To understand even a little bit about real psychiatry, versus the false picture, you have to know that someone running around the streets naked and screaming has nothing to do with a mental disorder.

If you can’t grasp that, you’ll always have a lingering sense that psychiatry is on the right track. It isn’t, and never was. Not from its earliest days, and not now, when it has the full backing and force of the federal government behind it.

Psychiatry is the kind of all-out fraud few people grasp.

In a moment of weakness and exhaustion, Allen Frances, the most famous and honored psychiatrist in America at the time (2000), understood part of it. He told Gary Greenberg of Wired Magazine, “There is no definition of a mental disorder. It’s bullshit. I mean, you just can’t define it.”

BANG.

That’s on the order of the designer of the Hindenburg, looking at the burned rubble on the ground, remarking, “Well, I knew there would be a problem.”

After a suitable pause, Dr. Frances remarked to Greenberg, “These concepts [of distinct mental disorders] are virtually impossible to define precisely with bright lines at the borders.”

This was an admission that the bible of the profession, the DSM, the latest edition of which Frances himself had led in compiling, could not draw separations between the 297 official mental disorders listed in it. It was, in other words, a pretense. The whole bible.

In a PBS Frontline episode, Does ADHD Exist?, Dr. Russell Barkley, an eminent professor of psychiatry and neurology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, spelled out the fraud even more clearly.

Here it is.

PBS FRONTLINE INTERVIEWER: Skeptics say that there’s no biological marker—that it [ADHD] is the one condition out there where there is no blood test, and that no one knows what causes it.

BARKLEY: That’s tremendously naïve, and it shows a great deal of illiteracy about science and about the mental health professions. A disorder doesn’t have to have a blood test to be valid. If that were the case, all mental disorders would be invalid…There is no lab test for any mental disorder right now in our science. That doesn’t make them invalid. [Emphasis added]

Oh, indeed, that does make them invalid. Utterly and completely. All 297 mental disorders. They’re all hoaxes. Because there are no tests of any kind to back up the diagnosis.

You can sway and tap dance all you like and you won’t escape the noose around your neck. We are looking at a science that isn’t a science. That’s called fraud. Rank fraud.

But you see, we’re still left with the naked man who’s running around the street screaming. What is he? Doesn’t he have a mental disorder?

He does not, because the term “mental disorder” isn’t just a colloquial phrase, it’s a technical designation, and it underpins everything that psychiatry is. And there is no basis for its diagnosis. None.

There are many reasons the man may be running naked in the street. If he has a blood clot or lesion on his brain, if he has been poisoned, if he folded up and left this world as a child after he received a vaccine, if he has been pushed over the edge by Paxil or Zoloft, if he has been brutalized and is terrified, if he has been given electric shocks by a psychiatrist, if he is on Vicodin, if he has snorted cocaine laced with some horrible filler, if he has been driven mad through starvation, if he has been harassed by people who are threatening his life, he could be running naked in the street.

That is a matter for honest and complete discovery. It isn’t an occasion to slap on the label, “mental disorder.”

Now that President Obama has decided the expansion of mental health services must be effected to protect us all from people with guns, we are looking up the immediate road at government programs in schools, among other disastrous innovations.

Children are concocted as a prime target for early diagnosis of non-existent mental disorders, because in the past, a number of these children, diagnosed and drugged by psychiatrists, went on to kill people as a result of the drugs’ actions on their brains. That’s called irony. It’s also called a crime, in the very real sense that psychiatrists contributed mightily to the killings.

So now, every child in school who twitches the wrong way or picks up a bubble-gum toy shaped like a pistol, or points his finger at a friend and says Bang, or looks sad and lonely for ten minutes at the back of the class on a rainy Tuesday, or draws pictures when he should be adding numbers in his notebook, or wears odd clothes, or gets angry for any reason at all, or objects to taking a vaccine, or wears a jacket with a small American flag sewn to the shoulder, or doesn’t play well with others, or makes a positive statement in class about the Bill of Rights, or reminds a teacher of a little criminal in a movie, or has a bottle opener in his pocket, or dreams in class about designing a rocket that will take people to Mars…can be referred to a counselor, who in turn will refer him to a psychiatrist, who will make some sort of off-the-shelf diagnosis, which will travel with the child for the rest of his life, making the child believe he has a brain problem, and the psychiatrist will prescribe that child drugs like Ritalin, Adderall, Zoloft, Paxil, or Prozac, drugs that scramble neurotransmitter systems and can very certainly cause that child to go violent.

