Collectivist mind control: “save the planet”

Collectivist mind control: “save the planet”

by Jon Rappoport

August 6, 2017

“The planet wouldn’t need saving if willing prosecutors had gone after high-level criminals (corporate, banking, war-mongering) with hammer and tongs. Now, the very people who escaped such prosecution have emerged as the leaders of the ‘save the planet’ movement. That’s called a clue.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)

The word “collectivism” sounds old-fashioned today. It’s supposed to.

It’s supposed to sound like a label from a bygone age when people were combing US government offices for hidden Soviet spies.

Collectivism is tied to other obsolete slogans like “Better dead than Red” and “America, love it or leave it.” In other words, we’re supposed to think collectivism was simply a trendy idea that ran out of steam.

You know, a bunch of crazy paranoids were warning everybody the sky was falling, but it wasn’t. They yelled COLLECTIVISM IS COMING, WATCH OUT, but nothing happened.

Well, the truth is, collectivism won its war.

So it changed its name. It became a thousand names behind a thousand masks.

If we win this fight to preserve freedom in America, will people understand what The Individual means? Or will we they be so brainwashed that they’ll preach and teach freedom for The Group, the Collective?

Consider the actions and words of the last few presidents. Have any of them made The Individual the basis of their rhetoric?

The answer, of course, is no. And Obama has been the worst of them in that regard. Obama is, you might say, the natural evolution of the eradication of The Individual. He’s focused all his attention on groups.

He bemoaned the unemployment rate in “the public sector,” which is the drone-core of the collective. He emphatically demeaned the individual entrepreneur (“you didn’t build that”).

Under Obama, the collective became a messianic force. As if, in its vague and undefined way, it would save us all.

Yet, for every significant enterprise in human history, the individual vision comes first.

It is the launching pad.

The energy and inspiration of one person is the thing without which nothing happens.

Where is this taught in our schools? Where do we hear this in churches? What corporations explain this? How many parents make this clear to their children?

The major media certainly don’t bother with it. Psychologists don’t study it or comment on it. Who is funding studies on the power and vision of the free individual?

The Individual is supposedly passe.

An overwhelming number of Americans can no longer conceive of themselves as free and powerful individuals.

I, for one, think about the free and independent individual every day. The very idea is a North Star that allows a person to navigate his life.

In uncountable ways, we are being drawn into the orbit of The Group. One group or another. We are told, directly or subtly, that everything we do is connected to other people, and that connection is the defining impulse which shows us what we are. We are THAT and nothing else.

Why did George Orwell write 1984 about Winston Smith, one individual? Because he wanted to show the effect of the all-consuming State on its primary target: one person. Is that the way the book is read and taught now?

Operation Mind Control, or collectivism, has triumphed so fully in our time that most people can’t imagine themselves as distinct and separate and free and powerful individuals. They feel guilt when they try. They feel they are betraying the Mass. They feel they are breaking the law. They feel they must retreat back to a position of safety. They feel that, if they step out in front of The Group, they are losing their innate “religion.”

Through devious means, the media twists “individuals” into “lone individuals,” a phrase we’re all too familiar with. These are the mysterious psychopaths who commit vicious crimes.

According to collectivism, to be saved IS to recognize that one is a cell inside an interdependent collection of cells. That is the premise. That’s the trendy thing to believe.

What do you think Globalism and the New World Order are all about? They are the apotheosis of The Group, disguised as humanitarian service to The Good.

This is a cold calculated propaganda operation. It sells because people, when they become aware of suffering, want to reach out and end it. That impulse is preyed upon by the Globalist vultures, twisted, redirected, and harvested.

On a personal level, many individuals become aware they can discover and invent visions of grand achievements and futures; then they hesitate; they balk, they feel alone; they don’t have the staying power to rebel against the Mass. They find a group into which they can retreat. They remain there. They hide from themselves there. They hope their self-induced amnesia will last. They invent reasons and stories and myths to explain their retreat. They seek confirmation they’ve made the right choice. They find other individuals like themselves, who’ve surrendered. They form bonds. They collectivize.

Now we are told the individual’s highest aspiration or vision must be service to the group. Thus the whole matter of “the greatest life” is presumed to be settled. It’s no longer worth re-thinking.

