The Surveillance State is creating new meta-crimes

The Surveillance State is creating new meta-crimes

The Surveillance State has created an apparatus whose implications are staggering. It’s a different world now. And sometimes it takes a writer of fiction to flesh out the larger landscape.

Brad Thor’s novel, Black List, posits the existence of a monster corporation, ATS, which stands alongside the NSA in collecting information on every move we make. ATS’ intelligence-gathering capability is unmatched anywhere in the world.

On pages 117-118 of Black List, Thor makes a stunning inference that, on reflection, is as obvious as the fingers on your hand:

“For years ATS had been using its technological superiority to conduct massive insider trading. Since the early 1980s, the company had spied on anyone and everyone in the financial world. They listened in on phone calls, intercepted faxes, and evolved right along with the technology, hacking internal computer networks and e-mail accounts. They created mountains of ‘black dollars’ for themselves, which they washed through various programs they were running under secret contract, far from the prying eyes of financial regulators.

“Those black dollars were invested into hard assets around the world, as well as in the stock market, through sham, offshore corporations. They also funneled the money into reams of promising R&D projects, which eventually would be turned around and sold to the Pentagon or the CIA.

“In short, ATS had created its own license to print money and had assured itself a place beyond examination or reproach.”

In real life, whether the prime criminal source is one monster corporation or a consortium of companies, or elite banks, or the NSA itself, the outcome would be the same.

It would be as Thor describes it.

We think about total surveillance as being directed at private citizens, but the capability has unlimited payoffs when it targets financial markets and the people who have intimate knowledge of them.

“Total security awareness” programs of surveillance are ideal spying ops in the financial arena, designed to suck up millions of bits of inside information, then utilizing them to make investments and rack up billions (trillions?) of dollars.

It gives new meaning to “the rich get richer.”

Taking the overall scheme to another level, consider this: those same heavy hitters who have unfettered access to financial information can also choose, at opportune moments, to expose certain scandals and crimes (not their own, of course).

In this way, they can, at their whim, cripple governments, banks, and corporations. They can cripple investment houses, insurance companies, and hedge funds. Or, alternatively, they can merely blackmail these organizations.

We think we know how scandals are exposed by the press, but actually we don’t. Tips are given to people who give them to other people. Usually, the first clue that starts the ball rolling comes from a source who remains in the shadows.

What we are talking about here is the creation and managing of realities on all sides, including the choice of when and where and how to provide a glimpse of a crime or scandal.

It’s likely that the probe Ron Paul has been pushing—audit the Federal Reserve—has already been done by those who control unlimited global surveillance. They already know far more than any Congressional investigation will uncover. If they know the deepest truths, they can use them to blackmail, manipulate, and control the Fed itself.

The information matrix can be tapped into and plumbed, and it can also be used to dispense choice clusters of data that end up constituting the media reality of painted pictures which, every day, tell billions of people “what’s news.”

In this global-surveillance world, we need to ask new questions and think along different lines now.

For example, how long before the mortgage-derivative crisis hit did the Masters of Surveillance know, from spying on bank records, that insupportable debt was accumulating at a lethal pace? What did they do with that information?

When did they know that at least a trillion dollars was missing from Pentagon accounting books (as Donald Rumsfeld eventually admitted), and what did they do with that information? (Actually, it’s much more than a trillion.)

Did they discover precisely where the trillion dollars went? Did they discover where billions of dollars, in cash, shipped to post-war Iraq, disappeared to?

When did they know the details of the Libor rate-fixing scandal? Press reports indicate that Barclays was trying to rig interest rates as early as January 2005.

Have they tracked, in detail, the men responsible for recruiting hired mercenaries and terrorists, who eventually wound up in Syria pretending to be an authentic rebel force?

Have they discovered the truth about how close or how far away Iran is from producing a nuclear weapon?

Have they collected detailed accounts of the most private plans of Bilderberg, CFR, and Trilateral Commission leaders?

For global surveillance kings, what we think of as the future is, in many respects the present and the past.

