—Some of the greatest illusions are sitting out in the open. They are bypassed for two reasons. People refuse to believe they are illusions, despite the abundant evidence; and the professionals dedicated to upholding the illusions continue their work as if nothing at all has been exposed.

Medical journalists in the mainstream rely completely on studies published in prestigious journals.

This the rock. This is the science.

This is also the source of doctors’ authoritarian and arrogant advice to patients.

“Studies show…”

Well, that wraps it up. Nothing else to prove. The studies in the journals are the final word.

Medical reporters base their entire careers on these published reports.

But what if higher authorities contradicted all these studies? What if they scrutinized more studies than any reporter or doctor possibly could…and came to a shocking and opposite conclusion?

This very thing has happened. And the conclusions have been published. But medical reporters ignore them and go their merry way, as if a vast pillar of modern medicine is still intact…when it isn’t, when it has been decimated.

Buckle up.

Let us begin with a statement made by Dr. Marcia Angell, the former editor of The New England Journal of Medicine, perhaps the most prestigious medical journal in the world—a journal that routinely vets and prints thousands of medical studies:

“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.” —Marcia Angell, MD, The New York Review of Books, January 15, 2009

You might want to read that statement several times, to savor its full impact. Then proceed to this next one, penned by the editor of The Lancet, another elite and time-honored medical journal that publishes medical studies:

Richard Horton, editor-in-chief, The Lancet, in The Lancet, 11 April, 2015, Vol 385, “Offline: What is medicine’s 5 sigma?”

“The case against science is straightforward: much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue. Afflicted by studies with small sample sizes, tiny effects, invalid exploratory analyses, and flagrant conflicts of interest, together with an obsession for pursuing fashionable trends of dubious importance, science has taken a turn towards darkness…

“The apparent endemicity of bad research behaviour is alarming. In their quest for telling a compelling story, scientists too often sculpt data to fit their preferred theory of the world. Or they retrofit hypotheses to fit their data. Journal editors deserve their fair share of criticism too. We aid and abet the worst behaviours. Our acquiescence to the impact factor fuels an unhealthy competition to win a place in a select few journals. Our love of ‘significance’ pollutes the literature with many a statistical fairy-tale…Journals are not the only miscreants. Universities are in a perpetual struggle for money and talent…”

Still standing? Here are several more statements. They are devastating.

The NY Review of Books (May 12, 2011), Helen Epstein, “Flu Warning: Beware the Drug Companies”:

“Six years ago, John Ioannidis, a professor of epidemiology at the University of Ioannina School of Medicine in Greece, found that nearly half of published articles in scientific journals contained findings that were false, in the sense that independent researchers couldn’t replicate them. The problem is particularly widespread in medical research, where peer-reviewed articles in medical journals can be crucial in influencing multimillion- and sometimes multibillion-dollar spending decisions. It would be surprising if conflicts of interest did not sometimes compromise editorial neutrality, and in the case of medical research, the sources of bias are obvious. Most medical journals receive half or more of their income from pharmaceutical company advertising and reprint orders, and dozens of others [journals] are owned by companies like Wolters Kluwer, a medical publisher that also provides marketing services to the pharmaceutical industry.”

Here’s another quote from the same article:

“The FDA also relies increasingly upon fees and other payments from the pharmaceutical companies whose products the agency is supposed to regulate. This could contribute to the growing number of scandals in which the dangers of widely prescribed drugs have been discovered too late. Last year, GlaxoSmithKline’s diabetes drug Avandia was linked to thousands of heart attacks, and earlier in the decade, the company’s antidepressant Paxil was discovered to exacerbate the risk of suicide in young people. Merck’s painkiller Vioxx was also linked to thousands of heart disease deaths. In each case, the scientific literature gave little hint of these dangers. The companies have agreed to pay settlements in class action lawsuits amounting to far less than the profits the drugs earned on the market. These precedents could be creating incentives for reduced vigilance concerning the side effects of prescription drugs in general.”

Also from the NY Review of Books, here are two more quotes from Marcia Angell, former editor-in-chief of The New England Journal of Medicine (“Drug Companies and Doctors: A Story of Corruption”):

“Consider the clinical trials by which drugs are tested in human subjects. Before a new drug can enter the market, its manufacturer must sponsor clinical trials to show the Food and Drug Administration that the drug is safe and effective, usually as compared with a placebo or dummy pill. The results of all the (there may be many) are submitted to the FDA, and if one or two trials are positive—that is, they show effectiveness without serious risk—the drug is usually approved, even if all the other trials are negative.”

