for the good of all, for lasting harmony.”

The top Trilateral players, in 2008, had their man in the White House, another formerly obscure individual, like Jimmy Carter: Barack Obama. They had new trade treaties on the planning table. Obama was tasked with doing whatever was necessary to bring those treaties, like the TPP, home. To get them passed. To get them ratified. No excuses.

That’s why, months ago, when anti-TPP criticism and rhetoric was reaching a crescendo, when Obama was seeking Congressional fast-track approval of the treaty, he was in a sweat and a panic. He and his cabinet were on the phones night and day, scrambling and scraping for votes in Congress. This was the Big One. This was why he was the President. To make this happen.

His bosses were watching.

These men run US policy, when and where it counts. They don’t tolerate failure.

This is also why, after Obama was inaugurated for his first term, he shocked and astonished his own advisors, who expected him, as the first order of business, to address the unemployment issue in America. He shocked them by ignoring the number-one concern of Americans, and instead decided to opt for his disastrous national health insurance policy—Obamacare.

Why? Because he never had any intention of trying to dig America out of the crash of 2008. That wasn’t why he was put in the Oval Office. He could, and would, pretend to bring back the economy, with fudged numbers and distorted standards. But really and truly, create good-paying jobs for many, many Americans? Not on the TC agenda. Not in the cards.

It was counter-productive to the TC plan to torpedo the economy further.

It still is.

Now you have deeper background on the source of the political/media establishment’s panic and hysteria about Donald Trump. That establishment has received its marching orders. Take Trump down.

As far as the Trilaterals are concerned, it doesn’t matter whether The Donald is just blustering and bloviating about bringing jobs back to America, creating new prosperity, and “making America great again.” What matters is, he is raising the issue forcefully, out in the open. And huge numbers of people are responding. They’re confirming that the Obama economic recovery is a lie.

Trump has opened up an unprotected front in the war to sink the US economy. Suddenly, his supporters, like shock troops, are pouring through.

The censorship blocking discussion of the true state of the union has been cracked.

The genie must be put back in the bottle.

But by whom?

What Presidential candidate can now convince the people that all is well, good jobs are plentiful, and the country is prosperous again? Who can float that absurd lie and make people believe it?

If she can stop coughing, sputtering, cackling, switching accents, and grinning like a circus clown on meth, the task falls to Hillary.

Good luck with that one.

Maybe she should come right out and say: “You know me. I love wars. Put me in the Oval, and I’ll launch more wars than you can shake a stick at. And then you’ll see some goddamn prosperity. Everyone has a job in a full-bore wartime economy.”

It’s such a secret place, only heavy hitters and big shots can fly in, from private airports—which, by the way, have no TSA security. So they could have been packing heat for all we know. Or bags of blood for nighttime drink fests.

Sea Island is where they met. It’s in the same Georgia gaggle as the infamous Jekyll Island, where the Federal Reserve was born many moons ago. But now the goal was narrow: stop the crazy cowboy; stop Trump.

Were secret effigy-burning rituals held? Hard to say. Did one of the tech giants unveil a new algorithm that would suddenly direct all Trump remarks to a new Hitler Facebook page?

Here are some of the Island attendees, according to the Huffington Post (“At Secretive Meeting, Tech CEOs And Top Republicans Commiserate, Plot To Stop Trump,” 3/7/2016). Get this:

“Apple CEO Tim Cook, Google co-founder Larry Page, Napster creator and Facebook investor Sean Parker, and Tesla Motors and SpaceX honcho Elon Musk all attended. So did Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), political guru Karl Rove, House Speaker Paul Ryan, GOP Sens. Tom Cotton (Ark.), Cory Gardner (Colo.), Tim Scott (S.C.), Rob Portman (Ohio) and Ben Sasse (Neb.), who recently made news by saying he ‘cannot support Donald Trump.’

“Along with Ryan, the House was represented by Energy and Commerce Committee Chair Fred Upton (Mich.), Rep. Kevin Brady (Texas) and almost-Speaker Kevin McCarthy (Calif.), sources said, along with leadership figure Cathy McMorris Rodgers (Wash.), Budget Committee Chairman Tom Price (R-Ga.), Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (Texas) and Diane Black (Tenn.).

“Philp Anschutz, the billionaire GOP donor whose company owns a stake in Sea Island, was also there, along with Democratic Rep. John Delaney, who represents Maryland. Arthur Sulzberger, the publisher of The New York Times, was there, too, a Times spokeswoman confirmed.”

