Elite TV news anchors are gone: hypnotic effect crumbling

Elite TV news anchors are gone: hypnotic effect crumbling

The ship is going down

by Jon Rappoport

June 27, 2017

There are many reasons why viewers are deserting mainstream news. This article is about one reason that has been overlooked. One vital reason…

Elite television news anchors are absolutely essential to the hypnotic delivery of fake news. They have always been a mainstay of the mind control operation.

From the early days of television, there has been a parade of anchors/actors with know-how—the right intonation, the right edge of authority, the parental feel, the ability to execute seamless blends from one piece of deception to the next:

John Daly, Douglas Edwards, Ed Murrow, Chet Huntley, David Brinkley, Harry Reasoner, Water Cronkite, Dan Rather, and more recently, second-stringers—Brian Williams, Diane Sawyer, Scott Pelley.

They’re all gone.

Now we have Lester Holt, David Muir, and an as-yet unannounced permanent replacement for Scott Pelley. Muir and Holt are decidedly junior varsity; they couldn’t sell water in the desert.

Lester Holt is a cadaverous timid presence on-air, whose major journalistic achievement thus far is interrupting Donald Trump 41 times during a presidential debate; and David Muir has the gravitas of a Sears underwear model.

The network news trance is falling apart.

The networks have no authoritative anchor-fathers waiting in the wings. They don’t breed them and bring them up in the minor leagues anymore.

Instead, armies of little Globalists and ideologues who don’t realize they’re working for the Globalists have been infiltrating the news business. At best, they’re incompetent.

This is one reason why mainstream news has been imploding.

When gross liars don’t have hypnotism, they don’t have anything.

And lately, things have gotten even worse for the mainstream. Their ceaseless attacks on Trump are backfiring. More members of the public are seeing through the puerile throw-ANYTHING-at-the-wall-and-see-what-sticks approach; and more important, the style of these attacks is breaking the time-honored rhythms and pace of traditional news presentation, and thus are failing to put the viewing audience into passive brain-states.

Fundamental and tested means for trance-induction are going out the window. When you add in rude and contentious interviews and thinly disguised editorializing by “news reporters” who have no business being within a mile of a broadcast studio, who spout random shots of venom, the news-production techniques that enable an ongoing illusion of oceanic authority collapse like magnetic fields that have been suddenly switched off.

The selective mood lighting, the restful blue colors on the set, the inter-cutting of graphics and B-roll footage, the flawless shifts to reporters in far-flung places…it’s as if all these supporting features have suddenly been overcome by actors in a stage play who are abruptly stepping out of character. The spell is broken.

Humpty-Dumpty is off the wall and lying in pieces on the floor.

Elite mainstream news is committing suicide. And in a fatuous attempt to save themselves, they are trying a democratic approach. Anchors are sharing more on-air minutes with other reporters. But this is counter-productive in the extreme. The News has always meant one face and one authority and one voice and one tying-together of all broadcast elements. It’s as if, in a hypnotherapist’s office, the therapist decides to bring in colleagues to help render the patient into an alpha-state.

Network news executives are clueless. News directors are clueless. The whole lot of them are too young and too foolish to remember what once made news dominate the public mind.

Plus they are swimming in shark-infested waters. The sharks are independent media.

Bottom-line?

This is a cause for celebration.

The movie called fake reality is packaged rolls of footage in the back of a very large truck moving slowly toward a graveyard.

The elite standard has always been: can we hypnotize the viewing audience and keep them hypnotized? And now the answer is leaning further toward NO on both counts.

Information mind control, as delivered by elite television news, depends entirely on the elite anchor. His modulated voice and presence and delivery are the glue that holds the illusion together. If by some miracle, the news bosses could raise Walter Cronkite, “the father of our country,” from the dead and put him back in the chair, they might have an outside chance of re-establishing their dominance. But too many years have gone by; years of unaccomplished anchors. Humpty-Dumpty is in pieces on the floor, the horse is out of the barn, the cat is out of the bag.

This is why major news outlets have been appealing to the new king: social media. Facebook, Google, Twitter, and You Tube are, in various ways, trying to shape the news the public receives and doesn’t receive. But their desperate attempt is failing, too.

It is crashing on the rocks of vast, uneven, open decentralization of information.