It’s a new world. These overseers of universal information-detection can enter and probe the most secret caches of data, collect, collate, cross reference, and assemble them into vital bottom-lines. By comparison, an operation like Wikileaks is an old Model-T Ford puttering down a country road, and Julian Assange is a mere piker.

Previously, we thought we needed to look over the shoulders of the men who were committing major crimes out of public view. But now, if we want to be up to date, we also have to factor in the men who are spying on those criminals, who are gathering up those secrets and using them to commit their own brand of meta-crime.

And in the financial arena, that means we think of Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan as perpetrators, yes, but we also think about the men who already know everything about GS and Morgan, and are using this knowledge to steal sums that might make GS and Morgan blush with envy…

Robert Leroy Mercer who owns Cambridge Analytica and Renaissance Technologies LLC. Now Renaissance’s flagship is Medallion fund, run by employees for employees only. This company is a monster…I guess Robert, Bob to his friends just retired this month. made way too much money… The funder of Brexit and probably slanted the field that got Trump elected. Wants to team up with Wikileaks and Assange in outing Killary emails. Yes they still exist Hillary. No such thing as the memory hole really. If it’s on the Internet, it’s out there somewhere, back in the deep dark wood of the Internet, near a little fishin hole, in a little tin box in an Internet cabin. So Hillary, 2018 is going to be your year. They can never be deleted.

“Since its inception in March 1988, Simons’ flagship $3.3 billion Medallion fund, has amassed annual returns of 35.6 percent, compared with 17.9 percent for the Standard & Poor’s 500 index. For the 11 full years ended December 1999, Medallion’s cumulative returns are an eye-popping 2,478.6 percent. Among all offshore funds over that same period, according to the database run by veteran hedge fund observer Antoine Bernheim, the next-best performer was Soros’ Quantum Fund, with a 1,710.1 percent return (see table, page 44). “Simons is No. 1,” says Bernheim. “Ahead of George Soros. Ahead of Mark Kingdon. Ahead of Bruce Kovner. Ahead of Monroe Trout.”

Now worth something like $65 Billion ($65,000,000,000)…Jesus H Christ, that’s a big number. Now, I wonder who the employees are, where they were educated (cause that’s a good school) where they were trained?
Got to be a few spooks in there, some from the CIA, a couple from Israel. A couple from Europe…

“From 2001 through 2013, the fund’s worst year was a 21 percent gain, after subtracting fees. Medallion reaped a 98.2 percent gain in 2008, the year the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index lost 38.5 percent.”

    Wowser…

It’s reality alright..so all you cowboys playing the stock market, why don’t ya just put the hook in your own mouth. These boys play with Cambridge Analytica, Data mining par excellance.

It’s called corruption. In the West it’s made into Matrix idea that “corruption does not exist” (meanwhile in Jamaica or Mexico).

  3. It is far, far worse than even you suggest, Jon, in my opinion.

For instance, Wikileaks and other supposed instruments of illumination are actually alternative propaganda sources. How would have the enclaves of “conspiracy theorists” that now pollute the internet over debating half truths have existed without information feeders like George Orwell, Gary Allen etc.?

Gary Allen produces his book a year before the “Globalist” (another Zionism euphemism) Trilateral Commission is set up. A brave New World is published the year before Hitler “deals” with Zionists. “1984” is published on the first year’s anniversary of the reformation of Israel.

The books were critical as tools to “ram it up” those that dare consider taking on the establishment. How many times has the establishment “lost” any ground since 1932, 1949, 1972? They merely outline the “terms of engagement” for relative morons.

I really liked this article, Jon. I have long thought the worst in regards to privacy. Back doors built into everything. They know what I am going to do, before I do. How do they do that? Wikileaks? Snowden, that you did a good article on a year or so ago? There are no secrets. There is no safe place or sanctuary. Whatever gets released, was intended to be released. They can withhold as long as they want. There are no real leaks. opposed or warring factions? Not really. that ‘s just for show so that we do not come to realize that we are controlled totally and completely and our decisions are already made for us. Phony wars provide for the sadistic pleasure of those in power who love killing, purely for its own sake. We are at the mercy of the ultimate psychopaths who truly hate life.

