DIRTY SECRET BEHIND RAWESOME RAID

DIRTY SECRET BEHIND RAWESOME RAID

AUGUST 7, 2011.

I won’t keep you in suspense.

Here it is: THE FDA WAS ONE OF THE AGENCIES THAT RAIDED RAWESOME.

Why is that dirty? Because while FDA is clucking about raw milk, it is continuing to hide THE LARGEST CRIME IN AMERICAN HISTORY.

THE FDA, YOU SEE, HAS APPROVED DRUGS, AS SAFE AND EFFECTIVE, THAT KILL 106,000 PEOPLE A YEAR.

Yes, you heard that right.

The citation on this is: Barbara Starfield, Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, Journal of the American Medical Association, July 26, 2000, “Is US health really the best in the world?”

I have interviewed Dr. Starfield, and she has confirmed that since her paper was published, the FDA has made no contact with her to enlist her help in remedying the situation (the ongoing crime). There has been no remedy.

(See Starfield, JAMA, July 26, 2000, “Is US health really the best in the world?”, and, click here to read my interview with Dr Starfield.)

Add it up. Over each decade, the medicines the FDA certifies as safe kill a million Americans. A MILLION. PER DECADE. LIKE CLOCKWORK.

The FDA is the gatekeeper. It is the single government agency responsible for protecting the public from dangerous pharmaceuticals.

And they are worked up about raw milk.

In 1994, while I was running for a seat in the US Congress, I made many statements urging the nutritional industry and allied natural health interests to form and fund a true PR wing that would attack the FDA for its unconscionable crimes, that would get accurate stories about this in the press, come hell or high water.

I was met with apathy, excuses, and fear. It was disgusting.

WITH SO MANY LIVES LOST AND SO MANY MORE HANGING IN THE BALANCE, you don’t play this game by waiting. You play OFFENSE. You play to win. With the truth.

The FDA must be forced back against the wall, and feel the great need to admit its massive culpability and surrender to the criminal consequences.

That’s what I said in 1994, and that’s what I say now.

Let’s get real. If you knew that a federal agency was directly responsible for a million deaths per decade, wouldn’t you feel that agency should be disbanded, from the ground up, and rebuilt along moral lines, while its leaders and so-called executives are dealt severe and crushing criminal penalties?

Wouldn’t you?

Is anyone out there?

Is there a potato head at the LA Times with enough active brain cells and enough guts to take this on, while the FDA is raiding raw milk in your city?

THE PHILOSOPHY OF IMAGINATION

THE FREE INDIVIDUAL

THE PHILOSOPHY OF IMAGINATION

AUGUST 7, 2011. Long-time readers of mine know I have, many times, asked and answered the question: WHAT IS FREEDOM FOR?

Answer: the widest possible use, with great intensity and power, of endless IMAGINATION.

Freedom is the platform that allows imagination to flourish.

To establish the framework for the triumph of imagination, in a world where repetition and ironclad system are worshiped like gods, we have to re-explore FREEDOM.

That is what this essay does.

The free, powerful, intensely creative, and moral individual is the ideal that flows from the meaning of the American Republic.

When that ideal is abandoned, what replaces it is the individual who has the LICENSE to do anything—to diminish, manipulate, and control the freedom of another.

The difference between freedom and license is the difference between living blood in the veins, versus a synthetic plastic approximation. The android thus created always yearns for the real thing, and in its absence, he drives himself into a state of anarchic frustration, violence, and the desire to enact revenge.

The “man of license,” not freedom, forms a character that is at once servile and self-assertive, meek and bloated, guilt-ridden and criminally aggressive.

And what flows from that? The entirely artificial, enterprising, cheating, skulking, compromising, self-flagellating, miserable, brutal, aggrandizing, masochistic citizen—often found in, among many other places, positions of leadership. In government, business, law, academia.

Do you need a better formula for creating criminals?

A society packed with such persons is going to carry out the vision of a self-sufficient nation and individual at about the same rate of success as a colony of primates is going to give birth to Thomas Paine.

From “the man of license” came a parade of crimes:

The rise of the robber barons, the slave-wage conditions in factories; the continuation of black slavery; Indian conquests; the monopolistic practices that led to secret control over entire industries; the capture of the US financial system; the yellow/tabloid American press; criminal corporate adventurism in foreign lands; the support of foreign dictatorships; so-called nation-building; false-flag operations aimed at casting blame on the wrong parties; endless wars; covert intelligence operations targeting both foreign opponents and American citizens; support of death squads to forward US corporate goals abroad; the surrender of our borders; the rise of massive entitlements; the enshrinement of victimhood; rigged elections; the bankrupting of the nation; the manipulation of markets; engineered recessions and depressions; misplaced tolerance shown toward war-making religious fundamentalisms; the descent into state corporatism and socialism; shadow governments…

These and other acts all stem from one basic cause: the flight from the notion and reality of the free, powerful, and intensely creative individual. And the substitution of the man of license.

The doors were opened to manipulation on every level. The crimes and the conspiracies to commit crimes have not ended and will never end, so long as the truly free individual is a dead issue in the eyes of walking dead men.