Here is another Angell statement:

“In view of this control and the conflicts of interest that permeate the enterprise, it is not surprising that industry-sponsored trials published in medical journals consistently favor sponsors’ drugs—largely because negative results are not published, positive results are repeatedly published in slightly different forms, and a positive spin is put on even negative results. A review of seventy-four clinical trials of antidepressants, for example, found that thirty-seven of thirty-eight positive studies were published. But of the thirty-six negative studies, thirty-three were either not published or published in a form that conveyed a positive outcome.”

The Matrix Revealed

If you have the patience to read and re-read these statements, you’ll see they are marking out a scandal of scandals—the entirety of medical literature is a pipeline for deep fraud.

Citing with confidence a study on a drug, for example, would carry no more weight than an article about a celebrity in a gossip rag.

But medical reporters must pretend their sources are correct. It’s their job. If they reject published studies, they have nothing left—except to expose the giant scandal I’m outlining in this article. Biting the hand that feeds them would put them out of work. They’d end up writing about picnics for some local paper—if they were lucky.

However, that’s not my problem or yours. It’s theirs. They chose their profession.

We can settle on the truth. We can even spread it.

Why not?

I wish you would have included the fact that Big Pharma’s “research” is done on animals, and that because of differences in physiology, metabolism, bio chemistry and genetics, extrapolations between species is scientifically impossible, rendering their drug testing meaningless since it can be skewed to show anything the “scientists” want to show. Vivisection is the cornerstone of the petrochemical/pharmaceutical industry. It needs to be debunked in no uncertain terms.

    • arcadia11 says:

      thank you, britt.
for the animals and the humans.

    • Sue says:

The corruption goes so deep, I’m not even sure that some of us, who believe we’ve seen it all, have even seen a fraction of it. I just finished watching two documentaries presented by Liberty Beacon on child trafficking rings in high places, involving politicians and other “VIP”s – one of those documentaries was set to be shown on the Discovery Channel in May of 1994, but members of Congress pressured the channel to not show it, and to destroy all copies.

I’ve known, from the time I first became aware of vivisection, that it is a form of stunted intellect at best, and perverse sadism at worst – masquerading as great and noble “science.” And, unfortunately, there are so many out there who will accept ANYTHING, no matter HOW HEINOUS it is, as long as promised by the “authorities” that it will somehow benefit them and theirs.

It has gotten to the point where I feel that this world IS run by demons, and getting rid of them is not something we can do without help from a higher power.

Amen- it is reprehensible what is being done to animals not only in research but in the factory farms as well

This phenomenon is endemic in many “journalists” including bloggers. Twain wrote “You tell me whar a man gits his corn pone, en I’ll tell you what his ‘pinions is.” Upton Sinclair wrote: “It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.”
My friend, editor of a large metro newspaper loves to rant about right – left politics, it’s his bread and butter you might say; he cannot concede that there’s no difference between the two and is in reality it’s all a charade.
I read legal scholars blogging about the constitution, with nary a discussion of the issue of the original US constitution morphing into a corporate constitution that no longer applies to “we the people”, let alone whether the constitution is even relevant given the often”pretzel” logic of politically appointed/controlled courts.
And so it goes, careerists heavily invested in the “old” paradigms, ignoring “in your face” truths, praying to make it to the finish line with their reputations and pensions intact.
    So sad, so human…

    • Greg C. says:

IMNAHA: Yep, it’s the career mentality that holds it all together. We need to stop preparing children for corporate careers, and instead prepare them for life. They’ll be happier, independent, and more connected with the real world. Mark Twain also said, “I have never let my schooling interfere with my education.” He left school after 5th grade and started his apprenticeship with a printer. Schooling is now all about creating an army of like-minded, obedient employees and citizens, who are trained to consume information without thinking.

I’ve always been suspicious of the flu vaccinations, it’s as if they create the virus and then use scare tactics to fear monger people into getting the poison that they produce.
I’m not big on doctors or “legal drug pushers” and only have taken antibiotics twice in the last 15 years.
I will share the link to this article on my FB page in hopes that we can enlighten others.
It’s a hard road to wake people up to the magnitude of corruption going on around them.