That is the reality.

When Obama announced his intention, in the wake of Sandy Hook, to go nuclear with expanded mental-health services across the country, the president of the American Psychiatric Association, Dr. Dilip Jeste, praised the program.

I am strongly encouraged by the President’s recommendations because they include a focus on improving mental health,” Jeste said to a Psychiatric News reporter.

The Psychiatric News article continues: “A new initiative outlined by Obama would provide training for school personnel and help ensure that young people who need help are referred to treatment…[and this new program would] train 5,000 additional mental health professionals to serve students and young adults.”

What we are looking at here is wolves circling prey.

If you don’t think so, consider these hidden facts about Ritalin, which is normally considered to be a much lighter drug than any of the SSRI antidepressants (Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil) or the drugs given for so-called Bipolar Disorder (Valproate, Lithium).

Ritalin, manufactured by Novartis, is the close cousin to speed which is given to perhaps four million American schoolchildren for a condition called Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), or ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).

ADD and ADHD, for which no organic causes have ever been found, are touted as disease-conditions that afflict the young, causing hyperactivity, unmanageability, and learning problems. Of course, when you name a disorder or a syndrome and yet can find no single provable organic cause for it, you have nothing more than a loose collection of behaviors with an arbitrary title.

Correction: you also have a pharmaceutical bonanza.

The Matrix Revealed

Dr. Peter Breggin, referring to an official directory of psychiatric disorders, the DSM-III-R, writes that withdrawal from amphetamine-type drugs, including Ritalin, can cause “depression, anxiety, and irritability as well as sleep problems, fatigue, and agitation.” Breggin then remarks, “The individual may become suicidal in response to the depression.”

The well-known Goodman and Gilman’s The Pharmacological Basis of Therapeutics reveals a strange fact. It states that Ritalin is “structurally related to amphetamines … Its pharmacological properties are essentially the same as those of the amphetamines.” In other words, the only clear difference is legality. And the effects, in layman’s terms, are obvious. You take speed and after awhile, sooner or later, you start crashing. You become agitated, irritable, paranoid, delusional, aggressive.

A firm and objective medical review needs to be done in all of the school shootings, to determine how many of the shooters were on, or had at one time been on, Ritalin.

In his landmark classic, Toxic Psychiatry, Dr. Breggin discusses the subject of drug combinations: “Combining antidepressants [e.g., Prozac, Luvox] and psychostimulants [e.g., Ritalin] increases the risk of cardiovascular catastrophe, seizures, sedation, euphoria, and psychosis. Withdrawal from the combination can cause a severe reaction that includes confusion, emotional instability, agitation, and aggression.”

Children are frequently medicated with this combination, and when we highlight such effects as aggression, psychosis, and emotional instability, it is obvious that the result is pointing toward the very real possibility of violence.

In 1986, The International Journal of the Addictions published a most important literature review by Richard Scarnati. It was called “An Outline of Hazardous Side Effects of Ritalin (Methylphenidate”) [v.21(7), pp. 837-841].

Scarnati listed over a hundred adverse affects of Ritalin and indexed published journal articles for each of these symptoms.

For every one of the following (selected and quoted verbatim) Ritalin effects then, there is at least one confirming source in the medical literature:

Paranoid delusions
• Paranoid psychosis
• Hypomanic and manic symptoms, amphetamine-like psychosis
• Activation of psychotic symptoms
• Toxic psychosis
• Visual hallucinations
• Auditory hallucinations
• Can surpass LSD in producing bizarre experiences
• Effects pathological thought processes
• Extreme withdrawal
• Terrified affect
• Started screaming
• Aggressiveness
• Insomnia
• Since Ritalin is considered an amphetamine-type drug, expect amphatamine-like effects
• psychic dependence
• High-abuse potential DEA Schedule II Drug
• Decreased REM sleep
• When used with antidepressants one may see dangerous reactions including hypertension, seizures and hypothermia
• Convulsions
• Brain damage may be seen with amphetamine abuse.

