Axios: “Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) sent two planes of undocumented migrants to [elite] Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts on Wednesday, joining Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) in sending migrants to sanctuary cities, Fox News first reported.”
“DeSantis appeared to target Massachusetts, which has a Republican governor, because state and local leaders have expressed support for policies that benefit immigrants regardless of their status.”
“Some 50 migrants believed to be from Venezuela arrived by charter plane at Martha’s Vineyard Airport on Wednesday afternoon, per multiple reports.”
“‘States like Massachusetts, New York and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country by incentivizing illegal immigration through their designation as “sanctuary states” and support for the Biden administration’s open border policies,’ Taryn Fenske, DeSantis’ communications director, told Fox News.”
Now let’s see, isn’t one of the sparkling celeb couples who make their home on Marth’s Vineyard…the Obamas?
Why, yes. Right there on the waterfront. They have no fear of impending climate-change tsunamis.
Sitting on 29 acres, the house spreads out its arms 6,892 square feet, and features seven bedrooms and eight and half bathrooms. Plus a garage, a separate barn, a pool, a pond, a boathouse, and a private beach.
Marvelous.
Perfect for housing undocumented illegal aliens.
I would think at least a dozen.
Can we expect an announcement in the next few days?

They’ll have all their meals served to them, and we’ve hired tutors to facilitate their fluency in English. Of course, Michelle and I will be taking Spanish lessons as well. Meanwhile, TMZ is reporting: “We have audio of a phone conversation between Michelle Obama and her Martha’s Vineyard gal pal, Gloria Van Landingwort-Schwartzmeister. The first voice you hear is Michelle’s:”
“Barack has gone full-bore wackaloon. Bullshitting the press is one thing, but making a promise like that…there’s no fucking way those migrants are moving into my house. I have enough trouble with the hired help.”
Van Landingwort-Schwartzmeister: “Lock up the silverware, baby. The invaders have come ashore. I’ll give you the name of my guy, Pedro. He’s flaming gay and sensational on details. He’ll do a running inventory of every single item in your house and ride herd on those aliens. By the time he gets through with them, they’ll be reporting on how many squares of toilet paper they use…”
Alas, I have a feeling all those exceedingly wealthy liberals who live and vacation on Martha’s Vineyard, and who support unlimited immigration, will consign the migrants to some sort of “community housing”—as far away as possible from their mansions, lawn parties, boating excursions, and leverage-merger type conversations that slice and dice the country on behalf of…themselves.
Tune in next week, when a commercial construction baron on the Vineyard brings a tank, mortars, and flamethrowers to his property, so he can remain secure while he conducts high-level meetings on new gun control legislation…

My Shadow
What evil seeks to escape this broken heart
Only my Shadow knows
For here the road to eternity starts
To the rhythm of time’s indifferent blows,
While through the gates of hell
My dear shadow follows me unrelenting
Over hill and dale
Where the fates of a new dawn dwell,
On that perilous road never ending
Where the orphans of oblivion
Flee the algorithms of the mind,
Singing their sad songs
Down at the dingy corner bar
Where my doppelganger of delight
Regales those buxom barmaids
Who sling the water of life
And drown me in my sunken dreams
At the bottom of empty whiskey tumbler,
Oh shadow, my shadow
How you mock my every golden utterance
Chasing these clattering old bones
Down the bloody corridors of time
Laughing all the way
At my mad musings most sublime,
He has a message for me
That I cannot refuse to hear,

Reluctant Warrior I would love it -as I’m quite sure many others- if you would consider producing a book of your poems; they’re fabulous.
I would love to do that but I don’t have a publisher though and I understand that publishing poetry is quite difficult. I might consider self-publishing but it involves some expense which would probably be worth the investment. I love writing poetry. It is singing the song of my soul. I even have a title: ‘Soul Wine: The Mad Musings of a Wayward Mortal.’ In the end writing is its own reward in the joy of the creative process and the ability to express the deepest promptings of one’s soul….and then to find that people can really connect with your writing. Even one such comment makes it all worth it! Thank you.

Eric Dubay reports that NASA’s black hole consumes $65,000,000 per day. If any of these people were sincere about welcoming them all in they can start declaring an emergency and begin daily diversion of this money into changing Martha’s into an illegal alien compound and rich playground escape where everyone is equal and equitabilitated. Imagine what $65 million per day would build there and other places. Problem solved. No homes are being built for aliens on Mars or the Moon. Build them here.

We can have all compassion for people who’s nations are an utter mess, without saying we can bring all the world here. We have a legal process by which people not born here can enter.

This is a stunt by DeSantis’ campaign managers. It is hard to know if it is even real. It’s one of those things we all Wish were real, but it’s most likely more media fabrication and staged theater. If there are any actual migrants now on Martha’s Vineyard, they are fakes, actors, stunt doubles and extras. But I doubt they are even there. Why should we believe the main media, and the Chosen Presidential candidate, are being honest with this news?
