The Ebola test: let the test’s inventor speak

Amidst the hysteria about Ebola, one stubborn fact sits like a rock: everything depends upon being able to accurately diagnose Ebola in each patient.

And then it follows: you must examine the test that is being used to diagnose Ebola. Is it accurate? Does it have flaws? Is it being applied correctly?

Because, if there is a serious problem with the test, the whole house of cards collapses. The entire narrative about Ebola is fatally flawed.

Last week, when a man was admitted to a hospital in Dallas, the CDC held a press conference. CDC Director Tom Frieden stated that this patient had been diagnosed with Ebola—with a test that is “highly accurate. It’s a PCR test of blood.” (see the 2m06s mark in the video of the press conference.)

This is, indeed, the test of choice for Ebola.

However, as I’ve written, the PCR test has problems. It is open to errors. One of those errors occurs right at the beginning of the procedure:

Is the sample taken from the patient actually a virus or a piece of a virus? Or is it just an irrelevant piece of debris?

Another problem is inherent in the method of the PCR itself. The test is based on the amplification of a tiny, tiny speck of genetic material taken from a patient—blowing it up millions of times until it can be observed and analyzed.

Researchers who employ the test claim that, as a result of the procedure, they can also infer the quantity of virus that is present in the patient.

This is crucial, because unless a patient has millions and millions of Ebola virus in his body, there is absolutely no reason to think he is sick or will become sick.

So the question is: can the PCR test allow researchers and doctors to say how much virus is in a patient’s body?

Many years ago, journalist John Lauritsen approached a man named Kary Mullis for an answer.

Source-1: For a brief excerpt from John Lauritsen’s article about Kary Mullis, see Frontiers in Public Health, 23 September, 2014, “Questioning the HIV-AIDS hypothesis: 30 years of dissent,” by Patricia Goodson. (See also this.)

Source-2: For John’s 1996 article in full, see “Has Provincetown Become Protease Town?”

“Kary Mullis… is thoroughly convinced that HIV is not the cause of AIDS. With regard to the viral-load tests, which attempt to use PCR for counting viruses, Mullis has stated: ‘Quantitative PCR is an oxymoron.’ PCR is intended to identify substances qualitatively, but by its very nature is unsuited for estimating numbers. Although there is a common misimpression that the viral-load tests actually count the number of viruses in the blood, these tests cannot detect free, infectious viruses at all; they can only detect proteins that are believed, in some cases wrongly, to be unique to HIV. The tests can detect genetic sequences of viruses, but not viruses themselves.”

Kary Mullis is a biochemist. He is also a Nobel Prize winner (1993, Chemistry).

And oh yes, one other thing.

Mullis invented the PCR.

That’s why he won the Nobel Prize.

Mullis’ answer was succinct: “Quantitative PCR is an oxymoron.”

Translation: the PCR test can’t be used to say how much virus is in a person’s body.

Therefore, the CDC’s gold standard for testing Ebola patients says nothing about whether they are sick or will become sick. It says nothing about why some patients do become sick.

And the other problems with the test are significant as well: errors in carrying out the highly sensitive procedure; lab contamination of the sample taken from the patient; choice of a sample that is not a virus at all, or is the wrong virus.

And upon this foundation of sand, the whole “Ebola epidemic” is being foisted on the public.

In analyzing so-called epidemics and their causes for 27 years now (starting with my first book, “AIDS Inc., Scandal of the Century”), I have often pointed out that the diagnostic test is the key—unless people want to jump to conclusions and spread fear and walk down the wrong road, while patients die for reasons other than the stated causes—including misdirected and highly toxic medical treatment.

Again, I point that out now.

I find it fascinating that the USGovt is commissioning the construction of “decontamination centers” in the western US. Since they know enough to build the structures in advance, one would think perhaps they could neutralize the threat — for pennies on the dollar, no less.

… unless, of course, THEY ARE THE THREAT.