Quite a collection. And they all have hernias and a major case of red-ass about the crazy cowboy running for President.

At the confab, Karl Rove, the old grubby prince of darkness, opined that stopping Trump was a matter of emphasizing how un-Presidential he is. Karl’s come a long way down since his glory days with George W. I’m told he’s about to launch his own Daily Racing Form.

Henry Miller, the American writer who, in his time, in his own way, was as reviled and infamous as Trump is now, once wrote (paraphrasing): People say America needs a President who will restore sanity to the country. That’s wrong. What American needs is a President who’ll drive everybody crazy.

Well, here he is. Trump. The gilded, self-inflating hustler who’s never met a success story (of his own) he didn’t love. Trump. The master of off-the-cuff. The ham-fisted swaggering hair stylist’s nightmare who pushes open the swinging doors to The Secret Club bar and strides in, bat-shit angry, to lecture snooty tight-ass titans on how to make America great again.

“I was telling my wife the other day I should buy Alaska. And by the way, we’re going to dump Common Core, and vaccines cause autism.”

What’s the algorithm that stops that?

Regardless of what happens from this point on, Trump’s major contribution to Presidential elections is smashing standard political rhetoric; and that’s no small accomplishment. Next to him, Hillary and Obama and Mitt and Marco are 100% pharmaceutical-grade Thorazine on a slow Sunday afternoon.

Hillary, in particular, can make bloodthirsty war-mongering with torn bodies lying everywhere come across like row-row-row-your-boat at a picnic in the park, in between her coughing fits.

But here’s the thing, Donald. You haven’t gone far enough.

To destroy the walking-dead politicians of our time, you need to get a lot crazier—on your own live-streaming webcasts, night and day, to five million, 10 million, 20 million people around the world. From your car, by your fireplace in Trump Tower, in a Burger King, in the men’s room at the Pierre Hotel, in a homeless encampment in San Diego, on a lonely snowy street in Cleveland at 3 in the morning. Ramp it up.

You’re standing in the field of a family farm in the Midwest with a hollow-faced man whose life has been blown away by Monsanto, with its GMO crops and cancer-causing Roundup. There you are talking to him, the farmer, destitute, his family destitute, near a giant acre of weeds eight feet high that resisted Roundup and didn’t die. His crop yield shrank. His expenses, courtesy of Monsanto, grew. He went down. Talk to the man. Listen to his story. Beam it out to 20 million people. Tell him how you’re going to help him put himself back together. Lay out a plan to resurrect the small farmer in America.

Stand inside a building in Chicago where people have built their own urban farm and grow vegetables for the local poor community, for themselves. Show what a success it is. Listen to these people. Tell them how you’re going help them build 5000 of these urban farms in poverty-stricken inner cities across America. People are going to rise up. They’re not going to be a permanent underclass eating government cheese for the rest of their lives.

Sit in a homeless camp with veterans of wars and listen to their stories, listen to how the VA threw them in the garbage heap, after they served their time. Get busy, Donald. These vets are all over America. They have something to say. Don’t hold back. Tell them what’s happened in Iraq and Afghanistan since they were there. Some of them already know. Let them tell you how those countries have gone down the toilet. Raise hell.

In a trailer park, talk to a few former members of the American middle-class, who were shoved down into debt and unemployment by the fanatic Globalist export of jobs to faraway hell holes where workers slave for 3 cents an hour. In fact, under heavy guard, visit a few of those overseas hell holes and expose what they look like and feel like and are. Go the distance.

Travel the southern border of America. Live-stream what’s happening. Talk to US border personnel. Listen to their stories. Emphasize that the US already has 60 million immigrants living here, which makes it the most generous country, per capita, in the world. Talk to Mexican corn farmers coming up into America. Let them describe how 1.5 million of them were put into bankruptcy, because the NAFTA trade treaty allowed US companies to flood Mexico with cheap corn.

Crack the egg of slumber in the Big Cocoon. With your live webcasts, pull in more viewers than NCIS and CSI. Drive your former employer, NBC, crazy.

Talk to truckers and limo drivers and shoe salesmen and working wives and newly minted PhDs who can’t find work. Talk to people on the street, people in bars, people coming out churches and strip clubs and malls.

Tear down the walls between politicians and people.

You’re starting to sound a bit mainstream these days. You’re not going to “work with Congress.” Congress isn’t going to work with you. Get off that horse. Okay, you want to sound like a “unifier” who “likes people”? Do that for a day. But then get back to doing what you were before. Mangling politicians and media buffoons.

