Yes, many so-called “fake news” sites do all this and much more—but something else is also going on.
Many of these sites were launched and are spearheaded by ONE man or woman.
No person outside the mainstream is supposed to be so emboldened by his/her own point of view and passion.

We’re not supposed to believe these “fake news” INDIVIDUALS created their news operations on their own. We’re not supposed to believe each individual had a vision of what the news is supposed to be and followed that vision forward with great energy.
An individual works for what he believes is true? He keeps his own counsel? He forges ahead, despite all opposition? He may even, when all is said and done, make a profit from his own labors? We’re supposed to oppose these “evils,” and by the grace of governments and their shadow operators, we will emerge from the darkness and find our salvation in a New Order of things.
***And never—if you happen to disagree with what some independent news site is saying—NEVER entertain the idea of starting YOUR OWN news operation and building it from the ground up to reflect YOUR OWN vision. NEVER. That is individual power, which is the horrible fate that would await you.
DOING IT ON YOUR OWN?
Avoid it like the plague.
Haven’t you studied your history? This country was originally built on chipping away at people’s individual creations and tearing them down. Right? How else could America have succeeded? It is only by taking away independence in all its forms that we could have arrived at the cusp of this grand triumph now: One Collectivist World.

I tend to agree with this blog post of Jon’s. If we go ahead and label anything but MSM as false sources and say it enough times then people will believe like they always do. In actuality it’s the MSM that is false. This old trick of theirs is tiresome and boring. Let’s call out something and label it as that. Just like anyone who questioned going into Iraq after 9/11, calling them unpatriotic with the possibility you were also something even more terrifying Do your own homework. Don’t leave the responsibility of information that you are fed up to anyone else. Keep an open mind.

Never in the history of this country have I seen what one would consider an explosive news story never get covered or if it happens to get covered, it then almost seems to disappear instantaneously. It all boils down to coverage. The MSM gets its talking points from the NY Times and the rest of the “talking heads” all fall in line after that. You can switch channels but everybody is always basically covering the same thing. Important news cycles which happen to put a glaring spotlight on the corrupt system are treated like toxic fumes by the lame stream media.
How else can tyranny and treason survive but by having a puppet statist media spoon feeding their version of “news” to a thumbed down population who can no longer think for themselves. Only in the twisted world of today could fake news be regarded as real and real news be regarded as fake. Obama and the globalists have managed to invert reality. People who question them, they try to marginalize and or call them names. However it is a game that is no longer working well for these psychopaths. There is hope out there and people in large numbers are waking up to there BS. Their game of throwing enough crap against a wall and hoping it will stick is being pressure washed clean by people who are now demanding truth and logic over BS! The rats are running scared in fear of the “exterminators” who are “spraying” them with truth, the so called “fake” news media.

There was a time in my life when I justified everything:
Fresh out of the military, & damn lucky to find a good paying job working in a big factory where my very first job was dumping paint thinner, benzine, & other horrible chemicals in a swamp.
When justified my behavior, even when I was angry & hurtful to others.
When that same company sent me to school for training in the use of carcinogenic chemicals,
with no means to dispose of them, except to dump them down the sink.

Why, because of a paycheck & my greedy needy justifying my spending money?

Shamefully, I contributed to my own down fall & that of mankind too.

After watching old Little house on the prairie episodes recently, I have realized with much dismay our pinnacle of our republic was during these times and as a society; honesty, integrity, hard work, gratitude, a can do attitude. Terri, I think you would enjoy the Howard Roark/Gary Cooper speech that was made in the movie, The Fountainhead. You can find it on youtube. It was probably the greatest speech ever given in a film.
Thanks John, I watched the speech(powerful!) and will watch the whole thing later. Its amazing to me how the truth has been out there for everyone to see, such as in this movie the fountainhead. Yet, the masses refuse to see and continue to claim ignorance and victim hood. No one can truly claim ignorance, just apathy and weakness of character.
I didnt discover Ayn Rand until I was older, I wish Atlas Shrugged had been required reading in school. At this point, if the curriculum is not changed to works such as this, our republic is lost. I think this is so important. I get frustrated sometimes reading some of what I consider to be among the best “fake news sites” around because they aren’t necessarily reporting the entire truth of the matter based on my own research. And sometimes even more frustrating is reading the disinformation that can run rampant in the comment sections, for which debate tends to becomes an exhausting task.
While I have been very frustrated at times by what others are putting out there in terms of news or information, I think Jon you have touched on something important here. I don’t know if I will ever go so far as starting my own news site or blog (not ruling it out), but at the very least I’ve come to realize I have no other choice but to take full responsibility to engage in my own independent research and not rely so much on what others are telling me. This may be obvious to most people here, but hey, we are all on our own journey in life :-). Writing down the results of this research can provide a great opportunity to enhance learning and comprehension, and from there, who knows what may transpire.

