Breaking: Google gives new meaning to “Orwellian”
Becomes Ministry of Truth

The New Scientist has the stunning story (2/28/15, “Google wants to rank websites based on facts not links,” by Hal Hodson):
“THE internet is stuffed with garbage. Anti-vaccination websites make the front page of Google, and fact-free ‘news’ stories spread like wildfire. Google has devised a fix – rank websites according to their truthfulness.”
Great idea, right?
Sure it is.
The author of the article lets the cat out of the bag right away with his comment about “anti-vaccination” websites.
These sites will obviously be shoved into obscurity by Google because they’re “garbage”…whereas “truthful” pro-vaccine sites will dominate top ranked pages on the search engine.
This is wonderful if you believe what the CDC tells you about vaccine safety and efficacy. The CDC: an agency that opens its doors every day with lies and closes them with more lies.
The New Scientist article continues:
“A Google research team is adapting [a] model to measure the trustworthiness of a [website] page, rather than its reputation across the web. Instead of counting incoming links, the [ranking] system – which is not yet live – counts the number of incorrect facts within a page. ‘A source that has few false facts is considered to be trustworthy,’ says the team…The score they compute for each page is its Knowledge-Based Trust score.”
Right. Google, researchers of truth. Assessors of trustworthiness. Who in the world could have a problem with that?
Answer: anyone with three live brain cells.
Here’s the New Scientist’s capper. It’s a beaut:
“The [truth-finding] software works by tapping into the Knowledge Vault, the vast store of facts that Google has pulled off the internet. Facts the web unanimously agrees on are considered a reasonable proxy for truth. Web pages that contain contradictory information are bumped down the rankings.”
Right. Uh-huh. So Google, along with its friends at the CIA, will engineer a new and improved, greater flood of (dis)information across the Web. And this disinfo will constitute an overwhelming majority opinion…and will become the standard for measuring truth and trustworthiness.
Think about what kinds of websites will rise like foul cream to the top of Google page rankings:
“All vaccines are marvelously safe and effective, and parents who don’t vaccinate their kids should be prosecuted for felonies.”
“GMOs are perfectly safe. ‘The science’ says so.”
“The FBI has never organized a synthetic terror event and then stung the morons it encouraged.”
“Common Core is the greatest system of education yet devised by humans.”
“People who believe conspiracies exist have mental disorders.”
In other words: (fake) consensus reality becomes reality. Which is the situation we have now, but the titanic pile of fakery will rise much, much higher.
Also, think about this: the whole purpose of authentic investigative reporting is puncturing the consensus…but you’ll have to search Google for a long time to find it.
In the field of medical fraud, an area I’ve been researching for 25 years, the conclusions of standard published studies (which are brimming with lies) will occupy page after page of top Google rankings.
Let me offer a counter-example to the Google “knowledge team.” Here is a woman who has examined, up close and personal, more medical studies in her career than the entire workforce of Google. She is Dr. Marcia Angell. For 20 years, she was an editor at The New England Journal of Medicine.
On January 15, 2009, the New York Review of Books published her stunning statement:
“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.”
In two sentences, Angell carries more weight than 20,000 blowhard “science bloggers,” to say nothing of lying drug companies and that criminal agency called the FDA.
Angell torpedoes an entire range of medical literature, based on her hard-won experience.
But you can be sure that when it comes to “medical facts,” the Google “truth team” will ascribe absolutely no merit (ranking) to her conclusion or its implications.
You may say, “But these search engines are already slanting the truth.”
The new Google program is going to double down. It’s going to set up its own Ministry of Truth. It’s going to standardize algorithms that unerringly bring about officially favored lies.
Stories on vote fraud?
Stories contradicting the official line on mass shootings?
Stories on the US government funding terrorist groups?
Stories on the hostile planetary intentions of Globalists?
Stories on corporate criminals? Secrets of the Federal Reserve?
Stories on major media censoring scandals?
Counter-consensus stories on 9/11, the JFK assassination, the US bankers and corporations who funded both sides in WW2? All anti-establishment versions of history?
After Google launches this Ministry of Truth program, you’ll have to put on diving gear and go deep underwater to find any trace of them.

