Inside the FBI: agents’ outrage at Hillary email decision

—You’re an FBI agent. You sit and watch television night after night, as a Presidential candidate who should have been brought up on felony charges, and thereby disqualified and scuttled, moves through the land and makes promises about what she’ll do as the next leader of the nation. You sit and watch, deepening your grasp on how the system actually works—

How much blood is boiling among FBI agents?

Sharyl Attkisson, former CBS News investigative reporter, has the story:

“Many people at the FBI are outraged, but cannot speak out,” one insider told me,” Attkisson writes.

We’re talking about FBI Director James Comey’s recommendation that Hillary Clinton not be prosecuted in her email scandal. This, after thousands of hours of FBI work scouring the emails connected to Hillary’s illegal private server.

Here are several other comments FBI professionals made, off the record, to Attkisson, with my remarks in parentheses ():

“It appears to me they made a deal not to record [the key FBI-Hillary] interview.”

(This failure, as I wrote, means the interview is lost forever. No stenographic transcript was executed, either. FBI agents’ notes on the interview are useless. They can never be used against Hillary as ironclad evidence in a court of law.)

“Director Comey seems to have taken on responsibilities far beyond the FBI’s purview—he assumed the duties of the Agent, US Attorney and Grand Jury.”

(Indeed he did. He functioned as FBI Director, Grand Jury, Attorney General, and appellate judge. In this last role, he knowingly misinterpreted the Federal Penal Code, which clearly states that gross negligence in the handling of classified material is a crime, regardless of intent. Hillary was, at the very least, grossly negligent. FBI Director Comey acknowledged this.)

“It appears no Grand Jury was empaneled for this investigation. This is absurd, Grand Juries are used in nearly all criminal investigations.”

“Even in the most straightforward of cases, the time span between a target interview [of Hillary] and prosecution opinion [on whether to file charges] takes weeks, not days. If a good interview were conducted [with Clinton] on Saturday, there would have been leads or other new pieces of information to verify or investigate prior to any conclusion to the case.”

(In other words, the fix was already in.)

Attkisson: “During his Congressional testimony, Comey indicated he didn’t look into Clinton’s false statements. He said he needed an additional ‘referral’ or formal request [from Congress] for the FBI to investigate whether she committed perjury under oath to Congress. ‘This makes no sense,’ said a career agent. ‘It is normal practice that if you came upon evidence of a crime different than the one you were originally investigating, it was fair game.’”

(There is no need to wait for a request to investigate from Congress.)

You can bet many people at the FBI are boiling over after Director Comey’s recommendation that Hillary not be charged and prosecuted.

Level of Bureau morale now? Too low to measure.

How would you feel, if you’d spent months uncovering multiple breaches of the law, all of which your boss admitted were quite real—and then he turned around and said the suspect—a Presidential candidate—was innocent?

It’s your job to prove serious violations occurred, and you did, in a case that would have been the highlight of your career, to say nothing of supporting a little item called justice; but then your work was flushed down the drain.

The next time a case even vaguely approaching the magnitude of this one is tossed in your lap, how much commitment are you going to be able to marshal? You’ll know your facts and findings could well be deemed irrelevant, because the person at the top of your food chain is doing politics, not law. He’s essentially working for players who aren’t in your agency. He’s breaking the law, but you can’t touch him.

Your paycheck feeds your family and pays the rent. You want to do the right thing, but you’re trapped. You joined up for honor, but that ideal is off the table.

Your colleagues at work, who feel their own outrage, advise you to keep your mouth shut and move straight ahead, if you want to hold on to your job and grab a promotion somewhere out in the future. That’s what they’re doing.

So you’re living in a culture of corruption.

How does that sit with you?

You’re not naïve. For years you’ve known government is riddled with corruption and lies. But this time, it hits you. Personally. You’re paying the price. You did something honest and important, and suddenly it was transformed into nothing, and you have to pretend all is well.

You’re an FBI agent. You sit and watch television night after night, as a Presidential candidate who should have been brought up on a felony charge, and thereby disqualified and scuttled, moves through the land and makes promises about what she’ll do as the next leader of the nation. You sit and watch, deepening your personal knowledge of how the system actually works.

You’re a federal agent, and once upon a time you thought you had signed on to work for the good of the Republic.

You’re learning, when the chips are down, you’re actually laboring for an extended crime family.

How does that sit? How does it feel?

