“If you want a winning role, act like a scientist. Talk like a scientist. Imagine that everything you say is backed by a study published in a peer-reviewed journal.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)

Objectivity. What more could you want? What could be more objective than science? What could be less open to dispute? Who could be more authoritative than a scientist? What could influence public opinion more thoroughly than a whole group of scientists, an establishment of scientists, backed by the government?

Notice that when a news anchor takes an unimpeachable statement from a scientist, they both sound like scientists. The double whammy.

It impresses the rubes and yokels and even the well-educated viewers.

This is no accident.

It’s a system of persuasion.

I published this quote yesterday. Here it is again:

“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.” —Marcia Angell, MD (“Drug Companies and Doctors: A story of Corruption.” NY Review of Books, Jan. 15, 2009.)

Essentially, Angell is saying that fraud dressed up to look like science is pervasive in official medical media.

So it is in the news business.

The veneer and the tone and pose of objectivity are a front, a con.

Take the breaking story of NBC’s Brian Williams, “the most trusted name in news.” He lied about being in a helicopter taking fire in Iraq in 2003. He admitted the lie yesterday, and in his confession he apparently lied again, giving the false impression that the helicopter right in front of his took the fire, when at least one soldier on the scene states that Williams’ helicopter wasn’t even in the same formation, but landed some time later.

The impact of Williams lying is magnified by his persona of objectivity, which is on display every night on NBC. The objective man was lying. He was making it up. He was faking it.

Consider the 2004 Pediatrics study which exonerated the MMR vaccine and claimed it was in no way connected to autism. Objective science. But last August, one of the authors of the study, William Thompson, a long-time researcher at the CDC, released a statement through his attorney, Rick Morgan, confessing that he and his co-authors had lied, omitted vital data, rigged the study, in order to give the vaccine a free pass.

An objective expert—a rank liar.

Centuries ago, when a ruling priest addressed an audience and shouted and pointed at the sky and warned of great danger and destruction, and told of curses, and laid out a path for appeasing the gods, he was considered an “objective authority.” He wasn’t accused of ranting.

Today, the appearance of scientific objectivity is the key. Whoever holds that key is considered an authority. Therefore, many, many people affect that pose. Especially in the news business.

In days gone by, priestly shouting was accepted as a truth-indicator and thus induced a trance. Today, the pose of science induces the trance.

Mainstream television news has staged itself as a “conveyer of science.” Because it works.

power outside the matrix

This is the reality egg: the pose and appearance of scientific objectivity. This is how the egg is built.

But here is the truth. The egg, the enclosed dome are being built for us by messengers who appear to be objective. They’re the narrators. They’re the news princes and the “scientists.” They’re the key actors.

They can mix image and word and algorithm and computer model to prove anything, and in doing so they can act as if they’re reporting facts—rather than building the egg.

The egg is there for one reason: to convince us that each one of us can’t invent his own open realities, to convince us that we can’t find ways to cooperate, as free and independent and powerful individuals, and crack the egg.

Their strategy and pose is failing. Badly.

Now that’s a news story.

That has legs.

So enjoy your voice of reason and clarity on how things are in this world…..I just hope humanity wakes up in time.

  3. Is he one of those symbols that have become a hardened energy…once the cracks appear, it won’t take long and he will be shuffled of to pasture with a field full heifers. And they will bring on a new ‘Max headroom’.
    Talking heads…they lie…who needs them.

“A guy walks into the doctor’s office. A banana stuck in one of his ears, a head of lettuce in the other ear, and a carrot stuck in one nostril. The man says, “Doc, this is terrible. What’s wrong with me?” The doctor says, “Well, first of all, you need to eat more sensibly.”

    Too funny…

There isn’t much pure science being done anymore. Too much big business behind it all now. It does tend to squew the results.

  5. Sean T says:

Why? I can’t imagine “Stars and Stripes” would run story like that without approval, so why would the regime want to discredit a loyal salesman like Brian Williams?

    • Maureen says:

I read the S&S article and the comments section. This is largely a Step To The Right audience poised for an anti-liberal “event”. The Powers That Be are getting ready for the pendulum to swing back to the right politically in our living soap opera. This will fit nicely with the narrative. A swinging pendulum keeps us all in a trance.

Maybe part of their “humiliation ritual”?

      • Sean T says:

Must be something like that. They throw one of the fortunate ones to the wolves every once in a while. Lance, Tiger, Cosby….Maybe to keep the other baboons in line?

  6. The sad news of this posting, so many lives are being sacrificed fueled by all the corrupt entities, not held accountable and protected legally against public recourse.