Few historians have grasped the import of George Washington’s final warning, to the American people, to avoid entangling foreign alliances. The ignorance on this point is staggering.

It is clear that America could have found a way to remove itself from foreign affairs to such a degree that it could have constructed, at home, a society the likes of which has never been seen on the face of the Earth:

A moral and ethical society, devoted to the inculcation of as many free and powerful individuals as possible, none of whom would be tempted to cheat, lie, and steal his way “to the top.” Which is to say, a SELF-SUFFICIENT country, in all conceivable ways. Raw materials, manufacturing, industry, agriculture, technology.

And in this society, there would have been swift and strong punishment for any person, company, or corporation that decided to circumvent the law and commit criminal acts by hindering or fraudulently repressing any individual.

A free and powerful and creative individual, contrary to popular myths, has an ethical stature which legislates against perverse actions undertaken at the expense of others.

Let me present a theoretical, fictional example of what George Washington called foreign entanglement—except I’ll cast it in the form of US corporate action. We have a nation, X. In X, for a thousand years, land ownership has been a matter of tribal squabbles and bloody conflicts, and periodic land takeovers by strong-armed government administrations, many of which administrations have fallen as a result of revolutions. We also have a few powerful families who have owned the bulk of the nation’s arable land for several centuries and employ private armies and death squads to maintain control of the land and the virtual slaves who work it. Into this situation steps US corporation Y. It is seeking to purchase and lease land for the production of grain. It has to deal with the present dictator, who is more than happy to make an arrangement, for the right price (bribe). He will also help defend these lands with his army and repel invaders by killing them.

A fine beginning. Corporation Y also pays off several tribal leaders to stay away from these leased lands. The tribal leaders will, of course, need better weapons. These are forthcoming. The tribes will kill each other with them, on the side. Then the corporation hires a security group which supplies mercenaries. Then the dictator, who is basically a bloodthirsty lunatic, decides he wants bigger bribe money, and a new highway built from the central airport right to his palace. Eventually, corporation Y, which is receiving intelligence from a local CIA bureau, decides the dictator is too large a headache, so discussions begin about a military coup. However, the first choice of a new leader has close ties to a group that wants to nationalize oil fields. In this takeover, new leader would be supported by several terrorist regimes who have already paid him large sums of money…

FOREIGN ENTANGLEMENTS

There was no way to avoid these realities once corporation Y entered the scene, if they wanted to make a handsome profit on their investment. They had come into a society that was brutal and criminal on many levels.

Are we really to believe that Washington, Jefferson, Paine, and Madison would have sanctioned and applauded this kind of dealing as “the expression of free enterprise?”

What is the alternative?

Through the propaganda mills, we are fed a constant stream of persuasion masked as fact, which assures us that, without each other, globally, we will all go down. The whole world. We are one planet with one need—each other. The idea that one people in one country could achieve an overall self-sufficiency is considered dangerous lunacy.

Instead, we must somehow merge with peoples and nations who have a long history of oppression, violence, murder, and a grossly limited or absent concept of individual freedom.

Behind this propaganda operation sits the aim of melting us down into one mass of humanity. No one stands out. We all are reduced down to lowest common denominators. No one has power. No one is truly free, because freedom is ALWAYS taken at the expense of someone else. Freedom means criminality.

This is the myth.

Against all this, let me juxtapose another fictional illustration, an entry written in a journal by an educated American citizen in the year 1880—living in a nation that had rejected ANY business or government dealing with any foreign country, that had remained, yes, completely isolated, and had dedicated itself to the free, powerful, moral, and intensely creative individual, as the ideal of the Republic. In this alternative America, the “man of license” had been squashed and sidelined:

It was apparent to us, from the beginning of the Republic, that, in order to carry out the mandate of freedom, difficult choices would have to be made.

Tom Paine eventually carried the banner of George Washington by convincing us that engaging in foreign trade, any foreign trade, would be a mistake that would compound into further, more serious errors. Not through government, but through business, we would inevitably be drawn back into the circle of corruption and old enmities among groups and nations. How could we walk into a decadent swamp without incurring infection?

The debates on this point were heated. In the end, Paine and Madison gave us a picture of an alternative: We would turn inward and utilize our burgeoning productive capacity to do business within our own borders, thus enriching the lives of our own citizens. It would be a step, Paine said, toward the establishment of the first wholly self-sufficient nation in human history—and this example would shine brightly for the rest of the world.

An equally difficult problem was the so-called Indian Proposition, because it involved negotiating and signing land and border treaties with a number of tribes. The expansion westward had provoked armed conflicts with several of these tribes. In the aftermath, a group of us was able to influence Congress to declare a cessation of warfare, on the notion that no ethical people should countenance bloodshed when diplomacy might carry the day. In the end, diplomacy did, and I firmly believe we are the better for it. Does the new free man on this continent wish to carry on the warring tradition of his European ancestors? Is that what we stand for?

The abolition of slavery in 1807, again led by Paine, who had spoken out against it years earlier, during the Constitutional debates, provoked a radical alteration in the economy of the South. Many cotton plantations were converted into farms, fruit orchards, and cattle ranches, and the South, accepting workers from the North as long-term leaseholders and part-owners of their own acreage, became the Food Basket of the nation, wealthy beyond all expectation.

