Will California secede from the US? I hope so.

Not going to happen, but it’s interesting to imagine it.

Several groups in California are pushing for a ballot measure that, if passed, would allow the state’s voters to decide, in a direct referendum, whether to remain part of the US or become an independent country.

I’d like to see California secede, on the basis that they want a green economy and they want to “adjust” their immigration policies. It would be a sight to behold. Wide open borders and wind propellers everywhere. I’d give CA five years until total collapse.

It would be first state to secede and then beg to be let back into the country.

Its president, Jerry Brown, would release a statement: “This is a big oops. We miscalculated. It turns out we can’t afford open borders. And I’m not just talking about the upsurge in crime and terror attacks. The social services we provide all immigrants are overwhelming our institutions and our financial resources. No one wants to underwrite the loans we require. We’re screwed and we’re sorry. Please re-admit us to the Union. We need to become the biggest Welfare State in history right away.”

Yes, let’s see the green revolution and social justice play out on a large stage. Let’s see the consequences.

How about this potential news story: “Lawmakers in California have been exposed for lying about global warming in their new country. After spending several billion dollars they didn’t have, to put up a satellite to measure climate change, it turned out the reported numbers were fudged because, as one legislator stated (off the record): ‘What did you expect? The actual numbers showed there was no warming, but we couldn’t admit that. Are you kidding? After we spent six billion to get the figures, we ended up with zilch. It was a disaster. We had to lie, to protect the reputation of our new nation.”

The vice-president of California, Barbara Boxer, would announce: “The policy of forcing two women into top executive positions at our major corporations for every man has failed. Corporate warfare has broken out. In boardrooms across the state, a poisonous atmosphere prevails. We must backtrack and reconsider.”

Several pro-immigration groups would issue a joint statement: “Consequences are irrelevant. The point is, this is a battle to take back California for Mexico. Our whole goal is extending the nation of Mexico to the north, and nothing will stop us. Anyone living in the nation of California who isn’t a Mexican is an illegal. We’re righting a wrong, and that’s all that matters. Our Treasury must replace dollars with pesos, and it must issue as many trillions as necessary to give our people a free standard of living.”

The California Dept. of Energy would release a new regulation: “In view of the current energy shortages, our Weather Control Department is hereby empowered to create continuous massive storms, in order to dramatically increase air flow for our wind power installations.”

And then there would be this, from the California Dept. of the Environment: “A new tiny species of fish, slightly larger than a bacterium, has been discovered along our shores, as well as in rivers and streams. In order to protect the BX-2-S-V fish, all flow of water (including desalination) from these bodies of water into farms is hereby canceled, until long-term studies on the threat to the BX-2-S-V’s survival can be established…”

Exit From the Matrix

(To read about Jon’s mega-collection, Exit From The Matrix, click here.)

Yes, it would be a real party.

The businesses that would expand? Underground bunker building for super-wealthy Silicon Valley and Hollywood moguls, and armed security services.

And oh yes: California’s government-owned vaccine manufacturer would take off like a rocket, because according to new laws, every resident of the state would be forced to endure shots of 58 vaccines. Failure to comply would be met with a three-year sentence at a marijuana-growing work camp in Humboldt, presided over by Sinaloa Cartel muscle. Sinaloa, of course, would be the biggest corporation in the new nation.

Its chief, Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, who escaped jail in Mexico 47 times, would live in a walled compound that covers a third of the city of Sacramento. He would be California’s Secretary of Defense.

Yes, this west coast nation would put on quite a show.

There may be some hope for the 21 counties that comprise Northern California… that they form into a separate state and remain in the Union…

Theodore, I live in Sonoma County, but a friend who lives up north says that the State of Jefferson won’t happen because, she says, “we have all the water up here. Sacramento will never allow us to form our own state.”

        • Theodore says:

          Hi Marilyn,

The Honorable Citizens of the counties comprising Jefferson should force the so-called ‘water’ issue…

The Sacramento apparatchiks can geo-engineer/chemtrail to make rain storms to make their own water. Or, they can harvest sea water from the ocean and desalinize it.

    • oilindustrysolutions says:

The best part of California leaving is the Democrats lose two senators, a whole bunch of electoral collage delegates and a pretty good handful of Congressmen. Translation, the Democratic Party is dead in the USA’s remaining 49 states.

I vote for Cal to go and adios.

      • Stupidpeoplehater says:

Yes and can we please banish all of the gays, transgenders, pedophiles, people who don’t know what sex they are, people who are too poor to buy birth control and expect tax payers to fund their sex life, all the ones who use abortion as birth control, and all the other freaks to the new country of California? They would be very much at home there I’m sure!

