Alert to readers: This Wednesday night, November 1, 10PM-midnight, PACIFIC TIME (consult listings for other time zones), I’ll be doing two hours with George Noory on Coast to Coast AM. The subject: THE OPIOID CRISIS.

Help spread the word. I’ll be exposing and explaining the crisis and its extreme danger to populations all over the world.

For now: Federal agents arrest drug-company founder for opioid racketeering

Federal agents have arrested John Kapoor, the founder of drug-company Insys, for opioid racketeering.

FBI spokesman Harold Shaw said the arrest marks “an important step in holding pharmaceutical executives responsible for their part in the opioid crisis.”

Among the charges against Kapoor: promoting off-label uses for the company’s painkiller, Subsys, and bribing physicians to write prescriptions.

Essentially, the charge is: “you’re a drug trafficker.”

Doctors can prescribe drugs for conditions beyond those listed in the FDA’s specific approval. That’s what “off-label use” means. But the drugs’ manufacturers can’t actively promote or pay doctors to write off-label prescriptions. That’s a crime.

In my recent investigation of the opioid trafficking pipeline, I pointed out that the top of the supply chain, in many cases, is the manufacturer.

The corrupt company does one of two things (or both): it ships extraordinary numbers of opioid pills to distributors, with full knowledge it is engaging in trafficking; or it promotes and pays doctors to write unnecessary prescriptions for the opioids.

The latest estimates: in 2016, two million Americans were addicted to opioids;

Since the year 2000, 300,000 Americans have died from opioid overdoses;

64,000 of those deaths occurred in 2016.

Founder John Kapoor’s company, Insys, sells an opioid, Subsys, that contains Fentanyl, which is 50 times more powerful than morphine.

The truth is (and no one is reporting it), morphine alone is capable of blocking severe pain. The scores of synthetic opioids drug companies have developed, and the FDA has approved, are largely unnecessary. The proliferation of the synthetics has fueled the opioid crisis. These are the pills that are finding their way to addicts.

In addition to this, new designer opioids, coming out of underground Chinese labs, into Mexico, and up into the US, are so powerful one tiny dose can cause instant death. In many cases the street dealers have no idea the drugs they are selling contain these lethal compounds.

Tune in to Coast to Coast AM and listen to my extensive rundown on the opioid crisis and its clear and present danger.

    Kick some ass Jon!!
The Politics of the OPIOID CRISIS Is Hilarious…

Adding that microdose of fentanyl to these “medications” has to be the greater crime in all of this. What would happen if a vitamin supplements manufacturer added a small dose of amphetamine to each batch while claiming their product gives an “energy boost?” Worst yet, adding cyanide to any pharmaceutical….

    I’ll be listening Jon.

Contrary to the Official Narrative that the FDA (and by inference every other federal agency) is a *watchdog* for the public interest, it seems increasingly obvious that in reality it is a LAPDOG to powerful/wealthy corporate interests.

The pharmacy lobby outspends the next nearest group by 200% per annum – in this case that would be – unbelievably – the military-industrial lobbying group.

American citizens can rest easy knowing that they have the best politicians money can buy.

Two sides to every coin, Jon. I have a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) due to a terrible accident. Declared DOA at ER. Heart stopped 7 times. Machines kept me alive. Given last rights. Funeral planned. Comatose for 30 days and live in rehab for 3 years. I also take Norco QID for the last 15 years. I have permanent nerve damage and the pain will not abate without this assistance. Does it remove the pain 100%? No–nothing will. I have never abused, sold or increased my daily intake–ever. 15 years Jon. My education also included medicine. I understand the implications of having to taper if I stop. God help me if I have to.

Please Jon–show the other side of the coin. These Statists and uneducated Bureaucrats always swing way too far to the other side because, well, they are untrained, authoritarian, reactionary MORONS. Statists generally are. Don’t forget us Jon. We are here. Shall I #METOO?

Complicitors are The Corporatists—-Don’t forget that. Lets also give equal discussion to the fascistic corporatists and statists who sold our major ports to the Red Chinese who is shipping in this Fentanyl in diplomatic cargo containers which cannot be searched. This nation has been sold out by the fascistic, greedy Corporatists and their connected, inbred, wealthy, family owners. Please discuss this major operation–name, names. If I need to file suit, I shall. I will expose these greedy Corporatists and they will pay for their crimes.

“The truth is (and no one is reporting it), morphine alone is capable of blocking severe pain.”

Do you have a reference for that? There are references that indicate it is not always the case. Ask the chronic pain sufferers. Somewhere between 25% and 50% of chronic pain sufferers are saying pain management is not working for them. There are university groups studying this also, and there are good reasons, biochemically/molecular biologically/anatomically/physiologically to believe that no agent is capable of complete blockage of pain, especially chronic pain. And there are lots of references for that on the NCBI website.