This, of course, is propaganda. In many ways, from many angles, it’s taught and implied in our schools. Children learn to parrot the appropriate phrases. They utter them proudly.

Look at how “one world striving together” has been used by Globalists in the last 65 years. We have, for example, the GATT Treaty, which gave birth to the World Trade Organization. And we have lesser treaties, like NAFTA and CAFTA, which were designed along the same lines.

These treaties have led to the enormous outsourcing of jobs and the flight of industrial factories. As Sir James Goldsmith pointed out, this is a completely criminal and insane policy. It means that the industrial countries have had to compete on impossible terms with countries where workers will produce goods for next to nothing.

It is economic suicide—planned economic suicide. Behind the psyop, this is the real and brutal face of the slogan, “We’re all in this together on planet Earth.”

From the World Trade Organization has come the pernicious standard called Harmonization. It means that food policy and medical policy and health policy and trade policy—and eventually military policy and limited free-speech policy and judicial policy—are all arranged on an international basis. No more sovereign choices and no more sovereign nations. Again, this is the real and brutal face of the collectivist slogan, “We’re all in this together on planet Earth.”

At the heart of the operation is the premise that the free and powerful individual, seeking his highest vision, seeking his greatest achievements, is defunct.

Some people, reading this, will think I’m against any group action, that I don’t believe group action has ever been effective. They miss my point entirely. I’m not talking about REAL group action. I’m talking about ENGINEERED group action devised to destroy life, under the guise of saving it.

And most of all, I’m talking about the individual human being SURRENDERING to the idea that he is unimportant, that he only counts in reference to other people, that he has no real power, no real imagination, no great vision, no great status.

Status ultimately is reserved for the collective.

In my life, I’ve known people, and I’ve seen people, who’ve launched and built and created enterprises of one kind or another…and then turned around and preached the primacy of the group.

Instead of standing as an example of what one person can do, a TRUTHFUL example, they betrayed all that and became advocates for the collective.

Some of these people have been co-opted, but many just failed to understand their own psychology. And then there were people who refused to think of others as individuals:

“Well, yes, I built that, but I know you can’t. So I’m here to help you, to put you into the mass, the group, the collective.”

Could they be more patronizing?

“Yes, I’m a big person, but you’re a little person. Don’t worry. I’ll show you the way. WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.”

And standing nearby, the real movers and shakers in the Globalist Club are cheering.

They live for the erasure of the individual. And they have lots of friends.

But here’s an irreversible clue. They don’t have THE INDIVIDUAL.

They never will.

This is why the father of modern propaganda, Edward Bernays, wrote: “It is sometimes possible to change the attitudes of millions but impossible to change the attitude of one man.”

Consider this idea: a college is formed on the basis of one question, aimed at each entering student: WHAT DO YOU REALLY WANT TO CREATE IN YOUR LIFE?

For four years, every student wrestles with that question, writes about it, talks about it—and every course comes back to that point of view. History, literature, biology, logic, mathematics—it’s all framed around the student learning and using that learning to answer the one burning question that will guide his future.

As an individual.

As an individual, shaking off the dead coils of The Collective.

IT IS EXTREMELY SAD THAT WE HAVE LOST A TRUE HERO IN THE CONSPIRACY WORLD OF TRUTH. JIM MARRS HAS LEFT US, HIS DEATH OCCURRED ON 02 AUGUST 2017, OF AN APPARENT HEART ATTACK. HE SHALL BE DEEPLY MISSED BY ALL OF US WHO SEEK THE TRUTH. WE LOVE YOU JIM MARRS.

I fear for our young people. Purposely, they have been denied the logical thinking skills needed for discernment. Too often their parents were more concerned with consumerism and outside appearances of success, than what their kids were being taught in schools. Will these young people vote away any remnant of Liberty that is left, and then cheer the ‘progress’ ? The crowd gets tats to show their ‘individuality’ (just like all their peers) . . but dare not think or speak outside the p.c. collectivist consensus.

    • futuret says:

THIS IS THE VERY REASON THAT THE BILDERBERGERS, ILLUMINATI, ETC…CHOOSE OUR PRESIDENTS AND WE DO NOT. IT BOILS DOWN TO ENTERTAINMENT VS. SEEKING THE TRUTH. DISTRACTIONS LURK IN EVERY CORNER.