One veteran news director told me several years ago, “We’re losing the war. We don’t have the stars [elite anchors] anymore. The star system is dead. The same thing happened to Hollywood. Now it’s happening to us. You could comb all the local news outlets in America, and you wouldn’t find one face and voice who could really carry the freight. They’ve vanished. The up and coming people are lame and weak. We’ve made them that way. It’s some cockeyed standard of equality we’ve internalized. And now we’re paying the price.”

Yes, indeed.

They’ve punched holes in their own ship.

  1. This was really good. Insightful. Relevant.Having read your prior articles on the anchor as hypnotist, I really appreciate this latest diagnosis of the Medness. Having been “raised” on John Cameron Swayze, whose overnight editor at one time had been Walter Cronkite: I get it. Great work.

  2. rightwingconservativenewsblog says:

    PS: “Madness,” not “Medness”! 🙂

  3. Dana Doran says:

Jon, enjoyed your observation. Without observation (ref. Quantum Mechanics), reality doesn’t exist. I wish you would explore the possibility that the need to have “actors” (who become famous and then get political) and to pay them huge sums of money for entertainment will cease to exist in the near future (technology and artificial intelligence.)

    • jetsam2flotsam says:

      Oh Dana,
Hope does spring eternal. The whole system “as is” makes the whole thing work.
The “herd” structure is necessary for the predators to maintain position.
Nothing will change. It cannot. It is supported by the Gods, who do need to avoid ennui.

  4. Greg C. says:

Any belief system needs its priests. Those people who seem to be above it all, imbued with holiness, which in the news translates into integrity and truthfulness. The latest revelation from Project Veritas strips off the robes – “hey, it’s just a business – integrity, you’ve got to be joking!” Like overhearing a priest laughing about confession and communion. “That’s what sells our religion, but who really believes this stuff?”

  5. Robert Feigel says:

You certainly have a way with words, a very effective technique to get the word across. Mainstream media leaves the citizens in the dark about “world news”, all they know is to play and urinate in the sandboxyy.

  6. Eliza Ayres says:

Still looking at main stream news? Oye. Get a life and do your own research about current events!

  7. Noelle says:

Excellent article, Jon! I was at my nail salon yesterday where they have the tv on all the time. It’s the only place I get the chance to see “the news” because it’s if off in my home. I was stunned as I looked up and observed the fake smiles & perfect hair. The stories were 99% fear based and the pictures moved quickly across the screen from one event to another. And the blue backgrounds we now see? I attribute those to selling the chemtrails we see outside. I now see white lines on blue on EVERY set …even the sport shows. The gig is up.

    • bdoyen says:

Thanks for pointing this out, Noelle, very insightful. I hadn’t noticed because I quit watching the news over 15 years ago.

  8. IMNAHA says:

I rarely watch the “news” but once in a while when I see Lester Holt, I pause to study him. I’m uncertain whether he is an engineered hybrid, clone or AI robot BUT if you wanted to develop the “perfect” anchor Lester would be “it”. It’s hard to imagine Lester laughing or crying or aging…

Actually thats were they sat the implant was in the dimple. Right smack in the middle of it. Put a pointy hat on her, and she looks wicked and from the west somewhere.

Of course I heard that after a few guinness; might be true…ya never know. Could be… One man’s poison is another man’s truth.
And besides…have ya ever known me to pass on any blarney what-so-ever. Not a smatter has passed my lips… I was an altar boy, remember. Sworn to tell the truth on fear of pain and death….hellfire and the devil’s buggery.

This story continues to unfold. We’ll report back with more as it emerges – YEH!

  11. Thx1138 says:

    Walter Cronkite (1916-2009)
“For nearly five decades the World Federalists have worked to promote a strengthened UN and more effective institutions of global governance. I offer my personal endorsement. Now a great opportunity has opened for the realization of the dreams of the UN’s founders.” – Walter Cronkite, Broadcast journalist

Affectionately nicknamed “Old Iron Pants” for his unflappability under pressure, Walter Cronkite’s accomplishments – both on the air and off – have won him acclaim and trust from his colleagues and the American public alike. During his 60 years in journalism – 45 of them with CBS News – he covered virtually every major news event of his time. For 19 years he was the anchor and managing editor of the CBS Evening News, which in 1963 became network television’s first half-hour weeknight news broadcast, debuting with Cronkite’s headline-making interview with President John F. Kennedy. He was the only journalist to be voted among the top ten “most influential decision-makers in America” in the seventies and eighties. In 1985, Cronkite was inducted into the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame.