    • Vietvet68 says:

Texas whined and cried about leaving when Obama was President. They never did. They loved all those federal dollars they would lose. Calif. won’t leave….they will stay to fight the fascist.

      • arcadia11 says:

        i’ll be there too : – }

      • John says:

One thing liberals can’t comprehend is that the government doesn’t give anybody anything. The government especially the federal government just redistributes tax dollars.

Under the Obama post-constitutional tyranny, the federal government basically withheld federal funding to states unless they went along with his Marxist/Globalist agenda. One could say it was a form of bribery.

How else could countless EPA regulations pass, the Common Core agenda thrive without federal money. Money consisting of tax dollars not going where the people desire it to go but rather going to a radical Marxist/Globalist agenda.

Money/tax dollars belonging to the people and the people living in various states. Money high jacked from hard working tax payers.

The jig is up, the only fascism today is liberal fascism, there is no compromise, no firm grasp on reality.

I laugh when people say Obama and or the government “give” people money or free stuff. It is really outrageous to come to such a preposterous conclusion. Nothing is free. The government and politicians basically steal money from people and then they get certain idiots to believe they are “giving” them their own money back. Talk about twisted logic.

        • Stupidpeoplehater says:

You and I seem to be the only ones who realize this fact. Also how can the governments think that they own any public lands when in fact it is the tax payer dollars that keep these places up?

They act like they own our money, our land, and they treat us like slaves. I for one am sick of it.

      • Marilyn Guinnane says:

So the sheeple are buying the ‘fascist’ b.s. spewed out by the whore press, hmmm?. More’s the pity, Vietvet68. Didn’t that phony Viet Nam war teach you to think for yourself?

    • Marilyn Guinnane says:

Kind sir, as a native of California, and a conservative no less, I take exception to all the hatred meted our way and in a steady stream. It’s unwarranted and therefore unfair. And do remember, CA is the breadbasket of the nation. Thank you.

      • JustStat says:

I think you need a lesson in geography. The region of the United States that is called the “breadbasket” is the Great Plains. The Great Plains lie east of the Rocky Mountains and west of the Mississippi River. The region is famous for its grain and corn production.

        • Marilyn Guinnane says:

JustStat, CA has long been termed the breadbasket of the nation because we supply America with most of your foodstuffs. Lettuce, tomatoes, rice, avacados, raisins, apples, almonds, walnuts, peaches, pears, nectarines, grapes (& wine), broccoli, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and so on and so forth. Would you really like to try living on wheat and corn alone? Whatever would you do without us? What if California seceded and, because we have long been treated with such scorn by the rest of you, we decided to simply sell to China and Russia and Europe? The secession movement existed long before this last election and I think it’s because the human beings who dwell in my fair state have had it up to here with the mud slinging that is directed our way. (I’ve heard, by the way, the Great Plains referred to as the breadbasket of the nation, but that term was used for CA long before someone decided it better applied to where bread sort of comes from. I was born in the 40s and all my life CA was called the breadbasket of the nation. So no, JustStat [why don’t people use their own names in these posts?] I do not need a geography lesson, thank you.)

          • taminator013 says:

Let California leave the Union. Cut off all the water that is siphoned off from other states and see how much food is grown there then. I grow pretty much all the vegetables that you have on your list in PA. Most pears grow better in other states. The apples that I buy come from either PA or Washington state. Peaches and nectarines from Georgia. I also do have my own nectarine tree, thank you. New York wine is fine by me. Rice from Louisiana. I only like seedless, green table grapes. I grow a variety myself called Hope that was bred for cultivation in my area. I like raisins, but it wouldn’t kill me to do without them if they could only be made from CA grapes, which is doubtful. And I hate avocadoes. So in closing: Don’t let the doorknob hit you where the good Lord split you……………………….

          • taminator013 says:

Sorry, Marilyn. Nothing personal against you. We need many more people with your morals and conservative politics in your beautiful state. Sometimes I forget that there are actually good people there, too. Just my little morning rant before the coffee kicks in…………..

