I’m waiting for Google to explain why it deleted Natural News

(Update: Part-1 here)

As many of you know by now, Google deleted Natural News, owned by Mike Adams, from its listings.

When you type in “Natural News,” you don’t get “naturalnews.com,” you get “natural.news” instead — a different and tiny site also owned by Mike Adams.

Various people have speculated about Google’s reasons. All Google has to do is print an explanation. Where is it?

A few idiot science bloggers, who disagree with Mike’s views on health and medicine, think the Google deletion is hilarious. I guess they’re living in the Soviet Union of the 1950s. For them, the First Amendment, and the blood-soaked history behind its final enshrinement, is merely another joke.

Apparently, they justify their pleasure on the basis that Mike has been passing along information that could “harm people’s health.” My reply to that is this:

People can make up their minds about how they want to manage their own health. And an examination of conventional and official medicine’s effects reveals a shocking death toll—a fact these “science bloggers” prefer to ignore.

I have covered the extent of that death toll MANY times.

For example: Dr. Barbara Starfield, Journal of the American Medical Association, July 26, 2000, “Is US health really the best in the world?” The medically caused death total in one year? 225,000 Americans. Extrapolating per decade? 2.25 MILLION deaths.

Is Google de-listing web sites and blogs that defend THIS kind of medicine?

Yes, Google is a private company, and they can censor anyone they want to. They can print all their listings upside down. They can highlight sites that claim the moon is made of steak. They can post a cute doodle celebrating the life of Stalin. They can print a manifesto asserting that fake news is their business.

—Or they can simply publish a reason for deleting all listings for Natural News.

If you own a blog or website and you stand for free speech, I strongly urge you to write and post a piece about this situation and tell Google you’re waiting for their explanation.

If Google has nothing credible to offer, then they are censors. They’re a lot of things, none of them good.

So far, that’s the way I’m leaning, because it’s been a few days since the delisting. How long does it take to come up with a statement? How long does it take to stand for the 1st Amendment?

UPDATE: Here is a statement from Mike Adams (2/24):

“This morning, I was contacted by a Google technical person who directly emailed Natural News. According to the email, a Google techie found an obscure third party advertising script running on a tiny number of articles published 3+ years ago under the blogs.naturalnews.com subdomain, where content is posted by outside bloggers. (Many websites host similar blogs, including the NY Times.)…”

“Just to be clear, this script was NOT running on the www.NaturalNews.com primary domain, it was not part of any in-house NaturalNews articles, and it was not even recent. It was from years ago.”

“This third party script, identified as invoking ‘cpxcenter.com’, has been so far identified on a grand total of 13 blog posts that were posted from 2013 – 2014 under the subdomain blogs.naturalnews.com.”

“Using this as their excuse, Google blacklisted the entire NaturalNews.com domain, including all 140,000+ pages of content that contained no such third party scripts, thereby ‘silencing’ Natural News content by invoking an obscure, dated, barely-visible technical issue.”

“This is the electronic equivalent of a rogue cop claiming, ‘Yer tail light is busted! Hee-Haw’!”

“In other words, Google scoured the entire Natural News site and all its subdomains, including blogger articles, in order to find some ‘justification’ to ban the entire website. Even worse, they did not issue any warning to Natural News on this ‘Manual Action,’ they did not limit the content ban to the subdomain in question (blogs.) and they did not even tell Natural News which URLs were being flagged by Google, because that would have made it much quicker for us to identify the issue they claimed was responsible for the delisting. (They only told us about one URL today, after days of censorship of the entire website…)”

“But since then, we’ve discovered that Google’s own Blogspot network is running the same third party code! According to Google’s own logic, Google should have blacklisted the entire Blogspot.com domain. But they haven’t. Wonder why?”

Google, what’s your response?

It’s strange how those who start out as “renegades” and “innovators” eventually become the establishment that they created themselves to rally and protest against……..Those oppressed become the oppressors. It never fails.

  2. pal29501 says:

I doubt Google will give a satisfactory answer. Google has apparently joined the race to the bottom, and become #FakeSearch

Anyone know from where the name ‘google’ derives? I believe I know, being a health food nut. There’s an organic substance called guggul that supposedly rids the body of harmful types of cholesterol. I’d bet even money that “google” stole its name from “guggul”. And guggul is something you might learn about on Natural News! It’s ironic in a strange sort of way, don’t you think? Censoring entity ‘google’ has some tall explainin’ to do. People already think that they’re in bed with the CIA. Censoring is poor PR, google. No outfit is so big it can’t fall to the ground in a heap.

It came from the word Googol which is the number one followed by 100 zeros. And I used duckduckgo.com to check that. Hope everyone votes with their feet (or hands!) and uses Google as little as possible. Peace.

        Duckduckgo seems very good…

      • Theodore says:

        Thanks. I will try duckduckgo.com.

The company that makes startpage.com and ixquick.com now uses google results for both (where they anonymize the results from google). As a result, inputting Natural News does not result in naturalnews.com in the output.

In the past, the ixquick.com one did not use google results. I hope they restore the ixquick.com one to be without google again. In the past, if i was having trouble finding what i needed on startpage.com (with google), I would go to ixquick.com (without google) and i would usually end up finding what i needed.

So, does “without google” mean rolling your own “backend/webcrawlers” and storing all that data yourself? Was that probably too costly for them?

I am assuming that duckduckgo.com is rolling their own “backend/webcrawlers”. With Duck, inputting Natural News DOES result in naturalnews.com in the output.

