Breitbart: anti-lockdown protestors force their way into Oregon capitol

I’m reprinting the Breitbart article here. My one-sentence introduction is: what did lockdown politicians expect was going to happen, sooner or later?

Breitbart, 21 December, by Bob Price: “A group of anti-lockdown, pro-Trump protesters forced their way into the Oregon Capitol Monday. One report shows some of the protesters were armed with rifles, handguns, and even a pitchfork.”

“A large group forced their way into the capitol as the legislature met on the opening day of the state’s third special session. The protesters expressed opposition to the state’s ordering of certain businesses to close.”

“While legislative sessions are normally open to the public, today’s was closed to anyone other than lawmakers, police, some staff, and reporters, the Oregon Statesman-Journal reported. Legislators met to attempt to pass pandemic-relief measures including landlord and tenant assistance.”

“Reports on social media show the group of protesters gathered outside the Oregon Capitol on Monday morning.”

“Salem Reporter journalist Jake Thomas tweeted a video showing a woman urging protesters to enter the capitol. One man reportedly shouted that people should be willing to get maced or arrested.”

“State police pushed the crowd back and at one point deployed blue pepper spray.”

“Police say the pepper spray was used in response to officers being sprayed by the protesters.”

“’At one point we used pepper balls. I don’t know what else,’ Salem Police Lt. Teven Upkes told the Statesman-Journal. ‘When people attempted to come in to the building they actually used pepper spray and other things on officers. In return we used those to separate ourselves and get them to hold that spot. So I don’t know what all was used but I know at least pepper ball was used’.”

“At one point, Oregon State Senator Dallas Heard (R-Roseburg) came out and addressed the protesters.”

“Reports indicate police arrested at least two people during the demonstration.”

“During the session, Senator Heard accused Oregon Governor Kate Brown of carrying out a ‘campaign against the people and children of God.’ He stood for a 30-second moment of silence, one Twitter user posted.”

“’This is yet another illegitimate session in which you, the democratic majority, have declared the people unfit to participate in person in their own Capitol building,’ Heard said on the floor of the Senate, according to KEZI ABC9. ‘Let the record reflect that I am in fierce opposition to any legislation that this illegitimate assembly may pass today. You will be held accountable for this in the coming years’.”

“’I declare my right to protest against your false authority and remove my mask,’ the senator said while taking off his mask. ‘I will stand here for 30 seconds while you decide if you are fascists willing to use the government to force and override my rights or to prove that you are nothing more than bullies and false authorities’.”

“The Daily Beast and the Daily Mail reported some of the protesters gathered outside the capitol were armed with ‘black rifles’ and handguns. Photos in both articles show a woman armed with a U.S. flag on a pitchfork.”

“Another video tweeted by Oregon Statesman reporter Abigail Dollins shows protests trying to force their way through a locked door.”

“Salem Statesman photojournalist Brian Hayes tweeted a video showing some of the protesters who succeeded in gaining entry inside the capitol. At least one of those protesters appears to be armed with a rifle.”

“He also tweeted a video showing protesters tearing down a covering on a vandalized marble relief outside the capitol.”

Like the lyrics, Opie. They remind me of the Bible in Paul’s letter to the Ephesian church. Chapter 6 discusses much about “standing” — not being moved, not starting the fight, resting upon truth and love and peace. Let God fight your fight. Do not fear even death.

Should the enemy attack you as you are just “standing” others will see how rotten the enemy is and will come to your side.

This is why communists, fascists, and all tyrants hate true Christianity (they love churchianity). True believers don’t care what you do to them — they know that someone greater than the greatest tyrants on Earth is watching and protecting and has a place for them when they die or are martyred.

PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT ALL FEAR (including fear of viruses — that’s my 2020 addition to the text).

Have a great Christmas. And, thanks for the song.

Christianity is a syncretic religion copied from other sources has done exactly the same as the covid narrative it is based on lies and propagated to form conformity,

Muslims have there version , Jews have there version and Christians literally believe in every piece of information in bible etc. Virgin birth is in other cultures long before the Christians took these older storys and typographic reinvented them. yet just like covid billions of people literally believe in it, there are many forms of conformity.

Again which sect within Christianity is the truth they all say they have the truth and then all these Christian sect fight amongst themselves. You dont have to believe in the religions to be spiritual. just as one does not have to believe in Covid.

          Thank you Hayden.

Cannot deny your link below about 6 Christmas traditions originating from pagan origins. This does not make them not good. And this does not mean followers of Christ cannot adopt them.