Now, we have a new enterprise, and it may bring us all into an unimaginable future. Following experiments conducted by several companies off the Northeast Coast, it has been announced that the flow of powerful currents in ocean narrows can be harnessed to produce immense quantities of electricity, and there is the prospect that this electricity can be transmitted considerable distances over land. Nearly a hundred promising locations on the East Coast and along our Southern shores are candidates for the innovation. There is the vision of thus developing enough energy for the entire Republic.

I recall some words written by Mr. Paine shortly before his death: ‘There will come a day when we Americans, through our ingenuity, make scientific discoveries that stagger the soul and delight the mind. Our first tendency will be to profit from these inventions by peddling them abroad, in violation of our promise to resist foreign trade of any kind. Instead, this is what I suggest, and I believe it will make a point. Offer the theoretical innovations, the blueprints, in pure unrealized form, to the rest of the world, as our gift, and let them make of it what they will. My calculation is they will further their intentions to benefit the few at the expense of the many, because that is their way, the old way. Let them. To withhold our advances and try to protect them against all outside discovery will only raise the enmity of others toward us, and it will tempt some of us to deliver this knowledge in secrecy—a thing to be avoided at all cost.’

Mr. Paine concluded: ‘We are a nation of builders and creators, and we have inherited this ability from our own joy in discovering what true freedom is, and enshrining it in the highest ramparts of our imaginations. We are close on the time when the entire territory of these United States will be blooming with abundance of every type. The greatness of this present campaign, I note, has come with never a sacrifice of the individual to the mob. In fact, it was and is individual genius that has sustained us all along, and will continue to reflect our devotion to that very principle, against which we may judge the propriety, reason, and common sense of any action. Our nation is alive at the very core, and may it always remain so.’

In certain respects, Mr. Paine’s prediction was correct. As we have made our brilliant scientific inventions available to foreign nations, in blueprint form, those nations have utilized them to the ends tyrannies always do. But gradually, there has arisen, abroad, a notion that America needs to be understood at a more profound level. It is not so much that the fruits from our tree of liberty should be plucked at random; instead, these foreign peoples are learning that they must undergo a revolution of mind. They must dedicate themselves to the free individual, just as we did. They must engage in a new philosophy, whereby Free, Powerful, Moral, Creative, Individual are all the joining fires of their own liberty. They are heartened. They realize this philosophy is more than mere dreaming and useless speculation, because for the first time in human history, a nation has brought these ideas to life and sustained them, on its own soil. Our isolation was never bound in hatred of the human being, but only constituted an aversion to the age-old practices that brought pain, suffering, and destruction, as men considered they had License to commit any crimes and call those crimes just and proper. This is what we built walls against. And now we are the example, the living proof of a different way.

We are strong. Our defenses against invasion and subterfuge are unshakable. (We entertain no illusions that our very example to the rest of the world is alone sufficient to protect us.) We go about our lives and our work, knowing how great our freedom is, and we look forward to the day when other peoples and nations will show us that they, too, have crossed their own chasms of despair. On that day, there will be no need for treaties or alliances. Firm friendship will suffice.

To the rest of the world we say: This is who we are. This is what we have done. Our hopes go out to you. There is no sacrifice we can make to bring you into a new state of mind. That is your own prospect. Your attainments must be your own. There is no other path, because freedom, by its very nature, cannot be a gift. Build your own compass and navigate by it. If we are your North Star, our innate happiness is thereby increased…”

And now, back to the reality of 2011…

As society and government and media produce more turmoil and junk information, it’s easier to forget there are first principles. Well, most of the time, people can manage to forget first principles anyway. Who needs them? They just get in the way of a relatively smooth life, in which authentic thought plays a minor role.

One could say the prevailing philosophy is not to have a philosophy. However, as it turns out, this takes more effort than one might suppose. There is so much to forget, so much to ignore, so much to lay aside in a remote space in the cellar.

With the onset of a pseudo-philosophy called Pragmatism, designed for “the common man,” pundits declared they had found the key to America’s success. Its citizens had unburdened themselves of all the unnecessary mental clap-trap that legislated against pure action. Americans were stripped-down goal seekers.

Of course, emptying the mind meant the founding principles of the republic went begging. This was unfortunate collateral damage—but why worry about freedom when you were already acting on it, when you were already in the heat of the battle to bring the good life to fruition?

A specious argument—and we can see the results of it all around us.

So let us return to principle…

The free individual is moral in the sense that he chooses—as seen through his own eyes—the highest work possible. Therefore, he is not competing for a prize others seek. He isn’t scrabbling for a fake pearl. He isn’t contemplating crimes that will help him arrive at a destination before others can.

And this notion of “the highest work possible” doesn’t involve leaving one’s desire behind, in order to become the servant of a cause. One doesn’t suddenly develop an egoless and empty personality in order to “connect” with a goal that floats in a heavenly sector.

The psychology of the free individual is really no psychology at all. It doesn’t hang on levers of past events. It doesn’t depend on clandestine “negative motives.”

The free individual isn’t shaped. He shapes.