Let’s take all this one step further. Google’s director of research is Ray Kurzweil, who many people know as the promoter of a “utopian” plan to hook the population up (through direct brain-machine interface) to a vast super-computer.
The super-computer will pass along virtually all human knowledge. Kurzweil believes such a momentous breakthrough will endow humans with a mystical level of consciousness.
Even if this technological wet dream could be realized, we can now see what “connecting to all human knowledge” means:
It means accepting all official knowledge. Being blind to counter-knowledge.
It’s time to reverse AI (Artificial Intelligence) and call it IA (Intelligent Androids).
IAs would be humans who are programmed to be androids. IAs accept truth as it delivered to them by official sources.
Google makes its contribution by promoting official sources.
And hiding other sources.
Yes, this surely seems like Nirvana.
You will be fed the Good and protected from the Evil.

Thank you, Jon, for identifying how the internet will be controlled to promote “truth,” as anonymous peer- review has controlled access to federal research grants and to mainstream research journals like Science, Nature, PRS, PNAS, Phy. Rev., JGR, etc.
The reason for totalitarian control of information after WWII was hidden from the public by a news blackout of events in AUG-SEPT 1945 just before the UN was formed in OCT 1945.
If you study the paper, “Solar energy” carefully – including the references – you will know Stalin’s troops captured:
1. Japan’s atomic bomb plant at Konan, Korea in AUG 1945;
2. The crew of an American B-29 bomber in AUG 1945; and
3. Held them for negotiations in SEPT 1945; leading to
4. Formation of the UN in OCT 1945; followed by
5. Seventy years (1945-2015 = 70 yrs) of lies disguised as consensus science to move society toward UN’s Agenda 21.

There are lots of reasons not to use Google – I mainly use duck duck go for searching, unfortunately they don’t have their own image search and have to use google, and sometimes the results aren’t as relevant. I have to wonder if a petition against this would give them cause to reconsider. People don’t generally like being told they aren’t intelligent enough to evaluate information on their own, even if they aren’t. How about a headline similar to this for the petition: Google thinks you’re stupid, plans to become your personal truth filter.
This is horrifying. As if there is not already enough “filtering” taking place in people’s minds. Already you can slap many people right in the face with truth, and their eyes glaze over. It’s about to get 100 times worse thanks to Google. Intelligent Androids? Only in a world where “intelligence” is defined as the ability to regurgitate information with smug self-satisfaction, and with discernment limited to whether or not it is widely believed by official experts, which is certainly the world we live in.
So basically, every web page in which commenters argue and disagree with each other, thereby placing contradictory facts onto the same web page, and also, any forum where people make their own discussion topics and have disagreements written on the same web page, will be bumped down. You could deliberately fill comments with non-facts and thereby lower the ranking of a page. People would have to just shut off comments on their blogs to prevent people from writing non-facts and discrediting them. Even innocent mistakes and ignorance will be counted as non-facts, thereby nullifying the growth and learning process of every human being on the planet. A newborn baby is not allowed to be ignorant of facts! We’ll never hear another statement made in innocent error ever again. Can I have another search engine that ranks fact-oriented pages lower? I’d love that.

The New Scientists ‘Capper’ as you call it is in fact a contradictory point of view by them. Or by Google in fact. If they go for the largest amount of evidence by total number of times it appears on the web then they should actually be going for the ‘anti’ views like anti-vaccination and anti-GMOs etc. Lets face it there are more of us out here than there are of them in there.
As you mention the Matrix numerous times it made me immediately think that this appears to be only a single step away from actually happening. When we are all programmed we lose our independence/sense of self/sovereignty/freedom and as you say, become Intelligent Androids. Controlling androids is relatively easy after that. Controlling them and hooking them up to form links/chains/power sources etc is the next step to what has become that famous view of what happens to all those humans who fall for the con. The Tall Towers of humans in pods all powering the machines. They simply become resources for the machine that sustains the controllers and the only difference is those in power, the controllers will not be machines but the fat cats who created the idea in the first place many decades ago before we became aware of the trickery and the frauds. This is the plan and this is just another step in that direction. Probably the last step because when we lose access to the information we currently have now we lose our connections and we lose our allies. We become what is known in all great military tactical manuals as ‘Divide(d) and Conquer(ed).

