The deeper reason for drug ads on television

Television viewers are inundated with drug ads from Big Pharma. It’s a flood.

Have you ever heard of these drugs? Otezla, Xeljanz, Namzaric, Keytruda, Breo, Cosentyz? Not likely. If you have, do you know what conditions they treat? Highly unlikely. But there they are, splashed in commercials.

Why? Who is going to remember to ask their doctor whether these and other obscure meds are right for them?

What’s going on here?

The answer is: IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT DRUGS ARE BEING ADVERTISED.

If Pharma can pay enough TOTAL money for ads, for ALL drugs, and dominate the allotted TV time for commercials, it can control the news—and that is exactly what it wants to do.

Pharmaceutical scandals are everywhere. Reporting on them, wall to wall, isn’t good for the drug business. However, as an industry ponying up billions of dollars for TV ads, Pharma can limit exposure and negative publicity. It can (and does) say to television networks: If you give us a hard time on the news, we’ll take our ad money and go somewhere else. Boom. End of problem.

Face it, the billions of dollars Pharma is paying for TV ads are a drop in the bucket, compared with its profits gained from selling the drugs. The ads are a good investment. As a bribe.

Control the news.

There is another reason for the insane flood of TV drug ads:

By their sheer number, they convince viewers that medical drugs (no matter what they are) are absolutely necessary.

Hour by hour, viewers numbly watch drug commercial after commercial. The overall message is: To keep illness from your door, to cure illness, to alleviate illness, you must take these medicines. THIS IS LIFE IN THE 21ST CENTURY. You’re all sick, and you need help, and this is the ONLY kind of help there is.

The drug companies could invent names of fake drugs that don’t even exist, advertise them in a cascade on television, with the same intent. DRUGS ARE AS VITAL TO LIFE AS WATER OR AIR.

But what about all those dire warnings of side effects from the drugs? By law, the companies must include them in their commercials. Well, the companies have calculated that, on balance, the stark, front-line, unending message of DRUGS, DRUGS, AND MORE DRUGS will outweigh the warnings in viewers’ minds.

If the television audience is nailed with the idea that they can’t escape; that their health always hangs in the balance; that dire illnesses are always waiting in the shadows to strike; that the slightest ache or pain could be a precursor to a crippling or fatal disease; and drugs are the only solution and protection—they’re going to overlook the warnings about side effects.

ALL IN ALL, DRUG ADS ARE NEWS.

That’s the approach. Pharma is blasting out 24/7 news asserting modern medicine’s central and commanding role in the life of every human.

It’s a gigantic and stupendous piece of mind control, but when did that ever stop tyrants from inventing reality for the masses?

Implicit in “ask your doctor if drug X is right for you,” is the message: “go to your doctor.” That’s the key. If the ads can put a viewer into the system, he will be diagnosed with something, and he’ll be given a drug for it.

So the drug ads are also promotions for doctors, who are the arbiters and the decision makers. Some kind of medical need (drugs) always exists—and the doctor will tell you what it is. And all patients should OBEY. Even if, in the process, they go broke.

Take the case of Opdivo, a drug that treats squamous non-small cell lung cancer. Cost? $12,500 a month. Patients on Medicare will pay $2500 a month out of their own pockets. And the result?

Wall St, Journal: “In the clinical study on which the Opdivo ad bases its claims, the drug extended median patient survival to 9.2 months from the start of treatment…”

The cancer patient pays $22,500 for nine months of survival, during which the suffering continues, and then he dies.

The ad isn’t mentioning THAT.

The ad relies on the doctor to convince the patient to go along with this lunatic program.

That industry has been described accurately by Dr. Peter Gotzsche, founder of the Cochrane Collaboration, in his talks & book called Deadly Medicine and Organized Crime:
“… I investigated the 10 biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world, and found out that their business model fulfills the criteria for organized crime according to US law….”

Threatening & bullying the establishment is exactly what pHARMa did in 1986 to get the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act passed… vaccine injury lawsuits were skyrocketing & compensation awards were rapidly becoming more & more astronomical with every court decision, pHARMa was going in the hole on vaccines, so they demanded “legal immunity” from accountability for deaths & maimings resulting from use of their products. After the Act was passed, no more vaccine injury lawsuits were ever reported in the news… “Poof!” … exposure of the carnage went away overnight; pHARMa was then free to increase the number of injuries exponentially by mushrooming the number of vaccines they produced, and collusion by the CDC & FDA made all those vaccines “necessary” for all. These people are criminals who have purchased legislation to make their murderous activities legal, and are currently purchasing legislation to make it illegal for citizens to decline to use their weapons of mass destruction. One of – if not THE – biggest Con’s-Piracy scams ever perpetrated on Humanity. JDR set the business model in motion, remember.