So what is different now?… well other than that the MSM media is controlled by a very small cabal. Few thoughts. One theory is that as the truth and the lie grow farther and farther apart (ie. the lie is so large, so bold, so… ridiculous) more and more people can ‘see’ or ‘sense’ the lie and thus reject it. They tried to shove Hillary down America’s throat… and failed. The Truth (that she is a pathological liar, psychopathic, and a career criminal) and the Lie (that she would be good for America) were too far apart.
But… from what I have heard, the MSM was shocked that Trump won. This is very interesting. Was the MSM ‘told’ Hillary was to win? Or is this simply a case of the MSM believing it’s own bullshit? Have to remind myself that most newscasters are NOT in the know, and in fact are very thought controlled. They are just useful tools for the Oligarchs. I’m not sure yet. I suppose that propaganda has it’s limits, and/or one is not affected by propaganda if they are not exposed to it. We know the major news networks are losing viewers in droves. Is this simply the fact that the Internet and Social Media are now more important than broadcast news? And since, for the time being, the Internet still has independent voices, thus people can break out of the MSM matrix of BS? Hence, why all the censorship is occurring or being threatened. This is what I perceive is happening.
Lastly and really the most important…Podesta and Pizzagate. This has blown the door, hell it’s blow the walls down, on just what kind of sick, depraved, criminals many within Washington DC are… and this illness applies equally to Democrats and Republicans. It appears this has really lit a fire under the MSM and the Criminal Class. It’s one thing to be caught in the midst of financial corruption.. it’s a whole other thing to get caught up in child pornography, child trafficking, child sexual abuse, child ritual abuse, and cannibalism. And as an aside, make no mistake, the NSA has been well aware of this, and for a long time.
So the Truth via independent sources with the help of the Internet has defeated Hillary and exposed a very large and connected Pedophile ring. So the High level bureaucrats and their underlings are angry and now running scared. Thus the real fake news, MSM, is calling the potential real news, Alt Media (there’s plenty of BS in the Alt Media, choose wisely), fake.

Exposing elites who run the world?
Yes, there are some that expose the figureheads, but to these actually “control the world”? I find no evidence of that. If anything the evidence points to a loop of subordinates that “proxy” order making all links “necessary, but expendable”. There is no doubt that double standards of justice/order exists. That is highlighted by “diplomatic immunity” or presidents that issue “pre-emptive pardons”.
Moving on. Point two
Exposing pedophile networks?
By some miraculous feat, the mainstream and “alternatives” find absolute congruity of this “issue”. I have yet to find a SINGLE allegation (and judicial conviction) targeting noteworthy personages “with basis”. All have been “hard evidence” lacking” and reliant entirely on “hearsay” (admirably mocked by Michael Jackson). That makes me very worried on a number of fronts. Beyond the noxious determination as to what “categorises” “a child”, it seems to me that any slander (in the wrong hands) can be used for malicious purposes. Both Trump and Clinton have “allegations” hanging over their heads “resigned to the closet” unless……Oh boy 😉
Ah, point three.

The mainstream Medias regularly admit to their own duplicity, but it’s those devious little lies and fabrications that slip the net. That’s importance of Jon Rappoport and resources of that ilk (I would hope my own, humble “Ozzie Thinker” would qualify). Personally, I am less concerned about the dying dinosaurs and their pointless propaganda than “fringe sources”. That is where the danger lies. The peril is in the subtlety. You talk of “education” extricating logic. Disjointed minds can clutch straws for sanctity. When wild allegations are considered seriously they create their own contexts building self-supporting idols. People need to learn how to determine “evidence” from conjecture (ebullient fantasy).

I am not sure enough has been done on this one. Even you, Jon, as plausible as your opinions are, have not gone anywhere near to puncturing the heart of this, for which I can think of no other expression other than, “conspiracy”. The consequence has forged a battle ground from wilful, disparate idealism with competing factions largely ignoring and/or steam-rolling the issues in wild, flailing attempts to serve their own distinct advantages.

Revealing the crimes of both major political parties in America?
I think if Trump doesn’t implement radical change, the political system is redundant. Then the “people” will have too options a) put up and shut up (or whine) b) civil war.

Yes, but only in conjunction with the recognition of the FAILING of Pasteur’s “germ theory” and how our petro-chemical laced atmosphere causes most diseases and all cancers.

Unfortunately a lot of alternatives seem “tied” to corporations, so duplicity is bound to creep in everywhere. I think everyone must make it damn clear who their sponsors are and that way viewers can go to the “opposition” to get presumed more “honest”, forthright accounts.

Well, some of the best doctors and scientists were labeled “quacks” if they found a cure for cancer of heart disease.

The mainstream of history is not always accurate and true; there are many lies of omission in the history books as well as blatant falsities.
You can prove using known physical laws that JFK was shot from the front and that WTC 7 was a controlled demolition. These are the the easiest examples to prove mainstream history false since video records exist of these events.
Another easy false paradigm to prove incorrect is the HIV/AIDS hypothesis.

I just read that Albert Einstein was a plagiarist. His seminal paper Zur Elektrodynamik bewegter Körper had no citations. Hardly any of it was novel and had been worked out by Lorenz and Poincare. Olinto De Pretto published the formula E=mc² two years before Einstein’s paper.
But no references to anyone. I have the cure for cancer. It is simple. Remove all pollution from the breathed atmosphere and there will be no more cancers. Heart disease should be an easy one to work out. I think it is also linked to the atmosphere (or what’s breathed in) in some way. A very high % of smokers are afflicted, but (as with cancers) manifestation is a combination of a number of factors (diet notwithstanding)..
Individuals are changing the world, as they always have. And change will take place proportional to how many people realize they are their own constellations of change. Thanks for this Jon. I began to rapidly lose my belief that MSM told the truth during the Vietnam war. ‘Bombing people back to the Stone Age’ was supposed to bring peace and democracy.