Since leaving CBS, Cronkite has continued to host public affairs and cultural programs, including John Glenn’s 1998 shuttle flight for CNN. In 1993 he joined Jonathan Ward to form a production company, Cronkite Ward & Co., which has produced more than 50 award-winning documentary hours for The Discovery Channel and others.

Cronkite was also a proponent of limited world government on the American federalist model. In accepting the 1999 Norman Cousins Global Governance Award at the ceremony at the United Nations, Cronkite said: “It seems to many of us that if we are to avoid the eventual catastrophic world conflict we must strengthen the United Nations as a first step toward a world government patterned after our own government with a legislature, executive and judiciary, and police to enforce its international laws and keep the peace. To do that, of course, we Americans will have to yield up some of our sovereignty. That would be a bitter pill. It would take a lot of courage, a lot of faith in the new order. But the American colonies did it once and brought forth one of the most nearly perfect unions the world has ever seen.” (The First Priority of Humankind…, Walter Cronkite Speech to the United Nations, October 1999)

  12. “There are many reasons why viewers are deserting mainstream news.”

I would say that, they have gone online for with their fake news. Like everybody else. And mainstream is online as well. Online is a huge pie shared amongst many, which is in the process of being whittled down, as the new means of expression changes yet again. Eventually all will arrive back at mainstream as it is renewed, reformatted, rebranded. Googlified.

“Elite television news anchors are absolutely essential to the hypnotic delivery of fake news. They have always been a mainstay of the mind control operation.”

Your premise is wrong; it’s false. A false premise. They are not ‘essential’, useful, but not essential. A ‘mainstay’, one of many mainstays in that old paradigm world.

It’s not the news, it is/was the whole television, everything that was watched, was the game plan.  Not just the news. The comedy shows and food shows and “I’m going to show you how to survive a ship-wreck with a toothpick shows.”

The whole thing (The Nightly News), became a reality show, a distraction for the soap-opera lovers. And those of that majority that are prone to knee-jerking. A story to tell them to keep them watching. Reinforcing their bigotry and prejudice, and keeping them separate and hating each other.

    “The ship is going down”

Nah the ship of fake news has been refitted. Everyone is tailored and being suited, securely in their little online bubble. Choosing to be feed the bullshit fakery from someone they feel closer too; it’s all about warm and fuzzy now. They have to have an affinity with the presenter… It multiplied, it’s exploded onto the Internet, into millions of little versions and pseudo-Cronkites, and god safe us; Megyn Kellys, each with the similar opinion of the big lie. Fake news gets pumped out at alarming rate now. It in the realm of PSI/pounds per square inch.

There are clowns telling the fake news, and post-human, trans-gender elves. And cute little scritchers, with holes in the right places of their little fuzzy animal suits telling the fake news.

The average human is being turned into a fucking gerbil. A manufactured human, incapable of telling the difference between fake news and real news (whatever that is). I am reminded at this point of what Seymour Hersch has stated so wisely. “There is what I know, and then there is what I don’t know.”

With the constant ‘what’s next’, ‘haveya heard’, ‘didya see this’, in hopes of getting beyond the other guy/girl/it/*apply your pronoun here*. The hypnotism is complete they will never get out of it. And maybe they shouldn’t. The level of control, hypnosis, fakery, can only become more complex and sophisticated. Eventually people complaining and reporting fake news in their virtual worlds.

The News anchor served it’s purpose, and went the way of the steam engine as it was supposed to, as they knew it would. And they knew it would. You think it was defeated. People haven’t been watching the news for years. They sucked the real mind out of the viewer and ever dime out of it, long time ago, and they are on to the next. Really the television news was about the pharmaceutical ads, and next big pill. Besides you missed the whole point. Do you think the audience was actually listening; paying attention, they are not that smart Jon. These are manufactured people. They are actually very stupid. They are looking for something to say when they go for coffee with their BFF’s this afternoon. But sustain a thought any longer than the next electromagnetic impulse to their brain.