He doesn’t seek compromise. He doesn’t begin with the possibility of public acceptance and rationalize his actions back from that hoped-for outcome.

Meanwhile, the mob, the herd operates on debt, obligation, guilt, and the pretense of admiration. These are its currencies.

The mob, while it seeks some reflection of its unformed desire, struggles to reach a group consensus that will construct a social order based on need—and that need will be supplied, through coercion if necessary, by those who already have More.

This need, and the proposition that the mob deserves its satisfaction, creates a worldwide industry.

Among the industry’s most passionate and venal supporters are those who, a priori, are quite certain that the human being is a tainted vile creature. Such supporters, of course, are sensing their own reflections.

The great psychological factor in any life is THE DESERTION OF INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM. Afterwards, the individual creates shadows and monsters and fears around that crossroad. To vaporize them, he needs to choose his own freedom again. That’s the long and short of it.

Freedom is the space and the setting, from which the individual can generate the thought and the energy- pulse of a great self-chosen objective.

In that place, there is no crowding or oppressive necessity. There is choice. There is desire. There is thought.

This was the starting point of the American Revolution. It is still the starting point.

It doesn’t require consensus. It doesn’t require legislation or any other form of permission.

Being absorbed in a greater whole” isn’t an ambition or philosophical prospect for the free individual. He sees that fixation as an abject surrender of self.

The Collective, whether envisioned as a down-to-earth or mystical group, promises a release from self. This grand solution to problems is a ruse designed to keep humans in a herd. After all, how are you going to control and eventually enslave people if you promote the notion that each individual has freedom and free choice? The abnegation of self is a workable tactic, as along as it is dressed up with false idols and perverted ideals.

The release from self is a fabrication. At bottom, it is choosing another role in the play, the drama. It is a character, called “non-self.” It can be fleshed out and outfitted in a number of ways.

Traditionally, non-self envisions apocalyptic events that will change everything and bring ultimate rewards and/or punishments. Non-self is wedded to “higher mystical forces” because, since self has been rejected, there has to be a different causative principle.

Self is fundamentally creative, dynamic, forward-looking, energetic, powerful, engaged. The Collective looks for those qualities in the government as its source of survival. In turn, the government takes whatever it can from the free individual, to supply the needs of the Collective.

This arrangement is a diminishing vortex that, in time, approaches zero output, like an engine running out of fuel.

But the free individual goes on.

And in doing so, he employs greater and wider imagination to surpass his former view of existence…

THE RAWESOME DEFENSE STRATEGY

FOR THE DEFENSE

THE RAWESOME RAID

by Jon Rappoport

August 7, 2011

(To join our email list, click here.)

In prosecuting the Rawesome defendants–if the case goes to trial–the feds may bring in their “science.”

They would focus on two points of attack. One, raw unpasteurized milk is inherently unsafe. And two, Rawesome and/or its suppliers were running an unclean operation that, even by conventional standards, broke safety laws.

Rawesome hopefully can stand on its record vis-a-vis the second charge.

Point one, the “inherent danger of raw milk,” will be adjudicated without permitting the defense team to introduce evidence showing pasteurized milk is unhealthy. Nor will the defense be allowed to cite instances where pasteurized milk was actually contaminated.

The Rawesome defense team presumably understands this. They would be very lucky if the judge gave them the green light to examine pasteurized milk in any way.

There are laws in California making it legal to sell raw milk. So on the face of it, an argument that raw milk is always dangerous wouldn’t seem to fly. But if this case is prosecuted on a federal level, all bets are off. For example, even though medical marijuana is legal in California, the feds insist it isn’t legal anywhere in the US. So a federal case against Rawesome could take on 10th Amendment implications, where the defense team is arguing for state jurisdiction, but the feds are insisting their own supremacy trumps that. Feds win.

Mike Adams, at naturalnews.com, has received information that Rawesome defendants could be prosecuted for a wide range of “environmental crimes.” Mike states this is not certain. He’s keeping an eye on the situation.

What would these environmental crimes be? They would fall under the general category of endangering health. For example, by “spreading contagious germs” in the population, through the sale of milk that has not been licensed as safe by federal standards.

Sometimes—and I have seen this happen in an LA courtroom, in a federal trial where the issue was the sale of nutritional supplements—the whole procedure is a slam-dunk for the feds, because the ONLY issue allowed in evidence or debate is: did the defendant violate a federal law or regulation? If the answer is yes, the trial is over.

The defense team needs to figure out whether things will go this way. If so, they’ll have to find some very bright strategy before the judge opens the case.

One of the best defense tactics is public pressure, because sometimes the feds will back down in the face of it and settle the matter without a trial, on a lesser and minor charge, to save face and avoid blowing up the story beyond their ability to control it.

None of what I’ve detailed so far is fair, just, or rational. Those issues went into the wind the morning of August 3, when agents of the FDA, the US Dept. Of Agriculture, the CDC, and LA County sheriffs entered Rawesome and took the place apart.

The presence of the CDC and the Dept. of Agriculture indicates, of course, that there will be extensive lab studies done on the milk samples confiscated. And with lab tests, there is always the possibility of fraud or pseudo-science.