Are you going to decide you were an idiot for believing in a ideal above and beyond gross personal advantage?

Are you now going to go over to the dark side, and look for ways to grease the wheels of your career?

Or are you, against long odds, somehow going to find a way to stick to your derided principles?

As you sit and watch the news of this Presidential campaign, night after night, that’s the question you ponder, trying to see a way through the darkness.

Where is the dawn?

power outside the matrix

Of course, you and a few of your colleagues, who were intimately involved in the Clinton investigation, could decide to go public. On the record. You could find a media outlet somewhere that would listen to you. You could turn over your notes of the Hillary interview, and you could swear on a stack of bibles that those notes are an accurate reflection of the proceeding. You could explain your other findings. Perhaps, in all her emails, you found criminal connections between Hillary’s State Department and the infamous Clinton Foundation. You could tell the whole truth. You could take that giant step. You could cause a national uproar. You could make your own federal case.

This, too, is going through your mind as you sit in the darkness.

Looking for a way out.

People have told you that, in life, some choices are hard.

But you didn’t really believe these choices would be yours.

Now they are.

You’re sitting in the dark, you’re flying solo.

Looking for that way out.

“I [name] do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

At the end of your academy training, at your graduation ceremony, you took that oath, and as at every graduation, by long-standing tradition, the oath was personally administered by, of all people…

The Director of the FBI.

Hilary is 2 Candidates in One , first she’s a candidate for POTUS and then She’s a candidate for the “ Deep State “ and this is where the problem with maintaining USA Sovereignty exists .
The Deep State is who gave Hilary a Pass on accountability to the Civilians of the USA thus making US Citizens “ Subjects of the DEEP STATE !!!!!

Why are you so ‘on the side’ of the FBI agents complaining about this? – you are always saying that there is a deep conspiracy going on and all the government is up to no good, yet here you are being all political just like everybody else ! Of course there will be a difference of opinion among FBI agents – and those ‘speaking out’ are obviously Republicans – which I had thought you were not – so- now I know where you are – you are a Republican & nothing anybody does who is a Democrat is out of range of your barbs & pointy finger ! Such a stupid state of affairs. I am fed up with all of it as are all Americans, since no-one knows who to trust any more ! Nobody has any integrity !

    • Jacqueline says:

“Nobody has any integrity.” I believe that’s the closest your comment comes to summing Jon’s article: Integrity is currently difficult to exercise in this corrupted system we call the US without paying a tremendous price. Your remaining comments merely reflect personal assumption drawn by imposing two-sided thinking onto an article lacking even a single element to support your accusatory ‘conclusions.’

    • n3angus says:

What is the FBI Hiding About Hillary Clinton?

This conflicts with how the AG and FBI director repeated said they were proud of the way the Agents conducted the Investigation of Hilary !

President Obama made it clear that he did not want her charged. This was rigged from the start. The Clinton’s can’t be trusted, they would steal wooden nickles from a dead blind man, they have no shame. Just look what they did to Haiti and the 100 million dollars given after the earth quake. The Clinton Foundation or better none Clinton Crime Family. They kept 98% of the money. How could anyone want four more years of lies and scandals. James Comey broke the heart of the FBI,he makes J.Edgar Hoover look like a angle. What did the Clinton’s promise him?

  3. Patti Garrick says:

Brilliant piece of writing, Jon. Thank you. and thank you for helping us to understand how the FBI agents feel who worked on this case. Very sad and sobering.

    • rjoguillory says:

…I agree with all the points made in the essay…though I do not see much brilliance. I don’t even know if it is an accurate representation of The FBI. Sure, there may have been people working on this case who are PO’d…but how much corruption have we seen from The FBI in the past? Waco, Ruby Ridge, OK City….the cover up of 911….RFK, JFK, MLK…etc, etc. Or how about all the “terror plots” The FBI is setting up and then allegedly stopping or faking the plot? They have been a corrupt organization since their inception in 1908, I really wouldn’t trust them at any level. In fact, as a DoD Federally Protected Whistle Blower, most of my interactions the FBI exhibited a certain comical aspect to them. Corrupt, but with a Laurel & Hardy flavor to them.
      RJ O’Guillory

    • Grey says:

No offense man but why do people keep patting Jon on the back for writing a “brilliant article”? What’s so brilliant about seeing the corruption and lies in this system and then writing about it? I’ve done it here and there myself and there’s nothing special abut it. It becomes special when you’re putting your ass on the line, when you know you’ll lose something valuable for telling the truth. When that happens it meets Orwell’s observation that “In times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act”.

