Arianna Huffington, journalist: echo chamber for Hillary Clinton

Arianna Stassinopoulos, aka Huffington, is a Greek bearing gifts. For Hillary Clinton.
The Huffington Post pretends it’s doing objective journalism. Nice try. No one has believed in HuffPo’s objectivity for a long time. But now we have an email that seals the deal.
Zero Hedge reports: “…the latest Podesta dump from WikiLeaks fully exposes the blatant collusion in black and white. In the following email chain, when asked whether she would like to join the board of a pro-democrat media consortium, PMUSA, Ariana graciously declines saying that she could be more useful to the Clinton campaign by pushing its agenda through the Huffington Post “without any perceived conflicts”.
“She [Arianna] is enthusiastic abt the project but asks if she’s more useful to us not being on the Board and, instead, using Huffpo to echo our [pro-Hillary] message without any perceived conflicts. She has a point.”
“The sender of the email is none other than Susan McCue, the former chief of staff to [Democrat Senator] Harry Reid while the recipients include John Podesta [Hillary’s campaign chairman] and the ever controversial David Brock whose Super PAC, Correct the Record, has been sued for illegally coordinating with the Clinton campaign.”
Well, isn’t that wonderful.
Arianna used to be married to Republican Congressman Michael Huffington. Then, she was a political conservative. After her divorce, from which she reportedly netted $25 million, she began to morph into a Progressive. With the financial ability to launch HuffPo, she kept on turning to the political Left. In the HuffPo merger with AOL, she came away with another $21 million.
Her opponents have pinned several labels on her: “the most upwardly mobile Greek since Icarus,” and “the Sir Edmund Hillary of social climbing.”
So now she’s an echo chamber for the Democratic Party.
The Online Etymology Dictionary traces the root of “echo”: “…personified in classical [Greek] mythology as a mountain nymph who pined away for love of Narcissus until nothing was left of her but her voice…”
And now we’ve confirmed for whom that Arianna-voice speaks. A great American narcissist, Hillary Clinton.

Hi Jon, I actually lol’d over the critique of Her Arrogance Lady Arianna “the most upwardly mobile Greek since Icarus” which I had not read or heard before. One can only hope her wax wings will melt in proximity to the sulfurous flame of HRC et al…
In former times, I would pride myself for not having yet succumbed to cynicism about “life.” Now, a new day has dawned, and being a cynic, assuming nothing is true until proven to be so, may well serve me well!
COUNTERPOINTS:
1. Hilary is being flayed for having a “secret” “private” email system (which “broke(?) just in time for November ….)
2. Hilary is being flayed for being exposed by her email “leaks” – very WikiLeaks like, no?
Incredibly determined old bird, but nowhere near smart enough for REAL politics.
The only word that fits her is “chutzpah”.
Will the election change anything? Anything at all, no matter which old bird wins?
My personal (far away) feeling is that ANYTHING is better than the incumbent who was the ultimate test of the USA peasants’ gullibility…….

This swamp will be self-draining if President Trump asks NASA to publicly answer the one question that will forever change society’s attitude toward science and religion, “NASA, IS THE SUN A PULSAR?”

The huff and puff post has always been a yuppy or plastic people site. Kind of like the yuppie zombies who frequent whole paycheck aka(not so) whole foods who think they know everything but in actuality know nothing but arrogance. I never liked it. No surprise that she is a schill.
How blessed we all are to have front row seats to this show! If only our public servants and their sycophants spent more time doing their jobs and upholding their oaths, instead of scheming like the criminals they really are. Now if only the stupid masses could figure this out and break out of their self imposed masochism and stop supporting those who despise and degrade them.
Kudos Jon for weaving in Greek mythology. It makes it easier to understand (and laugh at) these celebrated people as modern examples of ancient archetypes.