People talk like robots because they are robots. That’s your opening, Donald. Keep pressing it. Destroy political-speak. Rake it over the coals. Offend more human androids. Your numbers will keep rising.

Improvise.

I keep writing about the Trump phenomenon because it’s explosive. It intrudes on so much business-as-usual political life in America. I really want to drive home this point. People, so many people, are so timid and scared and provincial and tight—and they think that the usual parade of ghouls who run for office in this country is acceptable because the candidates mouth empty dead words. People expect the walking smiling dead to run for office. Big grins, empty words. That’s considered safe, despite the fact that these hideous creatures are perfectly ready and willing to send planes anywhere to drop bombs on populations for no goddamn good reason. But as long as the candidate has a wan shit-eating grin, and as long as says he’s caring, it’s all right. Then Trump comes along and he’s suddenly the Dangerous One. He’s suddenly a threat. You mean all those other ghouls weren’t? He’s Hitler, and they were messiahs? Are you kidding? All of a sudden we have a dangerous Presidential candidate where there were none before? REALLY? People are getting so worked up about the first dangerous candidate in recent memory? REALLY?

I see. Building a wall is the worst idea ever to occur in America? Nothing like it? Ever? What about Vietnam? 1.4 million dead bodies, countless wounded, and even more suffering cancers and birth defects from Agent Orange. That was nothing compared to the suggestion of building a wall on the southern border? What about bombing Libya, ripping that country to shreds? Might have been a mistake, but it was nothing compared with the suggestion to build a wall? Putting in economic sanctions between the two wars in Iraq and thereby killing 500,000 children? Sad, but nothing compared to the suggestion of building a wall?

The White House funding, backing, creating, arming ISIS in conjunction with US allies? Yes, perhaps a regrettable error in judgment, but nothing compared to the suggestion of building a wall?

Bush 1, Clinton, Bush 2, Obama? Angels from heaven.

Trump? The anti-Christ.

Well, that settles that.

Get busy, Donald, push harder. Do a webcast to 20 million people from a bar off Wall Street, where you chat with an ex-broker about the giant ongoing con called investment banking, the astonishing ripoffs, the real details of the bailout.

Visit a half-deserted town where a factory closed and went to Asia to make their products on the cheap. Talk to the people of that town as they sit and wait for something to happen that’s never going to happen.

Assemble a group of media people who were drummed out of their profession for speaking the truth about vital scandals and let them talk. Have a conversation about what lies under the surface of American life, about the themes the stuffed media shirts who still have their jobs are concealing, as they attack you around the clock. Break open the whole stinking mess and show it to the American people, and reveal what their robot-talking politicians have been doing to them.

For a long, long time.

Coda—I realize I’m branching out into an area where the actual Donald Trump doesn’t exist. The disruptive force that he is may have, behind it all, severe limits. He may only want to upset a few apple carts. He’s only a moon rising, and never goes full. On the other hand, we’ve never seen a politician who is what he should be. And we need to flesh out a better idea about who that is, as an intensely disruptive radical force, in the best and original sense of that word.

“Radical” equals “root.”

Politics as it never was. But could be.

Not the skunk-ridden Leftist hideous mask of “we care,” behind which commissars try to drive us all into a shit heap of senseless lowest-common-denominator equality. Not the Rightest pork-fat scumbags pushing predatory corporations to make more weapons and take over more countries in the name of fatuous democracy. Not the Centrists who work both sides against the middle.

No.

Instead, radical.

The root.

The place where the individual has a vision and follows it. The place where such individuals come together and make futures of freedom.

“Solutions to private problems and public problems require the ability to think things through, logically, and to reject what is unworkable or biased—but above and beyond that, a person needs to be able to imagine solutions that haven’t been tried before. He can’t keep asking other people to invent solutions for him. This is the hardest lesson. The habit of demanding that others come up with answers, that others find a way out of the tunnel—this habit is based on the assumption that one’s own power of imagination is grossly limited, which is a lie. You might say it is the central lie.”

“The world says defect from your own power. Never find out what it is. Assume it isn’t there. The world says all life is about the species, not about the individual. The world says you should use every excuse in the book to define how small and helpless you are.”

“When propagandists find a good thing, a message that works, they pound on it, they keep hammering away. Family, group, family, group, community. On and on. They never promote the message called The Individual with the same intensity. That would be counter-productive to what they are trying to accomplish: group identity; and amnesia about being an individual.”