Paul told his readers that all things are good, but not necessarily good for you. The first church crisis within the church ended in a council of elders in Jerusalem stating everything is permissible except eating the blood of animals sacrificed to pagan gods — Paul later explains that this was not because it was “sinful,” but rather because it was misleading to non-believers that the Christians thought the pagan gods were equal to the only God and thus the pagan god worshippers would never know the truth that would set them free (from sacrifices, worrying about sin, etc…)

Regarding VIRGIN BIRTH, this was prophesied back in Genesis and Eve thought that her first born, Cain, was “the LORD” (literal translation) or God himself, especially so as she thought she was the one to bear the seed that would crush the deceiver and liar (the one everyone calls Satan — which means deceiver and liar).

So, the virgin “tradition” goes way back — at least to the time of Moses or, if you believe, to the fall and kicking out of Eden the first humans on Earth.

Now, you can disbelieve the old and new testaments (despite they are the most well documented pieces of literature by both DATE of writing and NUMBER of copies, extant and full — you make the choice as to whether you believe they are fiction or historical), but they exist. INTERPRETATION is the biggest problem.

The truth of the new testament sets you free from the bondage of sin and trying to please God with the things you do and don’t do (which He never commanded in the first place) and mankind. This truth further brings you into a relationship of LOVE with God and the world and all God has created that is in the world. This truth and love puts a different perspective upon all and takes away: fear, greed, jealousy, anger, hatred, and so many things that bring people down.

Christmas traditions may be borrowed from the pagans. I myself believe the better documented than any ancient history we have historical birth of the Christ was in September around the Judaistic feast of Tabernacles. BUT SO BE IT — it doesn’t matter because I am free.

Again, I say with an open heart of LOVE especially in such a dismal time for the western world:

          MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

          Regards in Christ

Well put. As a veteran of Catholic school, and early sceptic; it sounds like a fairy tale.

      • Opie Poik says:

“The real spirit will come from the knowledge that separate individuals have of one another and for a time it will transform the world. The community spirit at present is only a manifestation of the herd instinct. Men fly into each other’s arms because they are afraid of each other — the owners are for themselves, the workers for themselves, the scholars for themselves! And why are they afraid? You are only afraid if you are not in harmony with yourself. People are afraid because they have never owned up to themselves. A whole society composed of men afraid of the unknown within them! They all sense that the rules they live by are no longer valid, that they live according to archaic laws — neither their religion nor their mortality is in any way suited to the needs of the present. For a hundred years or more Europe has done nothing but study and build factories! They know exactly how many ounces of powder it takes to kill a man but they don’t know how to pray to God, they don’t even know how to be happy for a single contented hour. Just take a look at a student dive! Or a resort where the rich congregate. It’s hopeless. Dear Sinclair, nothing good can come of all of this. These people who huddle together in fear are filled with dread and malice, no one trusts the other. They hanker after ideals that are ideals no longer but they will hound the man to death who sets up a new one. I can feel the approaching conflict. It’s coming, believe me, and soon. Of course it will not ‘improve’ the world. Whether the workers kill the manufacturers or whether Germany makes war on Russia will merely mean a change of ownership. But it won’t have been entirely in vain. It will reveal the bankruptcy of present-day ideals, there will be a sweeping away of Stone Age gods. The world, as it is now, wants to die, wants to perish — and it will.”

      • Steve Gaylord says:

Alien tech developed by aliens which was designed solely for a covert operation to capture this planet. This is a subject that has been bandied about by quite a few leading ufologists.

      • Pharmerdavid says:

The entire world fell, since WW-II ended, probably before. The cabal that controlled the world’s money and media (mind control) for centuries, now controls everything. The USA Inc. hasn’t been a constitutional republic since 1871, when the US became the USA Inc.

  1. Paul says:

    “…and even a pitchfork.”

    Wow, now that’s determination.

    Skewered-lockdown-politician…
    medium-rare.

    • THX1138 says:

Pitchforks are appropriate when you are attacking Frankenstein and his monster.

    • Mackin says:

I prefer my politicians well-done. When the economy goes belly up for good there will be no place for them to hide.

    • eceres says:

What’s too bad is some today don’t even know what pitchforks are, pitch hay for horses or cows, or to clean shed or barn. So far away from what’s real now, considering horses were our transportion less than a hundred years ago. Wish we could go back.
      – In any case that’s not to leave out use for politics or politicians, just saying.

Since politicians are so hot on pushing chemicals on us maybe we could create some sort of politicians-be-gone bug spray. We can name each other ‘experts’, to sanctify the goodness of the spray for public health, put up some signs as media so everyone knows how to use the spray, and presto!

maybe optimistic, but what’s life without creativity.

  2. margot grammer says:

Now if that would happen in every state, things would change fast. The problem is, most people don’t care. Too bad.

  3. Sean says:

I really like the pitchfork idea. Im going to purchase one too.

  4. Jim S Smith says:

what did lockdown politicians expect was going to happen, sooner or later?

That’s just the problem: “They” simply don’t care!