        Colloidal silver is effective against bacteria, virus, amoebae and other protozoans;

“There is little defense against this kind of attack, and what few antidotes exist are withheld from the public as military secrets One of the best examples of this is Movidyn, a substance that the Soviets discovered in their satellite state of Czechoslovakia way back in the 1 950s. Movidyn is a form of colloidal silver, odorless, tasteless, and cheaper to produce than chlorine disinfectants. One part per billion of powdered Movidyn in water has a germicidal effect. In a study of infected wells, it completely destroyed typhus, malaria, cholera, and amoebic dysentery. Drinking containers washed in Movidyn retained their germ-fighting abilities for several weeks. Movidyn seems to be a cost-effective prophylactic for most of the waterborne diseases that infect the Third World. To the astonishment of the Soviet military, Movidyn also disinfected every germ warfare bacteria in the Soviet arsenal, even their newest designer poisons. In other words, Movidyn was too good.”

Oh yes. This is hype in preparation for when They chemtrail Us with virii. And then poison Us with vaccines.

    • johnmarkmcguire says:

The chemtrail poisonings have already begun.

On the subject of aerosol poisoning, can anyone honestly look at this government’s track record for caring about the rights, safety and well-being of ANY people, ANYWHERE — outside their own small sphere of influence, of course — and just make the assumption that it’s okay to breathe the trails we all see dumped in the sky everyday, that slowly, steadily descend down upon us?

You see the planes everyday now, and they saturate the skies with poison. (… and I live in a sparsely-populated region of North Central Florida.) All the trees in this community are either dead or well on their way. They are all now covered with this nasty yellow-green fungi that you only saw occasionally, just five or six years ago. Every time there’s heavy winds or a hard rain, there are more trees that fall. (I walk a large stretch of property here twice a day with my two dogs.) At least 95% of them are rotted out on the inside

If you go outside in the middle of the night, you can’t see the planes, obviously, but you can still hear them flying — usually three or four at a time, continuously. You wake up the next morning and the skies are already covered with the crap.

Very few people say anything about it — as if it is more important that people not think bad of you than it is to address the fact that we are all being systematically exterminated.

Oh, indeed the chemtrail poisoning has begun. Nanoparticulates of aluminum, strontium, barium and other nasties. But that is soft kill. If They release the virus, that will be hard kill.

And the reason the “government” has no interest in the People has everything to do with its being a corporation that was established in 1871 (when “executive orders” came into being) and it is not beholden to We, the People, but to its foreign investors. (In fact most “governments” are corporations…). Look up the Act of 1871. Though ostensibly for only the District of Columbia, it masquerades as the “government” today, and Our original government stands vacant.

Following along the trail that the “Ebola” scare is quite possibly NOT Ebola … I still contend it’s wise to have our immune systems in tip top shape, because with this kind of roll out of WHATEVER they’re plotting, it would be good to have a body healthy enough to reject poisoning and/or infection from unknown causes or (Goddess forbid) mandatory vaccines. It’s also wise to have extra food and water on hand, just in case a fake or real pandemic of a different sort sneaks in the backdoor while everyone’s watching the front. Worst(?) case scenario, upping nutrition and immune function will leave us all feeling healthier, more energetic and clearer, and having extra supplies on hand will leave everyone feeling more secure and less dependent on/influenced by external circumstances.

    • johnmarkmcguire says:

Very true, Laura; we can all take the action, as individuals, of optimizing our immune system health. There has certainly never been a time when such action would be deemed more crucial than at the present. Our health is being assaulted on every front, it seems.

    • itsonlyausername says:

Have you any detailed suggestions for a simple but effective dietary uptake that most people can not just afford but can readily obtain? I live in the UK and the press are already screaming about how there is a 50% chance of Ebola coming to the EU/UK in the next few weeks. How to drum up medical trade? Scare the children and lets not be naive about this the average adult population are not much better than children when it comes to being scared. They have become so beholden to the governments promises and the illusion that they will somehow protect them that they even scream when the lights go out. So in a nut shell we are going to find ourselves facing the biggest shit storm of global public panic that has ever occurred since the beginning of time. Would be nice to avoid it all but I don’t think we will have much chance to steer clear.

