Exit From The Matrix: Yes, I keep writing about imagination

by Jon Rappoport

Imagination is as natural and real as breathing. People who don’t know this or forget it come up against a brick wall.

Some of them then go to booze and drugs, some to violence, some to despair, some to the straitjacket of a severely repetitive mechanical life, some to the dull, dull ground of passivity.

Life is not a machine. Humans are not machines, although they often play one day after day.

Humans are creative.

They can step on that, try to grind it into dust, make up a thousand excuses, but the fact remains.

Societies and civilizations are never creative, after a certain point in their development. They opt for standard shapes and standard patterns of thought and standard organizations.

This devolution isn’t just the “the strong controlling the weak.”

It’s a subconscious impulse that spreads like a disease. Throughout history, you see it manifest in many forms.

These days, we have the massive Surveillance State. It’s an expression of “the standard human who must think and act in certain ways.”

Imagination puts the lie to all this.

Imagination goes anywhere you want it to, and in the process, you discover ideas and realms and dimensions and power that would otherwise have remained invisible to the end of time.

This is the natural state of affairs.

Everything else is programming.

Programming comes in two forms: what is done to the individual, and what he does to himself.

Every spiritual system and spiritual teaching, down through history, has initially or eventually discarded imagination and thrown it on the junk-heap.

It’s long past the time to reverse that trend.

The creative power of the individual, which is the key to his future, his happiness, his freedom, flows from his imagination.

For this reason, over the last 20 years, I’ve developed hundreds of imagination exercises, about 50 of which are included in my collection, Exit From The Matrix.

Here are the full contents of my mega-collection Exit From The Matrix. You can order it here:

What has been called The Matrix is a series of layers. These layers compose what we call Reality. Reality is not merely the consensus people accept in their daily lives. It is also a personal and individual conception of limits. It is a perception that these limits are somehow built into existence. But this is not true.

What I’ve done here is remove the lid on those perceived limits. This isn’t an intellectual undertaking. It’s a way to open up space and step on to a new road, with new power.

“I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge. That myth is more potent than history. That dreams are more powerful than facts. That hope always triumphs over experience. That laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death.”

Imagination is GOD. Whatever you imagined, if persisted, will hardens into FACT.

What you believe manifests that is why there is so much propaganda for ego mind control .Why the psyop COVID worked as almost everyone believed media, felt guilty from man made global warming lie covered their face and locked themselves up .
Only the conditioned mind( ego) can be programmed.
      Its time for knowledge .

Dear Jon, I can’t really get used to this “new” reality, no matter how hard I try. I swear to God I’ll buy your stuff, not only as a naïve way of thanking you but also to see if my imagination can keep me sane and get over this madness. However, my daily life -just like yours, I imagine- is a constant struggle. I imagine you’re beyond all this, but don’t you really feel some kind of pain any time you’re forced to wear a damn mask before you enter a supermarket or a bus or any other public place?

Despair might be my reaction, according to your words. It’s so self-destructive that I want to avoid this feeling, but it’s a hard pill to swallow.

Today I just saw the first tourists waiting in line in Barcelona, queueing to visit a famous Gaudi building -you would love it- but their temperature was being taken, all of them were wearing masks under the sun… and no matter how hard I try, this is not my reality. They seem to comply in a very submissive way, but I can’t help noticing all this bullshit and feel sick. Policemen with sirens and beggars asking for money are everywhere, they outnumber tourists… which is a really rare sight in this town. Since 1992 and the Olympic Games we’ve been sold a lie, and now people realize this: shops are closed, the city is a ghost town… you get the picture.

The Matrix was probably everywhere before all this, but I really did not see it as clearly as I can see it now.

I’ve stopped trying to open anyone else’s eyes -unplugging someone from this Matrix is impossible for me, and believe me: I’ve tried- but I’m not one of those “grab the popcorn and enjoy” kind of guys. I honestly feel real pain even if I try to keep my sanity and pretend to think we’re using masks as if we’re all in some weird mask party or whatever.

We’ll really have to create our own reality and live outside this surveillance state they’ve created, as this is really unbearable. The hard thing is trying to keep in touch with those who accept and believe this nonsense: not my favourite human beings, but I’m forced to deal with them on a daily basis.

Thanks again for your wise written words, as always.

So with the title of article that would be my cue to share a few things I thought to comment for some time on Jon’s consistant focus, nay, hammering 🙂 on individual and imagination. Personal perspective, I’d come across his blog a decade ago and would read here or there, then became focused elsewise making effort myself so wasn’t by for a while, then a couple years ago came by and noticed that while he writes other things he was still going on about individual and creating etc, which though it’s innate for me sort of thought why go over and over it, considering the many situations we are facing etc why not just focus on those. But after thinking of this a while realized -not everyone has sense of individual or creating, which the more I thought about it Jon must have recognized this long ago and is why he continues to center on it. The more I thought of it, looking at influences around us, media types, schools etc, electronics, can blur our ability to see and use our ability, not to be redundant but is true I think, and that people miss, as a focus. That lack of sense of personal standing leads to gaps in thinking, which of course leads to lack of energy or creating, and also choice making. It goes for everything really, from recognizing self, to creating a mind view of future -stealing from Jon there, to basic, like creating shoes to wear for strong posture, yes creating there, I had to put arches in mine, just a thing, point being there’s nothing that isn’t affected. Another example, aside from creating things is recognzing focus on choosing, as matter itself, an example, agendists like to frame things by their choices, for instance using a subject Jon writes about, vaccines, media frames choice as -everyone should be vaccinated, or, space out vaccines, as if those are the only choices, but there’s another choice, don’t know how much longer we will have choice but back to point, another choice being, no vaccine. The -focus being creating imagining, if there is imagination at work, also works by clearing a blurred view, by which we see more clearly. Jon’s writing on individual and imagination really has been and is core because without personal awareness, and creating, imagining, there is nothing to be individual with, or by. It really does begin there, as Jon has said so many times. I could go on but his work speaks enough.