We are witnessing – and suffering – pure & open extortion by the largest convicted serial felon international drug cartel on the planet. Thanks for continuing to write about this criminal activity accurately, Jon. I just wonder when will enough iatrogenocide be enough? The abuser never stops him/herself… it’s the abused who makes the abuse stop by refusing to tolerate anymore. People have to starve this beast by declining to participate. This is one reason the vaccine transparency movement is so crucial now… vaccines are 40% of their total profits according to the financial reports… with zero liability against them.

Has anyone noticed the GUINEA PIG GENERATION which took hold after world war 11. when we were “trance” into seeing and Believing the one-sided view that Bacteria are “Disease causing” which also is used to distract us from seeing bacteria/microbes for really what they are …Micro beings ARE Our Enzyme and Protein factories BESIDES providing us with our Genetic Upgrades ! Where do we think the Industry is getting their Genetic information from and how do we think they transfer it …–BY Way Of Bacteria !!! The Industry Keeps us in a Static Environment of growth while evolution still continues, thus.. the bacteria are doing their re-cycling,and DNA Recombining while we are “trance” into keeping Our Collective Frequency at the same level creating a Static Environment in which we’re living our Beliefs, Meanwhile Evolution still occurs and thus the Bacteria caught up and we experience the re-cycling at a body level, when in fact we could be at a self-healing level, working with the bacteria who provide us with enzymes, protein. and GENETIC UPGRADES in response to our network of frequencies forming our Beliefs.

Having suffered much damage to my health and well being by what I term The Medical Cartel, I share your frustration. I’ve had to watch people I care about automatically go into cancer “treatment”, knowing that I would not be heard if I even tried to warn them. They use mafioso tactics to keep true healing from us. They will murder researchers or alternative doctors who threaten their stronghold. It is so infuriating to realize all this and to be helpless to expose their treachery.

    • miguelhud says:

Thanks for that sharply stated comment AmaraGrace. I especially liked the juicy word “iatrogenicide”. I hadn’t heard that before, but it hits it over the fence!

    • Dee Cee says:

I met him. He’s brilliant! He confronted Alaska’s mental health system, our judicial system, and an Alaska Psychiatric Institute (API) doctor within 48 hours. Tore a huge hole in our entire mental heath system. Thank God for rebels.

  2. JD says:

I have urged everyone to READ and understand the PPI on any drug they are prescribed. To date, I know of none who have done it. The medical cartel generally refuse to share the actual insert and point you to web sites that I don’t believe can be trusted.

It’s important to realize that the “side effects” listed for a drug are not possibilities but inevitabilities. Some are healthy enough to survive the damage. Some aren’t. But the damage the drugs cause is real.

    • Theodore says:

Patient Package Inserts (PPI), Medication Guides (MG), and Instructions for Use (IFU) are paper handouts that come with many prescription medicines…

      https://www.fda.gov/ForPatients/ucm412663.htm

      • AmaraGrace says:

The paper handouts are a snippet of information; the manufacturer’s package insert is what the FDA requires the manufacturer to disclose, included with every package of medication… which reveals more including but not limited to what the drug has & has not been tested &/or approved for, but isn’t nearly everything known either; the FDA doesn’t require drug manufacturers to submit *all* their research data, just that which shows certain criteria have been met – except in the case of “Fast-Tracked” FDA Approval, which requires even less testing/results criteria be met – never mind that most of the omitted/withheld information shows clearly what hazards & harmful effects the new drugs (or the ‘improved version(s)’ of old drugs) have actually accomplished so far in early testing phases.

The manufacturers absolutely know what their drugs are going to do – their main objective is to hide the whole truth from the target market until their R&D&M costs & a healthy profit has been reaped prior to (possibly) being forced to discontinue that product… enter their multi-billion dollar marketing department(s) tentacle, their med school curriculum textbook publishing industry tentacle, their “respected” medical journals (published & fully funded by pHARMa) tentacle, their pHARMa front companies/organizations/patient advocate groups/bloggers tentacle, their lobbyists tentacle, and their legal departments tentacle that reduce the “cost of doing business” as far as possible when their products ultimately maim & kill so many they’re forced to pay fines/court awards.