      • johnmarkmcguire says:

A diet with plenty of raw organic fruits and vegetables is a good place to start.

Another important element that is rarely discussed — especially in the “medical community” — is the body’s pH. Keeping it in an alkaline (non-acidic; basic) state is maintaining a physical environment where cancer cannot exist.

It wouldn’t be much of a stretch to assume that once a body’s pH is restored back into a healthy range that it would have a positive impact on one’s immune system.

It tastes like crap, but simply consuming organic baking soda is a means for restoring pH, which is why, in various forms (such as mixed with maple syrup), baking soda has used as a natural remedy for cancer.

      • laurabruno says:

Well, I’m not familiar with what’s readily available in the UK. I grow much of our own food here in the US and have a fall/winter garden, too, so what I would do is different than what many would do. You might want to check out http://bodyecology.com and/or Sandor Katz for info on fermenting your own foods, since immunity really begins in the gut. Various herbs and spices — like oregano, thyme, garlic, turmeric, ginger — can also be incorporated into food prep so that your foods are supercharging your immune system. For non-vegetarians, I’d say look into homemade bone broth made from organic/grass fed animals’ bones. In the UK, make sure you’re getting plenty of Vitamin D. I like Green Pastures brand cod liver oil, as it’s raw and fermented for better absorption, plus highly tested for contaminants. It’s pricey, though, so if you can find a better alternative, great. Vitamin C, ascorbic acid (try to find a non-GMO kind), and vitamin C rich foods (look up the list, and keep in mind Vit C is heat sensitive). I personally have a colloidal silver generator, and I have long used essential oils rather than any kind of pharmaceuticals. There’s a learning curve on those, but info’s available. If you’re taking them internally, just make sure they are food grade.

The fermented foods, bone broth, vitamins D and C and a homemade remedy called Fire Cider Remedy are things that anyone could do or acquire with a little effort and not too much expense. Other things to consider would be having warm clothes, extra food and water and general sanitary items on hand. I really doubt it will be Ebola, but I’d be shocked if “it” is not something. They are just hyping Ebola so much that I rather suspect it will be something else.

None of this is medical or nutritional advice… just sharing things I’ve tried and/or have known to help friends, family and/or clients. I personally swear by oil of oregano for killing viruses. I’ve not been sick in at least a decade, but I think it’s closer to 15 years, even if everyone around me got sick.

Best of luck and health to you and everyone!

Actually, the book Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon is a great place to start if you’re looking for things that won’t break the bank but will nourish you deeply. Highly recommended, along with http://bodyecology.com and Sandor Katz.

Many thanks for all the feedback. I do grow a load of food using permaculture techniques and in particular Huglekultur ridges which are pretty effective at regenerating soil fungi. I also reckon that using probiotics is essential but avoid the little bottled liquid yoghurt drinks from the supermarkets like the plague. Too much sugar in them to make them taste nice. Defeats the object of the exercise. Instead I get pro-biotic powder from the herb shop made by Viridian. Works a treat.

          • laurabruno says:

Sounds great! I use a lot of permaculture techniques here, too, including Hugelkultur. Next year’s project is medicinal and edible mushrooms, which should grow well in all the wood mulch. 🙂 Cheers and good health!

    • theodorewesson says:

      Hi Ayn, thanks.

Do the documents you reference say what test was used to diagnose the “Madagascar Ebola”?

      Was it the PCR?

      • aynrandiano2 says:

It was 1989, so I suppose it was not PCR, but an “antibodies test”. In 1989 PCR was still in its infancy.

Nowadays they recognize that the “antibodies test” is not very good, i.e., is crap.