I am going to make this one crazy assertion that I do truly believe (yes, I am crazy and I have never denied it). All these earthly powers are fully kept in absolute obedience to evil powerful psychopaths in another realm, call it the supernatural or paranormal if you like. Our minds are transparent to them ad as such, there are no secrets kept from them so that if some smart @$$ thinks he can act on his own power and will, he will soon find out otherwise. Anyone in power today knows all about those supernatural beings. Not one of them doubts it. Only the little people do not believe. Me? I fell thru the cracks. Just an accident. A lucky one, for sure.

If, as whistleblowers have alleged, every digital communication is being monitored, wouldn’t you think that thwarting crime would have become a piece of cake? Yet the statistics vary only slightly from one time period to the next. Should we conclude that intentionally maintaining criminal activity in society is but another aspect of the Matrix?

    • truth1 says:

“Should we conclude that intentionally maintaining criminal activity in society is but another aspect of the Matrix?”

Yes, we should. No one profits more from crime than government. Many criminals are an extension of the government, like the Mafia and the CIA. Stanley Kubrick’s “Clockwork Orange” was all about that crime/government connection.

Well Said! And if they have “discovered” these things, then they could “commandeer” them, yes. But I would say, are they not in bed with, and managed by, at least in the first instance, the old power elite? Even if the mad scientists took over from the old corrupt oligarchs, they would have their own hierarchy, and it might be even more ruthless and efficient due to powers of technology and science at their disposal, and a giant herd of truncated cattle. Either way, they are not simply discovering and commandeering events, but the possibility for events, of the necessity of events, and of fate itself. Truly a “meta” crime.

On my blog I discuss the primary meta-crime, a meta-racket which I call “fifthery”, or a systematic covert dictatorship by a metaphysically evil fifth column of a horribly debased and corrupted public, meretricious in its existence just as it is truncated in its capacities and dignity, but all this with a degree of manufactured, yet given, consent that it also spells out a distinction between not only the injured inhealthy, or even just the guillable and perspicuous, but especially the Good and the evil.

And it does so over the scope of an entire domain that must be called a “world”, and so this constitutes a specific form of fraud which is the purest and most complete form (Plato’s “perfect injustice”) and therefore is a “metacrime” which is the ultimate form of criminal evil, and is both crime and evil par excellence, in the form of perfect injustice. I’ve found that there is no distinction between these facts and the understanding that this world is fundamentally doomed.

Still, may everyone’s Christmas season on the Planet of the Dupes be bright! Or would with that tone Dr. Breggin say I am “not facing life”?

  9. afshint says:

    […]

Great references, by the way, to the “dark economy” which is a minimum in the most rational discussion of the real world of weaponized mass fakery, what I’ve called “Metafraud”. It is actually the essence of what should be religiously hated, or at least feared. People would rather, it seems, play blind, deaf, and mute (and dumb) and just roll over until they’re some nub of themselves. That’s “metadupery”.

But I would say this, there is another layer of all this treachery, which may even prevent you from reading my words. Covert internet topologies, which arrange for methods of altering the propaganda and surveillance throughout the totally monitored and manipulated networks. But moreover, they play “covert” facebook games with the entire net, FaceBook was just a public front to create a public action distraction/manipulation valve to affect feedback to what is actually going on, covertly, THROUGHOUT the internet on all topologies, in a way compartmentally stacked under increasingly fewer, increasingly corrupt, and increasingly coercive and tyrannical agents (agencies). And so who knows who is reading what version of this. They have quantum computing mainframe arrays to model and “Mandela Effect” into and out of etheric existence whatever they want in a now “simulated” public mind which adjoins the metarackets in a sort of “double bind” of a falsified status quo under the false and exagerrated glamors of which the “metaracketeers” orbit, like some parasitic dwarf star coming by to suck loosh every 3600 years out of Sol and Earth like reaching into a fridge for a cold beer. Or sending the dog to do it. They get to wear halos, also, due to the psychological halo effect. But wait, there’s more, because there is the Meta Halo Effect as a bonus because with Projekt Bluebeam Ultra, anything is now possible!