The real drug testing is done within the first 5 years a drug is on the market after the FDA calls it “Safe” and is used widely on the unsuspecting public. The FDA makes it beyond easy for the drug profiteers to hide fundamental, essential facts every patient (& even docs) really ought to know; they make truly informed consent literally impossible by not requiring full disclosure at any phase of the process. CDC & FDA are drug profiteers of the same caliber. The CDC owns 54 patents on vaccine technology alone, and that specific advisory committee is made up of industry insiders… profiteers… how is it mysterious that the “official recommendations” are increasing exponentially, in line with projected record vaccine industry profits?

I’ve only studied 2 specific aspects of the drug industry/culture so I’m not knowledgable about every tentacle of that beast… but the way they have been chemically maiming us at the beginning of life for almost a full century (restraining/drugging birthing mothers was standard by the 1930s; infant vaccination began a few decades later; now vaccination in-utero is the standard) is responsible for the USA having the distinction of both the sickest *AND* most drugged population on the planet. It really ramped up when ‘operation paperclip’ brought the nazi scientists here to begin working for us – a tremendous boost for pHARMa’ reach into mainstream American culture. Jon’s blogposts about both eugenics and mind control are edifying for connecting the dots in that direction. Sickening. Literally.

  3. Chris says:

Anyone curious as to the origins of “prophylactic” pharmaceuticals being peddled en masse should read Overdo$ed America, The Broken Promise of American Medicine by John Abramson, MD. The book was published in 2004 and is more relevant than ever. It is the best unmasking of the Pharmaceutical Industry’s preferred terminology (i.e. relative risk) when a new drug really isn’t superior to an old drug in terms of either absolute risk or cost to the user. It also unmasks the financial ties the panel of medical “experts” had to Big Pharma before foisting statin drugs on the American public.

  4. Jeff Pearce says:

Drug ads serve the same purpose as “FREE” car inspections by garage’s. They just now if they can get you in the door they will sure as hell find something wrong. Doesn’t have to be one of the free items they are inspecting.

  5. The Watchman says:

Another great article, Jon! What amazes me is that the side effects are usually worse than what they are supposedly trying to cure such as dry skin, toe nail fungus, etc. And 90% of these ads also state warnings about decreasing your ability to fight infections and to be sure to get checked for tb. Those 2 factors alone should scare anyone. Another thing is; if anti-depressants are so great and wonderful, then why do we need another drug such as Abilify to help them work. To me, all this is telling me is that the original anti-depressant described isn’t working and is basically worthless!!!

  6. Marilyn G. says:

I’ll be 72 in July. The number of Big Pharma drugs I take equals ZERO. Instead, I rely on supplements, which work, with virtually no side effects. Prior to switching to supplements to keep me healthy, I was getting age spots and had them burned off. But there’s no need to see a dermatologist any longer, because the age spots stopped popping up.

I no longer see a physician. They’re a bunch of minions of Big Pharma! I was told by an opthamologist that there was no cure for dry eye. WRONG. A few drops of glycerin based nascent iodine in your water every day cures dry eye, dry mouth, and sent my thyroid problem packing.

    • AmaraGrace says:

Congratulations Marilyn on taking back responsibility for your own health… by educating yourself; it’s something everyone can do now, and you’re a brilliant example. Good Going!

    • From Quebec says:

Just like you, I have never taken a pill in my life, not even an aspirin and I am 73 years old.

But I do take natural supplements from the Infowars store. Most of them are liquid and good tasting. I would hate to swallow a pill, I would be afraid to chock on it…lol

To me, doctors are only good for car accidents, a broken legs, small injuries or stuff like that.

I do not understand people who gets yearly medical examination. They always find something wrong, and they end up with a new prescription. Go figure!

      • sundancer55 says:

What’s even worse are the pediatric physicians who demand these “well baby checks” every 2 months until the kid is at least a year old. This is nothing more than a scare tactic for new Mom’s who don’t know any better, and it’s a way for the doctor to give vaccinations at each visit – by fearing the Mom into believing those things are equal to immunization. What a load of hogwash. Vaccinations are not the same thing as immunization, in fact just the opposite. Babies don’t even have fully developed immune systems and they likely won’t get much immunity from anything as life progresses once they’ve been shot full of chemicals designed to make and keep them “patients for life”. It’s plain and purely disgusting what they will do to babies for money.