  7. Ivy League research studies suggest that... says:

This is very true. In the past, you could not question a priest. Now, you can’t question a scientist. The stupidity of the human race never goes away. The forms of the stupidity merely change with the times. You used to be able to lie to people in the language of faith. Now, you must lie to them in the language of Science (Scientism). EVERYTHING I said in this comment has been verified by peer-reviewed studies in major medical journals. So, you can feel proud of believing it.

  8. oddie says:

please explain how Brian Williams gets to keep his job. surely this is a sackable offence.

    • Cowa Bunga says:

His job is lying. He is doing a good job overall, so he gets to keep his job. Unless people stop believing him. Then he will be fired.

  9. Greg Osborne says:

This is a deadly serious issue that calls into question the conviction in which we hold our own core beliefs to be relevant in a healthy and functioning society. In our desire to advance Humanity to its highest state of being, we must vow to hold our institutions and ourselves to the highest…

OH SCREW THAT! I haven’t stopped laughing since this morning when I heard that Big-Time-TeeVee-News-Boy got his nuts in a wringer for lying through his teeth!!

It’s like getting TWO Christmas’s and TWO birthdays in ONE year!!

  10. Jack O'Keefer says:

Very true. I once worked in television news. Most all of it was rubbish and not really important at all. The real news is never reported. I hope your readers appreciate your “cracking” of the egg here. Now go get your vaccinations my good sheeple. The gubmint says its good for you!

In addition to Brian Williams, another one who is a true master in this way of presenting himself is none other than (“a child can handle 10,000 vaccines!” (http://vactruth.com/2012/04/16/10000-crazy-vaccines/) and “inventor of rotavirus vaccine” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Offit)) **Dr Paul Offit.**

On a related note, cnnmoney is promoting an anti-anti-establishment kill piece on “the vaccine skeptics”, following the money trail as though this group was any different than the AMA etc. funding its own research. They have a new young voice of authority / cheerleader. Ugh. http://money.cnn.com/video/news/2015/02/05/the-money-behind-the-vaccine-medical-myth.cnnmoney/index.html?iid=HP_LN

    • NWO Reporter says:

Wow. That is like one long comedy of logical errors and unsupported assumptions. People used to think the smallpox vaccine caused their child to get diabetes, but then we isolated insulin and that “nonsense” went away. Really? “Yes, Mrs. Smith, we’ve determined your child’s diabetes couldn’t have been caused by the vaccine because it was actually caused by a sudden and inexplicable inability to produce insulin.”

Offit didn’t want to debate the opposition because the science is all on his side, and it wouldn’t be fair. I guess it just wouldn’t help the viewers to watch him slay the opposition with superior science. The viewers will be much better served if he just announces afterward that everything the opposition said was nonsense.

  12. From Québec says:

“The veneer and the tone and pose of objectivity are a front, a con”

They lay the egg to us very carefully, with a lot of dexterity, otherwise, they might drop it and the egg would crack open.

  13. And yet,

How badly they flail about when their shortcomings and deceit are exposed for all to see. “Pay no attention to that man over there!” And so was all who beheld the spectacle of their majesty, enthralled with their trances. It is they, who say what the reality is, and it is the masses, who are expect to consume the toxic atmosphere of subdued self-judgment – in the face of “the gods of truth”.

Be he cursed, he who of self-propelled determination and keen insight, that he shall endanger the molded minds of the many. Let his words nary be heard, but barely above the whisper of the breeze. Let his heart be shorn from him, that he may feel not, the pangs of righteous indignation when put to him, those things that injure his individuality. Let the masses rejoice in their omnipotent ignorance, and in their reverence for the “sooth-sayers” of the day. For the majority be made up of sincere fools!

Thank you for another fine article of intense critical-thinking.

    – Rev. Dragon’s Eye

  14. Sherlock says:

Wow! His apology is even worse. Brian didn’t lie, he misremembered… Or didn’t chose to make this mistake.

Then he said: “… and the fog of memory over 12 years — made me conflate the two, and I apologize”.

Ok, but he lied about that for the first time in 2003, the same year it happened. He’s able to conflate an event in which he participated with an event he made up… or heard about 30-60 minutes later? This guy is able to conflate a normal ride with being on a different helicopter that was hit by an RPG. Isn’t grotesque enough?

It seems that all others NBC employees with him that day in the same helicopter have never tried to correct him. They have allowed the false story to be aired again and again.

Few people say Brian Williams should be fired because he’s a liar. Come on! Lying is what Brian does for living. The first day he stops, the system will collapse.

  15. brad says:

We’re so steeped in willful institutional deception it’s a wonder consensus reality is holding together at all. Do people like Williams really understand how low they’ve sunk? Have we, as a society, wandered so far off track that we no longer care about basing our lives here on any semblance of integrity? A shockingly sad state of affairs when you really think about it. I hope you’re right, that “their strategy and pose is failing”. Seems that’s only true if people, on a massive scale, are seeing the deception; is that happening yet?
