ANY person who exits an “officially designated victim-group”…and then succeeds in life on his own…and then goes one step further and refuses to identify his entire existence with his former group…but instead stands as a unique individual…why, that person, at the very least, must be a criminal, if not a terrorist, right?
That’s the crux of the issue: never leave your group.
That’s how society, civilization, and culture are promoted these days.
“Groups have needs, agendas, and problems, and the solution will come from government.” That’s the all-embracing formula.
The fake appearance is: victim groups are fighting for recognition and special status, and the government is pushing back—but that’s now a ruse. That’s a cover story. In fact, victim groups and government have the same goal: a relationship based on dependence. One side depends and the other side gives and protects.
The individual is out of the equation. He is portrayed as the greed-obsessed reason these victim groups exist and need help in the first place.
Banks, Wall Street, and mega-corporations are depicted as the end result of individualism.
In fact, government, banks, Wall Street, and mega-corporations are joined at the hip. They brush each other’s teeth first thing every morning.
Political correctness and the burgeoning movement to outlaw “offensive language” are merely tactics to: preserve groups’ separate identities; foment conflict between them; and ultimately foster their dependence on government authority.
The truth is, you can’t get free individuals to depend on government. Only “besieged groups” can be relied on for that purpose.
In the State’s eyes, a perfect society would be composed of groups who have entirely forgotten the concept of the individual, as if it never existed.
For example, Peter Collero, of the department of sociology, Western Oregon University, has written a book titled: The Myth of Individualism: How Social Forces Shape Our Lives:
“Most people today believe that an individual is a person with an independent and distinct identification. This, however, is a myth.”
When Callero writes “identification,” he isn’t talking about ID cards and Social Security numbers. He’s asserting an absence of any uniqueness from person to person. He’s claiming there is no significant distinction between any two people. There aren’t two individuals to begin with. They’re a group.
This downgrading of the individual human spirit is far from accidental. It’s launched as a sustained propaganda campaign, the ultimate purpose of which is top-down control over billions of people organized into groups.
Here are several remarks, meant to defame the individual, from people I would call high-IQ idiots (at best):
“The cold truth is that the individualist creed of everybody for himself and the devil take the hindmost is principally responsible for the distress in which Western civilization finds itself — with investment racketeering at one end and labor racketeering at the other. Whatever merits the [individualist] creed may have had in the days of primitive agriculture and industry, it is not applicable in an age of technology, science, and rationalized economy. Once useful, it has become a danger to society.” (Charles Beard, 1931)
Beard, a celebrated historian, sees no difference between individual racketeering and the individual freely choosing and living his own life. In making this judgment, he becomes an intellectual/propaganda racketeer of the highest order.
“British empiricist philosophy is individualist. And it is of course clear that if the only criterion of true and false which a man accepts is that man’s, then he has no base for social agreement. The question of how man ought to behave is a social question, which always involves several people; and if he accepts no evidence and no judgment except his own, he has no tools with which to frame an answer.” (Jacob Bronowski, Science and Human Values, 1956).
Bronowski is quite sure that hearing other people’s evidence and then keeping one’s own counsel is wrong. One has to accept that evidence on its face. This is sheer idiocy. Individuals are capable of deciding, on their own, what social agreements to enter into.
The State and its allies are real oppressors who contribute mightily to creating real victims; but what I’m talking about here is growing numbers of people who voluntarily take on the victim-mantle and seek comfort in nests of self-promoting groups who exaggerate and distort their own claims to special status.
The State needs these people. The State wants these people. Increasingly, the State employs these people.
Edward Bernays, the father of modern public relations, wrote: “It is sometimes possible to change the attitudes of millions but impossible to change the attitude of one man.”
Bernays understood that the basis of successful propaganda is a mass audience, an audience composed of groups, not individuals.
When a group assigns itself solid “victim-status,” it creates one basic rule: a member must not leave the group. Why? Because if he does, he’s claiming he is no longer a victim—and that assertion is a betrayal.
Nice and neat. A prison.
“I’m a free individual.”
“You’re crazy. There is no such thing. Now get back in the group where you belong.”
Down at the root, betrayal begins as self-betrayal. The individual gives up the ghost. From that point on, his politics don’t matter. He forgets what he could have been. He defines himself by race and religion and country and rank ideology and group. He finds words and feeling through which he can express his role in a stage play that decays him from the inside out.
Eventually, if lunatics have their way, every person on planet Earth will be designated a victim. That will be the group of groups.
It won’t matter why and how everyone supposedly turns out to be a victim. The reasons will be forgotten. People will “instinctively” sign on to the agenda.