  2. khaching says:

I hope not … I live here. I want to be part of the USA … I would have to go somewhere else …

    • arcadia11 says:

i live in ca and i too feel grateful every day for the
beauty, the animals, the weather before chemtrails
and haarp, etc. if california wants to secede to move
to voluntaryism i would be quite happy to be a part of
that – but it is moving toward deeper collectivism
via agenda 21. the degrades are banking on ‘as
california goes so goes the rest of the nation’. there
are many people here who are against this – who have
worked long and hard to stop it. it sometimes seems
as if the rest of the country forgets that.

if i lived elsewhere i would feel sad that such a great
state, 5th largest economy, supplier of food for the rest
of the nation, stunning coastline, high animal consciousness,
majestic mountain ranges, quaint colorful towns and people
and so much more, was in danger of going under. as
i live here and do not want, at this time, to live anywhere else
it is even more sad for me.

new york and california are the least free states in the nation.
they are also the most important conquests for the degrades.
that is why both states have been majorly collectivized. it is
not for want of trying on the parts of a great many sane
      individuals.

    California Dreamin’ bout secession ? Here’s a preview….Dave B.

  4. Eduardo the Magnificent says:

I’d let them secede under one condition: anyone who’s a citizen of California at the time of secession cannot have dual citizenship with the US, and cannot apply for US citizenship for 20 years. That’ll keep the parasites from moving back here once the place goes to hell.

  5. Marilyn Guinnane says:

My ancestors on both sides of my family migrated to California by wagon train, with the exception of the seafaring Guinnanes who came by sailing ship, around the horn. I spent my life being grateful to my ancestors for settling here, because California is so incredibly beautiful and diverse, I always felt like one of the luckiest people alive. Still, when the Bush Crime Family essentially ruled America, I had hoped California would secede from the union, as I wanted no part of their agenda. When the Clinton Crime Family plunked their sorry asses in the White House, I hoped and prayed for California to secede, as well. My prayers doubled during the Obama nightmarish regime that lasted eight horrid years. Then, lo ! We Americans managed to elect a real human being instead of a reptile to hold court in the Oval Office and for the first time in what seems like forever, I was thrilled down to my socks. My God, a real president ! A swamp draining president, no less. Proving that liberals, who unfortunately have overrun my home state, have no sense whatsoever, NOW they want to secede. No, you morons. We do not need to secede any longer. Wake up ! The Pacific Ocean is mighty handy; bundle up the Democrat Party and toss it into the vast Pacific, first placing rocks in the shroud so that it sinks. Donald Trump will undoubtedly unravel all the harm that has been done to America, and California is part of America—whether the rest of the people in this country like it or not.

    • dunc says:

thanks soo much for keeping the flame burning ..bravo!! i hope your hope becomes reality..CA was created by the creative spirit of the individual .so was much of the gorgeous west..CA.politically is obscene and corrupt..fast track to agenda 21

      • Marilyn Guinnane says:

Thank you for your reply, dunc. I think you’re right and I think it’s imperative that Agenda 21 gets axed. God bless you. M.

  6. Bunny says:

CA has the largest economy in the US, so it would hurt the rest of the country not California.
Also CORPORATE welfare in the US (federal) is 5 times greater than welfare for actual people…and that is usually the case for corporate state welfare as well.

Take here in WA state where welfare queen Boeing threatened and strong armed legislators into giving them a 12 billion dollar tax break that was ripped from the education budget (bear in mind that Boeing pays zero federal taxes and in fact gets a huge mount of money from the federal government)…So now all the teachers are screaming about getting raises..and the state is trying to raise our taxes to pay for the shortfall left by the Boeing welfare queen handout.

I used to teach calculus for my stipend at university as well as running my own tutoring business in university level physics and math, and it never ceased to amaze me that kids coming in from high school could barely read, let alone do fractions…that is how good our teachers are their minds completely scrambled with useless idiotic psychology theory which has been failing for 50 years.
I remember being back in high school many decades ago. I had always been an avid reader and never really had to worry about book reports, so when I turned in a report on Dorian Gray which I had read years previously, the English teacher called the principle and my parents claiming I was cheating because she had never heard of the book…this along with an algebra teacher who couldn’t do algebra..i spent a lot of time in the library trying to avoid school..and doing what I love- reading.

Be that as it may, Corporatization has destroyed this country..Corporations have rights and privileges under law that the rest of us actual people DO NOT enjoy..things like immortality, and zero liability, which is why they murder and destroy other people’s property with impunity.

  9. John says:

The state of California seceded from common sense, logic and reality quite awhile ago. The delusional extremist liberal fanatics who run California have bankrupted that state morally, fiscally and factually, it is beyond repair. Jerry Brown is the poster boy for illogic.

Liberalism does not care about self-destruction, to some it might be considered a cult akin to “straight ahead into brick walls insanity.” The ideology though can no longer be given a pass as a mental disorder, it is now just pure evil. It is destroying this nation and we all let it happen.