The medium; the flicker rate the subliminals were the real message. As long as it was on, you sat in front of it, drooling, as the trance took hold, and the crap filled a hungry mind. On what you think, and what you’re gonna buy next, and “oh Christmas is coming”.

What was the talking head saying? Do you know how much cancer those old analog glass screened televisions caused. They were cathode ray tubes…ray tubes…as in ray gun. It wasn’t the fake news, it was the cancer. Those guys were telling you a story, so you paid attention and stayed on, the story had to get bigger and bigger, in order to keep the viewer watching the cathode ray tube and not falling asleep. No one was ever interested in you knowing the truth.

The big new machine, or BNM as it’s called, is capable of watching every single human online, now, and for always. Twenty-four hours a day. Hypnosis. You are being feed what you ask for, but, you get it their way. The illusion of freedom is complete.

People walk into their Internet prison and close the fucking door, and listen to ‘PewDiePie’, and ‘WatchMePeeNews”,and ‘AbsolutelyPositivelyNoMoreFakeNewsThisTimePromise.”

And they will never be released. Because now, an anxiety pervades if they stop, they get sick, and they are anxious and medicated, and what’s the next. They need a re-dose every few minutes, to reinforce the balkanizing of their putrid minds. Because they have a short attention span now. We living in a bi-polar world. A medicated mental ward. Fake news is the only news. no one cares about the truth anymore.

I see children, three years old holding cellphones or tablets. And that’s their life. They know no other, you think the ship’s going down. I think it’s a fleet now.

At least before, someone could walk into the room, and shut-off the television and say “Let’s go out for ice-cream, or a walk in the park.”

Now they take it with them, when they go for ice-cream, and the little fake news gadget heard their conversation, and was nice enough to suggest a new little ice-cream store, right around the corner from where they live and BTW, here’s google map directions to it….BTW again. your special and you’re welcome…kisses.

    “The ship is going down.”

No it isn’t, it unsinkable now. They take it to bed now, it’s beside their pillow, or on the nightstand beside the sleeping pills and the Xanax. It wakes them up, and whispers some more fake news into their ears.

The fight isn’t over, it has yet to begin Jon. If it ever does.

And Donald Trump, your hero; the first real Internet President is online, Twitting, and FaceBooking…and being a pain in the ass. The deep state is running the show, all day every day.

Whatya think the face of big brother was going to be… a guy with a moustache and a solemn look, right of the cover of 1984 the book, no, it’s a Donald Trump type, first he ask you what you think, and then the next one is elected and will tell you what he is thinking, and the elected final one he will tell you what to think.

You can cheer the end of the nightly news on television if you like, or the false end and remaking and rebranding of that message into another, better version. But that’s a hollow victory if you wish to call it that.

Fake news got bigger, a lot fucking bigger.

Michael Burns, you stole the words out of my mouth. You beat me to it. I should just walk away, but I can’t. I am a weak man. The Alt Media as Jon once dubbed it, carries on the MSM traditional without skipping a beat. The people in power are not that easily defeated. They just get more sophisticated. The Alt Media sort of sound good and say a few good things and throw a few rocks at the MSM and status quo system, but when push comes to shove, they will take the same stand as the MSM and Elites. They give ground on small matters and feign righteousness but on the really important issues, they will join the status quo.

Alex and JP Watson talk a big talk, but then say Hampstead is likely a hoax, even though admitting they have not heard the evidence yet. Well, its been 2 years. but I’ll bet they have not changed their minds. Alex eventually backed out of Pizza Gate. David Icke? He went from dishing Pedos to saying we have gone too far in picking on the poor pedos.

I get comments deleted just a much if not more, on supposed Alt Media youtube comment screens and facebook fights as anywhere else. And it not that, then trolls and shills show up. Of course, that’s just fun and games for me. I devour them alive. Yes, I am a cannibal when I want to be. The Alt Media are like a sub sitting beneath the water with just the periscope sticking out of the water just a little, waiting for a convoy to come along so they can launch some torpedoes.into the convoy.

When the Aliens of some sort finally arrive, you will see every one of those Alt Media embrace the Aliens and the antichrist (He’ll say he is Jesus, but then, a lot of people say that). And when it comes time to decide if you want to go the way Satanic cults or spend 3.5 years in a FEMA camp for daring to admit you favor God over Satan, all the shills and Alt Media will praise the Aliens, no doubt in my mind.