[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubbmbx390yA&w=470&h=297]
(At 1m33s into the video, a witness reports: “They’re leaving product out in the sun…. Our food is [now] technically contaminated by heat damage…. [Coolers have been left open by the agents since 7:15am. It is now 12:42pm]” (emphasis added)

(Another witness at 2m49s in the video, addressing what appear to be plain clothes FDA and USDA federal agents: “You know that food has been in the sun (*). You can’t test that food; it’s been in the sun. It’s ruined.” [(*) Note: The food became exposed to the sun for long periods due to the actions of the federal agents]. Continuing, another witness… “Yea, did you guys leave [(our) previously refrigerated food] [out] in the sun so that when you test it, it will test [as being] ‘bad'”?)

Fraud means the labs will report serious contamination where none existed. Pseudo-science means the tests used to determine whether there was contamination are generically deceiving—resulting in a conclusion of contamination based on irrelevant factors.

For example, the PCR test can be used to detect the presence of microbes, based on amplifying, to an extraordinary degree, tiny fragments of what may or may not be germs at all—blowing them up and then (incorrectly) claiming them as evidence of massive presence of infectious substance.

This was employed in the recent Swine Flu fraud, where such minute amounts of viral material (if it was viral at all) were grossly magnified and then pronounced as the cause of virulent illness. In fact, the original bits of material analyzed were insufficient to initiate any illness whatsoever.

RAW MILK CAUSES DISEASE

RAW MILK SPREADS GERMS IN THE POPULATION

RAW MILK UNSAFE

These and other similar tag lines or headlines are what the defense should be ready for. (For example, see FDA spokewoman Siobhan DeLancey‘s statement regarding the safety of raw milk made to New York Times reporter Ian Lovett (published by the New York Times on 8/4/2011, “Raw Food Co-op Is Raided in California”))

They would do well to find California scientists who can explain, at trial, why there is a law in this state allowing sale of raw milk in the first place. In a jury trial, the jury can at least watch state experts pitted against federal experts.

It wouldn’t surprise me to see the feds, if the trial is delayed, begin to reassess its presumption of overwhelming victory, particularly if the defense team, through the press and public outcry, begins to make its case. Although federal prosecutors have good track records in courtrooms, they sometimes bulldoze cases beyond the boundaries of their evidence, because the pressure that forced them to bring the cases in the first place flowed from political interests above them. (See the Barry Bonds trial, as well as the strange ending of the Roger Clemens case.)

So far, one charge has been brought against James Stewart, the founder of Rawesome: processing and selling unlicensed raw milk. Stewart pled not guilty. If the feds want to make a full-blown example of Stewart, they will bring other charges as their lab tests come in.

But that first charge speaks to the strategy I mentioned above. “You violated a provision requiring licenses? Guilty.”

Now, unless we are dealt surprises, such as investigations of the financial records of Rawesome turning up irregularities, or any misrepresentation by Rawesome to its members, what I’ve described here pretty much covers the waterfront.

One can argue all day long about whether raw milk is safe, but the fact is Rawesome is a private club, and its members agree to buy the milk. If the feds decide to skirt that issue, chances are the judge will deny Rawesome the opportunity to argue that private clubs and their agreements take precedence over regulations governing businesses.

As I’ve said, the defense has to anticipate a quick and nasty verdict, based solely on a literal reading of regulations and laws and an accusation that Rawesome disobeyed them.

If you can lure him out of retirement in Wyoming, your man for a trial or for gaining press and public attention, is attorney extraordinaire, Gerry Spence. He’s an ultimate game changer.

ONLY CRAZY PEOPLE DRINK RAW MILK?

ONLY CRAZY PEOPLE DRINK RAW MILK?

THE WIDER IMPLICATIONS

AUGUST 5, 2011. The federal raid on Rawesome Foods in Venice, California, is based on the insistence (with guns) that private citizens can’t make contracts with each other to buy and sell raw unpasteurized milk.

Some uninformed types believe the raid was solely focused on the fact that Rawesome doesn’t have a business license. But it is a private club, and the last time I looked, a club doesn’t need a license to carry on its activities.

Do private citizens have the right to form an association, by contract, and then engage in exchange of goods and services, among its members, regardless of the opinion of the State?

Well, if we return to the basic document, the Declaration of Independence, can we interpret the inalienable right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness without understanding that private contracts are fundamental to this pursuit?

In the case of Rawesome, the government believes it can garner wide public support, and therefore it feels confident its prosecution will make no one nervous. Whereas, if the product Rawesome club members were buying and selling was homemade oatmeal, the public might balk and see the intrusion on Rawesome as invasive and quite insane.

Speaking of which, the government is using what I call the The Crazy People Doctrine.

If more than, say, 60% of the American people believe Rawesome is crazy, the government is good to go in court. If that wide majority thinks raw-milk dealing would only be carried out by nutcases, then the whole issue of whether private contracts are inviolate can be set aside and dropped in the trash.

Well, we know government agencies have been warning the public about raw milk for at least 70 years, and claiming that pasteurized milk is wonderful and safe and scientific. So The Crazy People Doctrine seems like a slam-dunk here, regardless of how the specific charges against Rawesome’s owner are eventually worded.