Last a thought in Jon himself, just to recognize and share perspective. Last year when Jon’s blog was taken down in one of the waves that have been going on, and I think will continue til’ there’s little left on web, in any case, at that point I thought too bad, but, he had written a lot and if people hadn’t picked up anything or shared by now they never will, which between that and also as I realized later about the same time he lost someone close to him, I thought he would and should be done with it, quit. I could be off time frame etc as I have a bunch of pressure myself at the moment but back to point, I thought he would say that’s it that’s enough, but he didn’t. If I were making a mental picture it would be like this, I see those who make effort, sacrifice and real effort, who choose to go on even when difficult, and visualize as sort of cavepeople warriors, what everyone should be but most people aren’t, maybe vikings another visual, anyway those who choose spine and spirit. So in mental picture I picture Jon before, caveman viking stirring a kettle of his core thoughts, sharing with others, a very long time, his kettle should be secure by now by others also making effort, but the kettle and camp get turned over by a pack of bears. Looking at the wreck, and thinking of the time spent and sacrifice, he says to himself, I don’t need to do this anymore. He stands back staring, thinking. But then, after a while, he hammers out another kettle, hauls it over the fire, sits down and starts stirring again, this time with a bigger stick. I don’t know how much longer, and apologize this is a bit long, just thought to reflect and say something about Jon and his persistance. Thanks for not giving up Jon, appreciate you -greatly.

      To also understand,

Propaganda is oft-repeated for effect. It’s what has allowed this global system to proliferate, grow in strength, and become as commonplace as it is today. Whereas the expression, “Tell a lie often enough, and soon the people will believe it to be true.”

      Therefore,

If it works well for a lie, it should also work even better for truth. The trick is, to make learning the truth and understanding the truth as an adventure, – IE: “fun”. So repetition is often necessary, especially in lieu of newly-arriving audiences only catching the story, at first part way, to become just as fully informed as the long-term readers.

What so many “truth-tellers” seem to forget at times, is that it was through “salesmanship” that the lie gained prominence. So therefore the truth would greatly benefit from very good “salesmanship” in its own light. Hence, the repetition (with some variation of presentation) can serve well to deliver the message of truth.

  6. Jim S Smith says:

“Do we simply watch the stars, or do we become the stars?”

Just the same as “reality”: Do we simply perceive “reality”, or do we BECOME Reality?

  7. AK in VT says:

When you know the truth, the truth will set you free. But it is uncertain and looks a bit dangerous. However, you were never meant for a life of ease and predictability. You were meant for LIFE and LIFE to its fullest.

It is knowing the true Christ, the Creator God Himself, that set me free. Free from systems that wish to homogenize us all. Ironic that He came to set us free from the chains holding us back and in less tan a century, the majority of those who called themselves by His name re-bound themselves to a new “law.” Come out of those chains again.

The “church” is a good place to start as it gets you moving along especially into the habits of reading, studying, praying, but eventually you will need to, if not want to, break free: Yahshua the Christ will do that for you.

    Enjoy the journey.

Love the title. Not sure we totally gell on this Jon, but here is my take on things to do with this subject which I am deeply inter-rested in. When we talk of IMAGination, we are talking of IMAGES. We dream images. We rarely dream words, writing, reading, or even much talking, but we experience forms and feelings. When we observe nature, this is same process. We experience forms, and feelings, smell, touch, sound. It is all very sensual, and along with this comes imagination. We will daydream, and all kinds of stories will spontaneously happen in the mind.
Now psychedelics inspires all of this VERY much! When I have ingested psychedelics, I do not want to read words, or write them, or do mathematics, I want to explore the sensual world of forms and my deep connection with all of that.
Now I have a deep interest in mythology, and have discovered two dramatically different streams. The more ancient ones that are image-based are connective, and the others, the patriarchal ones are anti-image and thus disconnective. A very good example of this toxic myth is the myth the western world has taken as its myth, the Judean and Christian myth. In this the ‘God’ says how he is against images! And in these civilizations you also find that psychedelics are forbidden, and this carries on into our civilization which claims to have dropped the ‘God’ myth and is now all about science and reason! YET still, for many, if you are found to acquire even naturally grown psychedelics, such as psychoactive fungi you can face being locked up, and also its ‘education’ system pushes to the top of its curriculum subjects which suppress imagination, and many children who tend to daydream can now be ‘diagnosed’ to have ‘ADHD’ and drugged!!
So I am all for the encouraging of the image~ination!! ALLOWING creativity to flow~~~