I get that this is disconcerting and disturbing, but let’s consider what it also means. People are waking up more and more. The truth dam is building pressure and beginning to give way…and just like Chevy Chase in Vegas Vacation, the control system is trying to plug all the dam leaks with chewing gum. Truth cannot be stopped by virtue of its transcendental nature. If it is lived and spoken into reality it propagates. Talk to people today about the same things you tried to tell them 3 years ago. There IS a difference, however subtle you may perceive it to be. Progress IS being made. And regardless of what happens, we ARE fighting the good fight. Our situation is of course dire, but it is also very exciting and fulfilling to be a part of. Never forget you came here to participate in a slave rebellion…Just some optimism to counter all the freaking out…Evil; what is it? Chaos, Death, Destruction, Falsehood…Good; What is it? Creation, Creativity, Uniqueness, Life, Truth. After all, evil IS the obedient servant of God’s kingdom. It doesn’t at all seem that way, but that’s the point. If we all lived in ooey-gooey, loving bliss for all eternity that too would be hell, because there would be no growth to strive for, no adversity to make things interesting, no victory by way of our own individual efforts. Though I’m not sure evil, and the overcoming of it, was necessarily part of a grand cosmic plan, or that it would turn into an “ooey-gooey, loving bliss for all eternity” if we didn’t experience it (that WOULD be hell); but, at any rate, once we shake off the unrelenting tyranny and oppression that we face, and are back in our natural state, perhaps it becomes an incredible adventure of continuously challenging ourselves to higher and higher attainments (like learning to play jazz, as a simple example), not because evil is biting at our heals, but just for the pure pleasure of it.

They want to use websites like Snopes, Politifact, and FactCheck as their basis of determining “truthfulness” and “accuracy” of published information. Well whaddaya know! Last time I saw detailed reporting on these “truth” sites, they have a very warped view on what constitutes the truth from fiction. These three websites (forementioned here) along with the likes of Salon, Daily Kos, Daily Beast, Media Matters, Huffington Post, etc. have serious problems with actual, balanced reporting of the various issues. Plus, they also have a few financial “irons” in the fire! Of course they are not going to “bite the hands that feed them”! – AND – Neither is Google, apparently.

I have a few observations:
1) Taking a different view, could the market resource up around Google & offer competitive “brands”? Some might place anti-vaccines at the top and others would put it at the bottom. I thought I would check the Google “competition” status and found several interesting links. Here’s one:

2) Which “key words” are selected is the cruncher & I skin things so fine that I might see 5-6 pages of links for an average search. I think, also, in practicality “truthfulness” is going to be very hard to administer, particularly if devious “truth givers” start altering their websites to ensure anti-vaccines head the queue. Oh, the bitter irony… 😉
3) I wonder whether Dr Marcia Angell was publicised by the NYT to oppose virtue. Not criticising her, but might the intent be to excommunicate any contributors to medical journals that present articles that contradict CDC/FDA/Big pharma commercial protocol?

Google is the perfect companion for Wikipedia. My favorite example of the Ministry of Truth is the Wiki entry on Jewish Bolshevism. It’s complete disregard for historically documented fact speaks volumes about the Wiki agenda.

Assuming this conspiracy theory is true (why not?), it is a double-edged sword. Where will Google’s Ministry of Truth draw the line on Building 7? “Experts understand Building 7’s destruction mechanism and lay people are too dumb to understand the experts’ work?” “Building 7’s video record is irrelevant to the determination of the cause of its destruction?” “The resemblance of Building 7’s motion to a controlled demolition’s is only superficial?” “Building 7’s motion does not resemble at all a controlled demolition’s?” “There was no reason whatsoever for any TV station anywhere in the world to make an inexpensive and riveting documentary on the little office fire that could outsmart the best controlled demolition engineers?”

The New Scientist article mentions SNOPES as a possible source for “truths”. Snopes has a strong pro-“skeptic”, pro establishment bias.
People still use Google services (of any stripe) in this day and age? That is an alien concept to me.
Imagine if someone was complaining to you about the quality of their Monsanto ingredient sourced frozen TV dinner. You’d probably tell them to either put a sock in it, or take action and buy some quality ingredients and learn to cook at home. No matter how popular frozen TV dinners were with the rest of the buying public.
Likewise, I encourage people to vote with their feet and switch to a search service that respects your dignity, like DuckDuckGo.

If you’ve seen Larry and Sergei being interviewed on the TED stage, you cannot help recognise how brainwashed the smartest people on the planet is because they all agree. At least the European Union is giving them a run for their money regarding privacy.
Should google go down this route, and other search engines don’t follow, is this just another incremental step towards moving the middle ground closer to where the nwo types want it, closer to fascism? I think if Google does actually go down this road (which is against their self serving “do no evil” blather) it just opens up the field for another search engine that doesn’t want to filter what you see. I see Google stock going down. When that happens, you will hear from Google something along the lines of “the public is too,stupid to know that we know better, so we’ll stop nannying results so our stock price goes up.” Of course they will make it sound like whatever the do next is an improvement. Like old coke, new coke, then classic coke, will we soon see a classic Google? Oh, and why the hell does spell check capitalize goolgle automatically? It’s just a math term.
