Power Outside The Matrix: My Writer’s Tutorial

One section of my third mega-collection, Power Outside The Matrix, is an eight-and-a-half hour audio presentation, The Writer’s Tutorial. This has been a long time coming. I’ve had many requests for it over the years.

It is a tutorial, in the sense that I give many specific advices to writers and people who want to be writers. But it goes a lot farther than that.

It’s about a core of imagination and power. That “inner place” is the wellspring from which a whole life can be lived. It’s language as energy.

The discovery of hidden energy, the invention of energy, worlds in the making—this is what the writer is involved with.

Many writer’s seminars urge students to “write about what they know.” That’s just one approach. Writing about what you don’t know is another avenue. What you don’t know, for a journalist, means research. For a novelist, poet, playwright, it means invention, it means knowing in a very different sense.

It means imagination. It means the desire to build new worlds.

I can mark great changes in my life by writers I’ve read. Writers give us confidence that our dreams and visions are real, more than real. Writers rescue us from the ordinary.

They even whisper in our ears, “You can do this, too.”

In my tutorial, I move from the large overarching theme of what being a writer is all about, to specific clues about how to write, how to make feelings and ideas operate on the page.

Whether you’re aiming for poetry, fiction, journalism, or simply reports at work, I’ve brought everything I can to the table.

I leave the matter of getting published to the professional magazines. In this tutorial, I speak to people who want more. More of a Voice that can move them and their readers to new heights.

Being a writer is, in part, about being a riverboat gambler—shoving in all your chips on your inner resources.

For a writer, or for anyone who wants to live a creative life, those resources turn out to be endless. Finally, we are talking about a capacity to imagine, a capacity that has no limit.

The overused word “spiritual” really does apply here, because it is through imagination and invention that a person eventually discovers answers to the great questions of life. Those answers are his own, not the second-hand myths broadcast by authority figures.

There is another payoff. Creating worlds of your own gives you intimate knowledge of how those-who-would-be-our-masters try to impose their world on us.

In 1978, Philip K Dick wrote: “…today we live in a society in which spurious realities are manufactured by the media, by governments, by big corporations, by religious groups, political groups…So I ask, in my writing, What is real? Because unceasingly we are bombarded with pseudo-realities manufactured by very sophisticated people using very sophisticated electronic mechanisms…it is an astonishing power: that of creating whole universes, universes of the mind. I ought to know. I do the same thing.”

As a writer, as a person living a creative life, ideas and energies and language and images and visions are your own. What a wonderful thing. What a fantastic enterprise. What an adventure.

Beyond efforts to survive, humans have been plagued by mind control since the dawn of time on planet Earth.

Richard Jenkins, the extraordinary healer with whom I worked in the early 1960s, wrote me notes on this subject:

“In the mind, there are landscapes of struggle, scenarios of defeat. You could call them collective memories, but they’re more like self-propelled inventions. People create them as myths to explain their lives. In these impressionistic scenarios, the ancient Greeks gave birth to their gods, to Fate, to the idea of excessive pride, to the notion of downfall, to a whole host of conclusions about the limits of success…”

Jenkins talked a great deal about liberating his clients from these “thought-forms.”

“All forms of this kind,” he wrote, “are composed of ‘captured energy’. The energy is of a lower nature. It feeds into the end of civilizations. Civilizations are visualized as temporary…as collapsing.”

I found his comments particularly interesting in light of the fact that Richard worked with a number of people attached to the United Nations in New York.

Roughly 30 years later, I worked with the brilliant hypnotherapist, Jack True (many of our interviews are included in my collection, The Matrix Revealed). Jack had also found these scenarios in the subconscious of his patients. He worked to “neutralize” them, as he put it.

Jack wrote: “When people place these scenarios/myths/archetypes in their own minds, they’re particularly vulnerable to secondary kinds of thought control and propaganda, because they’re already committed to struggle ending in defeat. This is their basic nagging glimpse of the destiny of society and the world.”

It is through intense long-term creating, imagining, inventing that the individual begins to catch on to another way of viewing life itself; dynamic, ever-expanding, filled with the electricity of consciousness on the move…

Then, defeat is not a possibility, is never final.

The Matrix Revealed

Can you grasp this, sense this, enter this?

Speaking from my own experience, during 78 years of this incarnation, I’ve vaulted a number of moments when ordinarily, all was lost. I refused to accept what was ordinary, stable, enclosed, grossly limited. I decided to shove in all my chips and roll the dice on the creative force I had glimpsed in others—and assert my own. Time and time again, I emerged from my own impasses. I moved higher and deeper.