I expect that more people will eventually tire of all this sophistry, and be pressed into action out of necessity and perhaps, desperation.

    – “Nothing more dangerous, than a man who has nothing left to lose!

    • Tim_2A says:

      Very true.

Some of the desperation I see is in the eyes of those who will lose their jobs, if they remove their muzzles, or even if they express dismay over the futility of perpetually cleaning, when there’s no way on earth they can cleanse the air (or people!) coming into the businesses. Oh, wait, I guess they could just close down, right??

What’s next, brand-new HAZMAT suits, or no entry??

Another good quote, for our side to remember: “The most committed, wins.” It’s from a movie, the name of which I don’t remember.

There is a balance that we need to re-achieve, and I think THEIR commitment level is ALL based on OUR subservience.

I’m pretty sure THEY’RE getting desperate, so if their needle jab OFFENSIVE doesn’t work, we need to look for something MUCH WORSE than that, (not very far) down the road.

  10. malcolm tent says:

    Presumed Infectious Until Proven Innocent?

    What is “guilt”?
    “Guilt” can be defined as:

    1. The fact or state of having committed an offense, crime, violation, or wrong, especially against moral or penal law; culpability: He admitted his guilt.
    2. A feeling of responsibility or remorse for some offense, crime, wrong, etc., whether real or imagined.
    3. Conduct involving the commission of such crimes, wrongs, etc.

Why is there a protection of legal presumption of innocence in the U.S., and other “free” nations?

After the collapse of the Western Roman Empire, the West began to practice feudal law, which was a synthesis of aspects of Roman law as well as some Germanic customs according to the new elite, including presumed guilt.
This tended to favor the nobility over the lower classes, whose witnesses risked being seen as less credible.

After the rediscovery of Roman law in the 12th century, the presumption of innocence made a comeback.

“Presumption of innocence” serves to emphasize that the prosecution has the obligation to prove each element of the offense beyond a reasonable doubt (or some other level of proof depending on the criminal justice system) and that the accused bears no burden of proof.
The phrase “innocent until proven guilty” was coined by the British barrister Sir William Garrow (1760–1840) during a 1791 trial at the Old Bailey.
The foundations and idea being that accusers and their evidence be thoroughly tested in court, preventing jurors from prematurely assuming and/or concluding that a defendant almost certainly committed the crime,
and based on the legal inference that most people are not criminals.

Blackstone’s ratio as expressed by the English jurist William Blackstone in his seminal work, Commentaries on the Laws of England, published in the 1760s, said that:
“It is better that ten guilty persons escape than that one innocent suffer.”

Without such presumption of innocence, citizens can therefore be convicted and imprisoned without any evidence.

Assuming or presuming that a person, every person, is infected with some disease, results in the same type of consequences.
Social stigmatization, consternation, alienation, rejection and other such similar penalties often result.

So, in 2020 heading towards 2021, why are peoples health status treated differently than their status as free human beings?

    WE WILL TOLERATE NO MORE!

  11. Sue says:

When hanging out in places like No More Fake News, one can be lulled into the idea that a lot of people are waking up. But then, when I see posts on my Next Door app, I’m pulled back to the reality that I’m surrounded by smug, self-congratulating masked-minion brown shirts, eager to jump when Big Brother commands it.

When I try to share some very important information with them, like what is found here, it’s censored. It’s actually gone within 3 minutes of being posted. And it’s obvious that the rest of them are very happy to see it go. Never confuse them with facts – it’s just too challenging.

    • Paul says:

      “…one can be lulled
      …into the idea…”

      Keep YOUR faith,
      in your OWN knowing.

Stay, with the Idea, that within you, you already know, see, hear, feel, the truth of things.

And you can dance in this.
      You can move,
      You can sway.

      So stay…
      & wait for it.

      “Life can be vague…

      This time tomorrow
I’ll [You’ll] know what to do
I know its happened to you”

      ~ Bowie

      https://youtu.be/yyOapxKVlKw

    • Paul says:

      Hi Sue,

      I thought I’d add this:

If I understood your post correctly:

You shared some good information at another site & received an unfair curt response.

You also felt slight trepidation at the realization that the majority of people today may not be as aware as is necessary to bring about change.

Know, “they,” are the ones, who are truly lulled.

If I got that correct? great! If not, apologies.

      So…Alas.

I think of Music as a Universal Language, in its power & scope. And I think of Bowie as the epitome of Individualism.

I hope you know, that it is a rather important & noble task, to share good information, to all who will listen.

In this way, a change toward the better, is wrought. And you become an integral part of that change.

Recently, Jon wrote an article in which he offered “a phrase.” I took it to mean that when trying to achieve something worthy, especially, in the face of contemporaneous push-back, then dogged determination, is a most valuable tool. Patient, studied & assured, self-reliant focus.