    • walt says:

      Thanks for that info.
I am 64 and stay away from doctors as well. I take no meds or drugs, don’t smoke or drink.
I plan on living or dying naturally instead of going bankrupt paying doctors to make my life miserable. We do need doctors, but not the ones who think every ache is a disease.

    STREAMING IS THE REAL REASON

Cable and satellite TV (which at inception was pay for non-commercial programs) are in the process of becoming extinct.
Given the choice people prefer actively selecting what they are going to watch rather than let cable and network execs choose for them.

NETWORKS ARE LOSING AD REVENUE AS THEIR ADVERTIZING DOLLARS FLEE TO STREAMING.

THE MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE REMAINING WITH CABLE AND SATELLITE ARE THE POOR, OR ELDERLY BOTH OF WHOM ARE MAJOR CONSUMERS OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS.

    SHAZZAM!
    It’s magic

    • walt says:

We dropped cable and stream and use an antenna where we get 30 channels (10 worth watching). I told cable, we were tired of paying them to watch commercials. Now commercials are muted, but we aren’t paying for them.
We also have an updated collection of 480+ DVD movies.

      • Erika says:

I hear that! We dropped most of cable..but are far enough into “rural area” that we only get cable access internet. We get Sling TV but most of it isn’t worth watching,
They sometimes offer free promos of HBO MAX and other “premium” subscription channels. I can honestly say that they never have anything i actually want to watch. I mean i guess if someone is into Dark disturbed porn and gratuitous violence they might go for it.
Most of the material has little story and no grace…acttual humor seems to be forbidden or badly done.

I too have a MASSIVE video library, especially since i don’t get US humor, especially the scatological stuff, and like some of the older Britcom and Drama because the characters actually have some depth..IN the US it seems that the cartoon characters have more depth than the movie and TV drama characters…sorry for ranting.

Thank god for the mute button.

        • AmaraGrace says:

‘Chef!’ (Lenny Henry) and ‘Coupling’ … Britcom at it’s best, imo 😉
CBC’s ‘Heartland’ has entertained me sufficiently with zero offensive elements, as has Hallmark’s ‘Signed Sealed & Delivered’ (I love the postal theme, and it’s written & directed by the Touched by an angel creator). I’m seriously considering joining Spiritual Cinema Circle & Gaia TV online…

I shut off TV about 10 years ago, when the government wanted to help me buy some kind of box to attach so I could continue to receive programming – yeah, NO THANKS for another bio-incompatible-frequency-emitter in my environment! I remember some of those were found to have cameras & microphones in them. From then on I decided to look at positive 85-90% (online & my own library) and keep abreast of what the psychopaths are doing here & from a few other select sources of alternative news media/citizen journalists in the limited minority; SPRword for documentaries I feel the need to know about – ‘Yes Men Fix the World’ is a fantastic production, btw. It’s a much more palatable diet of influence from the picture box.

    • chariot says:

I still have cable because excess microwaves, ie, wireless streaming has been shown to trigger seizures in susceptible people. My son has had intractable seizures all his life so as a parent I must protect him from any type of “trigger”. Unfortunately, the apartment building I live in will be having free wireless internet capability within a month. Will probably have to move in time.

  11. Reblogged this on amnesiaclinic and commented:
Witness the large followings on the alternative health summits on the net which are giving people choice.

  12. Black Sheep says:

Mainstream print publications, like the electronic media, also have a reciprocal relationship with pharmaceutical companies, often exchanging health-related editorial content for advertising revenue. The process is detailed in a chapter titled Big Pharma in the book “Sold Out: How an American Magazine Lost Its Soul.” Here’s an except: “Between 2007 and 2014, American Profile [magazine) published 30 stories about chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) . . . Most of the stories were accompanied by ads for Advair, Breo and Spiriva inhalers used to treat the disease that makes it difficult to breathe.” It should be noted that American Profile was not a health magazine.