And the management team running the world will put another check mark on their sheet of objectives:
“Earth is beginning to resemble one giant hospital/mental institution. Break out the champagne.”
There is only one problem. That plan is fraying at the edges. People are waking up and swimming to the surface through layers of deception. They’re returning to themselves. They’re recognizing group-ism for what it is: a meltdown into self-sabotage.
The artifact is the collective. The self is real.
Power, choice, and freedom never go away.
They may hide, but they can be resurrected.
Then the whole fake game crumbles.

Group think is never a good idea.
Another home run, Jon.
My mind is a secret society,
I think the government is trying to uncover it.
I agree that there is a tendency to not understand individualists who dont embrace the whole package of ideas characterising any particular grouping.
And
“In fact, government, banks, Wall Street, and mega-corporations are joined at the hip.”
True
However
“Beard, a celebrated historian, sees no difference between individual racketeering and the individual freely choosing and living his own life. In making this judgment, he becomes an intellectual/propaganda racketeer of the highest order.”
That is a distorsion of what Beard writes. He doesnt critisise individualism of the ‘local’ kind.
The problem with most libertarians is that they dont aim to challenge the oligarchy.
Apparently Beard was concerned.
Many people have so much in common that it makes sense for them to gain strength by collective action. Democracy is an expression of that.
The oligarchy therefore corrupts the system so the choices are stymied.
Libertarians wish to weaken the state.
The thing to do is to weaken the oligarchy. Today they and their multinationals are such a menace to life and health that humanity has increasing reason to seize these monsters and leave the task to run them to a meritocracy of responsible prople. There ought to be an oath for them to swear lojalty to the common people.
In the old days this was called ‘peer group’ pressure. At the root of it is the individual’s refusal to accept his/her own responsibility (powerless victim) for creating his/her reality which is the quintessential manifestation of separation from Source. The current war by the ‘elite’ or ‘deep state’ or ‘cabal’ is precisely against the rise of the individual spirit recognizing its Power in Self/Source.
“The self is real.” you’ve written. I suggest that this backlash is directed against is the actually Self – the divinity of man, which is the only way we are all created equal and powerful and One. Religions don’t point at it much any longer or encourage it, for most religions having begun with someone pointing the way to enlightenment for the individual have long since been co-opted/corrupted along with every other institution to be a ‘group’.
The current battle on earth is for the expansion (evolution) of the consciousness of mankind into 5th dimension reality known as The Christed Consciousness, Unity Consciousness, or Oneness from 3/4th duality consciousness. It’s basis is Love and knowing we are all divine Love at our core and powerful, self responsible creators of our own reality. This doesn’t erase individual expression, but rather recognizes that each is a unique expression of Source Energy.
The battle being fought is the ‘fall’ or dissolution of the human ego mind created within this separation from source. The beliefs, constructs, and behaviors developed in a global environment over millennia where Source/God could not be felt by the individual, created the dog-eat-dog world we see now. As the human ego mind (fragmented soul parts) are re-integrated by each individual back into Oneness, the individual’s consciousness rises into 5th dimensional awareness of Reality.
The battlefield right now is at the 4th dimensional level of awareness where each individual is choosing either 4th negative or 4th positive. 4 negative is service to self whilst 4th positive is service to others. In order for the individual to continue to ascend into 5th dimensional Unity consciousness or the consciousness that Jesus achieved in his lifetime (as well as many others in all other religions), every idea of separation from Oneness must be integrated. This is a spiritual revolution that will ultimately lead mankind and Earth into Galactic Citizenry – when we can be trusted to play nice with others…because we are in Oneness as are other ascended civilization.

Marxism was invented to do harm to the targeted nation. Russia Austria and Germany were early on the intended targets. Not the empire.
But to claim that anything is solved by expecting everybody to be their own guide is unrealistic.
Individualism is useful in moderation. Ie for the purpose of selecting good and responsible representatives. Shepards. But never has any group of such shepards ever trusted the judgement of the masses for complex issues.
Competitive entreprenurs need to be individualistic but they are a small fraction of the population.
The elites fear when people act in unison led by responsible leaders.
Therefore the Us is occupied by a tyrannical oligarchy.
(I agree with the libertarians about the Us not being capitalist real market economy but the libertarians offer no realistic solution)
And therefore the imperialists preempted the development of good and commensensical grassroots movements. And instead imposed marxism followed by devious fabianism. All of it supervisioned by the monopoly capitalist oligarchy.
Occasionally some Us politicians have perhaps been such good shepards but sofar they have never been elected into office.