If psychiatrists are the wolves—and they are—and children are the sheep, then what do you call the parents who permit their children to be captured by these marauders?

Am I saying that “mental health,” as defined by organized psychiatry, and backed by the federal and state governments, is a vast criminal enterprise, rather than a science?

Yes, absolutely. I’m saying that because that’s what it is.

What are your views on therapy by psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers? Without medication. Just talking. Can’t that be helpful to people? (Except that now it seems there may be a loss of privacy with new mandatory reporting). Can therapists serve a valuable helping function, under certain conditions such as guaranteed privacy and no mandate to diagnose or label in order for insurance reimbursement? Has the time come when we cannot talk about emotional or mental health without thinking of labels or diagnoses of “conditions” or disorders?

Also, what are your views on personality disorders? Are these diagnoses also a myth? Or, if real, what do you think should be society’s response to people with personality disorders? If fake, what do you think is going on, then, with people with these types of personalities?

We are letting our children, usually boys, down! Have heard this called the wussification of America. Medicine bottles were secured at the VA Tech massacure – but never heard any other details. Thought this article by David Kupelian was also very enlightening!

The individuals understanding the corrupt system know the answer to that equation, “improving mental health”. More than money is saved when not supporting the vicious cycle of the evil doers creating the problems with poisons and the solutions (equally poisonous) all the while passing the buck upon the sleeping serfs, paying for it with slave labor, ultimately our lives…

For starters, I recommend stopping vaccines – injecting toxins into our precious babies creates a menagerie of afflictions Big Evil has named, matching them with toxic cocktails they’ve labeled as remedy. When poisons are no longer injected into newborns, they will not develop troubling side affects nor experience death. People wonder why all children receiving vaccines aren’t equally affected – because some babies are healthier, warding off the toxins. Just the same, a malnourished adult not armed with nutrition will be susceptible to afflictions of the varied kind, shown as symptoms of ill health. These signs indicate a nutritional deficiency not that drugs (prescriptions) are required. Our bodies, down to each and every cell, require vital minerals of the varied kind. I dare anyone to prove cells require any of the poisons pushed by big pharma.

Do people even have a clue to the meaning of prescription…
A decision is “made before hand” as to what they will provide, matching the magic pill to the concocted affliction. Medical training includes matching symptoms with chemicals not with the correlating necessary mineral. People desiring the magic pill to fix what ails only need research vitamins (vital minerals). Maybe hyper adults that were never hyper children need to kick the sugar habit, ditch the caffeine, aspartame, MSG, corn syrup… Still with high anxiety, muscle cramps, heart arrhythmias, depression and more – check out the wonders of magnesium, it’s known as the chill pill. Sadly, most households are removing magnesium and calcium through water treatment and replacing it with sodium… I bet you didn’t know about that con.

Once people take the plunge, understanding and finally accepting the fraudulent system, meaning, all societal institutions are not for the well being of humans, they’ll get giddy. No really – because it is quite a free feeling when recognizing each con. Excited with the new found discoveries, the arising frustrations will pertain to relationships with persons still in denial. Though once awakened, one can’t go back to sleep. This is the great awakening and currently, nothing matters more than burying the paradigm of old, all the while creating the new. The future of humanity depends upon us, not U.S., in any shape or form.

Used to be that children were children including tanter tantrums and ‘un-adult’ behaviour. They are kids for crying out loud. But they learned with proper guidance of their parents. Seems like todays parents are too lazy to (or too stupid) to reign in their kids when they are overreacting. But for any common sense adults (oxymoron these days?) when raising their children there was never a need for drugs to control them.

I think it started in the seventies when people would let their offspring get away with everything. Like smearing paint on the walls all over the house. The poor kid needed to express itself. Fuck me.