    • Sunshine says:

It took me a couple of years to finally accept the depth of the corruption. I’ve read read what Jon wrote about today from other sources a good while back, and much more. The road block for me was accepting that this blatant corruption from all fronts is intentional.
It’s almost incomprehensible that such evil exists. Once I accepted it the curtain fell away and I was able to find myself again. It sounds odd, I know, to lose oneself. I guess the conflict between learning truths but holding onto my belief that the world can’t be this evil trapped me. I wasn’t able to trust my thought processes or something.

I think that even when presented the facts most people are like this. They can’t believe the government would allow cancer and autoimmune causing toxins in our food and water. After all, they’re busy fighting cancer, right?

      • Greg C. says:

Sunshine: You get to really know yourself when you go through that process. For me, 9/11 truth was the big one. Took me at least a year to get past the shock. Normalcy bias – we want normalcy more than the truth. Especially about people who are in charge and running things. Of course, they rely on this bias for their cover.

  6. Alan Roy says:

In 1980, after suffering since 1969, I went in desperation to a Great Falls hospital hoping to get imaging and any other diagnostics on my sinuses, site of the most prominent symptoms. These were refused. Instead, I was locked up for a week where repeat attempts were also ignored. Finally, was told that I was suffering from manic depression (now bipolar) and told I could leave. This incident cost me my career, home, respect, everything… Over the years I saw roughly two dozen more MDs. Suspicious about the sinus put off, It wasn’t until 2000 that I could verify that 90% of the diagnosed mentally ill are suffering from sinusitis, not the runny nose kind, but in my case a large nasal cyst and gross swelling of the maxillary lining. As a test, I tried several times to get diagnostics, most often being refused, but in one case scoring an MRI that revealed this in stark detail with a technician report describing extensive diseased tissue. The MD abruptly refused to submit to insurance, plainly lying about the reason. During the next appointments he ignored the sinus issue and began giving me written multiple choice tests designed to support a case of bipolar disorder. I had to pay for the MRI to get a copy. Several more MDs followed, all refusing again to give diagnostics. Finally, after enduing a great deal of derision and put-offs, I made it to the Mayo Clinic for imaging that cost $6,000. Most of the imaging was botched, but one CAT scan verified the previous MRI. Five MDs, however, insisted this was asymptomatic and made clear hints that it was a mental disorder curable with psychoactives.

By that time, my wife had been destroyed from similar symptoms while I’d managed a fair recovery using large amounts of vitamin B. Our three children were also born with marked congenital issues and a range of similar symptoms. By now, they have been completely destroyed. They will never have families or jobs. By 2014 it became 100% clear to me that the cause was a bacteria. I’d suspected this all along, of course, but the put-offs by MDs were enough to keep me off the trail. How is it possible that 800,000 MDs would all deliberately avoid necessary diagnostics and try to pin a bipolar diagnosis based only on sinusitis symptoms? The answer is that they are owned by the government and pharma companies. Their standard operating procedures are dictated by the brotherhood, and heavy, recurring commissions are received from drugs, especially psychoactives. It wasn’t until early this 2016 when the infection took out several teeth, that I began taking a closer look. At first, I figured MRSA, became that disease is generally acquired directly due to medical negligence. The problem was that there had to be millions of victims. Finally, I went back and studied chronic Lyme disease. There I found irrefutable proof of massive fraud perpetrated knowingly by the CDC, Mayo Clinic, Yale University and Smith-Kline related to a bogus Lyme vaccine and also massive coverup of the disease itself. Most victims, many while losing their careers and homes, are carelessly misdiagnosed with mental illnesses, MS, fibromyalgia, Alzheimer’s, chronic fatigue syndrome, etc. And so the game goes. Right now I’m getting tooth implants which luckily I can afford, and have also been fortunate to find that concentrated star anise has eliminated most of the disease after 47 years. I’m the lucky one, but few others, including my three children, will ever recover or find effective treatment due to very active efforts by medical and government personnel to obstruct efforts to find out what was wrong with them. For those further interested in how all this took place, you can read my book at: http://lymediseasefraud.com

Wow! you have been through the wringer! You probably know about oregano oil as an antibiotic.

I had so very many bad experiences with doctors (and dentists) as a child that as an adult i have steered clear of them.
They have not only been dead WRONG but are actually dangerous. They gave me a vaccine which reluted in med nearly dying as an infant, then shot me up with tetracycline resulting in very bad food allergies. The idiot MD told me mother i would outgrow them.