      • Terri says:

In a collectivist framework, the individual does not make any choices that are important, its up to the authorities to do so. This is made possible because the people do not want the responsibility and choose to hide behind the collective, and then they can blame and feel superior to those making their choices for them.

Freedom isn’t free and comes with responsibility.

The arrogant ignorant millennials are already zombies, as well as their idiot parents who destroyed their brains, save a handful who are not. they are being groomed for the coming singularity and they will not put up a fight against it. Shockingly, many have incarnated just to participate in this obama- nation.

We must hold onto our individuality against this onslaught or we will be swallowed up by the tsunami. It may not seem like enough, but it is, the individuals’ will is a million times stronger than the collective.

        • futuret says:

HE VOLUNTEERED HIMSELF TO BE THE FALL GUY, SO THAT THE NEW WORLD ORDER CAN BE FURTHER PROMOTED IN AMERICA. TRUMP AND OBAMA ARE THE SAME. THEY PRETEND TO BE APPLES AND ORANGES, BUT IN REALITY THEY ARE TWO PEAS IN A PIE. YOU CAN NOT HAVE INTERNATIONAL INTERESTS AND BE LOYAL TO AMERICA, THAT IS JUST NOT POSSIBLE. HE IS A PART OF THE PLAN. WE ARE CONSTANTLY BEING PLAYED TWO SIDES AGAINST THE MIDDLE, AND PEOPLE JUST CAN NOT SEE THAT. THE LEFT WAS DUPED BY OBAMA, AND NOW THE RIGHT IS BEING DUPED BY TRUMP. AS FOR ME, I FAVOR NONE OF THEM.

          • From Quebec says:

            What are you smoking??????????

          • SamAdamsGhost says:

I don’t know if Trump was selected to be knocked down or not. I don’t know if he’s knowlingly going along with such a plan or not. Is he just incompetent in running the government ? Was he good intentioned and got derailed ? Why does he not go on t.v. and appeal for support & action by the millions who voted for him ? Why does he not ask them to help him push the agenda he promised ? Why not do this instead of the inane tweets ?

Is Trump’s job to prove “See all you populists, conservatives, & libertarians- even if you vote in someone you like – – it doesn’t matter. Might as well go along with the program if you want to survive.’ ?

          • futuret says:

STRICTLY SPEAKING FOR MYSELF; THAT IS WHY I DO NOT SUPPORT ANY POLITICAL PARTY OF ANY KIND, NOR DO I SUPPORT ANY ECONOMIC SYSTEMS, OR FORMS OF GOVERNMENT. I ASK MYSELF, HOW CAN I BE PATRIOTIC IN SUPPORT OF WICKEDNESS AND EVIL. AS AN INDIVIDUAL, I CONSIDER MYSELF A CITIZEN OF THE HEAVENS, AND AWAIT THE RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST. AS CHRIST HAS TOLD US, MY KINGDOM IS NOT OF THIS WORLD. I SEE PATRIOTISM AS A TOOL INVENTED BY THE ELITE, TO CAPTURE US EMOTIONALLY AND TO USE USE FOR THE PURPOSE OF ENSLAVEMENT. THIS APPLIES TO THE ELITE OF ALL NATIONS OF THE WORLD. PATRIOTISM OFTEN RESULTS IN FATAL BLOWS, IN WHICH BLOOD IS WASTED BY BANKERS, CORPORATIONS, WORLD LEADERS, AND MANY OTHERS WHO WANT TO PROMOTE THE MARK OF THE BEAST. I SEE NO HEAD OF STATE IN ANY COUNTRY THAT IS INNOCENT OF ANY EVENT, THEY CREATE THESE EVENTS FOR OUR BENEFIT. THEY KNOW THAT THEY CREATE CONSPIRACIES FOR OTHERS, AND OTHER CREATE CONSPIRACIES FOR THEM; IT IS THOSE THAT FOLLOW THEM SUFFER, AND IN REALITY THERE ARE NO TRUE ELECTIONS ANYWHERE. THERE MAY BE LESS THAN FIVE PERCENT OF POLITICIANS THAT DO CARE, AND THESE PEOPLE ARE VERY LOCAL AT BEST.