“Individual power doesn’t need to make rigid distinctions between what is done for self vs. what is done for others. Social engineers and propagandists make those separations. You exercise your creative power to fulfill what you deeply desire; and that process will, in fact, spill over and affect others in a positive way. It will lift them up. It will remind them that they, too, have power.”

“Logic and analysis keeps you from being sent down wrong roads, keeps you from buying official reality. Logic also reminds you that you have a mind. Logic also lets you know when you’re projecting basic pre-judgments over a whole landscape and neglecting to look at the details.”

It’s a moment of reflection, or it’s yet one more excuse for inaction and passivity. “What can we do about it all?” is a misdirected question. The actual target of that question is you. You’re asking yourself. And with your power, you can find an answer.”

“In case there is any misunderstanding, the ability to help others and defend them from oppression is part and parcel of your own power. How could you help them without your power? How could you accomplish anything at all in that direction? How would denying your own power possibly result in a good outcome? And most importantly, it is through imagination that you can devise new ways to expose and reduce oppression, ways that haven’t been thought of before.”

“As society continues to decay, more and people attack individual power and place their faith in a program that reduces every human to a lowest common denominator of dependence on some controlling entity. This article of faith is surrender.”

“Some people want to say that power is a neutral object that can be used for good or evil. That isn’t true. Your deepest power is alive. It’s personal. It’s stunningly energetic and dynamic. It connects with your deepest understanding of what is true and good and right. But it never sacrifices itself on the altar of what others insist is good and true and right. It never deserts you for an abstract ideology someone else has devised. That ideology was formulated, in fact, to separate you from your power.”

Hillary is the standard image of a politician. Yes, there is a standard. Talk in empty generalities with fake passion and fake caring. Claim that “experience” is vital. “I have close relationships with world leaders.” Be on top with social issues. “I’m for women, I’m for African Americans.”

It’s really the fakery that assures voters. “Well, she’s completely full of it, but that’s what I expect from a President. That’s what a President looks like and sounds like. We’ve made it to 2016 with a full parade of fakers in the Oval Office, so why should we stop now?”

This is called the power of hypnotism.

Trump, of course, breaks the mold. He’s crazy, he wants to build a wall. He wants to cancel trade treaties. He smack-talks the media and other politicians. He’s a dismissive blowhard. He’s real estate operator. Forget it. All this is anti-hypnotic and therefore disturbing. “How dare you stir me from my slumber. I’m angry at you, and I would never vote for a man who makes me angry. I want to be smoothed.”

But let’s do a comparison. Worst case (for those who hate Trump), he’s elected. He’s in the Oval. He actually builds a wall and keeps out immigrants (thereby limiting racist America to 60 million immigrants living here, the bastard). He ups the Pentagon budget. He does a few bombing runs in foreign lands. He tries to bring corporate factories and jobs back to America. He tries to negate Globalist trade treaties. He exacerbates racial and religious tensions at home (no recent President has done that, right?).

What about Hillary? The standard President. The one with experience and common sense and perspective.

Jeffrey Sachs, writing at the Huffington Post, about Hillary, offers this (“Hillary Is the Candidate of the War Machine,” 2/5/2016):

“It is hard to know the roots of this record of disaster. Is it chronically bad judgment? Is it her preternatural faith in the lying machine of the CIA? Is it a repeated attempt to show that as a Democrat she would be more hawkish than the Republicans? Is it to satisfy her hardline campaign financiers? Who knows? Maybe it’s all of the above. But whatever the reasons, hers is a record of disaster. Perhaps more than any other person, Hillary can lay claim to having stoked the violence that stretches from West Africa to Central Asia and that threatens US security.”

She advised her husband, the President, to bomb Serbia in 1999.

She voted to invade Iraq in 2002.

She urged military escalation in the failed war in Afghanistan.

She pushed and pushed Obama to bomb Libya, which is now a desperate non-nation torn to shreds. “We came, we saw, he (Ghaddafi) died.” Cackle, cackle.

She pushed for regime change (covert war) in Syria.

She stumped for NATO incursions in the Ukraine and Georgia.

Death. Maiming. Wounding. Chaos. Populations living in an aftermath of horror.

But…no problem. It was always somewhere else. It wasn’t here. That’s standard for a President. Kill people in invisible places. Play it down. Invent fairy tales to explain it. “Spreading Democracy.” Yes, that works. Happens all the time.