Today parents feel helpless and send their kids off to a psychiatrist because it’s easier that way. Or they are made to do that by the ‘system’. Now this criminal system, drugging our kids, is trying to expand its reach to affect more children. I am sorry, but the psychiatric and pharmaceutical industry needs to be hauled in front of a judge and jury to be tried for destroying the next generations. Thanks Jon, Silvia

This is a great article, thank you ! I have two grandsons both were diagnosed with ADHD . The oldest, at the age of 8 was put on an adult dosage of Prozac, PROZAC ! Now he is on another medication. His problem was he couldn’t concentrate. My youngest is just five year old and already on meds as well , he was diagnosed hyperactive at the age of four for gosh sakes ! I tried and tried to make my daughter take them to a different doctor but since she trust their pediatrician, she won’t do it. It just breaks my heart , there is no joy in these boys whatsoever just sadness and nothingness , they are like little mo-bots.
We are going to Disney World in May , I question whether they’ll even enjoy the trip. My daughter , whether she is over worked as a nurse, over stressed or too lazy to deal with overly active kids , will not listen to anything I say about the danger of these drugs. Too make it even sadder, Nicole who is only 30 was stressed out at work and went to the same doctor who diagnosed her as ADHD , it’s really sad. I could not believe my daughter felt she needed these meds to “cope !” You probably don’t answer comments but do you have any suggestions on what I could do ?

  10. C. Burkey says:

    Really interesting article, thanks.
I feel terrible for all the little kids who have to sit their butts down at desks, confined in boring classrooms, unable to do what human beings evolved to do at that age—MOVE around and put HANDS on things and LEARN about the world first hand. It seems criminal to make kids go through the obedience training that most school is. And it makes me wonder if this business about ADHD, aside from being a pharma racket, is really about drugging kids so they will comply with the obedience training.
I am not anti-school or anti-learning. I was just lucky to go to a school through 2nd grade where we were not seated at desks. Public school after that was a horrible awakening. It’s not about learning. It’s about conformity.

  12. free woman of the land says:

the greatest root of evil and the foundation for the matrix of control, destruction and subjugation to continue is the lie of obedience and repression being necessary to “control” humans.

your last paragraph was the most important out of the whole article. guess you wanted to save the best for last. what kind of parents, indeed, would allow their children to be harmed. human mothers (and fathers) are the only animals who do not protect and nurture their children. lets be honest for once and admit loving and caring and cherishing the most precious and vulnerable of us is only lip service. children are still considered property, mere commodities to be done with and molded and manipulated as we please. all in the name of some ridiculous fraudulent puritan idea of sin and obedience. this is why parents allow their children to be used and damaged. these parents are products of the same abuse and in turn, instead of choosing love and their natural instincts and refusing to do what was done to them, they indoctrinate their own children. this is completely against nature. spare the rod, spoil the child is still repeated in the year 2013.

what results are we getting by practicing this philosophy? its obvious the only ones benefiting are mega corporations and governments, whom this very idea was created by. in the 80’s it was observed that 80 to 95% of all families were dysfunctional. is this because humans are innately evil and depraved or because of adherence to sado masochistic principles? what is the obvious conclusion to what most believe about each other and themselves? just look around and the fruits of a punitive based society are everywhere. look at what the media wants you to believe by selling violence and punishment. guess what, its a lie. its completely manufactured and humans are conditioned thru abuse to become victim or persecutor. neither role is natural or real.

the public fool system continues to do what it was designed to do by carnegie and co.; subjugate and keep the masses conforming. the new race of human is already here. those who lack empathy, have mistrust of others, dont know how to think for themselves, complain and blame but do not ever focus on solutions by opting out and doing something different. is this a new phenomenon or is just more obvious now. i personally dont think society has evolved beyond the dark ages. the only difference is indoor plumbing and credit cards, which give an illusion that things have changed.