Somewhere in every one of us, there is an unquenchable fire of creation. We can deny it for a million years, but it will eventually surface and transform our lives.

The humdrum pulse will stop. The clouds, the sky, the caves underneath the Earth cannot contain the scope of our consciousness which is writing the endless poetry of our existence, larger than any myth, larger any previous hope.

We are far more real than real.

We embody this fact in our eternal imaginations.

CDC police will eventually arrest the unvaccinated as “diseased criminals”

After 30 years as an independent reporter, I understand the machinations of the CDC.

As a result, I’ve been able to read their intentions for the future. I’ve been able to see where they’re heading.

Two parallel ops are going to intersect, unless they are stopped. And if they aren’t stopped, there is going to be BIG trouble.

OP ONE: the CDC’s imminent implementation of its new rules for controlling communicable diseases. I’ve covered these rules extensively. Here I’ll sum them up:

Americans traveling between states can be stopped, detained, and even quarantined, if they seem to have indications of an illness that could impact public health.

If this sounds vague, it is. The CDC has even coined a new absurd category: “precommunicable” illness. It means that with few or no symptoms—but merely the probability of having contacted someone who had or could have had an illness—a traveler in America can be picked up and held against his will.

The CDC asserts it has police powers to do this.

During the quarantine period, the person has no right to refuse medical treatment—which can include (toxic) vaccinations. After release, the person will be tracked electronically, and this surveillance can extend to an ankle bracelet.

OP TWO: The CDC and its state allies are expanding the promotion of mandatory vaccines. The state of California now has such a law (SB277) for all public and private school children. There is a move to extend the mandate to adults.

So…suppose you are spotted and detained as a person who may have a precommunicable disease. One of the first questions you’ll be asked is: “Are you up to date on your vaccinations?”

If not, you’ll get them. Forcibly.

Now suppose the disease you’re suspected of having has a vaccine—which you never got. You’re bad. You’re delinquent. You’re essentially a criminal. “Sir, if you had been vaccinated against the disease, you wouldn’t have the disease now, and you wouldn’t be in a position to infect others with it.”

But why stop there? At some point up the road, the CDC will say:

“Those people who have not gotten the full schedule of vaccinations are AUTOMATICALLY PRECOMMUNICABLE.”

That’s how the two ops will intersect.

That’s where the CDC is heading. That’s where they intend to go:

A person who isn’t fully vaccinated is by definition a threat to “the community,” and he can be arrested.

It’s the perfect storm.

That’s all the CDC will need to know—you’re not fully vaccinated. Therefore, you’ll fit the definition of a “precommunicable” health threat, and you can be held and shot with the full complement of vaccines.

“You see, Mr. Jones, we’ve detained you because we see you haven’t had any vaccinations for a long time. This makes you a danger, because vaccines are the ONLY way to guarantee immunity from diseases. You’re very vulnerable. You will get sick and spread that sickness to others. You’re precommunicable. You’re a spreader. We’re going to cut that off at the pass. In the next two days, we’re going to give you the basic ten vaccinations..”

The CDC is ALREADY asserting that any unvaccinated human is a danger to those around him. All that remains is to put bigger legal and police teeth into the assertion.

The mask and the cover story is: “We only want to detain people who could be spreading a highly dangerous disease like Ebola. We only want to stop the spread of pandemics.” That’s a lie.

The real op is eventual forced vaccination of everyone, carried out under police powers.

Universal forced vaccination IS the epidemic.

And the single antidote is freedom.

The freedom to refuse medication or vaccination of any kind.

That freedom is inherent.

But it must be taken.

The medical vampires’ vaccine vision is unnatural and perverse

It turns out that unvaccinated children aren’t little time bombs walking around ready to blow and spread devastating disease in their wake.

That’s a myth. It’s told by the medical cartel, for their own obvious reasons.

And it turns out that children raised in a healthy way are strong, and have strong immune systems.

This was once viscerally known and understood and accepted as a truism.

Those who insist on 50 or 60 shots of germs and toxic chemicals for every child, like it or not, are participating in an ongoing criminal enterprise.

Their vision is unnatural and perverse.

It turns out that stimulating the production of antibodies—which is the purpose of vaccines—is not the be-all and end-all of existence. It isn’t the road to health. It isn’t an automatic lease on life.