He’s crazy, who cares whether we (the prosecutors) say he was doing business without a license or was selling a dangerous product or was making a contract he had no right to make.”

And the public will say, “Find him guilty, he’s a whacko. Nobody in his right mind would sell raw milk.”

As usual, I’ll resort to one of my extreme bizarro analogies:

Let’s say eight of us form a private club, and we buy and sell, among ourselves, little gold balls of plant matter which, when ingested, have been shown, invariably, to cause severe one-hour headaches. The balls have been tested, over and over again, and amazingly, the verdict is precise across the board. Eat a gold ball of this plant substance, you get a one-hour headache.

And suppose the eight of us believe this activity of buying and selling and eating the gold balls is part of our pursuit of happiness. We’ll assume responsibility for the headache. Do we have the right to have our club and engage in our activity—or does the government have the legal power to destroy the club and prosecute us on a criminal charge?

The government says, “Gold balls are food products for sale. Therefore, they fall under our jurisdiction when it comes to the issue of safety. Period.”

The public says, “Put these crazies in jail, or in a mental institution, and drug them to the gills.”

Government says, “Citizens have no fundamental and overriding right to make private contracts among themselves. We can intercede at any moment we choose to. Any rule or law we make automatically trumps the so-called right to private contracts.”

If we accept this judgment, then we are admitting that private relationships are a thin illusion that can be swept away without notice.

If you and your friends own a piece of land and build a community vegetable garden there, and then exchange squashes and tomatoes and grapes and cucumbers with one another, from your individual plots, the government can send in a food safety inspector, he can walk on your land, and he can decide whether your vegetables are legal. Your contract with your friends is null and void and without meaning—and always was.

If I call in a friend to fix my car in my garage and he doesn’t have a license to do repairs, he could be arrested or cited with a fine.

If 50 of us form a health club, and buy and sell amino acids among ourselves, and if we happen to have printed a sheet, for internal distribution, claiming these products cure arthritis, the FDA could invade our office, confiscate the products, and charge us with practicing medicine without a license.

And if the public, by and large, believes we are “crazies,” the government feels confident it will escape blowback.

You now, perhaps, see one clear reason for government/media/science propaganda: “creating convenient crazies.”

Take, for instance, the arena of vaccines. If government succeeds in outlawing all claimed parental exemptions from the jabs, based on its own version of good science, how many people will rise up and revolt? Versus how many will say refusing vaccines was always just for Crazy People?

The Crazy People Doctrine, behind the scenes, is the standard of prediction that government employs—and propaganda is the tool it uses to manufacture perception about its targets…

So that the matter of private contracts is tossed into the garbage.

FDA LUNATICS AND CRIMINALS

FDA LUNATICS AND CRIMINALS

AUGUST 5, 2011. In a 2010 action filed against the FDA, the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund sought to protect the freedoms and rights of family farms—particularly when it came to the right to ship raw milk across state lines.

The FDA responded to that filing in a most revealing way. In an astonishing way. Its position allows you to see into its bureaucratic/fascist soul, if an agency can be said to have a soul.

Read these words (from FDA) carefully, because they amount to a manifesto and a prediction about what is to come, if the people of this country don’t push back in overwhelming numbers:

Plaintiffs assertion of a ‘fundamental right to their own bodily and physical health, which includes what foods they do and do not choose to consume for themselves and their families,’ is simply unavailing because plaintiffs do not have any fundamental right to obtain any food they wish.”

And then the FDA made this assertion:

There is no fundamental right to freedom of contract.”

After you pick yourself up off the floor, think about why the FDA made the latter statement.

Small farms and consumers have been forming clubs in America, just like the club, Rawesome Foods, that was raided two days ago. These private groups are created to engage in contracts, agreements among themselves, about what foods they will buy and sell.

In the case of raw milk, in order to avoid interference by the government, the club members agree to take responsibility for their own health, and the consequences, if any, of drinking raw unpasteurized milk.

They are, in effect, saying, “We make the choice. The choice doesn’t involve the government, one way or another. This is a private contract.”

But the FDA steps in and issues their edict: you don’t have a fundamental right to a contract. You especially don’t have a right to a contract that contravenes one of our regulations. You are under US. We decide, not you.

Those are the battles lines. They have been drawn in stark terms. The federal government isn’t going to change. It needs to be able to obliterate any private agreement in order to expand its control. It needs to be able to say, YOU ARE NOT A GOVERNMENT BY THE PEOPLE, YOU ARE A PEOPLE BY THE GOVERNMENT.

In these FDA comments, which deserve to be communicated far and wide so people can understand what is being done to them, the federal government has let its share-and-care mask drop, and has shown its face.

Look at it.

THE GREAT RAID OF 2011

THE GREAT RAWESOME FOOD RAID OF 2011

by Jon Rappoport

www.nomorefakenews.com

We may have

Sold a few thousand automatic weapons

To Mexican drug cartels,

Helping them murder and maim,

But this time

We’re launching a pinpoint operation against…

MILK!

GOT RAW?

YOU’RE BUSTED!

Hands up! Vacate the store!