The current test is always “the good test”. Only the not-current test they recognize it is crap.

BTW, I got the manual from the FDA for the PCR for the “ébola outbreak”, edition 2014:

        http://www.fda.gov/downloads/MedicalDevices/Safety/EmergencySituations/UCM408334.pdf

Look how elegantly they have solved this pesky issue of the “false positives”:

“Testing with the EZ1 assay should not be performed unless the individual has been exposed to or is at risk for exposure to Ebola Zaire virus or has signs and symptoms of infection with Ebola Zaire virus (detected in the West Africa outbreak in 2014) that meet clinical and epidemiologic criteria for testing suspect specimens.”

Brilliant!. They are not going to have any “false positive” because they are not going to test the test testing “non infected” persons.

Hey, it is impossible to FALSIFY this test, and therefore it is UNSCIENTIFIC (Karl Popper dixit).

Ayn I think it’s not always the PCR test that is used because the ‘results’ are presented too quickly. In the USAMRIID study that was presented in july of this year they wrote of IgM that was used and I gather that this relates to antibody tests.
          http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/07/140714122908.htm

I wonder why virologists did not step back and thought hard about publishing this study. Why? Because they found such a bunch of virus from all over the world: Is it probable those poor people from remote villages in Africa stepping into planes and ‘catching’ virus from South America or Asia? But no, the experts did not question their results but presented them to the world.

Since testing was started by USAMRIID in 2006 at Kenema, the center of todays ‘outbreak’, they found antibodies for Ebola and Marburg ( a town in Germany where a virus was ‘detected’ in people of a vaccine producing company after having worked with green monkeys – yes, again the infamous green monkey ). But there was no outbreak from 2006 to 2013.

Will the antibody-means-protection-cult of the vaccine promoters implode under the Ebola vaccine? It has been a close call with the HIV vaccine..People who were vaccinated tested ‘positive’ for HIV afterwards. This phenomenon brought us the advent of VISP, Vaccine-Induced SeroPositive test result .People who have taken part in a HIV vaccine trial are told that they must refuse a ‘standard’ HIV test and turn to their study site and get a ‘right’ HIV test ( purportedly looking for the virus ). I gather this means getting a PCR test
          http://www.hvtn.org/en/participants/visp-hiv-testing.html

What will happen when people are vaccinated with ‘chimpanzee-derived adenovirus vector with an Ebola virus gene inserted’? Or with ‘weakened vesicular stomatitis virus, a pathogen found in livestock; one of its genes has been replaced by an Ebola virus gene’?
          http://www.who.int/mediacentre/news/ebola/01-october-2014/en/

Will the vaccinated people test ‘positiv’ afterwards? Will this mean ‘infected’ following the ‘standards’ of virology? Will people line up and get a shot with the gene of a virus that has been advertised as being deadly?

        • So all those people dying from ebola, you’re what saying they aren’t real?

      • raymond says:

Maybe someone should ask Kary Mullis his opinion on Ebola and Ebola tests? He might know most about PCR.

Thank you for these links, I know enough to not believe one word the US government or any of it’s agencies says but it was an eye-opener to read that a good percentage of these symptom-free African populations test positive for Ebola + it’s cousins. The scare-mongering is just another attempt by Pharma to mandate it’s products for everyone since folks here are finally waking up to the dangers of vaccines – I suspect a good diet, clean water, vitamin C + K (deficiencies cause hemorrhage) would easily cure Ebola.

In the background, for a variety of reasons and at the advise of their trusted doctors, millions of people routinely sign up for a blood work test to determine what is wrong with them. The form a great number of them sign (all of them?) says they agree to do whatever procedure the so-called “expert” determines is best.

I imagine that blood work test is a PCR.

I also imagine most people do not read the fine print in the document they sign which says they agree to do “whatever” the blood test specialist says to do as a result of those findings. Even if the, “recommended” procedure, which they cannot refuse, kills them or causes them great harm.