Every aspect of a child’s life contributes to, or detracts from, his immune-system health and strength. This is traditional knowledge. This basic tree of knowledge has been shaken and hacked at by decades of remorseless propaganda from official medical/government/corporate mob bosses.

The vaccine establishment has become a protection racket. Take your shots or pay the social and political consequences.

Natural health is a reality. It isn’t a stunt.

When smallpox ravaged England, it wasn’t the lone work of a virus. It was sewage in the city streets, horrendous overcrowding, lack of basic nutrition, grinding poverty. It was also the smallpox vaccine:

“Smallpox, like typhus, has been dying out (in England) since 1780. Vaccination in this country has largely fallen into disuse since people began to realize how its value was discredited by the great smallpox epidemic of 1871-2 (which occurred after extensive vaccination).” (W. Scott Webb, A Century of Vaccination, Swan Sonnenschein, 1898.)

And then there is this: “The combined death rate from scarlet fever, diphtheria, whooping cough and measles among children up to fifteen shows that nearly 90 percent of the total decline in mortality between 1860 and 1965 had occurred before the introduction of antibiotics and widespread immunization. In part, this recession may be attributed to improved housing and to a decrease in the virulence of micro-organisms, but by far the most important factor was a higher host-resistance due to better nutrition.” Ivan Illich, Medical Nemesis, Bantam Books, 1977

Improve environmental conditions and the standard of living, and you pave the way for natural health. It’s not a mystery. It never was.

—The basic purpose of promoting these dud “epidemics” that come down the pipeline every few years is: to convince the population that they can’t live in a state of natural health; there is no such thing as natural health; everyone must live their lives under the constant supervision of doctors.

This is becoming the central myth of our times.

It is becoming the primary form of surrender.

Natural health is a silver bullet to medical vampires.

Exit From the Matrix

How many studies can you find that investigate the factors of health in children who do quite well without overriding medical attention? How many studies in peer reviewed journals examine large groups of healthy unvaccinated children? None.

Health is basically a non-medical condition.

The primary medical psyop is the effort to erase that understanding.

Every healthy unvaccinated child is a refutation of the medical cartel.

If your business is sickness, and you’re unscrupulous, it stands to reason you’ll try to find more and more sickness, even, and especially, where it doesn’t exist.

You’ll never study health, because it would put you out of business.

A call from the wilderness

(NOVEMBER 10, 2010) Millions of advocates of health freedom see that no major political candidate, with one or two exceptions, voices their concerns or stands up for their right to improve their health by any and all self-chosen methods.

To understand the landscape in which this deafening silence continues, we need to realize that the one industry which could and should make a difference—the nutritional supplement sector—is dominated by ostriches.

Once a powerful voice for health freedom, the industry has stepped back into the shadows. It nurtures the illusion that it is safe from government intervention. It even supposes it has sufficient allies within the government to stave off attacks by the FDA.

Since 1993, I have been calling for the creation of a powerful “PR wing” funded by nutritional companies. This group would dedicate itself to obtaining ongoing media coverage, showing that nutrition scores many victories in preserving and expanding health, that nutrition is a brilliant success.

At first glance, this may not seem very important. But, in fact, it is THE vital way to turn public, media, and political opinion to the side of nutrition.

The FDA and other government bodies see no reason to curtail their attacks on nutritional supplements if the media aren’t even covering the issue.

Every PR campaign works toward a tipping point, where the very idea of opposing its goals is politically suicidal.

If you don’t understand that, you know nothing about PR.

And what is a campaign? Is it a one-time promotion? Is it a vaguely flailing effort to marshal support? Is it a token outreach? For amateurs, perhaps. For dreamers.

But the reality is far different. A campaign is a well-funded, sustained, and highly organized operation, aimed at gradually creating a shift in widespread perception.

In this case, the campaign TELLS THE TRUTH. That is its weapon. That is its intrinsic strength.

NUTRITION WORKS.

Media outlets, editors, reporters are always looking for interesting stories. The brutal fact of life is, they need copy to fill space and time. They must have it.

What about a boy in Arkansas who was ill for three years, unable to learn or play with his friends, who was brought back from the brink by supplements?

Is that a story?

You bet it is.

What about a husband who had to quit his job and go on the dole, because he no longer had the strength to put in eight hours in a factory? And then he regained his strength with nutrients. Is that a story? It sure is.