Trump is a cowboy racist Nazi who can’t be stomached. Hillary is fine. She’s easy. Maybe she loves Monsanto, but that’s just a bump in the road. Health-food devotees can petition her for GMO labeling. Sure. That’s an adequate response. Rainbows and marshmallows.

Anyway, she’s a woman. Women don’t kill people. Except when they do. In foreign lands, craziness is happening we can’t begin to understand—it’s complicated, this national security business, this CIA business, this Globalist business, this military-industrial complex business. We have to leave that to the pros. Like Hillary. She’s a veteran politician. She knows the score.

She knows where the bodies are buried. Because she’s buried them.

In many ways, Trump will upset the delicate balance. Hillary won’t. She’ll keep on killing, which is what we expect. Anything we already expect is good.

Trump is a vicious predator.

Hillary is standard.

The logic is impeccable.

She protects us, as any standard President does. If we can’t see the blood of others on her lips, on her face, dripping down into her cocktail in the War Room, if we can’t see her rictus grin, that’s good, too. We don’t need to see that.

Trump is Hitler, and Hillary is a national-security version of Mother Theresa.

Hillary helps spread terror over a considerable area of the world, and encourages the birth of new terrorists; Trump says he wants to spread a wide net and stop terrorists from entering the US. He’s completely insane and vicious. She’s an absolute darling.

No, wait, that couldn’t be right. I’m voting for Hillary. I want her to be queen of the world. She means well. She has to mean well. I want to unleash her humanity, all of it, from her deepest core. It’ll be fine.

Promise.

It’s all about the children. And the village. Something like that.

It’s not the smell of bullshit and charred bodies. It’s the perfume of a golden dawn.

It has to be.

This an excerpt of an introduction I wrote to my second collection, Exit From the Matrix:

…Make the only solution a global solution.

Of course, “global solution” means the individual is cut out of the equation, he doesn’t count, he doesn’t mean anything in the larger scheme of things, he’s just another pawn and cipher to move around on the board.

And as more duped and deluded people sign on to this agenda, the whole concept of the individual shrinks and becomes irrelevant.

This is purposeful.

This is the script for the future: in many ways create problems whose only solution appears to be collective.

Psychologically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually divert the individual’s attention from his own vision, his own profound desires, his own consciousness, his own imagination—and place it within The Group (“all of humanity”).

Propagandize the idea that, if the individual concerns himself with anything other than The Group, he is selfish, greedy, inhumane. He is a criminal.

More and more, this is how the young are being trained these days.

The grand “we” is being sold to them like a cheap street drug. They buy in. They believe this “we” is real, instead of a hollow con designed to drag them into a Globalist framework owned and operated by mega-corporations, banks, foundations, governments, and ubiquitous Rockefeller interests.

And what of the individual, his mind, his unique perception, his independent ideas, his originality, his life-force?

Swept away in the rush toward “a better world.”

I have breaking news. Earth is not a spaceship and we are not crew members. If Earth is a spaceship, it has serious design flaws, because it keeps making the same trip around the same sun every year.

Each one of us does not have a specified function, as a crew member would.

Going back as far as you want to in history, every shortage and scarcity in the world that engendered a crisis was either created by some elite or maintained by them, for the purpose of eradicating dissent and fomenting a collectivist solution. Meaning a solution that came from the top. Meaning a solution that reduced individual freedom.

In recent human history, a different idea emerged: establish severely hamstrung government, in order to protect the individual against it.

This idea existed in its pristine form for about an hour after the ink dried on the founding documents.

But regardless of circumstances, the individual can author his own freedom and what it implies. He can discover, within himself, extraordinary possibilities and extraordinary consciousness. He can contemplate what it means to create reality that expresses his most profound desires.

And then he can begin a voyage that no one and no group can stop.

Civilizations come and go, rise and fall, but the individual remains.

The word “imagination,” when properly understood, indicates that the individual can envision and then create futures that never were, and never would be, unless he invented them.

Imagination is the opposite of “provincial,” “restricted,” “well-known,” “familiar,” “accepted.”

That is its danger to the status quo.

That is the true threat the individual poses to all predictive systems.

Therefore, “it’s all just information” is the psyop code phrase. Ideas, thoughts—nothing is original, nothing is new; we all “share” information floating in the collective consciousness; the individual invents nothing.

Which is the opposite of the truth. The individual invents everything.

He can’t be predicted when he is himself. He is not a pattern. He is not a system.

He is not anyone else.

He thrives on his own inspiration.