But, what i do really like about ixquick.com and startpage.com is that they have “proxy links” in the results to click on when you wish to then visit certain enemy websites (if it’s an enemy site, then google would never de-list it, so, it would always show up in startpage results).

have not used google in years there are so many BETTER ways to search. Ha! Google “don’t be evil”, was over long ago. You could not miss it during the last election cycle, when it shilled for Hillary……hiding her crimes……..under a special search formula.

People need to exercise their right not to use google, facebook and twitter. They are all liberal fascist tools being used to surveil, indoctrinate and eventually enslave the human mind. These demonic created globalist machine like entities are destroying free speech and critical thinking. What they have done to young people is a form of abuse.

As a society, when we make it the norm to become part of evil, we all eventually lose our soul and integrity. It all goes back to having a moral compass, we have lost it and it is going to be a tough and hard process to fully regain it.

I mean, do we all really believe the google search engine isn’t fixed and slanted. That twitter and facebook don’t censor speech which doesn’t jive with liberal propaganda? I mean come on, we are all adults here who use logic and critical thinking to come to conclusions. Time to stop “murdering” our souls. Following the crowd off a cliff was never a great idea.

Why is everything connected to google, facebook and twitter? I guess to create a liberal utopian world community that believes in tolerance and the open free exchange of ideas…. LMAO…

Hey Jon, send folks to Goodgopher.com or startpage.com, or ixquick.com All pretty good

Jon, does anybody with a blog or website have your permission to re-post this article along with the rest of your excellent content? We have to flood the internet with this information! Thank-you Dave Hodges!

  9. sirsasana says:

on duckduckgo.com naturalnews.com is fourth or fifth and on qwant number 1!
Why on earth people are still using google android windows apple, we just get what we deserve in the end. As we sow so we reap. Just a very … natural law.

  10. Bjorn Till says:

Truth is the greatest threat to the criminal globalists, remember. That’s why NaturalNews, InfoWars and lots of other honest providers of true information and solutions are being attacked.

  11. Greg C. says:

When Google’s slogan was “Do no evil” they must have meant it as a warning to others, but not applicable to themselves. Now, Natural News is to them evil, and must be dealt with. How convenient that Google has positioned itself to be an arbiter in these matters! No need to appeal to any higher authority. As the Church Lady used to say on SNL, “How conveeeeenient.”

    • jerzdebil says:

Company logos/mottos are ALWAYS outward facing, an identity to sell to the public. In this case it was clearly a message from a big brother funded spy operation.

  12. Pablo el Campecino says:

RED ALERT: “And Then They Came For Me”

It’s hard to overstate the pure evil and tyranny Google has engaged in by wiping NaturalNews.com off the internet. Not only has the attack on the free press and REAL NEWS been taken to the next level with this move, but this assault on FREE SPEECH will undoubtedly COST LIVES. The valuable catalog of information about health and wellness which Natural News provided, some 140,000 pages of articles and research have been scrubbed. As Mike Adams has said, this equates to a modern day book burning.

Time to vote with our feet. Duck duck Go has natural news as top pick when searched.

  14. Dana Doran says:

We all know that it’s censorship, period. It’s almost, if not equal to Facebook – Facebook now filters comments to show only hysterical liberal propaganda and name calling on any conservative post – so, I quit looking at my “home” page….which is mostly left leaning “suggested posts.” ha. Propaganda to encourage an “unaware and compliant citizenry.”

  15. There will be whole armies going through websites they don’t like or approve of to find a tiny bit of code they can use as an excuse. Awaiting the statement with bated breath….

  16. Celine Johnson says:

I decided to stop using google as my search engine two years ago. I now use http://www.startpage.com and I love it. If more people would boycott Google and use other search engines they wouldn’t get away with this nonsense.

    The SOLUTION is very simple!

    STOP USING GOOGLE AND FACEBOOK!

    Look at this S.E. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=“Natural+News”

And please, spare me of the BS talk of “We must speak, blabla…”

In today’s Society YOUR CHOICE is the thing that really matters! If you STOP USING GOOGLE AND FACEBOOK and the other services they provide, either they CHANGE, your simply disappear!

GOOGLE IS A LIAR? re delisting Natural News
Google claims that Natural News is using a “sneaky mobile redirect” […] That sounds pretty lame, but it suddenly hit me that six of my own websites have all had a drop in traffic and one of them had a backlink in a post I made on Natural News. Indeed, most of my traffic was coming from that post. Son of a gun, yes, some or all of those sites appear to have been delisted. The one in the Natural News Post was an expose of medical fraud, in particular an undeniable instance of vaccination fraud that injured thousands before it was quietly pulled from the market. That one was jointly perpetrated by Mayo Clinic, the CDC, Smith-Kline and Yale University.

There certainly are no sneaky redirects on any of those sites, they are as simple as you can get. But check out this one, a math theorem that was delisted. This isn’t a commercial site, nor is it sneaky in any way. it consists only of is a mundane math theorem. It has only four links which are biographies or obituaries to members of my graduate committee at Montana State University plus a statcounter button. I see it had a “Manual Review” which usually means that the delisting was the result of human intervention.

This one is a newer version of a website proving the same theorem, the only meaningful differences, aside being that the first one is HTML (not a flipbook) and hasn’t been delisted, is that at the end I recently slipped in a totally standard and common procedure called an ANOVA which in this case proves that Clinton did NOT receive a majority vote in the presidential election, at least not in the scientific, statistically significant sense. Even if the results were honest, they were not significantly different.

So that’s how it looks on my end. It was kind of nice to see these sites pop up now and then, but their only purpose was social edification. Both of these sites show up fine in Yahoo. You can SEE the math theorem here on Google cloud: […]. Guess this backlink won’t do it any good.