            Hey futuret…
Christ isn’t coming back. Christ never left. It’s right up there burning everyday. Cast aside your weakness! Put behind you your childish naivety! Kill the fear that binds you into unquestioned faith. Stop externalizing your authority. Jesus Christ is a myth. A recycled face told to intellectually stunted masses. It’s a control mechanism.

He is the sun God. Literally the son. Challenge yourself and you’ll find much more peace in knowing you are your own authority and no God can save you

          • futuret says:

OBVIOUSLY WE SHALL NEVER SEE EYE TO EYE, AND OBVIOUSLY THERE IS A DISTINCT PARTING OF THE WAYS. I AM THANKFUL I DO NOT HAVE A MIND AND SOUL LIKE YOURSELF. OBVIOUSLY YOU MAY JUST BE THE ONE WHO IS CHIPPED AND WEAR THE MARK OF THE BEAST.

I don’t think we need to continue with ad hominem or condescending tones. I probably was too harsh so I apologize.
I’m sure you are very well intentioned, but it seems an obvious pattern that Jesus was a figure who may or may not have existed and it also appears obvious, to me, that he was a recycled story about the sun. The parallels and similarities from previous religions is stunning.

The average Christian scoff at the Romans andd Greeks saying they couldn’t possibly have believed it, yet here are modern humans actually believing in a virgin birth. That is why I use the term childish. Not to be rude but to be accurate

          • Larry says:

One of the first things Donald Trump did following the victory in his bid for the presidency, was to look in to the tv cameras and say simply, “I need your help.”

He was speaking to all us in that clear, direct style that took him all the way to the White House.

He spoke from the heart and with utter sincerity.

The question now is, are *we* up to the task.

          • We will not agree on Christ because one of us believes in fairy tales.

I don’t need the condescending tone, my child, for though you have eyes you do not see

          • Terri says:

Larry, that is a good point. He told us he was giving the country back to the people, yet the people are not educating themselves and taking legal and lawful action in large enough amounts to drain the swamp.

It is up to the people who make up the heart of our Republic to repair the damage done by years of ignorance laziness and apathy. Trump is showing us that he can not do it himself.

          • Terri says:

futuret, Jesus does not want us to wait. He said you too can do what i do and more. He said the kingdom is within. He was targeted by the pharisees because he was showing the people their own inner power and divinity, that they did not need the church or anyone outside themselves, that they must take up responsibility and take wise action and LIVE FREE.

He denounced usury, Why do christians allow the unconstitutional fiat currency that subjugates everyone if they say they follow Jesus? Demanding a pure currency system, based on the value of people s talents and everyone fulfilling their purpose would change everything. Why arent the preachers denouncing the fed? Why didnt they resist back in 1913 when the creature from jekyll island was created?

Here is an example of a currency that can and will eventually become reality once the people develop self respect and self love.

  4. will iam says:

Forming sides is what grants the power that thinks it is life. That is why that is ga ga over war. As long as it keeps individuals forming sides then those will keep individuals IN some kind of container known locally as THIS.

“We are all in THIS together.”

What if the individual were to identify it’s self with it’s spiritual beingness (whatever that means) first, rather then its human beingness first. The simple identification of “me” as a human creates a self imposed separation from all that is. The individual has created a side against its own nature all by itself!

Is there any wonder that an individual sees itself as having little to no power?, but that can change in less then a heartbeat…….YOU spiritual being YOU!!

Barack Obama is the face of murder, he is the contributed to Isis, agrees to making Isis, and gave Israel $138 billion check, just before he left office, to destroy Palestine, The Lebanon, sedan and Syria. Barack Obama is nothing else. I hope that’s what this says in this essay here.

  6. middleway says:

It is fascinating to observe that those entities that own the corporations that degrade the environment via policies and products are the very same entities that instigate global conflict and drive the new world policies that will ultimately suffocate humanity. Key to their realizing their private utopia is: “It is far easier to control a few than it is to manage many”. Yet, the great majority of humanity remains clueless to their technological bondage and hypnotized by bread and circuses. An overwhelming sense of deja vu permeates our prostituted reality as history slowly repeats itself.