“Good Shepard.”, that’s a old CIA term.
Individualism — you will never get a chance to take anything else. All kinds of impedance, and obstacles place conveniently to stop your movement forward.
Standing up and declaring your individualism is the only freedom that is available to you.
The right to think your own thoughts, to form your own ideas about the world and your place in it. Invidualism is you being yourself; unafraid; curious; armed with critical thinking and a sense of fairness and obligation to no one but yourself. You own the world nothing, you owe humanity nothing. You are at your basis, you granite basement — your stripped naked self, AN INDIVIDUAL.
That individualism is what I expressed when I inadvertently drew attention to myself which resulted in my suffering a purgatory for many years. So I am one of those individualists you defend. However many people are much more cohesive. Not lone wolfs like another. Therefore I think they do the right thing to make use of their similar interests. The oligarchy uses their power and money to manipulate the masses into artificial collectives not intended to strengthen them but only to divide and exploit them. Those elites like your preaching because those less individualistic creatures cannot exploit it to their advantage. Only a minority, albeit an important one, can. I think the book about Jonathan Livingstone Seagull was said to be such an elite project. But I havent read it. Many celebrities are hired agents and produce material for covert political agendas. The elites like you to believe commies might do that but from left to right the same elite is usually behind it. They dont leave much to chance.
“Those elites like your preaching […]”, I hope it is not preaching, I wouldn’t want that…
“To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best day and night to make you like everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight and never stop fighting.” E. E. Cummings
You mistake the lone wolf living at the edges, clinging tightly to his scruples. Unable, because of those principals, to move forward — reservations can plague his mind, reluctant to compromise what was hard-fought for — and the elite, well he has no such considerings, no restrictions. He devours the world. Groups, by their very nature impede individuality. They steal power from his synergy.
I never get what I want — in a group, there are always rules, by committee, compromise, the emotions and ideas and thoughts of others, blended with mind — the group, no matter how small, is a false sense of personal power — no matter how much it appears like us, in the end it is always a facsimile of what was initially thought, felt — something vital is lost when one counts on others, fully. No matter how amiable those others are, even in the least selfish state, individual power drains away.
Are they cohesive, more cohesive that a single human with a giant idea, and the wherewithal to see it through till a new reality is created. Groups plug into what is, and usually try to change it from the inside, or addend what might possibly be acceptable. Individualism is invention of something totally different, something brand new, perhaps even truly original, and that can only be gained in that singular state.
“The oligarch uses their power and money to manipulate the masses into artificial collectives not intended to strengthen them but only to divide and exploit them.”
Exactly, so an individual is much more suited to deal with that alone, to oppose it..
“They don’t leave much to chance.”
Yes and that is a fatal flaw — always systems, formula, categories, history, the proven, and what has worked before. Using one thing to expose weakness or strenght in another.
“You can’t do that kind of thing normally, but normal dumped without a note nearly a month ago. These days, I’ll happily set fire to a bridge the second after I’ve crossed it – I don’t plan on being around for the consequences to catch up with me.”
― D. D. Barant, Dying Bites
“I never get anything in a group..”
That certainly plays a role in mainstream politics. One swedish blogger with depth and scope told of his experiences from the swedish mainstream political parties, that they frose him out because they saw him as a threat to their own careers. In that case the cohesiveness was of a destructive nature. Sticking together because this makes them able to repell competent people who would really make a difference. Today they have seriously damaged Sweden out of adherence to career enhancing adoption of Bilderberg policies. The most treasonous body politics Sweden has ever had.
I believe in individuals and I also believe in groups It seems contradicting, but it is not.
When powerful individuals get together, they will always win.

As I think you already understand the “mental health” groups are the biggest in-group, peer group, group think out there. They club together and compare the drugs they’re on. Even forms of “resistance” against corrupt psychiatry is turned into a merry go round clown show where there are no wins for justice. They don’t know that Brazil threw out corrupt psychiatric practices decades ago, as did Italy who in 1978 passed a law to close down all their corrupted psych institutions and replace them with real support. The only Italian party that did not vote for that law was the Italian neofascist party. All this is unknown to anti corrupt psychiatry activists and campaigners in Britain who remain critically uninformed. http://blog.michaelzfreeman.org

The genus of occultism stems from “cultures” that broke free of the group.
Good article, but you imply a “myopic” one group. I don’t think this is the case. Evidence suggest there are numerous interlocked circles that buffer opinions. In fact, that’s why political objectives and purpose evolves.
I’ve been outspoken about Alex Jones and others of that “ilk”. I think they represent the “line”. Cross over it and you’re……*gone*
