The solution to everything: slavery to the State

Let me clarify that. Slavery to the corporate State. Government and mega-corporations work hand in hand.
The incurably naïve believe the State is beneficent. The government is kind. The government knows what to do. The government will solve society’s ills if we let it.
Of course, the government, in the form of NSA, is spying on everybody all the time—but you see, that’s not really the government. It’s a rogue element.
Sure it is. And rainbows will appear at any moment and the people of Earth will experience a galactic frequency that eradicates all impulses toward conflict.
To put it another way, people see what they want to see.
“Ahem, when I say ‘government,’ I don’t mean the CIA or the Pentagon or the FDA or the President’s national security team, or fraudulent federal scientists, or the whole lot of venal people in Congress, or corrupt prosecutors and judges or invasive bureaucrats or paper-pushing money-sucking desk jockeys.”
Of course not. Government is an idea in the mind of God.
And when you think about it, the NSA watches over us to make sure we stay on the path of righteousness. It’s absurd to be suspicious of the State. The authors of the Constitution, who tried to limit central authority, were a bunch of paranoids.
We need more government, not less.
Here are quotes from George Orwell. In case there is any doubt, he is describing aspects of the State:
“As I write, highly civilized human beings are flying overhead, trying to kill me. They do not feel any enmity against me as an individual, nor I against them. They are ‘only doing their duty’, as the saying goes. Most of them, I have no doubt, are kind-hearted law-abiding men who would never dream of committing murder in private life.” (The Lion and the Unicorn, 1941)
“Actions are held to be good or bad, not on their own merits, but according to who does them, and there is almost no kind of outrage — torture, the use of hostages, forced labour, mass deportations, imprisonment without trial, forgery, assassination, the bombing of civilians — which does not change its moral colour when it is committed by ‘our’ side.” (Notes on Nationalism, 1945)
“A totalitarian state is in effect a theocracy, and its ruling caste, in order to keep its position, has to be thought of as infallible. But since, in practice, no one is infallible, it is frequently necessary to rearrange past events in order to show that this or that mistake was not made, or that this or that imaginary triumph actually happened. Then, again, every major change in policy demands a corresponding change of doctrine and a revaluation of prominent historical figures.” (The Prevention of Literature, 1946)
“But actually, he thought as he re-adjusted the Ministry of Plenty’s figures, it was not even forgery. It was merely the substitution of one piece of nonsense for another. Most of the material that you were dealing with had no connexion with anything in the real world, not even the kind of connexion that is contained in a direct lie. Statistics were just as much a fantasy in their original version as in their rectified version.” (1984, chapter 4)
“Don’t you see that the whole aim of Newspeak is to narrow the range of thought? In the end we shall make thoughtcrime literally impossible, because there will be no words in which to express it. Every concept that can ever be needed, will be expressed by exactly one word, with its meaning rigidly defined and all its subsidiary meanings rubbed out and forgotten.” (1984, chapter 5)
But you see, these are all old Orwell remarks. Now we have a different kind of State. It’s…government. Yes. The State isn’t government. Aha. The State exists in places other than America. In America, we have government. Yes, that’s right. Two different animals. One is repressive, and the other is earnest. (More rainbows for the sentimentalists.)
Here are quotes about the State from Aldous Huxley’s 1932 novel, Brave New World:
“Till at last the child’s mind is these suggestions, and the sum of the suggestions is the child’s mind. And not the child’s mind only. The adult’s mind too—all his life long. The mind that judges and desires and decides—made up of these suggestions. But all these suggestions are our suggestions!” (Chapter 2)
“Every one belongs to every one else.” (Chapter 3)
“Mother, monogamy, romance. High spurts the fountain; fierce and foamy the wild jet. The urge has but a single outlet. My love, my baby. No wonder these poor pre-moderns were mad and wicked and miserable.” (Chapter 3)
“Everyone works for every one else.” (Chapter 5)
“Don’t you wish you were free, Lenina?”
“I don’t know what you mean. I am free. Free to have the most wonderful time. Everybody’s happy nowadays.”
He laughed, “Yes, ‘Everybody’s happy nowadays.’ We begin giving the children that at five. But wouldn’t you like to be free to be happy in some other way, Lenina? In your own way, for example; not in everybody else’s way.”
“I don’t know what you mean,” she repeated. (Chapter 6)
But again, Huxley’s remarks are about the aspirations and victories of the State, which doesn’t exist in America. Never has.
In America, we have a fluid and flexible government, which tries to respond to the people’s needs. Of course. Just ask Elizabeth Warren or Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, George W Bush, or the ghost of Richard Nixon. Ask the heads of Goldman Sachs, Monsanto, Dow, DuPont. Google, Facebook, Microsoft.
There are “repressive States” in Europe, Asia, and Africa, but that is a foreign phenomenon.
Rebelling against the State? Not here. Here we merge with the government and help it and encourage it. Besides, we’ve recently learned—and this is a revelation—that rebelling is very likely a terrorist act. Well, that settles that.
We’re all in this together. Even if the “we” and the “this” and the “together” seem to require some further clarification, rest assured it will be forthcoming. At the right time.
The government understands time (and also space). It arranges them. Someone has to.
The government is not the State, the government is not the State.

