Syria: a vote of no-confidence in the President
by Jon Rappoport

As members of Congress reveal that calls to their offices are overwhelmingly against the war, and the House considers it may not vote at all, in order to spare Obama embarrassment, we can see a version of what refusing to vote for a president on election day looks like.
It looks like: no-confidence.
Every four years, I write about this possibility. Suppose only 19% of eligible voters showed up at the polls. It would speak loudly: The American people no longer trust the major candidates. They no longer trust the charade. They no longer trust the vote-count. They know both major candidates work for the same Globalist machine.
No-confidence.
Well, here it is. On the issue of the war.
I’m not saying the Congress will reject war. They may go ahead and drive the steamroller over the people. But it’s getting a little hairy for them.
And remember this. The media play any significant presidential victory as a signal that all his programs and plans are getting a boost. But on the flip side, that means a significant failure, in full view of the country, will register—despite the hype and explanations—as a weakening of his overall standing.
Washington DC registers such shifts in power like starving dogs smelling bloody meat. They attack.
War is supposed to be such a big deal that it’s a foregone conclusion, if the President wants it. He either sends the planes on his own, or Congress rubber stamps his position first. But this time, it’s different.
This time it’s: do we believe the President and his “evidence” and his claim that he’s taking the moral high ground; or don’t we. The question is in plain sight. It’s out there for all to see.
The push to war is such an obvious fabrication, only a complete fool or a dyed-in-the-wool Obama believer would opt for attacking Syria. The hypnotic Obama bubble is bursting, even for many of the faith.
In my last article on Syria, I pointed out that the super-secret Congressional intell briefing was a sham. It was all generality and no hard evidence. It was basically arm twisting.
So what’s left? Nothing. “Do what the President wants you to do.”
If Congress says yes, they’ll go down deeper into the dumper with Obama. These barnacles on the body politic can do one thing: assess self-interest and electability. They’re thinking about it.
They’re in the pressure cooker.
Taking a step back…do you think Obama woke up one day and said, “Hold on here. Assad just used chemical weapons on his own people. I have to take action. I have to punish him.”
Of course not. This idea came from somewhere else. It’s been on the table for years, as part of a Middle East strategy to destabilize the whole region. It’s, on one level, a Mossad-CIA plan, with a Saudi twist. On a higher level, it’s a Globalist operation, whose end game is order from chaos.
Partition nations into warring ethnic enclaves, disrupt the oil flow, create, therefore, planet-wide depression, and come in behind that to install new fascist dictator-puppets, bringing in international banksters to “re-finance” the whole region and own it from the ground up.
Obama is just another renter in the White House, playing the cards he was dealt. He goes along with the show, introducing his own prejudices, like any other President, and takes what he can get.
He’s no magic man, and now his juice is running out.
A no-confidence vote against war on Syria could, however, expand to mean no-confidence in any White House occupant from the two major parties.
Waking up is hard to do, but if the American people keep their eyes open, they’ll see that this Syria escapade is just one more example of an agenda that betrays any sane person’s idea of what America is supposed to be.
The only kind of transcendent President, in these times, would be one who, after a year or so in office, would hold a press conference and say, “I’ve learned I’m being run. Men are controlling the office of President. I’m supposed to take their orders. Here is what I know about them. Here are their names. Here is what they told me. Here is how they’re trying to coerce me. This is the story, the real story about what has happened to this country…”
To which people might say, “How could a President do that? They’d kill him.”
Exactly. That’s why I used the word “transcendent.”
Every American President sends soldiers to their deaths, and he kills people in distant countries. To be “transcendent” is to put his own life on the line, too.
That should give you some idea about why no-votes signaling no confidence in Presidents are vital. None of them will go as far as necessary to blow the cover on who really runs this nation.

I agree with everything above, except…
Showing up at the polls is not the same as not voting for the President.
We go to the polls to vote for local representatives, in local government, where our vote counts, where we can support our local politicos, right here at home, where we can keep and eye on them and keep them honest.
No need to travel to that great swamp on the Potomic, 3,000 miles and a century away. Just walk downtown to the County building or to City Hall, walk right in and sing a few bars of Alice’s Restaurant, and walk out. With four-part harmony and feeling.
That’s how it’s done.
That’s Democracy taken serious.