  7. falcon says:

a user of these drugs will develop tolerance. if they later have a requirement for real pain relief, opiate options will be limited and they could end up in agony (as some oxycontin users discover when they get cancer).
the tolerance factor contraindicates using these drugs for anything other than serious pain relief.

Did they try candlelight vigils and hashtags? They brought the girls back and deposed Kony while saving Uganda. Forward! Yes we can. Hopey changey. Umm…umm…umm.

a bit OT, but have been reading about the remarkable effects of Iboga/Ibogaine in healing all types of drug addictions, with no side effects and often just in a single dose. however, 20 people have died in 20 yrs from Iboga, mostly chronic drug users who have not been screened properly or properly supervised during treatment. More info on line (where else?) or in “The Noble Lie”.

I can hardly wait Jon…you’re an excellent guest on George’s show and convey your information and points very well!

I really enjoyed the last show you did with George about the medical system. I hope you can do some more on that subject & vaccines as a regular guest on Coast.

I am bothered by the whole War on Opioids. Especially with the Government’s history of the War on Alcohol; War on Street Drugs etc. . All my life, I have known of ordinary patients who desperately need their pain medecine. So I sympathize with commenters like ” The Outlaw ” . There is a huge and legitimate demand for pain killing drugs by genuine pain patients. I don’t know of the exact details of the drug companies wrongdoing on this category of drugs: the Opioids; but there should be an honest investigation.
So, Jon Rappoport, as you have pointed out in your earlier articles, Psychiatric Drugs are a total fraud and have been around much longer. ( 63 years since Thorazine ). And I say that stupid and brainwashed people demand psychiatric drugs; but there has never been a need for them. The overwhelming medical evidence shows that the Psychiatric Drugs cause psychosis, massive neurological damage, massive physical damage, and are the cause of most of the disease in the USA. They actually cause a great deal of the pain that makes opioids necessary in the first place. Psychiatric Drug induced headaches would be one of many examples.
The Peoples real war should be against the Psychiatric Drugs: the Worst drug group of all.

  13. Lea says:

Jon, While I’m listening to you on Coast right now, I think it’s important to point out that opioids are necessary for North America in order to keep the Methadone and Su-oxone industry alive and kicking.
Money rules and so does government funded drugs serving as cheap and even ore harmful alternatives.
Not one addiction “doctor” can tell one what these govt. funded alternatives do to the human system.
I live in Canada with” freeish” health care.

Interesting to note that Methadone isn’t even used y palliative care doctors due to the difficulty of dosing..said to me from a palliative care doctor at Toronto’s Mt. Sinai hospital.

Interesting to note that there’s just pharma/govt. “help” for those using opioids/opiates and NOT stimulants, (cocaine, speed, etc.).

Another interesting point that I’m sure you know Jon, is the fact Ayahuasca, LSD , Amanita mushrooms and other specific hallucinogens happen to prove extremely effective in curing addictions to alcohol, stimulants, opioids/ates , depression, PTSD among other spiritual/psychological ailments.

An addiction doctor I’ve visited in the last year told me he tried to isolate the medicinal properties from the Ayahuasca plant , “without the mystical experience”.
I told him “Well, what’s the point”!

All I know is the fact that alcohol is the gateway drug, the govt. wants folks”down”, not “up”,
(Cheery Gum anyone)? and there’s soo much cash made with the fake and prolly harmful Methadone and Su-oxone .
No one in North America sees yet that Portugal is the country that knows what it’s doing concerning drug use and users.
    .
Folks in Vancouver can use free govt. sanctioned heroin 3 times a day if they qualify.
Toronto is considering something similar .

People freak out saying , “Oh no, making opioids free, would cause people to rush out and do it and die, making junkies galore”!
    Nope.
Anyone who wants to use drugs will do so illegally first, just like cigs, alcohol, and any other dope.

This a health issue, not a moral one and I wish people would realize this.
The reason that people in general want to get “altered” is the main concern.
If someone has pain give them relief.
    Spiritual pain is similar.
People are in physical, spiritual and mental pain.
Why else do they get high?
Dr. Mate is the man to discover.
    Thank you Jon.
    I appreciate all you do.

Lea,Listening to last nights presentation by Jon Rappoport and after reading all of the above astute comments, I found yours to be especially insightful and touches the heart of the issue of non-pain opiate addiction, as well as, the use of other substances, such as alcohol,anti-depressants, psychotropic drugs, etc. I also agree with the benefits of hallucinogens [that have been banned] most likely for their spiritual restorative properties. I view the dependence upon substance as a way to escape emotional & spiritual loss, as well as, one facing themselves and becoming the best version of ‘me’ as they can be. Of course, this serves the ‘elite’ that wish to keep the masses subdued, uneducated, ineffectual, disenfranchised, and lost. Kudos to You!

No intention to input anything nationalistic here, just to give explanation to the meaning of the word ‘opium’. It means ‘intoxicated mind’. It’s a Macedonian word. OPI(j)+UM. The Greek roots shown in dictionaries is just red haring