But I digress, it has to be the Russians fault…

what will happen . And it is a real possibility., face it. No one can fight the power of nature in action.

    • Marilyn Guinnane says:

That was a harsh and cruel thing to say, Quebec. KARMA !

    • Adam Evenson says:

  11. Kali-fornia, thee place to be. Actually I’m shocked and amazed, all at the same time that y’all haven’t succeeded already. Your big enough…what wrong. Got those succession blues?

I mean…look at ya…the highest population for a state in the USA; and that is a two-fold statement. A population of 40 million..wowser. That’s the total; plus some population of Canada…

I hear you have your own state reptile, the desert tortoise. Insect; the California Dogfaced Butterfly; your own state grass; purple needle grass, lol, another double entendre. And of course your own tree, I’ll let you guess that one…it’s really big.

I was simply astounded to find California has its own tartan. my good gosh. Your own dance, your own fossil, your own rock and folk dance, gemstone and soil, you have your own colors and motto, your own nickname and song. You’re the sixth largest economy in the world. And a little known fact about California, you have the most idiots…I am sorry to say that but the stats don’t lie…really they don’t. Schmoogle it..

There are more idiots in California, than anywhere in the world. Even in lowly Kusdstopistan; which has 6.1 idiots per every ten people. California tops that, with an over the top, 6.9 idiots per 10 humans living in California. So, if you are not an idiot the seven people standing around you quite possibly could be…might be…so, start looking at those passer-bys, a little more closely Californians.

It’s not a completely bad thing to have the most idiots, everything has a flaw. Man can’t fly; toast is always going to land butter side down; California has a lot of idiots. we accept things like that. We don’t like; it gives us an icky feeling; we get triggered; but still, reality is reality.

Now interesting enough you have your own state idiot; and, coincidently, and I didn’t know this, and upon checking I found out it’s true, your state idiot is a man named Jerry Brown. He’s your Governor.

On the idiot scale; and there is one. Jerry Brown is a classic idiot, meaning he will never discover how much of an idiot he really is…whereas other idiots wake up to the fact that they are idiots and can achieve some semblance of a fairly normal life after that terrible discovery. Jerry, being in the not so populated, classic idiot category is always going to say the wrong thing at the wrong time, and back the wrong government programs. Jerry it seems, is suspected; and may not be a completely a classic idiot, but, could quite possibly be a hybrid of the classic idiot and , just-plain-old-run of the mill-fucking-stupid.

So Californians revel in the fact that you are a microcosm, of the great macrocosm…plus a lot of idiots. Your a one of kind, god bless your little idiot hearts.

  13. It’s always the old “one two”, Jon.

Global warming fraud is the tip of a giant ice mound the size of Mount Everest.

    Take the moon…..

“I have been known to use a tongue-in-cheek moon analogy from time to time. Were Earth astronauts to have actually walked on the moon, they must have met with red and black dragons. Of course my educated readers will instinctively cry foul. You “know” what I’ve said is preposterous; red and black dragons on the moon? Of all things! There is a mile long paper chain detailing the astronauts’ numerous trips to the celestial body and at least one government sponsored film of the surface landing. It would also be ridiculous to say mythical creatures live there, particularly when any sane individual can see from Mars “evidence” that all extra-terrestrial life forms are identically similar to ones found on Earth.

Actually that’s the fantasy. The truth is numerous aspersions of doubt have been cast on all moon visitations. The movie(s) has attracted volumes of critics. None of the glaring anomalies have been scientifically explained well enough by authorities, as many have been countered with generalities or incompatible modelling comparisons. Conclusively, therefore, until proven otherwise, the “moon films” were produced on Earth, perhaps even by Stanley Kubrick. Reasoning for the subterfuge might vary. Perhaps the astronauts went to the moon but found the possibility of landing and/or filming impossible, or maybe the boffins miscalculated and transmissions generated a signal too poor for uninterrupted television streaming. Alternatively, the planners may have figured the whole project was a disaster waiting to happen, so staged the whole thing in the interests of much more effective “PR”. That would be fine, but why were the moon rocks fakes too?

NASA has been very much dragged under the spotlight by the way they have handled the moon landings criticisms, more too by the way they have irrationally tried to deflect criticism. At times their responses have been so garbled they could only be judged as gibberish; hardly a good image builder for the supposed greatest science agency – ever. Rather amusingly I often feel they have gone one better than a [channelled] reptilian philosopher (who will confidently spew seemed utter nonsense to human logic). For prosperity “Never A Straight Answer” has been NASA’s posthumous accolade with some critical thinkers viewing it as the single most ineptly corrupt of all government agencies. Mars invites scrutiny. NASA sponsored the rover; new tricks by the same old dogs? Given the moon evidence, the only question that needs asking is “where on Earth”? Perhaps high up on the Rocky Mountains (given the terrain) is favourable, but other fingers point to uncharted Antarctica. When life forms “discovered on Mars” are consistently Earth like, the evidence dictates that they all originate from Earth….”