Keep rolling, my brother – and I couldn’t resists adding this quote, just for the hell of it. “It is dangerous to be right in matters on which the established authorities are wrong.” ―Voltaire. See Gary Webb’s Dark Alliance series, printed in the San Jose Mercury News almost 20 years ago. Webb was ostracized from mainstream journalism and found dead in 2004. And I deeply honor the work that you are doing, Jon – you are one of the very few truth tellers.
If anything positive can come out of the government’s latest grotesque and shameful push for war, it will hopefully be a mass political awakening. Never has has the war mongers’ hypocrisy, deceitfulness and arrogance been so obvious.
The last four presidents have, by executive order, signed on to United Nations Agenda 21. This Agenda’s objective is a World Government. i.e. open borders between countries, a calapse of the U.S. economy prior to a World Currency based on RFID, and a 90% reduction in U.S. population accomplighed with useless wars and nutrient deficient and toxic food. This jaw-dropping comment was made recently to National Review Online reporter John Fund by a “top aid to the Republican leadership”:
“I just don’t believe that if defeat is certain, the House leadership will want to see a president utterly humiliated on the House floor in a public vote… simply because the weakness it would demonstrate wouldn’t be good for the country.”
I can’t think of anyone more in need of humility than the out of control brood of vipers currently nesting in the White House; Head Viper Valerie Jarrett in particular. Sorry, I meant President Obama.
As deep as the ideological differences may seem amongst the two headed beast in Washington, actually making a unified statement of sanity against King Barack and his henchmen could risk a trance-shattering moment in American culture. Obama is the Right Wing House of Card’s boogy man, they need him more than they’ll ever admit (strangely enough, credit would actually be due for a change to the reptiles in the Democrat end of the House cesspool). But to start what, in effect, would be a defacto presidential impeachment, would be a major blow to the sham Right/Left paradigm that is holding this country hostage. This must be avoided at all costs. The onus would then be on Congress to come up with actual solutions, you know, take on a REAL leadership role in this country for a change. This would require of the House to grow two things:
1) A Conscience
2) A Backbone
But that’s crazy talk.

It is my prayer, that America will once again be worthy of God’s blessings, but first America must humble ourselves and invite him back, and make him welcome.
Before America fires one missile, or puts one boot on the ground, we need a REAL American as Commander-in Chief, instead of the Traitor Obamas. America’s hero Warriors have given America a blank check, and sworn “to defend the Constitution of The United States of America, against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.” Stop dishonoring the sacrifices of America’s Patriots, by forcing them to follow this Traitor. Impeach him and gang of Traitors already.
The Constitution of The United States of America is the supreme law of the land. To many of our elected officials, and those that they have appointed, illegally pass laws that are Unconstitutional, and are approved by The Supreme Court. As American Patriots, we need to Recall Congress, Impeach The Supreme Court, and charge Obama and Clinton, with Treason. We also need to Abolish the I. R. S. and the Federal Reserve Bank, and repeal the Patriot Act. We also need Term Limits, and to require all Congress members, and government employees to be on Social Security, with the same retirements that Tax Payers have.
Oath Keeper since 15 Feb 1965.
Like so many other government agencies, the NSA has become a self-fulfilling prophecy, which is one that alters actions and thus comes true. In order to justify their pay this agency has to find terrorist or terroristic threats, even if they have to create them.
15 Feb 1965, I joined The Army of The United States of America. I was sent from my home, in Dallas, Texas, to Ft. Polk LA, for basic training. I walked into a classroom one day and found the topic was, “What it means to be an American.” I though I was born in America, and did not need to be told what it meant to be an American. I asked the instructor why we had to take the class, and he said that during the Korean War there were more POW defectors than anytime in history. The reason for that was that so many Americans took their citizenship for granted and knew nothing about the principles on which this country was founded. The reason for the mess America is in is because so few people have any idea what it means to be an American. Obama wants to get immigrants that can hardly speak English, let alone understand what this country was founded on.
America Truth Restored is trying to educate people on what it means to be an American, where we will stop losing our God given rights.

If more Americans understood The Constitution of The United States of America, they would recognize that our Fore Fathers were religious men, and were inspired when they set up this great country. Our government is supposed to be rule by majority, with respect for the minority, but we are now ruled by minority with OUT any respect for majority. The overwhelming majority of Americans believe in God and some form of religion, but God is being pushed out of our schools, and government, bu the minority who do not believe in God.
One of the things that have made America a great country is that we are a melting pot of people from different cultures. This enables us to take the best parts of many cultures, but far too many immigrants today never assimilate into American culture, never learn English, never add to the American society, and try to change America into the country they left, and add cost to running out government by demanding special privileges, like government services provided in their native languages.
This is not the first Amnesty Program, we did it once, and now it is expected, so illegal immigrants keep coming, because they think that they will be given Amnesty and Citizenship, but until they do, they milk the system.

I’m afraid Greg O is right and for another reason.
Don’t forget that the NWO would love to see a civil war in America and, right in the aftermath of the NSA ‘scandal’, what would be better than make of the United States an horror to the world AND to the American citizen in butchering Syria as they did with … well, u know.
I still wouldn’t get how Americans are not ashamed of their ‘government’ if I didn’t witness the same fact here in Israel, in an even wider strain !!
Congress better vote against it because they may have handed B.O. the unconstitutional power to declare war in the NDAA, so only an act of congress can undo it in time. Won’t be able to impeach him for going to war if congress doesn’t vote against it with that law on the books…
Obama’s Promise to Veto ‘Worldwide War’ Bill Rings Hollow

The electorate not voting won’t faze them. Congress only gives a damn when tons of people scream. Besides how you gonna complain elections are rigged if great numbers of liberty supporters don’t vote? At least it raises eyebrows when sentiment is strong one way and it goes another and poll workers see lots of people registered to a different party than the party that won. Better to help get people early on to rally around a liberty candidate.