  7. From Quebec says:

Excerpt od President Trump inaguration speech:

Today’s ceremony, however, has very special meaning. Because today we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another, but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the people.

  8. From Quebec says:

    Trump quotes:

    – No dream is too big. No challenge is too great. Nothing we want for our future is beyond our reach.

    – If you’re interested in ‘balancing’ work and pleasure, stop trying to balance them. Instead make your work more pleasurable.

    – What separates the winners from the losers is how a person reacts to each new twist of fate.

    – You have to think anyway, so why not think big?

    – I try to learn from the past, but I plan for the future by focusing exclusively on the present. That’s where the fun is.

    – Anyone who thinks my story is anywhere near over is sadly mistaken.

    – Sometimes by losing a battle you find a new way to win the war.

    – “Get going. Move forward. Aim High. Plan a takeoff. Don’t just sit on the runway and hope someone will come along and push the airplane. It simply won’t happen. Change your attitude and gain some altitude. Believe me, you’ll love it up here.”

    – “Show me someone without an ego, and I’ll show you a loser.”

As for the globull warming carbon credits climate change scam, the stupid human earth monkeys will be green glowing bleached bones in the sand and the earth will still be here.

  10. Tim says:

“Unification of effort” “group cohesion” “we’re stronger together” ‘we’re all in this together’ ‘we’re all in the same boat’ These are all for the benefit of the people at the top. We below, are thrown under the bus, under the juggernaut.

In reality, for the individual, one is stronger working on one’s personal development, personal creativity. The slogans of the oligarchs are about creating and maintaining a continual flow of wealth from nature and labor to the oligarchs.

If one’s flow of effort is for personal benefit, in synergy with nature, (not polluting , not ruining it) then that will be much better for saving the planet, than the ‘rape nature’ recidivism of the oligarchs.

Go your own way. Save your unification of effort for your self, for nature. Unification of effort with nature, with your own creativity, will preserve the planet and biosphere. “You’re so selfish! thinking of yourself.” “Oh, really, more selfish than the oligarchs? Not possible!”

Unification of effort for oligarchs benefit will destroy the planet. Desertification, deforestation, pollution, mind control identity politics, gmo, dysfunctional Orwellian health care systems, etc, these are not things to rally around.

Don’t join the ‘we’re all in this together’ lemmings going over the cliff, going under the juggernaut, enriching the oligarchs. Save yourself.

  12. Another of your magnificent articles here, Jon.

In many ways what you don’t say is more poignant than what you do. The question that beacons, for instance, is who is “behind” collectivism? Yeah, you blame Obama, but it was as obvious as his teleprompter that he was a puppet; a puppet-president. Does the good ol’ US of A rule the roost still? Did it ever? Why did the Brits let it go so cheaply? What happened to all that Roman money?

Then you mentioned George Orwell/Blair and 1984. Did you know 1984 was published exactly one year after Palestinian sovereign territory “reverted” (stolen, if you will) to Israeli authority? 1948 – 1984…..I see it, but do others? Did Orwell/Blair give everyone a cryptic message too?

Keep up the good work 🙂

This subject reminds me of my grandmother, still the most beautiful human being I had the privelege to know. At face value she could be viewed (and was) as living her life in servitude to the collective. Always, she devoted herself to the service of others. When food was being prepared there she would be, when it came time for clean-up there she would be, often amid the cry of protest from others. “Sit down” they would say, “you’ve done enough.” OK, OK she would reply and continue on – simply at greater pace. She participated in conversation but never dominated, she had an opinion, but you had to ask for it.
It’s only now I realise this as the expression of the individual. She brought no new ideas or inventions into the world, but nevertheless steered her life in the precise direction in which she wanted to move, and was unshakeable from the course she chose. She passed away over 20 years ago at the age of 92 but left me with the oft-repeated mantra of her life – “always let your conscience be your guide” – the ultimate driving force of the individual.

    • Terri says:

My grandmother was like that too. She is missed. She was a real mother and a grandmother, and loved her family, a true lady, and she was not afraid to show it. There is nothing collective about that.