All the same, being a conservative American patriot, if California desires to secede, I will support that so as to save the other 49 states from being dragged into the abyss of lib’relism California breeds.

  17. greg says:

Ever hear of gerrymandering, It is what happened to Ca and changed a conservative state into what it has become. Most people in Ca. get very little voice of what goes on here. Most policy is made in the L.A., San Diego and the bay area (i.e San Fransisco) of the state. geographically those areas combined make up only maybe 30% of the state, remember Ca. is a big state. The rest of Ca and it’s population suffers and are in constant strife with the before mentioned. That is why in Northern Ca. there is a very strong and popular movement to break away from rest of CA. and to become their own state. So if you are one of those ignorant people that believe that all of ca in a liberal bastion. You are far mistaken. I suggest turning off the T.V and doing some research of you won.. After all most of the people that tell you CA. is a liberal state are the ones that told you that Trump couldn’t get elected.

“California filled with Liberals full of Satanic Clubs under the Music Industry, Hollywood, and Politics.” Koolz, listen to yourself ! Are Americans so uneducated that they really think that California is comprised of a giant HOLLYWOOD, that holds such sway over the rest of us that our everyday American towns are riddled with Satanists? Do you honestly believe that CA is in charge of chemtrails, that control the weather?! And all the rest of what you wrote; re-read it. Maybe you should come here and lose yourself for a time in a redwood forest, take a stroll along the shoreline of Lake Tahoe, take a trip to Death Valley and absorb the still beauty of the place. Visit a small town in Sonoma County—the town of Sonoma, say—and feel the friendliness of the people while you enjoy the 19th century feel of that wonderful town. You’ll feel chagrined that you made such tacky comments then. I should hope.

California consists of some 102 million acres of land, 93 million acres of federal lands and about 9 million acres of state lands.

About 48% of its population live in three metropolitan areas; Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego; about 450 thousand acres of state lands. Fifty two percent live on some 8.55 million acres of state lands.

It remains to be seen how California’s secessionist group could govern such disparate populations as Silicon Valley vs. Central Valley in a fragmented area of state lands independent of 93 million acres of federal lands.

Having grown up there and having two daughters that still live there, I doubt very seriously that they’ll “officially” secede. I thank God every day that I no longer live there. That is a real shame, as it was great growing up there until the Ronnie Ray-Gun era. It all started circling the bowl then. It’s been one giant “flush” ever since.

It is currently a political toilet. It is also a dangerous, over taxed, over regulated cultural wasteland. I would not live there again for any amount of money. It is a living testament to the ability of politicians and their owners to utterly destroy something good.

It is impossible to “fix”. It could only be “fixed” if it were totally destroyed first. It is well on its way.

Jon, I don’t like “lifting” too much of any writers postings. I prefer to quote a sample and refer people. In the case of this particular post, I’ve had to quote the lot!

It sums up the retreat to adolescence world we now live in – all the way down to tattoos and body-piercing.
I’d like to run away too – but I’m already living at the end of the world in Oz…………

CalExit is Adding Key Members of the Obama Administration

The horse’s head has reared its head in California. The drug cartels have begun to leave dead animals (e.g. dead rabbits) on the front porches of the officials who are being the State of Jefferson movement. The State of Jefferson movement is a political effort for several counties from Northern California and Southern Oregon to form a 51st state [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jefferson_(proposed_Pacific_state) ]. The effort is legal and stands an excellent chance of happening. However, this movement flies in the face of the CALEXIT movement. Therefore, the underworld affiliates behind Governor Brown’s treasonous plan have begun the first wave of a reign of terror against these officials. I look for the level of violence to increase as the Jefferson movement gains more momentum. In light of these revelations, one can clearly see that California is clearly a Marxist state that is controlled by organized crime figures, both domestic and foreign.

California’s independence movement faces long odds. A petition to remove a phrase that calls California “inseparable part of the nation” will need enough signatures to put the issue on the ballot in November 2018. If the ballot measure succeeds, then a special election on the issue would be held in March 2019. After that, secession would still require the agreement of Congress and 38 states, the Monitor reported in November.