The Alt media has been groomed increasingly since 911 made youtube popular.to visit. Youtube was born in 2006 and really started to catch on big in 2009, says I for reasons I will not disclose at this time but do reveal on my site, I think. So fear not. The MSM is stronger than ever, but far more subtle now, having left the TV and papers in disgrace and defeat, only to start anew on youtube, blogs, Facebook and now of course, those are all censored, just like they were on TV and papers. How bout dat! The Elite are far too powerful to get their @$$es kicked that easy. They keep reinventing themselves like shills make new sock puppets.

In the end, every man shall have to stand on his own two feet and take his own stand against the odds.

      • Michael says:

Exactly, why would you put up newspaper stand on land when everybody is living under water; and you don’t make it out of newspaper anymore either… Sidenote: They even invented a paper for their propaganda, how that for efficiency. Now their new invention, the Internet. The true panopticon.

What’s-his-face over at the Washington Post, the new guy that bought it, Bezos; bought it at fire sale price. He will take it online, and individualized it for each and every subscriber. he has taken down the pay-wall at present, but it will go up again. People will live in bubbles insides of bubbles. He professes, “…and it will require experimentation…”.

Interesting point about Bezos, he was one of the first to invest in the Google start-up; his initial $250,000 investment has fruited a $3.1 Billion return. Not bad for a few short years. Of course it helps if you know the game plan.

My theory is, Internet registration is coming, very quickly; it’s the only way to fight terrorism don’t ya know. You will present your vitals; age, name, address, weight, eye color etc. And all this will be verified, vetted, and voluminous, to see if you’re lying. You will present a small stool sample, as a sign of your seriousness, and eventually your DNA. You will be given a small test, and might have to go to Internet school; quite like the driver’s education program to learn the rules of the road…and viola’ you will get your Internet registration. And then you can decide how that fee will be made annually. No room for mistakes here, the real information will be gathered constantly. You will be assigned a licensed IP address. And that won’t change ever.

You will walk into your Internet cell and the world will be presented to you, in that bubble. Everything will be seemless. I won’t be as painful as I profess, I’m just breaking it down to brass tacks; do they sell brass tacks anymore?

Eventually society’s real lives will be online, virtually.

In their eagerness they have let out technologies a little to soon. But they will make a complete comeback. Things like Google glass. and eventually an implant no bigger than a grain of rice in your temple. And with the nano technology, even that might be extreme.

The human mind is becoming a wasteland, it has been sliced and diced into what ever shapes they want…freedom from that is difficult. I would claim that most people do not have a proper definition of that word. It is meaningless to them.

I am about to dump the Internet, it is becoming far to complex to be of useful anymore, I can’t seem to hide like I use too…I have ditched my phone. I never really used it anyways. It was a requirement of a job I held. I keep asking my wife on regular basis can we get rid of the little black box. I have had no cable television for well on ten years now.

We have convinced ourselves that this is life; two hours alone just on social media for millennials. The average UK adult they say, spends  nearly nine hours of each day on media and communication.

Canadians are online more than other nations because they live in a winter climate.

One site said teenagers spend 27 hours a week online, that’s a part-time job. And if you work at Wal-Mart that’s three hours away from a full-time job.

I ask my wife what her biggest problem is with the employees under her, she tell me, “Their phones, always on their phones, they have bladders the size of hamsters with their trips to the washroom. I have tried to ban phone use on company time. It’s a constant war.”

The talking head is dead, why does that matter?

“When the Aliens of some sort finally arrive,…”

One last point; I think that will be my epitaph Truth1.

They are here already, been here for a long time. When you really start to look at the epistemology of world knowledge you see a pattern emerge. An alien pattern to make minds work in certain ways, to make the mind adhere to the environment that is presented.

More than likely this is some sort of prison for incorrigibles. you only get out of it when you adhere to the program; otherwise it is a state of constant re-incarnations, playing out you incorruptibility. The longest inmates have tended towards psychopathology.

        • Prescott says:

Very astute observations. College campuses are horrifying now; it’s a digital death. We are only tasting the tip of the iceberg when it comes to effects of internet and digital technology. Often, I wonder if it’s too late.