    • sundancer55 says:

It’s now being discovered how dangerous Advair inhalers were/are, and I’d be willing to bet the rest of them are just as bad. As bad as the old Kenalog shots given in the 80’s and 90’s. But none of that stuff is being pulled off the market (as of this writing, that I know of) but raw milk is being vilified like crazy. That’s because raw milk helps asthmatics and the drug companies sure as the world don’t want anyone to figure that out so they’re making raw milk seem as if it’s terrifically dangerous. What a load of hooey. I’ve been drinking raw milk almost my entire life, eating raw milk products (raw milk cheeses, etc) and the stats from our very own CDC (liars that they can be) show that there have been no deaths from raw milk and it’s products vs lots of incidents and several deaths from pasteurized milks, cheeses, etc. Could someone please tell me how they continue to get away with making raw milk the bad guy??

  13. sundancer55 says:

If the tv industry wouldn’t take them on as clients, where else WOULD they go? They already advertise in magazines and most people just flip by them because everyone is sick to death of hearing all that crap and having it shoved down our throats as regularly as doctors try to shove the actual pills down our throats.

If only the tv companies would just tell them to F off, they’d have to go away and the ratings on tv would most definitely skyrocker almost overnight. I watch channels which do no advertising at all (because I’m sick of hearing ALL ads, not just drug ads) or I watch DVD’s. There’s no sense in trying to watch some program when it’s interrupted every 8 minutes with about 11 minutes of commercials. Makes me mad so I keep muting the tv but when I get tired of it, I change channels or slide in a good western classis DVD.

    • Wrusssr says:

Monte Walsh with Lee Marvin and Jack Palance (forget the Selleck Version)

Water Hole #3 with James Coburn

      The Culpepper Cattle Company

      Jeremiah Johnson

      • sundancer55 says:

@ Wrusssr: Mostly those are good ones, but I can’t stand James Coburn so didn’t care for stuff like waterhole #3. I’m more into the likes of Rooster Cogburn (although I hated True Grit because I can’t stand Kim Darby, never could). One of my favorite westerns/adventure movies was called The Last Wagon and starred Richard Widmark

I also likes series westerns like Lonesome Dove and the Return to Lonesome Dove, Broken Trail, an old one called The Quest and The Longest Drive (with a young Kurt Russell and Tim Mathison) which started out as a tv program pilot and then ended up being a movie, but I don’t understand why the tv pilot didn’t take off because it was a good storyline and could have been expanded and improved – ah well).

Western TV series that I like (and have dvd’s to watch) are Wagon Train, Maverick, Gunsmoke.

I have one series of a non-western show that I truly really like to watch so I bought all 7 seasons, called Blue Bloods with Tom Selleck and Len Cariou. Great stuff. My family has the “family dinners” just like in that show, only we have to have ours on Wednesday nights rather than Sunday, but it’s something I was surprised to see on tv, that’s for certain! Imagine it – family values on tv!!

I do not watch Television. Except for 2 Soap Operas that I record daily, so I can skip the advertising when I listen to them in my bead before going to sleep.

I like Soap Operas because they are for adults, what cartoons are for children.

They are fun to watch, everything is possible. You know like when Wile E.Coyote gets flattened by a roller, he just gets up and keeps running…lol

But, I must admit that my preferred Soap Opera is following the daily scams and corruption of the Deep State on alternative media sites like Infowars and others.

But, coming back to your article, Jon, It makes sense that television is filled with drug ads, because you have to be drugged to listen to their bullshit, especially the MSM.

  16. Sunshine2 says:

Do any of the commenters here have knowledge about wireless hearing aids? I am having difficulty finding specific information about them, how they work, what the little RF antennas in them do. Are they active all the time? Are the antennas pointed away or towards your head? What frequencies do they operate in? Do the signals go through your head for the aids to communicate? Can you even get hearing aids without RF antennas? Seems like that’s the direction all aids are going so people can use Bluetooth with them and so they can be programmed remotely. I really can not find any useful health/safety information on the web. It’s all fluff.

  17. joshsdad says:

This is why I don’t watch television programs. i don’t want to be programmed.

  18. One of your best and most perceptive articles, Jon.

“Power of commercialism”. What you say could not be more right. Drugs become “more acceptable” because they are “on the telly”. Coupled with cute “News” (sic) infomercials, it’s a winning combination. The old one-two.

Now, just imagine (if you will) if there was a world where everyone refused to watch their televisions? Is that the end of the “brave new World”?

Great article Jon and very informative. But sad that people with small-cell lung cancer that are on Medicare would pay $2500 a month out of pocket for that cancer drug, Opdivo, that gives a mere median 9+ more months of life. And how egregious that Big Pharma laughs all the way to bank at the expense of these Seniors grasping for few more months of life. A clear case of Big Pharma taking advantage of the Seniors in this country…who would have thought. Lol.