Come on people, Jon’s a good writer but he isn’t doing anything overly special other then having a great imagination in how he presents some truths to us (not this article mind you, but the ones that read like short stories are really imaginative and entertaining).

Don’t confuse this for an “attack” on Jon personally, since I believe he has more character and ethics then 99% of writers out there today.

When Truth is revealed, and it changes nothing, Truth becomes meaninglessness. When truth is meaningless, nothing matters.

  5. Susan says:

Your thinking and your writing convey both a clarity and a cogency that makes you a most inspiring figure to those of us fortunate enough to have you in our purview. I feel your words being heard in the quietest of desperate hearts as the conscience of those individuals you address in your article is sparked into motion by your considered and intelligent viewpoint. Kudos for being the voice of conscience that so needed to be heard.

  6. middleway says:

“…you’re actually laboring for an extended crime family.” This has been true for at least 2000 years. The illusion of money was created to rob the individual of the product of his labor and to finance the expansion of the extended crime family’s control. Ironic how the laborers have historically been used to finance their own enslavement.

  7. Luke says:

It just leaves a sick feeling in your stomach. I am not naive enough to kid myself that this is a perfect world, and that justice always prevails. I am too old and tired for that mindset. But somewhere along the line with a high profile case like this. Seemingly beyond your control, you get drawn in and emotionally caught up in the proceedings. Then in the end, the hypocrisy and obvious miscarriage of justice hits you in the solar plexus like a sucker punch. Then to top off the one two punch is Bernie Sanders. No end to the hypocrisy in our leaders today. Is there?

  8. Daniel Noel says:

How could the FBI agents who won’t blow the whistle on something as trivial as Building 7 do so over Hillary’s emails?

    Love,

    • Ginger says:

Daniel, that is a very good question. They didn’t blow the whistle on the big false flag that led us into many wars and great loss of life….all because of wanting to save their own jobs. Sonnenfeld in Argentina is the only one who speaks out about it AND managed to get sort of safe. I guess getting safe IS the key, and more people need to give up their careers, leave the country, then speak out.

  9. MA in MO says:

As a person who has been faced with — “do I speak out and loose my job, or do I keep my mouth shut and pay the mortgage” — I know all to well the frustration and the feeling of helplessness that is happening within the FBI. The only thing that got me through this was my faith. My faith tells me that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of Lord’s and King of King’s and at the judgement seat of God Almighty all of these ugly deeds will be revealed and dealt with by this phrase — “Depart from me, I never knew you!” Revenge is mine thus says the Lord!!! Please come quickly Lord Jesus.

    • Luke says:

I too await the appearing of our Lord and Savior. Not as far off as some might think. On Sept. 23, 2017, the wonder or sign in the heavens written about in Re 12:1 will appear the only time in history. See more about this in lead article at

      • @Luke

Sept 23, 2017….nah I going fishin that weeekend.

I’m here already, and then I’m booked up to the year 3000.
I came here for quick italian ice cream. Hard to get real italian ice-cream.

        Just few points to note.
What made you think I would clean up your room?
Why would I do your laundry?
Why do you think I would want to tackle a shit storm of your own making…huh.

I gave a little bit of advice back then and now, I gotta save the goddam planet.

Get you lazy ass up and fix it yourself.

Did’nt I say render under Ceasar, what is Ceasar’s. WTF
What part of that don’t you understand?

        • Luke says:

          2 Peter 3:8-11 KJVS
[8] But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. [9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. [10] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. [11] Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

  10. legal eagle says:

They could force Comey to resign in disgrace, but then that would show some integrity, and it IS the FBI after all.

  11. These are the same people who were fine with, murdering women and children of Waco, covering up the Oklahoma city bombing, falsely accusing Bruce Edwards Ivins (prob. covered up his murder too), orchestrated the World Trade bombings of ’93. And lets not forget the amount of manufactured terror events of late through, illegally using entrapment. The FBI can sit down for all I care. They don’t have a moral right to say a thing.

Note: The Federal Bureau of Investigations are a tentacle of the Federal Reserve Bank. They are there to maintain the status quo and continuity of (their) government. Investigation really means cover up the crimes which would normally bring down their giant ponzi scheme.