I was addicted to the internet as a child, and I’m still dealing with the neurosis and pathological tendencies that I developed. I’m struggling to sort myself out, barely maintaining my sanity at times, but when I look around, I’m 500 times better off than my peers -no iPhone, no social media, I read books, I can write coherently, I don’t drink, etc.- but I’m still a mess; It’s absolutely terrifying.

Even worse, there’s the Ipad infants. It’s beyond disconcerting to see children enmeshed in the digital prison at an even younger age than I was. We’re raising a generation who will spend the majority of their lives in an abstraction.

Technology is not inherently good or evil, but it’s certainly easy to use it for evil when maladjusted, propaganda-addled adolescent minds don’t even understand how the things they depend upon work. As human cognition declines and technology becomes increasingly complex, the masses will slowly sleepwalk into a deeper dark age.

Writing this makes me want to leave the computer behind for a good year, or maybe even a lifetime.

          • Michael says:

“As human cognition declines and technology becomes increasingly complex, the masses will slowly sleepwalk into a deeper dark age.”

What a revelation, sent me off in a thousand directions. You have me thinking now. How surreal when we see how history repeats itself so many times as each paradigm takes hold of us. We keep reliving the same nightmares.

A digital dark age…wow. So much computing power and such an unbearable desert of ignorance.

I have been around since the beginning also, and have watch the monster grow.

I was one of the first on Facebook. But abandoned it quite quickly as it devolved.

My initial page and all that information is still there forever, I tried once quite a few years ago, to delete it. You can’t, there is no memory hole for anything but the truth.

So when I wake up from this illusion and find myself strapped in the chair, toothless and aching, nauseous from the drugs and broken, I will look into the face of the one with the white coat…and the thought will emerge slowly.

“Forty years it had taken him to learn what kind of smile was hidden beneath the dark moustache. O cruel, needless misunderstanding! O stubborn, self-willed exile from the loving brest! Two gin-scented tears trickled down the sides of his nose. But it was alright, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Big Brother.”

And then I think, fuck no I’m Irish.

I was really digging your post. Ah, the fighting Irish. My family line on dad’s side was Scots who went to Belfast N. Ireland for a brief time and then to Nova Scotia. My Grandfather faked being Irish in his deed, as the Irish were known to be willing to fight if they did not get justice. But my Grandfather got screwed by the “network” of the area and the Railroad, eventually bought by Canadian Pacific in 1931.

But now in regards to stupidity in an age of technology, I believe it was said best, one ago in that you can lead a horse to water but you can not make him think! Wasn’t that it? But critical thinking does not rely on technology and instant access to knowledge, facts, or whatever. Nor do good social networks help, if you avoid them.

Ironic that it has always really depended upon parents to instill in children a love for truth and wisdom and justice. The one thing truly missing in the world is that Justice and free flow of honest info. Its lies everywhere and lies can be tricky. And our new found tech communications only spreads the lies more. Love for truth can only come from within. Hence, some not brought up to question, end up questioning, anyway. But most just want to fit in and belong so they don’t look the gift horse in the mouth and start to question things. They know better. I never learned that, though. I shot off my mouth all the time. In fact I shot off my foot in doing so.

But I am happy with my choices.

        • truth1 says:

Excellent post as always. Your ideas of what it to come, are sensible and yet I kind of think they know us all pretty well, anyway. they are tracking ever little thing we buy and that might be going on in our heads when we do it. They tracked us in school. Track us and our posts on the net. Our tastes, our everything. I think now, they are just seeking the last great false flag psyop, to herd and corral us into one of two sides/choices. And then begins the nasty kill-off, which has long been in the making and works. Such a nice bunch, no?

        • jetsam2flotsam says:

          Ahhhh, yes. I agree.
Being here is not really a good idea. Ruins sleep.

Ah, Mike, you make the place more fun. Glad you showed up.

  13. middleway says:

We do not require surrogate talking heads beholding to the slave holders telling us what to fear and who to hate. We are all participating slaves chained to a system that was not of our creation. By keeping us divided they hold the masses in check. Enslavement comes to an end when one stops believing in the cocoons spun by the propagandists that have served to imprison each and everyone of us for aeons. What can be done with these soulless manifestations whose primary sustenance is human suffering? Fully comprehend your individuality and reclaim your soul. Ones spiritual essence is our expression within the eternal, the physical comes and goes.