He is the ultimate riverboat gambler. He bets the house on his own as-yet uncreated future.

He is not a piece of universe.

He is not a humble servant of Order.

He invents the space and time of his own time to come.

Everything about him is magic, if he would see it.

As early as 1961, a brilliant healer, Richard Jenkins, whom I write about in my book, The Secret Behind Secret Societies, explained what was to come. He wrote me a note, which I’m paraphrasing from memory: “People are confusing their own empathic response with some overblown idea about group identity. They aren’t the same. You can jump into the ocean and swim in it, but that doesn’t mean you are the ocean. You can climb out of the water and dry off. Your power isn’t the ocean. Your power is you. People are becoming afraid of their own unique and distinct existence. This is a social fear. A new social contract is being foisted on the population. Either you belong, or you have no rights. This is a totalitarian concept. It’s coming in through the back door.”

Well, now, it’s right there at the front door.

The individual still has a choice. But he has to make it.

Explore and use his own power, or give it away for nothing more than an illusion of belonging.

There was a man.
The world was crowding in on him
It was taking some part of his breath
This is the way it seemed
So clearly
This was his calculation
This was the dream in which he walked more slowly
Adding up the facts
And then

There was a bright machine
It was also walking
But briskly with a sense of purpose
It solved problems but it had no problems
It was true
He wanted to function as the machine
He wanted to take all his problems
And feed them to the machine
He wanted that confident brightness
He believed he could have it
He believed there could be a god machine
And a god solver
And a god witness
And a god caretaker
Who would come to the cemetery of his death
And take him out of the memories collecting in his headstone
And bring him back
And execute a mystic transference
And then he would know what could be known
And the rest would be offloaded
If a machine could do it
So could he
Because machines were born out of desire
Out of chaos
Wasn’t he entitled
To the same emerging precision?
Wasn’t this the goal of evolution?
Might he assist the human race
In its ascension?
Might he become known as one of the first?
Could he be a pioneer?
People would see him as a building or a rocket
Or a system overseeing many functions at once
Who had the right to deny him that wish?
It was an issue of dissolving
He would dissolve
Self would no longer exist
And then problems would have no surface to adhere to
He would be a Buddha machine
He would be the lost prophet coming back out of the desert
He would have spoken with the unending flow of computation
Hovering in the dusk and dawn
Working out humanity’s problems
He could be that phantom bridge
Between lost souls and the new magic
Negotiating surgery on emotions
Taking away the old plague
Erasing the histories
Shepherding the passage
Across the split between past and future

There was a man.
And then there wasn’t.

He was now even beyond shape
He was an aurora
Infiltrating the collective dust of thoughts in space
Vaccinating against mystery with purified waves of pleasure
Staining great walls
In the dark

His appraisal of state of mind:
Something is pouring into nothing
I am that nothing

Ladders of interpretation have carried me away
I am lost to what I was

He stopped
He was part of something that moved on

He was in a great funnel that deposited him in a desert on the fringe of a city
And there he stayed

Until he thought

I am an atom in a system

Breakthrough: true populism in the age of instant time

What a populist would do in 2016 and beyond

What the “real Bernie and Trump” show could be

“In this age, populism, if it existed, could connect with the population every day. The wildly popular populist leader would crack the egg of propriety and give blow-by-blow Web accounts of his struggles with the oligarchy, in detail, in his car, outside meeting rooms, on staircases, at home, in his office, on the street, in restaurants; everywhere, speaking to millions of people each time…” (The Magician Awakes, Jon Rappoport)

This is about what a true populist could be in this era of instant unstoppable media and, therefore, instant time.

I’m talking about an understanding of moment-by-moment connection with the population, which is now possible on a grand scale, owing to the internet and the devices which connect to it.

To grasp the implications, you must conceive of one wildly popular person up against forces which absolutely deny the interests and desires of millions of people.

And the leading question is: what should he do, when suddenly thrust into the spotlight, having gained considerable influence—knowing that enormous forces are arrayed to stop him?

A true populist says, for example: no bad trade deals. Translation: stop Globalism in its tracks. Nullify its trade treaties, the cornerstones of its cathedral. Negate them. Destroy them.

If he really meant it, if he was intent on achieving the goal, by whatever means, against some of the most powerful men on the planet, and if he began that journey, in talks, in meetings, in conferences with members of Congress, with US trade representatives, with Washington insiders—

When should he go back to the people, his people, his supporters, and let them know what is happening? When?