    • frank lindeer says:

Exactly! And thats what people are failing to realise, they are in on it 100% FBI=Fedaral Reserve Intelligence Agentcy. It is a shadow government agentcy colluding in a takeover of the USA Government.

  12. Sn SM says:

“They could force Comey to resign in disgrace, but then that would show some integrity, and it IS the FBI after all.””

legal eagle beat me to it… After the thousands of examples of FBI corruption to think this was
actually going to go against FBI history and organizational corruption was just “magical
thinking”. Understand this if nothing else….the FBI are the elites secret police.. They may
even chase a bank robber or kidnapper occasionally to keep up appearances but that is
NOT their ob….Cointelpro and prosecuting anything threatening the elite is their job. I
personally thing the “rage” is just for show…the “agents” knew it was a joke from the
start…but the overtime and the PR was nice….

  13. Or is this another expansion of the “op”, Jon and has Sharyl been “played”?

They tried the same stunt with Bush, I recall. Everything that happened was entirely his fault and a few other “big wigs”, but, hey, the republican party isn’t a “den of crooks”. Here’s some similar sentiment. It’s only “certain” NAZI’s (some interpret as meaning “Nationalistic Zionists”) that were evil; Hitler and a few other bad eggs. The rest were “AOK”.

The FBI’s track record has been dreadful from conception, they expect to and do operate with absolute impunity – hang the consequences (Waco). They are as dishonourable as any other hired militia – tip to toe. Lest we forget…..

    Best
    OT

  14. I am confused. Was this post about the USA or Zimbabwe? Ah, I get it….. Idi Amin.

  15. Don McCoy says:

Yeah, yeah…all the FBI agents are “outraged” but I don’t see them doing anything about it…what about that FBI resignation-exodus we were told to expect, if Shrillery walked away from this?

The FBI are just ANOTHER symptom of the problem. ANOTHER Federal agency abdicating its responsibility and duty in the face of tyranny.

  16. Dominick says:

They’re all corrupt… They put many people away for far less.

  17. Skeptik1964 says:

There is no justice in the land. The FBI, the Justice Dept, the Executive Branch, the Legislative, the courts, all corrupt and not even bothering to hide it. We are now an out-in-the-open Banana Republic, run by thugs and thieves.

  18. TimeToWakeUpAmerica says:

“Inside the FBI: agents’ outrage at Hillary email decision”?

So, WHAT are you going to DO ABOUT IT ~ FBI AGENTS? ANYTHING?

Look. Hillary Clinton and James Comey work for the SAME WESTERN “ELITES”.

Read the book, entitled _THE COMMITTEE OF 300_, by Dr. John Coleman, former MI6 (BRITISH INTELLIGENCE). He gives you a SCHOLARLY, fact-filled HISTORY of who, exactly, the Western “elites” are, who FINANCES them, who their main Allies (or Subsidiaries) are, WHAT THEIR AGENDA IS, & how they’ve got the majority of people, Americans especially (thanks to their TAVISTOCK INSTITUTE, and their stranglehold on the U.S. Public “Education” System, the MainStream Media, & Hollywood), walking around like mind-less, brain-dead zombies, without a single CLUE, as to what is ACTUALLY going on. HE COVERS IT ALL. EVERY American needs to read THIS book.

  19. BRF says:

If we feel nauseated by what Comey and Lyinch have wrought we can only imagine how the agents and others close to this nation wrecking corruption must feel. They have my sympathies on the death of law and justice they witnessed first hand at this milestone. To a certain extent we know this is how the world operates but when it is blatantly slapped in your face as in this case the sting is felt in the soul, which dies a little from this infection of absolute corruption at the highest levels. Let the grieving process begin.

  20. bob klinck says:

“FBI agents’ notes on the interview are useless. They can never be used against Hillary as ironclad evidence in a court of law.” One would hope that such notes could not be used as evidence in a court of law. In Canada, however, the Supreme Court has said that such notes can be used in the prosecution of alleged terrorists, on what are called “security certificates”. The Canadian judicial system is rotten at the top.

    • n3angus says:

The Fix was in from the beginning , they didn’t even record the interview with Hillary , it was all just media dog and pony show to propagandize the appearance that she was being investigated !!!!! WELCOME to your Clinton Monarchy , that was actually the ones in charge fr the past 8 years of Obamas presidency , When Obama took office in 09 most of the Clinton administration was brought back in , so its been the Obama Hilary Monarchy for the past 8 years .