I spent most of my childhood in a tired daze. The government had told my mother how wonderful and healthful powdered milk was for children. As a chilkd, I suffered from constant nasal congestion , sinus infections, and occasionally boils.

As a teen i was “allergy tested” by an MD who insisted i was NOT allergic to milk. Further he insisted i was “hypoglycemic” As an adult i stopped drinking Milk (and stopped all dairy), Stopped eating wheat, soy, and corn derivatives and VIOLA! the congestion cleared.

To this day the idiot MDs insist that food could not possibly be a problem it is all in my head..blahblahblah.
I have also had them tell me they could do nothing for minor complaints which i ended up finding out how to fix myself.

My mother was always running to the doctor at the drop of a hat..and her health deteriorated very quickly after she reached 50. I on the other hand refuse to go near these quacks.

  7. lordwindemere says:

As far a published studies goes, I think the older they are the more believable.

The least believable category is of course the drug studies.

The food and nutrition studies are more believable. Some of these researchers are on our side. The field of toxicology presents wonderful information, and there are many chemists and toxicologists who warn about mercury and aluminum in vaccines.

There are over a dozen studies on bromopyruvate and methyglyoxal treating cancer with alarming success rates. These chemicals are so cheap and unpatentable that they will never find a place in the mainstream cancer industry.

The best cancer cures are cheap. It has always been this way and always will. The cancer industry works like carnival hucksters. They just try to shock and awe you with their cool toys.

Oncology owes all of it’s prestige to physicists who invented NMR imaging, ESR imaging, Ultrasound, and X-ray imaging.

The imaging is awesome but the drugs do more harm than good.

They cannot have an effective cure. You will never even have a 50:50 chance of survival with them. If an effective treatment were made known, even if it were controlled by Phizer, the public would lose their fear of cancer.

The fear of cancer is what empties wallets. It has been known since the 60’s that cancer patients who don’t receive allopathic treatment actually live longer.

This is how syphillis worked. Once someone was “diagnosed”, they were fed calomel (mercury chloride). This substance caused a slow poisoning and led to tertiary syphillis (mercury poisoning), which was so terrible in its presentation that people were made horrified of syphillis (mercury poisoning). This fear effectively drained each new patient of their money and their health.

This is a weird sort of con; where they blame the drugs side-effects on the disease itself.

Many cancer patients actually die of chemical poisoning while the cheap and effective alternatives are perpetually ridiculed by the AMA and their minions.

Exotic sports cars and ski trips are bought with the misfourtune of others. This is the Rockefeller Way. The AMAs two greatest weapons are fear and ignorance. Educate yourself so you don’t fall prey to the cancer death machine.

  8. mteresh says:

Not only medical journalism, but the medical text books for colleges are a complete fraud. It’s an outdated obsolete “science” containing advice that if used would produce more sick babies, more autistic and otherwise chronically sick children and adults, and more morbidity and mortality.

It’s hard to believe they are written by authors who graduated from colleges where they’ve studied in-depth biology, biochemistry, physiology, metabolic processes, etc. I doubt they ever heard about “do not harm”, “do not lie”, “do not kill.”

The data in them is a complete lack of logic and common sense in the way they “view” and “interpret” the results / observations of their research and studies. It’s ridiculous and it’s aimed for the majority of high-school graduates who totally lack brain, ability to think deeply, and to ask questions.

These “science” books sound as is someone like Rockefeller or Soros, or Rothschild or alike are sponsoring their very “specific” content that would profit just BIG PHARMA and/or BIOTECH or alike on the expense of the health and lives of unfortunate public.

  9. AB says:

Shadow writing by paid trained journalists acting as ‘editors’ is increasingly used at the highest levels to publish scientific journals for and with a group of scientists from prestigious institutions. We see this alot with clinical drug and vaccine trials. Study manuscripts, and disturbingly findings, get massaged at many levels by various stakeholders before they even reach publication. The argument is that the articles must be ‘dumbed’ down and written in plain language so a lay audience can read the article. However, this is the point where white washing can and does occur. this adds to the problem of credibility. The researchers who carried out the study get so beat down during the process, they will eventually give up or compromise so much, the article may morph into something completely foreign to what was intended. We see this especially in situations where corporate interests are funding the scientific research.

