In light of the resurgence in the news this past week regarding President Trump’s announcement of a proposed ‘Space Force’, as a new, sixth branch of the military (see here and here), I’m re-posting my article on secret patents… For many individuals, the notion of being in outer-space on various missions, brings their imaginations and energy to the fore, in tremendous ways — as in, The Flood. And, when that happens, then things start to happen — for the betterment of all of us. President Trump is reminding us of the imagination and energy inside each of us — and that, in-and-of-itself, is a gesture that should never be underestimated. With that said, what are some of the technologies needed for various successfully-conducted space missions? And, how many of those technologies are currently being withheld from the public in secret?
How many of these 5,000-plus patents, if granted, would be game changers for planet Earth? Who knows?
Buckle up. Here we go.
From FAS (Federation of American Scientists), Secrecy News, Oct. 21, 2010, “Invention Secrecy Still Going Strong,” by Steven Aftergood:
“There were 5,135 inventions that were under secrecy orders at the end of Fiscal Year 2010, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office told Secrecy News last week. It’s a 1% rise over the year before, and the highest total in more than a decade.”
“Under the Invention Secrecy Act of 1951, patent applications on new inventions can be subject to secrecy orders restricting their publication if government agencies believe that disclosure would be ‘detrimental to the national security’.”
“The current list of technology areas that is used to screen patent applications for possible restriction under the Invention Secrecy Act is not publicly available and has been denied under the Freedom of Information Act. (An appeal is pending.)…”
“Most of the listed technology areas are closely related to military applications. But some of them range more widely.”
“Thus, the 1971 list indicates that patents for solar photovoltaic generators were subject to review and possible restriction IF THE PHOTOVOLTAICS WERE MORE THAN 20% EFFICIENT. Energy conversion systems were likewise subject to review and possible restriction IF THEY OFFERED CONVERSION EFFICIENCIES ‘IN EXCESS OF 70-80%’.” (Emphasis is mine.)
“One may fairly ask if disclosure of such technologies could really have been ‘detrimental to the national security,’ or whether the opposite would be closer to the truth. One may further ask what comparable advances in technology may be subject to restriction and non-disclosure today. But no answers are forthcoming, and the invention secrecy system persists with no discernible external review.”
If you’re one of those people who maintains that advanced technology is being held away from the public, here is an overall smoking gun that validates your stance.
And you can see that breakthrough energy tech, which would radically lessen the need for oil, would be on the secrecy-do-not-release list.
What else is on the list? Old Tesla patents, for example?
The US Patent Office is an official chokepoint for the “planned society”—or should we say the “restricted society.”
But this is not to say advanced technology is always shelved or scuttled. The patent applications, in suspended animation at the US Patent Office, can be quietly disclosed, for example, to government researchers engaged in black-budget projects, where the data and the research are turned to “other uses.”
Innovative inventors, who can revolutionize society for the good, incur risks if they submit their patent applications to the State. Getting trapped in limbo, while outright theft of their research occurs, is one of those risks.
On the other hand, if a giant corporation has an invention that deploys the genetic engineering of food crops, and adds millions of tons of toxic pesticides to the environment, its patent application sails through review at the Patent Office.

Jon,
An old story about these secrecy orders, which is in need of repetition, BUT, This is business as usual and does not provide a perspective fort he people that be. Please also consider the many patents in public domain without secrecy orders which provide plenty of viable energy solutions. Please do NOT forget, it is already all-in the open. Please also consider the very many citizens experimenting with viable solutions but are not allowed to market them~!@#$%^&*()_
THERE IS NO PROBLEM AT ALL, BUT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF AVAILABLE SOLUTIONS IS SABOTAGED. THIS IS ONE OF THE KEY ISSUES. SABOTAGE BY POLITICIANS STUPIDITY AND DENIAL, SABOTAGE BY THE BANKGANSTERS, SABOTAGE BY WILLINGLY CHOSEN IGNORANCE, SABOTAGE BY DOGMATIC ACADEMIC AND OTHERWISE EDUCATION. The list goes on and on.
ENERGY is NO PROBLEM AT ALL, even environmentally friendly ENERGY is no PROBLEM.

About 3 weeks ago, American Intelligence Media posted on youtube “Overthrow of America by Geoffrey Pattie” about the theft of Leader Technologies’ patent which was then used to set up Facebook. Michael McKibbon, CEO of leader is interviewed and explains how it’s done and by whom.
In a way, I can understand why they hide their technologies, it is because of other countries like China, who always steal there technologies.
But I also understand that some times they hide it because it is harmful for mankind, they are so corrupted.
Anyway, at least we have Trump who wants to unlock the secret of the Universe.
And I should have added that sometime time they hide it because it is too good for mankind.
They are so anti people.
What? Because it is harmful for mankind? Does your statement allude to a benevolence of government? First they suppress the patent, then they steal it and evaluate its potential for military applications. As for being too good for the people, those patents found to be good for us are determined to be devastating to the existing multinationals and energy companies. Isn’t that why specific ‘free’ or efficient supplemental energy products are available to corporations but not to the common Joe? Increasing the self-sufficiency of the masses does not bode well for government or the Federal Reserve.
I recall Obama stating in a speech that what this country needed was the development of a car that gets better gas mileage. This statement was bull crap and meant to mislead, as I’m sure he knew that Ford Motor built a brand new facility in Mexico specifically to manufacture a car which gets 65 miles to the gallon to be sold in Europe. So there it is, fully developed and being produced, but prohibited from being sold in the US. Speaking with forked tongue serves the politicians well because, unfortunately, very few are actually paying attention.
I really think that might not be the case, what we will most likely find is that Trump is really no different to Obama or the Clintons /Bushes etc. the mafia is the mafia, it gets a new haircut and puts on a suit but it’s still the mafia. As for energy saving devices, do you really think government wants you paying less tax .. for anything? There isn’t any difference between government and big business, government is big business.

I’m just wondering whether Trump was a stand-up comic in a previous life and he’s trying to “reinvent” himself?
He’s certainly got the “Flat Earthers” (a CIA creation) in a spin 😉

Yes the world is full of crooks and they get away with it by sharing the spoils amongst them, the system is rigged, getting away with crime isn’t accidental it’s incidental, if you want to stop the crooks you have to put an end to the legal system which aids and abets their crimes by facilitating them.
Mr. Rappoport,
Do you seriously believe that Trump’s Space Force is meant to inspire us? The Space Force is meant to bring weapons to outer space, period. The financial outlay and the purpose it is to serve is laid out in the 2019 NDAA, currently working its way through Congress. In the NDAA summary, the Space Force is specifically cited as a branch of the armed forces with its mission statement given as “US military domination of space” and “to bring weapons into a new sphere of armed warfare”.
If you find that inspiring and think Trump is trying to stir the imagination and energy inside us all – as opposed to just killing us all off in a more efficient manner – the cheese has slid totally off your cracker.
Sorry, sir; I know you like Trump for your own odd reasons and you are welcome to do so, but your take on the Space Force really surprises me. They are creating a death star. And that is the sole purpose for this outlay of taxpayer money.
yes .. ignore what it says on the label .. this is the same old mafia as the last one, it just has a different manager. The product is the same and so is the price, they brought out a new brochure.
Finally the Aurora project goes public!! Magnetic propulsion!!
