The Matrix Revealed: revelations of a hypnotherapist

If there was any person worth talking to in depth about the Matrix and how to understand it, it was the most innovative hypnotherapist who ever lived, Jack True. He took all his experience with his clients and made enormous breakthroughs in un-hypnotizing people at very deep levels.

Jack was determined to find ways to show people how their own approach to reality was merging with the Matrix. He never tired of explaining his insights based on clinical experience.
Jack once told me a person had to be stimulated to pry open his own passive inclinations, in order to discover hidden energies and power. He was all about providing that stimulation, in the form of innovative and sometimes shocking ideas about reality and perception.

One night at dinner, Jack said, “If you take any fixation a person has, you are looking at a funeral ceremony for his own creative power. Suppose he’s fixated on money. Dig far enough into that, and you’ll find a brilliant artist who has innovative ideas about making money. It seems impossible, but it’s there. I’ve seen it many times. But you have to open up the whole area, not just a little bit. What you end up with is the blueprint for the formation of a problem. Where does a problem come from? It comes from deciding that your own creative approach to something is too radical. Then you try ‘the normal way’, and that doesn’t work for you. So it’s a problem now. You try to solve the problem and wrestle it to the ground. You can’t. You become fixated on the problem. That’s what happens to people. And to put the cherry on the cake, these people tell you they’re not creative. You can meditate for a thousand years and you won’t solve that. So we come to the question: why do people give up on their own creative power? That’s been the core of my practice for a long time. Unraveling that has been my life’s work.”
It was very good work. It was brilliant work. It was unparalleled work.

Joy aligned living is of a different order than the linear reality of a narrative control – so yes it is all about negative or invalidating beliefs that disqualify the native impulse – the true movement of your being. To align with that which holds your highest joy will of course meet those ‘obstructions’ – but in the context of an integrative willingness to uncover how they are part of your path – or they would not meet you. Without a core sense and acceptance of your own worth – you will always and reliably choose against your joy – so ANY willingness to align in the wholeness of your being helps remind and reconnect a true sense of worth and meaning that is directly felt – and extended by living from there as your truth – rather than a sense of lack, deprivation and denial that seeks it outside yourself – which reinforce the sense of lack and see others and your world through the lens of worthlessness aka ‘judgement’.
There are many ways to slice this – some feel for an indwelling Spirit, as the guide and support for an integrity of being and a coherence of experience and relationship. But living who we truly are is free of needing to change others or recruit support and self-validation. So a willingness to meet the true of another will bring forth that same self-honesty.
The mind seems to get in the way – as this ‘matrix’ of displacement and distortion – but only because at some level you are still getting something from this that you want more than what you say you want or don’t want to lose – such as “better the devil you know” – which is fear projecting into an unknown from a past you don’t want to relive.
But there is this – in opening our past – of conditioned beliefs and fears – we are never where we were when that pattern was set – we are in a different context – with some awareness and desire to heal – and a capacity for perspective and relationship with whatever comes up.
I haven’t got anything to sell or exchange for subsistence – I might think I should use writing to reach a ‘market’ or facilitate awakening in times of … awakening – but there is a freedom to ‘just because’. Joy in sharing that is no less and no more than being myself – and so free of the concept of separation that is implicit in any ‘should’ of sharing. Intimacy is not a transaction. Joy’s radiance is unselfconscious – spontaneous and free – even amidst the challenging – for you are IN your life totally and there is nothing lacking – in feeling and being all that is here that you are.