  23. bettyhill says:

The pharma mafia are great friends around the world with people like Gates and government. The reason is that they all interact together. People think that the FDA is there to protect them, but in reality they are just one of the parties in the global medicine scam that is fleecing billions of people every day. Indeed, the FDA impose fines up to $3 billion on the criminal activities of the el big boys, but people don’t know that these fines are factored into the cost of drugs that we pay for. In this respect as the pharma industry is the largest profit making industrial sector in the world, they can do this quite easily. For when you still make $14 billion on sales of $28 billion after a fine, as in the case of the Glaxo and its settlement of $3 billion, crime does pay and big pharma know that very well.

They settle these so-called fines out of court of course and therefore are never convicted as criminals, (which they really are), because that would mean that they cannot sell their hardware in the USA as an example. In many other countries they don’t even get fined because of their financial and economic muscle and where to do so, would mean ironically, penalties So they know whatever happens, they are always sitting prettily in the garden smelling of roses and extremely rich roses at that. Several years ago I undertook an analysis of the corruption of the top pharma corps. and where fines appeared not to affect them one bit and where they made even greater profits the year after… and the year after that…and the., even pay more multi billion fines in the process. Things have not changed one iota I can tell you and their friend behind closed doors the FDA also know this extremely well also. For between them they keep the people happy in making them think that they are doing their jobs right at opposite ends of the pole for the people, but where in reality it has to be said that, collusion rots the character as one of my old school teacher once said to me.

Global Pharmaceutical Giants have made Criminal Activity and the Fines a part of their Drug Costs – https://worldinnovationfoundation.blogspot.co.uk/2013/12/global-pharmaceutical-giants-have-made.html

  24. Mark A Girard says:

Thank you Jon Rappoport for this clear and succinct summary of the horribly broken situation in the US where drug companies are the biggest advertisers on television, something that is illegal and inconceivable in most modern countries. It is absolutely insane that this is allowed for a variety of reasons, as you describe here, with the two primary ones being that BIG PHARMA can blackmail the industry into ignoring all but the most serious problems, when massive numbers of people are harmed, and because a steady ongoing blitz of advertising for drugs of all sorts warps the mindset of Americans, leaving them believing that they need to be taking a bunch of different drugs at the same time in order to be healthy.

I found out the hard way just how broken and corrupted the system is when I had an adverse reaction to the fluoroquinolone antibiotic Levaquin. Even though I am pretty much the poster-boy for fluoroquinolone toxicity, a text-book case except that the tendons that spontaneously ruptured were not the Achilles, but the two next to it. I also had a cartilage transplant, hernia, torn muscle, collapsed lung, pulmonary edema, blood clots, broken blood vessels, bloated failing veins carved from 13 entry points so far, more coming, and a hundred other serious health problems, most of which are listed in the product literature. In the decade since this happened, throughout my visits with dozens and dozens of different doctors, I have yet to be able to get even one of them to acknowledge the fat loud stinking elephant in the room. The people who show up in the exploding support groups all tell a remarkably similar story, of horrific damage and of incompetent doctors who are absurdly and insanely over-confident in their wares and who waste precious time and money on imaging and lab-work in order to find “the real cause” of our condition. Even though the results are rarely what they were looking for they will insist that we try their medications anyway, just in case they help, and these drugs will routinely cause more problems for us. Worse yet, not only are we missing the treatment we do need and being poisoned by treatments we don’t, but we are padding the numbers of all the conditions they misdiagnose us with, like fibro and lupus and ALS and Parkinson’s and MS and so on, but we also skew the results of much needed research being done to help people with those conditions as we fail to respond to what may be effective treatments.

This also plays out in the media. We get occasional local newscasts and lots of articles in alternative health outlets and so on, but we are having no success at getting any national coverage even though they know there are most likely quite a few of us, as in millions. These are some of the most commonly prescribed antibiotics and yet they are from a class of drugs normally used for chemo. We want to get this message out there, but for now the mainstream media will not be biting the hand that feeds them. I urge everyone who reads this to google some of the key words from my post, including “floxed”, the slang term for our condition that comes from the generic names which all end in “…floxacin”.

Thanks again for a great article! Please, help us with an article about FQs!