Does a fledgling PR campaign start from the top of the media chain? Does a story suddenly appear on the front page of The New York Times? In a fantasy world, perhaps.

No, you build up your book of clippings. You gradually move up the ladder.

You establish a foothold. You lay a firm foundation.

You find experts who will give you favorable and truthful quotes.

You shove in your chips for the long haul, and you don’t back out because you wish paradise would come tomorrow.

On the other side of this PR campaign, you tell the truth about your target, your opponent, your nemesis, your threat. The FDA.

You build up an accurate dossier documenting the widespread damage this agency had done over the years. And it’s there, believe me. For the past 20 years, I’ve been finding it and reporting it.

FDA-certified drugs have been killing American citizens at the rate of 100,000 a year. That’s a good place to start. (Starfield, JAMA, July 26, 2000; “Is US health really the best in the world?”)

You put your opponent, your threat back on its heels. You force it to play defense. Instead of trying to limit people’s access to supplements, the agency is busy warding off truthful, pointed attacks.

You obtain the right, correct, and honest coverage of the FDA in the press. On an ongoing basis.

This is the double-pronged PR campaign. There is much more to say about it, but you get the idea.

You want politicians to aggressively support health freedom? You have to show them they would have public opinion on their side. And how do you do that? You obtain TRUTHFUL media coverage.

Coverage isn’t accomplished by waving a magical wand. It’s done through PR.

Over the years, since I ran, in 1994, for a Congressional seat in Los Angeles on the issue of health freedom, I’ve seen the most haphazard, amateurish, wasteful, silly, and delusional PR launched out there, in the stratosphere, on behalf of health freedom. Drunken men with no tools would have a better chance of building a mansion than this kind of demented PR would have in congealing public opinion.

This must change. The nutritional industry must come into the 20th, and then the 21st century.

In case you hadn’t noticed, the basic ideal of individual freedom is under assault from many quarters. Health freedom will not escape this net.

Something EFFECTIVE needs to be done.

Jonathan explains the situation in detail.

Naysayers out there will give you a litany of reasons why the media will never cover health freedom or the massive success of nutritional supplements. “Media ad space is dominated by drug companies.” “Media are controlled by the government.” “Medical power is too great.”

I’ve heard all the excuses. Mostly, they are offered by people who refuse to believe any good change can happen in any sphere. But the fundamental flaw in their arguments lies in a complete misunderstanding about the way PR works.

Here is the secret. Most PR DOES work. If the people behind it are smart, if they have money, if they put in the time and the effort, if they aren’t scared away by a few failures, they will come out on top.

Every PR campaign knocks its head on the ceiling many times. “We can’t break through!” “They won’t listen to us!”

You complain, and then you roll up your sleeves and keep going. Because the goal is worth it. Because you truly want the desired end result. And because PR works.

The Matrix Revealed

When I began writing as a reporter almost 30 years ago, I knew nothing about the business. I quickly learned that media need copy. That was the basic reality. Media need stories. They will respond.

PR works the same way. You dig in for the long haul, and you gain success.

Of course, the other advantage of an excellent PR campaign is, no one person has to stick his neck out and take the heat. Instead a whole industry is involved. “You want a battle? Then come after all of us.”

Then can you imagine how the millions of people who buy those supplements would appear in full view, ready to stake their claim for freedom?

In the early 1990s, this is exactly what happened. A few nutritional executives bankrolled a massive outreach program, enlisting American citizens, who wrote millions of letters to Congress demanding a new law protecting supplements.

Congressional sponsors were lined up. They felt confident because the outcry from citizens was huge. The law was passed. It didn’t offer us the guarantees we really needed, but it was better than nothing.

Now we need more. Better laws, and also a PR campaign that doesn’t fold up its tent just because the Congress moved in a somewhat positive direction.

This time, we may need all those citizens to write to supplement companies demanding their action. I have sketched out that action in this article.

Six years ago, on the eve of the midterm elections in Obama’s first term in office — which happened to be seven months after Obama had signed Obamacare into law — and, with another 3-years to go before Obamacare went into effect, I posted this article.

(OCTOBER 21, 2010) As this year’s election draws close, it’s business as usual, as far as Health Freedom is concerned. This issue isn’t just in the shadows. It’s in the closet behind the shadows, locked in tight.

The avalanche of pharmaceutical ads on TV drones on. The attacks on natural health set off firecrackers here and there: “Patients shouldn’t be allowed to choose alternative remedies, because that will take them away from medicines that really help.”