The usual pattern is: behind the scenes, for a few months, he tries to turn the oil tanker of State around, he fails, he reports the failure in mildly irritated language during one or two press conferences, and he moves on to other issues. But a real populist now…

Would be going on webcasts to millions of people, his people, giving them updates, explaining his struggle, listing the barriers, pointing out who is building those barriers, how they are obstructing the will of the people…in vivid detail…creating a massive uproar.

This is populism on a scale never envisioned before. It would constitute a staggering breakthrough.

It would shred business as usual in Washington.

A true populist leader would accept the fact that working through usual channels, to bring about stunning changes, is a loser. The enemy is entrenched. The enemy controls the landscape. The enemy controls the machinery.

Where is the populist’s strength coming from? Only one place: the people who are supporting him. So he has to go back to that well, over and over again. And now he can. Live.

“You wanted me to get your jobs back. That’s why you rallied behind me. I want to get your jobs back. I’ve explained why these trade treaties are destroying jobs at home. Now I’m trying to move the rock up the mountain. A few hours ago, I had a meeting with Senator Smith, a staunch defender of the treaties. It went nowhere. I want to tell you what he said, because, in his eyes, you don’t count. Only big corporations count. This is what happened…”

And three, five, ten million people are watching and listening.

And that’s just today’s report.

Tomorrow, or three days from now, there’ll be another blow-by-blow talk about who is blocking people from getting their jobs back.

Imagine it. Think about it. This is the hero’s journey, in real time, detouring around the controlled media. And yet…

The media would respond:

“Hey, Mr. Populist, we just watched your latest webcast. Hell of a show. Maybe you’d like to do your next Report to the People on our network. I mean, you had six million viewers at midnight. Unbelievable. You were sitting in your car, right after your meeting with the Secretary of Commerce. We could do that. Sit in your car, and we’ll beam you to our audience…”

No, I’m not necessarily talking about Donald Trump. Whether you like him or hate him—not the issue here. I’m talking about any person who, for whatever reason, gains the support of millions of people, because he wants to restore something to them, something they once had, something that was taken away from them by the wolves, something they had earned—and now it’s gone. Like jobs. Something basic that no one can argue about.

A real and true populist, in this age, would keep going back to his people—and he could. Live, at any moment, day or night. He would have to.

He would put a level of pressure on his enemies that has never existed before.

“Well, people, as you know, Congressman Jones introduced a bill today that would cancel four giant trade treaties and take the US out of the trap it’s been in for the last 25 years. It would bring giant corporations home from foreign lands. They would re-open their factories here. Your jobs would come back. Under ordinary circumstances, this bill wouldn’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell of passing. But we aren’t in ordinary circumstances anymore, because I have you and you have me. So let me tell you about the committee where this bill is going to meet its first big roadblock. I just got out of meeting with the head of the committee. This is exactly what happened…It’s a tragedy and travesty…”

“I want to ask you people a question tonight. What would happen if I, as President, decided to cancel all those trade treaties? Myself. With one stroke of the pen. By executive order. What would happen to me and to you and what would the Congress and the press do? I’m asking you. Is it a crime to give you your jobs back? Would somebody try to put me in jail or impeach me? Would they dare, with all of you behind me? Would they?”

“Some of you are telling me they’re going to shoot me. You’re warning me. I have to ask you this. With all of you behind me, do you really think they’d try? They may be crazy, but they aren’t stupid. Don’t you think they know what would happen?”

What I’m painting here isn’t only a different concept of media. It’s a different concept of political time. Time intervals.

Instead of six weeks or three months between general and vague reports and updates, the populist telescopes time. He shrinks the intervals. He makes his reports to the people every week, every few days. If he’s compelling, if he presents vivid details and names and events—instead of the usual hash of high-flying nonsense—he invents a new medium. A new way of connecting.

All right, take the two candidates in this year’s Presidential race who seem to be populists—Bernie and Trump—and forget for a moment whether they’re real or fake, sincere or con artists, ordinary politicians or a different breed. Forget that for the moment. Imagine what could happen if, between their usual speeches and interviews and debates, they went to the Web for live streaming every few days, building and building their audiences, and not just in the US, but globally.

Suppose, for example, they both had good research teams who assembled extensive dossiers, chapter and verse, on the misdeeds and crimes of Hillary Clinton…and suppose they hammered on that dossier mercilessly in Web broadcasts. Chapter and verse. “This is specifically what you’d be getting if you elected Hillary. This is who she is. This is exactly what she’s done.”