who would allow their children to be drugged into silence if they didnt believe they were bad and needed to be fixed? the fear of intimacy is so great that very few women breastfeed their children, and instead of holding them, they put them in various contraptions and tie them down for their own convenience. having a child brings up so many issues for so many people, because their childhood was not a time for celebration and exploration, but a time when the very people who were supposed to love and honor them betrayed them over and over again with punishment and neglect. children are divine gifts and they are our teachers. they remember what we have forgotten. this is what the dream and society fears the most. the natural human. one who feels and thinks and acts and cannot be controlled. someone who is real and knows who they are. not a battery or a slave to feed on by constantly perpetuating anger and fear, which is all a slave, a repressed human can feel. this is ideal for big government and the churches and all forms of oppression because you can not manipulate a free real person. so teach the very people who have the most control over the most vulnerable and innocent to break them before they can fight back. we are dealing with this repressed rage that is within the collective unconscious. it doesnt go away. jung is a great source to learn more about this. if you want to understand more about the purposeful education of the masses, read for your own good. if you can read that without feeling anything than you are truly dead and lost.

why are we here? many ask this question. this is a world of free will, a 3d physical experience. anything goes.there is no such thing as karma. whatever you believe is what you are subjected to. what you focus on is what you get more of.this life is illusion, its just a game. some come because anything goes, and they come to take advantage of this and enjoy controlling others. the universe, source energy expands. good and bad are judgements only in 3d to describe one’s opinion about something. the universe only knows to say yes to what you are asking for thru your vibration. it only knows expansion. it doesnt understand that some expansion hurts real bad in this world, and some lifts us to great joyous heights. this is the choice, the crux of free will. to expand outward and joyously or downward and inward into despair. once you understand this, all the oppression and programming falls away and you become free to express yourself however you choose. of course, the downward spiral is self destructive, whereas the outward continues on in perpetuity. some come here to ride that wave of joy and go further than before. to live, laugh and love. as we watch on the other side of the veil what goes on in this grand play, some come here with great love and enthusiasm, especially for the ones who will raise us. we see how lost and sad they are and we so desire to punch a great hole thru the veil that at great risk to ourselves we come to create a new way, the old way. so many choices, so much opportunity every moment to change the world and own lives by our intention and follow through..

I would like to close with the lyrics of the song unforgiven by metallica. Can we sing with the children a new song, of life, of joy, of unconditional love and happiness? Or are we destined to continue down this path of despair? Only you can decide which song you will sing for you and your children. Love is all there is, all else is illusion.

Great article. As a parent who has been fighting the system for 14 years now I can say that this agenda may be the final straw in closing the loop on control of our children. Currently any child on an IEP for behavioral or learning problems (at least in my state) already have their mental health and medications monitored by coordination with the school system and doctors. This is considered mandatory for a problem child and the parent can be charged with neglect if the proper permissions are not granted and/or the child isn’t on medications. A parent has to jump through all the proper hoops around here.
I have been threatened so many times by doctors for arguing about medications and by school officials who felt that my son wasn’t getting enough medications. I won’t mention neighbors, police, etc.

One doctor gave me information on diets for food and chemical allergies and begged me to keep it a secret. He said if certain people ever found out he had given me the information that he could lose his license to practice medicine. That information helped more than any other, which is precisely why he gave it to me. And it seems that the medical profession is determined to keep it a secret. Thus began my long journey down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories and how they might not be “just” theories after all.

It is hard enough to raise a hyper, unfocused, difficult to manage child in itself. Having to fight the rest of the world on top of it is near impossible.

During my tenure as Medical Director for a university hospital HMO, a pharmacist revealed a startling fact to me. He showed me a textbook diagram of the methamphetamine (Speed) molecule. Then he showed me the Prozac molecule and asked me to find the difference. After looking carefully at the two, side-by-side, I could not see any difference. He showed it to me, and it amounted to one tiny nitrogen “radical” (to use the technical term).

From that moment on, I called Prozac and all its cousins in the SSRI family, “domesticated Speed”.

Actually psychiatry is not about non-drug treatment nowadays and that is the whole point of this article. If you can’t see that, then you need to re-read it. What you are talking about is COUNSELING and that is practiced by psychologists – who do not have the ability to write prescriptions…at least here in my neck of the woods. Counseling is really done by the individual and is a point of the way. The real work is done on the part of the individual. Do you think asking a bunch of questions heals ppl? of course not! But it does help ppl find their way and face their issues…