Dump the milk,

Clear the shelves,

Take the cash,

Steal the records,

Cuff that mother,

Take him downtown

And book him, Danno!

Don’t worry your pretty little head,

John Q Android, we’ve got it covered.

Raw milk!

More dangerous than Fukushima!

At dawn,

Intrepid agents

Of the government,

Cloaked in black,

Armored,

Fully weaponized,

Held their final briefing.

They went over blueprints

Of the Venice

Private club

On Rose,

Checked their loads,

And swept out to their vehicles.

The enemy is clear this time.

This ain’t no Iraq or Afghanistan.

It’s milk!

The raw breast of cow.

A few hundred citizens dared

To form a private group

Knowingly

Outside federal rules and regs.

They cared nothing for the sacrament

Of Pasteurization!

They defiled the word and the holy process!

Destroy them!

WE ARE THE GOVERNMENT GODS!

WE LICENSE,

YOU OBEY!

WE GIVETH AND TAKETH!

WHAT YOU

AGREE TO

AMONG YOURSELVES

FOR YOUR OWN REASONS

IS

A

CARDINAL

SIN!

YOU HAVE PLACED YOURSELVES

BEYOND THE PALE!

EXCOMMUNICATION!

HERESY!

We are the black armor and the white coats of the lab, the corporate farm, the genes, the pesticides, the nutritional denominations of the sacred pyramid. We enact our wrath from a homogenized apex of power.

Wipe that raw mustache off your lip!

Get on your knees!

This is the new day!

The mask is off. We are the gods of sustenance. From our edicts alone flow the dispensations of the natural world.

What may pass into your bodies, in this paradise of planning, is by OUR decision.

Nothing defiled may enter your mouths!

ATTACK!

BUST THOSE BASTARDS DOWN TO THEIR SHORTS!

TAKE THEIR POSSESSIONS!

ENLIST THEIR NEIGHBORS AGAINST THEM!

MAKE THEM PARIAHS!

And now by the power vested in us, by the cracked and shattered Constitution of the United States of America, we arrest you. You have the right to remain astonished. You have the right to defend yourselves against an army of prosecutors. You have the right to speak along the narrow channel of what regulations permit you to enter as evidence. You have the right to

Realize the composition of the new world

Understand who and what is god

Pass through the valley of confusion and resistance

into the light of the all knowing brain

in the machine of justice

and regain your soul

at last

through the terms of your punishment.

Redemption is a hard road.

Life is pain

All the way up to the moment

Of illumination.

So

Put

Down

That

Milk.

Don’t

Dare

Suck

That

Inch of cream from the top.

Hideous!

Raw!

Vulgar!

UNHARMONIZED!

The Rawesome Foods Raid

Why it really took place

by Jon Rappoport

August 4, 2011

(To join our email list, click here.)

(Update: Be sure to also catch my podcast on the great Rawesome Food Raid of 2011).

Most of you know by now that multiple agencies of the federal government raided Rawesome Foods yesterday in Venice, California. FDA, CDC, Dept. of Agriculture—along with LA County Sheriffs. Armed sheriffs.

(See the story that Mike Adams, Editor of NaturalNews.com broke).

The whole story, and vital updates, can be found at www.naturalnews.com

According to reports, the terms of the warrant were ignored and, instead of taking samples of raw milk and cheese for lab analysis, the entire inventory of Rawesome was taken or destroyed.

This is all about a government attack against selling raw unpasteurized milk. The conflict has been going on for at least 60 years.

Three people were arrested and taken to jail in the raid. Their bail is high, much higher than you would expect.

All records and computers of Rawesome were also seized.

This raid is about several things–

The federal government crackdown on food and their need to control it, which is part of an overall strategy to stamp out the small grower and the small farmer, so that all food in this country is produced by mega-agra corporations, and is genetically modified.

The clout of the dairy industry and its lobbyists.

And, because Rawesome is not an ordinary retail outlet, but a PRIVATE buyer’s club, whose members agree to operate outside the federal government’s rules and regulations on food safety, the club poses a distinct threat to the government octopus—and not just in the food sector.

ANY private association of citizens which, by virtue of its internal agreements, honors CONTRACT above LICENSE, has found its way back to the original intent of the Republic.

And as far as the government is concerned, that must not be allowed to stand.

You see, if you and I sign a contract which permits us to deal with each other in our own chosen way, with no reference to government, we are DECENTRALIZING. This is the point.

Government, on the other hand, wants to control and issue licenses giving conditional rights to us, for every activity under the sun.

You and I, for instance, can agree to “practice medicine” with each other. We can a sign a contract to that effect. By that contract, you can treat my lower back with a medicine you invent—a medicine the FDA has not certified (licensed). We have found a way around the regulators and the lawmakers. And we are responsible. There will be no law suits and no complaints, no matter what the outcome.

And that way is at the heart of what the Republic IS. Or was, until the feds decided, long ago, that control was the objective of society.

Were hundreds of thousands of private “clubs” to spring up in the US, along many lines, the decentralization of power and the taking back of individual responsibility would direct a lethal effect against federal power.

This is why Rawesome was raided in such an overwhelming and unconscionable way yesterday.