    • truth1 says:

Bloody well said Middleway! The illusion is what enslaves us and keeps us blind. Few, very few, seethe truly big picture, that all governments and leaders work together, there are no divisions among them. the apparent divisions are diversions and illusions to keep us from seeing the real problems. Cause everyone knows that only beer, sex, and TV matter!, right?

    • Noelle says:

Middleway: Perfectly said! Thank you for such clarity.

Years ago – before most of the cute m/f Newsreaders were born, there was a satirical TV show called “Not The News” which I thought extremely funny – until I realized it was true…..

  15. Larry says:

Look een to my eyes …You are getting Betty Zleepy …

    • Michael says:

Larry I knew a girl in high school, called Betty Zleepy; big Ukrainian girl, buxom, could drag a heavy plough all on her lonesome. She was on the school wrestling team. She put you in a full nelson, well…Bob’s your uncle.

I had a crush on her sister…Getten Zleepy. Betty and Getten, were two parts of a set of triplets. They had a brother. Relly Zleepy *pronounced Riley*
Ah well that a thousand years ago…didn’t want turn this into a snoozer.
Here a little picture show for ya, watch for the subliminals. There’ll be a pop quiz later.
      Tic-tock tic-tock, tic-tock…zleeeeeepy.

Very interesting video, Michael (all of a sudden I’m hungry for hot-buttered popcorn!).

By the way, Katie Couric is correct: words DO matter.

        FUCK YOU, KATIE!

Very good writing. It seems like the truth.

  17. MIKE S says:

you forgot abc’s Frank Reynolds, yes we like to beat his “Reagan Moment”

  18. Clive says:

    This is inaccurate.

Before main stream news had no competition, so it could say whatever it wanted with no competition, but now there is the internet.

Mainstream news started to fail when it no longer had a monopoly and people had a choice.

I do have to admit that having crap presenters will not help their situation.

  19. Kulak Acres Farms says:

Good. It couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of agenda pushing globalist scum.
The Wayne Gale character in Natural Born Killers is an over the top portrayal of a presstitute media maggot who thinks he is the center of the universe.
ME-Gyn Kelly stumbling over at the National Barack Channel is another indicator of the taxable unit unwashed rube masses getting sick of being lied to.

  20. betty says:

I think all of mainstream is crashing for a lot of people. I can’t stand watching regular tv, the shows are insulting, I totally see through all the commercials selling reverse mortgages, poison medicines, useless back and knee braces, endless lawsuits for poison medications, and procedures gone bad. I wish it would crash faster because I’m sick of watching people getting sick and weak from all of it. I spend my time building things, growing/preserving food, and researching how to do more.

  21. truth1 says:

I observe this! None of the tricks of the MSM or cloaked MSM as Alt Media would have any effect on intelligent people with a healthy skepticism. The veil works because of dull minds. Schools deprive and lie. Parents do nothing and let the kids remain dull and uninformed. Most parents were too caught up in their own struggles and unresolved neglect or mistreatment from their own parents and lack of guidance. Its is a repeating cycle that the schools and media enjoy since it make their job of misinforming, easier. Don’t cha luv it!

Knowledge and Skepticism are true paths to real enlightenment, where no lies are able to carry on and survive. Good motivation helps, too!

  22. Noelle says:

Where, oh ,where is Howard Beal?

  23. Ab Irato says:

Great article. The question is: what will replace network newz? Social media isn’t working.

  24. John Smeresky says:

Love IT. Hope THEY don’t read this and wake up. I never watch any of them myself and don’t plan to return. Thanks for the good news.

  25. Terry Adams says:

Honestly Jon, I think the powers-that-shouldn’t-be didn’t think they would need these last set of replacements.. They most likely thought it would all be over by now – that they would’ve been successful and America would’ve been in her final agonizing death throes…. This is why there were no heavy hitters on deck, no great talent warming up in the bull pen.
This last election changed everything – albeit maybe temporarily – but changed none the less. People are waking up (thanks to people like YOU!!- thank you)..
IT WASN’T SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THIS! Hill was going to be appointed, war with Russia was going to be initiated, and the purge of patriots in American was to be underway….
    “OOPS”