  10. Kurt says:

Medical Journalism is no different than other science publications. “Peer review” filters critical thinking and only allows publications that meet the status quo. The same algorithm applies to the theories of evolution, relativity, gravity, big bang, climate change… Indoctrinating the public to believe “proven science” is the goal. Critical thinking = no government funding.

  11. Joy says:

Jon, more people should read your book, AIDS Inc., if they really want to have their eyes opened forever!

  12. Bunny says:

I have actually worked in life science research going through college and then when i could not get a job in my field for several years after that at large research facilities.

In the private institutions it is publish or perish and cutthroat competition for grant money. The investigator will apply for money to find the results expected and they will twiddle with the data and use stats (the ones that are smart enough anyway) to fake the results if need be.

It is my opinion that most of the research out there is dodgy at best , and corrupted by vested interests..
Medical sciences are amongst the worst of the lot,.It is a very sad state of affairs.

I know i have tried repeatedly showing many of those quotes Jon lists to family and friends only to be blown off..this despite the fact that the doctor they see usually makes their situation worse not better.
(like my friend whose IBS is much worse thanks to 3 month antibiotic treatment by a “specialist” for her IBS)

Just to share, one of the things i have found is the fluoride in the water is IN PART causing the IBS, (along with food intolerances)….also be aware that fluoride can weaken thyroid function which is WHY thyroxin is the third most prescribed medication in the US.

And in fact flouride can cause many of the aches and pains as you get older, because it accumulates in your tendons, and joints ‘calcifying’, and causing stiffness and pain.

Of course the best way to get rid of fluoride is to take Tamarind extract and drink distilled (or reverse osmosis) water/
avoid TEA which is high in fluoride and buy organic, as most pesticides are very high in fluoride..

    • Lucy Cole says:

      What is TEA?

      • Bunny says:

The caffeinated beverage brewed from tea leaves favored by the British. You can find it in your store under popular names like Tetleys, Red Rose, and Liptons.

We did not know about the Fluoride in tea, and we (my husband and i) had given up coffee (too acidic) and switched to tea. We live in the Pacific NW where going caffeine free is difficult because of the weather. We were drinking far too much tea and he actually got sick from it.
        Now we drink white coffee.

        • Lucy Cole says:

Thanks. Since it was capitalized, I thought it was an acronym. I drink organic tea, made with filtered water. I’ve never heard of white coffee. Will look it up.

    • mteresh says:

I use Big Berkey water filter, which has a number of different filters, including filters for fluoride, glyphosate and dozens of other toxic substances.

  13. Edward N. Willey says:

The problem is with all of us consumers. We have greater greater than warranted expectations of authors, scientists, police, bankers, attorneys, politicians, and somewhere at the top of this incomplete list our physicians. We believe they have some regard for those whom they serve. We are simply sheep to be shorn or slaughtered at will by a caring Shepard.

At sometime or other all of these actors are complicit in fraud, it is to
their perceived advantage to do it. Only when truth is conspicuously better than a well crafted lie is it considered. Once any falsehood is published it is reiterated until it is generally accepted as truth. Our credulity is we do not imply tests of veracity of the most elementary form.

It is common for physicians to receive benefit from drug companies. Some receive receive hundreds of thousands of dollars a few at the top millions or even share in gross profit. The difference in cost of some proprietary drugs in distinction to generic drugs with the same therapeutic profile is several orders of magnitude.

  14. raman says:

I am a firm believer of the statement : our makers have given everything we need to make a good life for the whole universe , but most times when we have an issue we look for the answers outward . we should be always aware of our equal & opposite reaction. to all of our ailments . ask your self what , why, how ,when. etc, etc, believe in the higher power it’s a gift form our maker .

  15. Calilo says:

Medical Reporters…. it is time to take back your profession. Expose the fraud otherwise you are complicit in it.

  16. Erik Johnson says:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbcR9f7hwow

“Let me make something perfectly clear. The illness entity known as CFS [chronic fatigue syndrome], based on an outbreak of ‘ME Plus’, has never been fully investigated by anyone. Not one researcher has examined all of the evidence that caused the creation of this syndrome. NOT A SINGLE ONE. After nearly 30 years. This is a disgrace of epic proportions. A disease that has brought brutal, relentless suffering to now millions of people and yet we have evidence that has been around since the inception of the syndrome that has never been examined.”