The government doesn’t want you or I to be responsible for our own choices and decisions. They know what lies ahead on that road. The dawning of a new day, in which the tonnage of regulations designed to ensnare us in the web is irrelevant, is itself a lie, is seen as an illusion and nothing more.

We would be able, along many fronts, to opt out of the system.

Private contracts assume and breed self-responsibility.

The system of government-issued licenses breeds dependence.

Government and their media allies WANT YOU TO THINK THAT THE VERY IDEA OF PRIVATE CITIZENS MAKING THEIR OWN CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS WITH EACH OTHER—OUTSIDE THE BOUNDARIES OF GOVERNMENT RULES AND REGULATIONS—IS ABSURD, DANGEROUS, AND A SIGN OF LOATHSOME PRIDE.

And you know what? They’re succeeding.

The millions of little dependent androids they’re creating are all too willing to meddle, snitch, and obey “the boss.”

But the truth is, if the members of the Rawesome Buyer’s Club want to purchase and drink raw milk, and don’t care to consult or knuckle under to federal rules on the subject, that is their private right. They don’t want government “protection.” They have their own point of view. If other people want to buy pasteurized milk with growth hormones, fine. Rawesome is doing something else.

The government sees this as a threat that could undermine its drooling need for control.

Right now, the raid on Rawesome is taking place under the auspices of the FDA, CDC, and the US Dept. of Agriculture. I hope you understand these three agencies are part of the Executive Branch of the federal government. And that means the White House. And that means the president. For any of you who may think Barack Obama is the incarnation of The Second Coming, I suggest you take a step back. Decide whether your newfound religious conviction exonerates the president who, whether he knew about the raid before it happened, or only knows about it now, has the power to let it stand or make it go away. In this case, YES WE CAN means “yes, we can put a boot on your head and cancel your freedom to eat the food of your choice—even though we have that little showcase organic garden on the lawn of the White House.”

Under Obama, the power and range and influence of genetically modified food is accelerating. That is what HIS new day looks like. How do you like it?

Take a moment, and separate whatever opinion you may have about the Rawesome buyer’s club members, and their practices—separate that from their RIGHT to form their own association with their own objectives. Decide about that bigger picture. Because what you decide and what action you take based on it have a lot to do with what the future is going to look like.

WHAT DUE ROBOTS DUE?

WHAT DUE ROBOTS DUE?

By Jon Rappoport

The castle of money crumbled under the strain

Of too many lies

Told right out in the open.

The desperate

Screaming

Traders

On the floor of exchange

Couldn’t find cash anywhere.

It was all numbers.

And how do you say infinity and zero

At the same time?

The world was floating on endless islands and lagoons of money

And there was no money.

A fat florid pig

Stepped to the Exchange podium

And bellowed:

ALL DEBT IS ERASED!

THERE IS NO MORE DEBT!

But nobody listened to him.

Io

U.

Io

U.

Due to others

As you would

Have them due unto you.

A crazed drunken radioman

Yelled into his microphone,

BANKS ARE STEALING TRILLIONS!

THERE HAS TO BE

ANOTHER PLANET

WHERE THEY’RE SHIPPING

ALL THAT CASH!

Io

U.

Io

U.

Suddenly all the robots

On the streets of New York,

The nerve center of the world,

STOPPED moving.

They just stood there.

Traffic halted.

Cops froze in their tracks.

Sound died out.

Gradually, slowly,

One thought

From who knows where

Pervaded the air:

WE MANU

FACTURED

SO MUCH

MONEY

IT’S

ALL GONE.

And then a faint echo:

WE STOLE

SO MUCH

MONEY

IT’S ALL

GONE.

Time out on planet Earth.

Io

U.

Io

U.

A space of time passed.

Someone

Somewhere

Must have pulled a switch

Because

Then

The same idea

Passed into the heads

Of all the robots:

I AM MONEY!

I AM MONEY!

And they unfroze

And all the streets

Blew into action.

The robots

Ran into stores

And tried to squeeze

Themselves into cash registers.

The robots ran into banks

And crawled over the counters

And swarmed the tellers

Trying to deposit themselves

Into accounts.

The robots raced into politicians’ offices

And laid themselves out on desks

As bribes.

The robots danced in the streets and shouted

And wriggled

In ecstasy.

WE ARE THE MONEY

OF MONEY!

WE ARE CHOSEN!

WE ARE THE SKY AND THE OCEAN OF MONEY!

We are washed, cleaned, passed back and forth,

stashed, shipped, stolen, hidden, paid, repaid, valued,

devalued, inflated, deflated, spent, packaged, printed, numerals, digits, transferred, we are onshore and offshore, infinitely trusted legal tender, held up to the light, snapped off a roll, taken at gun point, everlasting vapor of the Vacuum, blasted out of the collective and universal mind, the teeth and claws and tongue of a hurricane!

WE ARE MONEY!

Io

U.

Io

U.

WE ARE THE FOUNDATION OF THE NIGHT AND THE DAY!

THE MACHINE AND THE GHOST!

THE BEAUTY OF ETERNITY!

WE ARE STANDING ON AIR

AND RUNNING ON CLOUDS.

WE RUN TO THE EDGE OF THE UNIVERSE