      “I can do this forever.”

So…STAY…In your dogged determination. Let that be your Touchstone.

And with your own unique savour fair & will, share & create, dance & sing, & never despair. ALLOW “them,” to lull about.

“There’s always some change in the weather.’

    • Pharmerdavid says:

You are correct. I find the best way to share this information, is to write nomorefakenews.com on used fliers, all over the streets. I also yell “NOMOREFAKENEWS.COM” at mask wearers, especially high school children.

  12. DC Miami says:

It’s a start, but this needs to be stepped up in breadth and depth. By that I mean it needs to be done in more major cities, and the penetration must be deep enough where the politicians are unprotected and must come face to face with those they victimize. They are not there yet but this is an encouraging sign. I like it!!

  13. hayden says:

I be walkin’ god like a dog
    My narrative fearless
My word war returns to burn
    Like Baldwin home from Paris
    Steel from a furnace
    I was born landless
    It’s tha native son
    Born of Zapata’s guns
    Stroll through tha shanties
    And tha cities remains
    Same bodies buried hungry
    But with different last names
    These vultures rob everything
    Leave nothing but chains
Pick a point on tha globe
    Yes tha pictures tha same
    There’s a bank a church a myth and a hearse
A mall and a loan a child dead at birth
    There’s a widow pig parrot
    A rebel to tame
    A whitehooded judge
And a syringe and a vein
And tha riot be tha rhyme of tha unheard

    Calm like a bomb

    This ain’t subliminal
Feel tha critical mass approach horizon
    Tha pulse of tha condemned
    Sound off America’s demise
    Tha anti-myth rhythm rock shocker
    Yes I spit fire
Hope lies in tha smoldering rubble of empires
Back through tha shanties and tha cities remains
    Tha same bodies buried hungry
    But with different last names
    These vultures rob everyone
    Leave nothing but chains
Pick a point here at home
    And tha picture’s tha same
There’s a field full of slaves
    Some corn and some debit
There’s a ditch full of bodies
    Tha check for tha rent
There’s a tap, tha phone, tha silence of stone
    Tha numb black screen
    That be feelin’ like home
And tha riot be tha rhyme of tha unheard

    Calm like a bomb

    There’s a mass without roofs
    A prison to fill
A country’s soul that reads post no bills
A strike and a line of cops outside of tha mill
    There’s a right to obey
    And a right to kill

  14. MaidinAmerica says:

Belated response to all of this:
    1) I do like the pitchfork idea – let it spread!

2)You can’t trust “reporting” from OR Statesman Journal

3)This was the 3rd off schedule “secret” session where public was forbidden to attend. I believe the primary goal of this protest was against these basically off the record meetings to the public.

4)In interviews and local social media, I did not see or hear about guns and rifles. I know this organization and a handful or 2 attending and these people would not support bringing weapons. It’s not impossible, but nothing supports this happening.

5)I saw a reputable interview between 2 patriots following this protest, and one was a person that probably was election frauded out of an OR govt position this election. A young-middle age woman told of being hit w/ 7 rubber bullets by OR State Police. She had a swollen, bruised jaw that would later be checked for fracture. She mentioned one of the arrests was of a patriot who sprayed a St Police after the police had doused a 12 year old with spray. All confrontations came from the State Police. The local city police were on the side-lines and have a done a reasonable job standing down against governor’s excessive overreach.

6)Interesting that a Salem Police didn’t know what was deployed or used against the public. Again on this day it was not their jurisdiction.

7)2 streets into the Capitol were totally blocked off with what looked like heavy military artillery vehicles….(Want to see what the state legislature is up to??… Forget about it…)

8)Senator Dallas Heard is a hero! He plowed through his mew moments of 1st amendment rights while Senate President Courtney banged the gavel the entire time once Sen Heard’s muzzle was removed.

9)Other news sources are in question. This is the kind of reporting that BLM should get in Portland…but…yawn….

10)The public announcement about this session may have stated “covid” relief but that was another rabbit trail. They are really working on climate change and an anti-liability measure for “covid” so if schools should start back with vaX coming (don’t know particulars yet) but protection would be for the govt/schools so that they won’t be held liable for testing and vaXxing your child w/o consent or compliance or damages that follow. Any funds for relief will probably get conveniently lost…But that’s ok because the governor is a card-carrying member of the CCP

11)For your encouragement and to rekindle conviction watch this amazing movie “This Land is Mine”, made in 1943, involving Nazi occupation. It so resembles right now. Those that are awake-Maureen O’Hara vs the compliant peace-loving ones. Some powerful truth statements and courtroom scenes will strengthen your resolve about human dignity and truth that never dies.
    Here’s the trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=og2quk1a3gM. I got the Dvd from B & N_ble.