Or: “Let me tell you about American jobs. This is exactly what happened to them. This is who did it.” Night after night. Chapter and verse.

Or: “Let me tell you something about one of those giant trade treaties. NAFTA. Listen up. Once it was passed, US companies could flood Mexico with cheap corn. And they did. Mexico had a lot of corn farmers. Guess what? All that NAFTA cheap corn put 1.5 million Mexican corn farmers out of business. Guess what they did and where they went, all those farmers. A lot of them came up across the border into the US. That’s something you won’t hear about the immigration problem. Come on. Wake up. These Globalist trade treaties are destructive in a lot of ways…”

Fireside chats via the Web. “Hi, everybody. Last night we had nine million people watching, as I sat here by my fireplace and talked about medical care in this country. Tonight, we predict it’s going to be 20 million on the Web, all over the world. So I want to explain how the US medical system kills 225,000 Americans a year. That’s right. You should know about this. Everybody should know about this. I have the reports in front of me. I’m not making this up. Chances are you know someone who has been affected, who has died, or one of their family has died. This affects everybody. The US medical system kills 2.25 million Americans per decade. Can you believe it? Where are the media in all this…”

On and on. The Trump Web blasts. The Sanders Web blasts. Night and day.

Obama could be doing this. Hillary could, too. But do they really have what it takes to keep going back to the well, to their people, and making a visceral impact? Or are they just too mired in lies and tired worn-out generalities—in which case, the rebound effect would be increasingly negative, as they bore their audiences to death.

Some of you are thinking about what might happen if a crazy and vicious populist made use of this approach. Of course. No one claims the world is without risks. There are always risks. This isn’t Rainbow Village with marshmallows and ice cream. Some of you are convinced that all politicians, no matter what they say, are already bought off and are merely props in the grand show. So? That doesn’t preclude the possibility of a new person suddenly coming on the scene who hasn’t sold his soul. The future isn’t already written. Claiming it’s a closed book is an attitude that works for the cemetery and the grave and little else.

Imagination, courage, and intelligence never go out of style. No matter what anyone says.

Taking the internet to a new level is THERE. Waiting.

Here’s a variation on a tune that’s been tried before—but with a new sense of spontaneity and urgency:

“Hi, folks, it’s me again. In case you’ve been living under a rock, and some people are, because the economy has gone down the toilet, I’m a candidate for the Presidency of the United States. I understand we have about 25 million people watching tonight. I just got off the 15 Freeway in Southern California, outside Rancho Bernardo, and as you can see, I’m standing in a 7-Eleven. I was just chatting with a guy named Frank, who works behind the counter here. Frank, what did you do before this job?”

“Well, I had quite a few jobs. But at one time, I was a line supervisor in a factory that made shoes. A lot of us were fired.”

“Why? Why were you fired?”

“Because the company went belly up. They couldn’t handle the competition. Companies in the US were going overseas to make shoes and bring them back here. Real cheap.”

“Do you know how they were able to pull off that scam?”

“Sure. They don’t have to pay a tax, when they bring the shoes back in. That’s called free trade, right? Well, it put me down. It put my family and me down on our backs. So we had to pull up stakes and move from state to state looking for work…”

“Is this a set up? Did my people search you out here at the store?”

“Hell, no. You just came in to buy a beer. We started talking.”

“Well, this is why I’m going to trample all over the treaties that made you lose your job. I didn’t need to search you out. I meet people like you all the time. So let me run down how this free trade thing works, and who the Globalists are. You’re sure you’re not an actor, Frank?”

“I’ll call my wife and kids and they’ll come over here and tell you what I’m telling you. Here’s my driver’s license. I’ll give you the name of the man who owned the shoe company. You can call him up. He’ll tell you the same thing. You can check him out. He went bust. He’s in Florida now, trying to sell real estate.”

“A whole lot of people will be checking you out tomorrow, Frank. They’ll want to say we’re making all this up.”

“Let them. If they want to, I’ll show them my bills. They can pay them and see if they’re real…”

“Okay, Frank, get your family over here. Why not? I do want to talk to them. And call your old boss at the factory. We’ll put him on the line, too. Meanwhile, I’ll talk about David Rockefeller and the Globalists, and his intellectual sidekick, Brzezinski. It’s quite an interesting story. Brzezinski once said independent nations are finished. He said banks and corporations are running things now. I don’t think so. I don’t think that’s what the American people want. Let’s expose this whole operation down to its shoes…”

That’s just one night of populism in America. For 20 million people.