My government used to be a trusty and loyal Golden Retriever. He was strong, well behaved, anxious to please and fiercely loyal to us, his masters. He stood watch out in the backyard and warned us of on-coming danger. We kept him fed and well-nourished, but we hardly knew he was there sometimes, unless our person or property was threatened. He was a GOOD dog.
Now my government is a nine ton federal (feral) hound-from-hell, who we forgot to give proper attention, training and discipline to. While we weren’t looking, he slowly chewed his way through the back door and installed himself firmly on the living room couch — and firmly into our lives and consciousness. Now he’s with us everywhere we go. In the kitchen, in the bathroom, in the garage — in the bedroom. Constantly yapping at us over which TV programs to watch, what we can eat, what medicines to put into our bodies, what kind of cars to drive, what is healthy sexual behavior and what is not.
A little while ago, I noticed that the yapping is starting to sound more like a snarl…

I’m not sure it ever was Greg. Maybe for a moment, a small time, until the coup that killed Kennedy and took over the planet. To look back into history one fines that the institutions of power have always been there, under a different brand name. But still there…the methods change but not the madness.
The Romans had ‘bread and circus’ which catered to a highly corrupted populous, they had breeding programs like we have eHarmony. The illusion factories existed even then, under different times, with different technologies, but they existed. And the propaganda drowns even them.
Jesus, I am convinced, is an illusion created by the Roman state. As they witnessed the fanatics climb upon the cross, they understood fully the nature and power of their creation, and quickly manifested themselves into the Holy Roman Catholic church. Money and power flooded in, and the cost of doing business dropped to virtually nothing. The perfect empire…and it still exists two thousand years latter.
As it has been stated, ‘at one time it was easier to kill a million people than change their minds’. Now it is easier to ‘change a million minds, than kill a million people’.
All of history is written by the victors, and the righteous and the true fand their words were pushed far underground.
We must be thankful to those who suffered the tortures and exterminations, those who kept the words of freedom alive, so we might hear them today…lately I wonder why that matters anymore, as the zombie apocalypse quickly approaches.

Yes, we’ve been under THEIR thumb for decades, if not centuries. I was speaking, of course, in relative terms. I came of age in the Seventies, when smarting-off to a teacher might get you a trip to the Dean of Boys. Now, there’s a good chance a kid will be led away in handcuffs and/or expelled for daring to exhibit any kind of thoughtful, righteous dissent.
Back then, the velvet glove still covered the iron fist, for the most part. Ugliness in the Deep South aside, authoritarian violence at events like Kent State and the ’68 Democratic Convention were still fairly isolated occurrences in the middle class, white bread world of my experience. A strong sense of freedom still existed, that anything that one could dream, was possible — and not just because some pointy-headed grade school teacher from the Church of Self Esteem said it was so. We had every reason to believe it.
Now the proverbial glove is all but removed. A lot of these criminals behind the curtain are getting old and impatient, they want to see the “fruits” of their putrid labor. We are but one contrived catastrophic event away from seeing and feeling the proverbial fist.

Well said…granted their need to see their life achievement bear fruit. These old dragons are impatient. But the fly is already in the ointment Greg, toxic as that ointment may be to us now. Their contrived and eagerly awaited singularity is also fast approaching as well. A misunderstood by-product and relative prediction of this mad dash towards technological supremacy has/will cause this singularity to happen.
At that point everything new and novel will be happening all at the very same moment in time.
Computers obsolete before they are built, technological advance whizzing along at unbearable speed. Medical break throughs pushed aside before they are utilized. Technological blueprints thrown on the waste pile having never manifested into real objects. The impact that tsunami of information, will crush even the most stalwart and disciplined of these New World Order Warriors. And a child with an iPhone will bring down their nations on their heads.
There is no yin without the yang.

There is a rare insight into the state of affairs, especially the roman adventure.
I just wish to add that the Roman scheme of things, which began at the time of descent into chaos, when the Romans were debasing their currency and needed to regain their wealth as well as devise a scheme to hold the empire together without the cost of military campaigns that brought them down. That scheme came under the law of volunteering; “Equity does not assist a volunteer.”
If someone pays your debts (by accommodation) then you are his debtor. The Romans, masters of law, invented Christ to pay for your sins (debt) and to reach heaven you need to submit to Christ through Rome. That act pledged all your property to Rome for taxes. All kings anointed (agents) by Rome pledged the property of the kingdom to Rome who had copyright to King of kings.
The US being the Virginia Company uses the same scheme of pledge as the Romans and the same pledge as the British under bankruptcy. Its all about property, especially yours, using yours to go after theirs. And all volunteer away their rights and property for lack of knowledge of the law. But the bankers know the value of the law knowledge, it controls!
The people will never be free from this control as the attainment of the knowledge to assert one’s freedom is too a high bar for the general population and religion is too an attractive drug for the compensation of one’s worth to make it through life on their own. That is why history repeats – for people fail to take direct responsibility, rather take a king unto themselves who will.

The solution to everything is to basically heal the Collective Civilzation Neurosis, the alienation to the true self, which keeps the big majority of civilized people in slavery, in dominating ego and fear.
99,9 % are affected – and most of them don’t know!
Scientists (sociology) know about a “collective neurosis” in the modern society, but most of them don’t realize its true extent. Thus, the politicians don’t get correct information from the scientists – and nothing really helpful can be done or planned.
This sick civilized society prays to several false “Gods”. One of them is SCIENCE – or the masses’ thinking / illusion of science. Erreonously, many people think, that “science” knows – or has the potential to know – everything about the reality. But in truth, the “mainstream” of science knows only the 2nd half of the reality, the material half, the manifested half.
The 1st half, the spiritual one, the non-manifested half, the level of ORIGIN / causes they ignore.

Those who cannot see that the whole of society is being shaped to fit the model of compliance with other’s wills and resultant extinction of inherent personality, with the hierarchy of compliance passing through the upper reaches of the financial/corporate world to some deviant religious cult, are blind. It’s a plan that goes against divine purpose as expressed in nature, and therefore always subject to unravelling, Even a potential escape card is provided by state-run lotteries to keep the hopelessness of those at the very bottom from exploding in revolt. All bases are covered by the “pretty scheme”–well, at least all the ones the minds of the Planners can comprehend.