  14. Individualism is impossible in a world of hostile tribes. The West has been safe so long that delusions like this can prosper, however reality seems to eventually intrude. You may want to believe you can be left alone, but can you really? Not for long. Not in this world. People who say they want to “Save the World” are clearly deluded, but not because they are tribal. Tribalism is where all you came from. Since some have never left, you cannot afford to stand alone. Even John Wayne wouldn’t stand alone against a whole tribe of hostile Indians. That’s suicide.
Libertarians are not as far different from Leftists as they want to believe. If you see the world from space, you see no borders. Do you live in space? Maybe there you don’t need to see them. Here on the ground, you need em and need em enforced. Even your concept of private property is a border bub. You need those invisible lines enforced or those burglars will kick you out.
Libertarianism is a form of Utopian thinking. Those never work. Collective action is a necessary condition for Western Civilization. If you want to stop the Government from sticking its nose into your personal affairs you have to remove the franchise of voting from anyone who wants government “help”. Otherwise these bureaucrats will just keep helping.

    • Terri says:

you really need to do some more research before spouting nonsense.

    • flyinggabriel says:

Part of your argument is right. The only threat bigger than the other tribe, is a man without a tribe. In my country to abstain from elections doth butter no parsnips with the party faithful. You stand for everything that’s wrong with the world by default.
Nobody likes a free individual. The point was made artistically by Jack Nicholson in his “freedom speech” in the 48 year old movie ‘Easy Rider’ with the gloves fully off, check it out sometime. Nobody said it was easy and some are afraid of their own imagination for what they might find there. That’s when you need excuses.
The rest of your comment is a bit of a fruit salad to me I’m afraid, it’s hard to know where to start. Maybe the difference between collective action and collectivism and the forces behind them. Also, a free individual isn’t necessarily alone, isolated and without resources, including human resources. More likely it’s the opposite.
On the back of these assumptions you just sailed away …
As for living in space, I try to imagine it occasionally.

Let me give you an example of someone’s hatred of Donald Trump, it’s quite funny…consumed with my hatred, far too funny.

The last part of your comment was the most interesting…can you tell what is wrong with this:

“Thomas Jefferson, Adolf Hitler, Socrates, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Charles Darwin, Sir Isaac Newton, Confucius, Alexander the Great, Galileo, Mahatma Gandhi, Marcus Aurelius, Buddha,
Gorbachev, Winston Churchill, Abraham Lincoln and Donald Trump.”

Ahhahahahhaha, it reminds me of those find Waldo pictures, hilarius, you are very, very funny, keep them coming. aHahhhahahahahaha…awesome.

    • Can you not see the same level of consciousness is shared by religionists and statists? Trump is no savior, he’s just another egotistical psychopath. Every single politician is a psychopath because they believe they have authority to rule others. The people who believe they can give way their authority to govern themselves are lost little sheep, just like adherents to religion.
It’s the tell. If we thought we were dealing with children, we now know.

“Baaaa, baaaa, baaaaa! Come Jesus, save me! Save me Trump! My hero! Go beat down those devils!” Meanwhile the only thing you did was check a magic box once every four years to pick your new masters.
      Keep living in fantasy.

    • And Quebec, I’m sure you have many talents and are quite capable of many great things. I’m also positive you are deserving of respect and kindness. That said, I’m not keeping on kids gloves anymore when dealing with statists. They are the post modern religionists, and I have no tolerance for childish mentality in adults.

  17. Tim says:

Nature doesn’t put all it’s eggs in one basket. Nature has distributed, decentralized, disseminated proliferating creativity, with cooperativity and competitiveness.

The oligarchs want all the eggs in one basket, theirs. Oligarchs: centralized, collectivized, concentrated, anti-competitive, anti-cooperative and anti-creative.

WE ARE THE “EGGS” THAT THE OLIGARCHS WANT IN ONE BASKET, THAT WAY THEY ARE IN CONTROL. INDIVIDUALISM MEAN NOTHING TO THE OLIGARCHS. A CONCEPT THEY CAN NOT UNDERSTAND TO COMPETE IS TO MAKE BETTER AND SET AN EXAMPLE TO PROMOTE COOPERATION. TO COMPETE TO THEM IS JUST TO BECOME MORE WICKED AND EVIL, AND AS A RESULT DUE MORE HARM.