“We, the medical elites, know what’s best for you, and we’ll shove it down your throats.”

But wait. This is supposed to be the Year of the Conservative. Conservatives want less government intrusion, more individual freedom. Why isn’t Health Freedom front and center?

I have four answers to that question. One, the pharmaceutical lobby and money machine are bankrolling overwhelming numbers of candidates. Two, the millions of people who participated in the Health Freedom movement of the early 1990s have gone back into their cocoons, and the funding of that movement, which came from nutritional companies, has dried up. Three, many leaders of the old Health Freedom campaign actually believe Barack Obama is a forward-thinking guy who would never permit a real crackdown on the nutritional industry. And four, conservative candidates running for office see no reason to put Health Freedom up high on their agendas, because they’ve never had to before—the pressure to do so is minimal. Why rock the boat?

In case you’ve forgotten, Health Freedom means: every person has the right to choose how to take care of their own body and health. The government has no business interfering. The right extends to refusal to accept conventional medical treatments. It’s a simple thing, really.

And perhaps reading this, you imagine there is no urgent need to press home this issue at this time.

Well, Health Freedom is always a major issue. The federal government, in the person of the FDA, an agency that is actually a bought and paid for subsidiary of the drug companies, is always seeking new ways to apply a chokehold on nutritional companies and natural health practitioners.

In a radio interview I did with Jonathan Emord, the most successful American lawyer in cases launched against the FDA, Emord told me he has sufficient reason to believe the FDA never intends to abide by the court decisions rendered against them. That’s right. In other words, the FDA is a rogue agency.

In another interview, this one with Dr. Barbara Starfield, of the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, Starfield confirmed that, in the wake of her 2000 finding that FDA-approved drugs have been killing Americans at the rate of 106,000 people a year, no federal agency has approached her to consult on ways of reducing this horrendous outcome. Not in the past ten years. Her virtually unchallenged report, published in the July 26, 2000, issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association, has stirred no government response.

How much willful political ignorance and avoidance does it take to walk away from A MILLION DEAD AMERICANS over the last ten years?

In reading a number of conservative political blogs, I’ve seen no mention of the Health Freedom issue or the effects of Big Pharma on Americans. Why is that? Is it because drug companies are blithely assumed to be bastions of free enterprise and, therefore, sacrosanct? That’s my suspicion, because I do encounter statements that ObamaCare is trashing the greatest medical system in the world. Obamacare is a disaster in all ways, but “greatest medical system” is a massive lie.

The Matrix Revealed

Face it. The overwhelming number of Americans are still, after all these years, hooked on drugs. Medical drugs. They live to swallow pills. They live to receive diagnoses from doctors. Therefore, the notion that we all have the right to choose whether to take a medical drug or an herb is beyond their ability to think and reason. They’re in the hole deep, and they don’t even know they’re addicted.

Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, take notice. You’re missing the boat here. You’re way out in left field. You’re a victim of doctor-induced hypnosis, and it’s time you woke up and put this issue on the table. You’ll be surprised at the response, once you open the gates. Millions of people will come out and respond. And that’s called RATINGS.

Bottom line: even if you worship at the altar of modern medicine, in all cases, all the time, the right to choose any form of healing therapy is basic to the intent of the Constitution, and that right is always in jeopardy as the Parental State decides what’s best for you, decides what “science” is good science, decides how stupid you are and how much help you need to see the light.

My work: the individual returns to his creative fire

Through my articles, my Matrix collections, and my personal consulting services, I have one goal: bringing individuals back to their very capable minds, back to their own formidable power, their own imagination, their own creative force, their own deep desires and purposes.

When I began NoMoreFakeNews.com 15 years ago, I wasn’t sure how many people could handle this message. But I decided to find out. I’ve been pleasantly surprised, to say the very least.

If there is a tradition I have been adding to, all these years, it is early Tibet—before the priest class moved in and took over. The magicians and their students were engaged in an enterprise of extraordinary dimensions.

My research revealed that this tradition was initiated, some 1400 years ago, by teachers from India, who came to Tibet after being expelled from universities for their radical views.

These teachers rejected the content and cosmology of all spiritual systems.

They essentially stated that such metaphysical “pictures” of existence were creative inventions—

And that the true subject for study, contemplation, enlightenment, and, above all, exercise was the individual creative impulse itself—

Creative power, imagination, and invention, at the level of the individual.

The Tibetan exercises were fashioned to expand individual creative power without limit.
