We’re talking about Tony Abbott, who just ruled from on high that there are no more exemptions from vaccines in Australia.
No more conscientious objections, no more religious exemptions. Only the rare medical exemption, permitted by a doctor. And suddenly, every family who refuses vaccinations for their children will lose up to $15,000 per year, per child, in federal support money. Every family in Australia is eligible for federal money.
Tony has officially ripped away citizens’ right to choose. Australia is now officially a medical police state.
But…
Back in 2006, Tony was singing a very different tune concerning his own daughters.
On November 9, 2006, news.com.au had the story: “Abbott rules out cancer vaccine for his daughters” (see also theaustralian.com.au “I could be seen as ‘cruel’ on Gardasil: Abbott”):
“FEDERAL Health Minister [at the time] Tony Abbott has said that while he may be seen as a ‘cruel, callow, callous, heartless bastard’, he would not be rushing to have his own daughters vaccinated [with the HPV shot] against cervical cancer.
“‘I won’t be rushing out to get my daughters vaccinated, maybe that’s because I’m a cruel, callow, callous, heartless bastard but, look, I won’t be,’ Mr Abbott said on Southern Cross radio.”
How interesting. How revealing. Tony Abbott, a vaccine refuser. Then. But now he’s the Pope of forced vaccinations for all Australians, whether they want them or not.
I don’t see Australian media outlets rushing to cover this contradiction. A reader pointed me to the 2006 article. Otherwise I never would have known about Tony’s double life.
Back in 2006, Tony had a bizarre justification for his anti-vaccine stance. The news.com.au article spells it out:
Tony: “If there is a national immunisation program [that includes the HPV shot], I certainly will be making sure that they [his daughters] get vaccinated under the program.”
Tony: “The [national] program is what the experts think clearly is absolutely necessary, and at the moment the experts don’t think this [HPV shot] is absolutely necessary.”
The article continues:
“The PBAC [Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee] yesterday knocked back the application from Australian manufacturer CSL to make the Gardasil [HPV] vaccine available free to all females aged 12 to 26.
“Gardasil halts the spread of sexually-transmitted human papilloma virus (HPV), which causes 70 per cent of cervical cancers. At present it costs $460 for the recommended three doses.
“The PBAC said it made the decision because the vaccine program – which would have cost about $625 million during its first four years – was not value for money.”
Let me take this apart.
Tony was saying he wouldn’t have his daughters vaccinated with the HPV shot because there was no national program for it.
That’s like saying, “If the supermarket doesn’t sell cherries, I won’t let my daughters eat them.”
You see, the only reason a national program to vaccinate girls with the HPV shot wasn’t instituted, in 2006, was because of money. The cost vs. value of the program was determined to be “not worth it.”
Conventional researchers, doctors, and vaccine manufacturers in Australia were quite confident, in 2006, that the vaccine was safe and effective. Otherwise, they never would have considered it, in the first place, for the national vaccine program.
(As far I’m concerned, HPV is one of the most useless and dangerous vaccines in existence, but for the purposes of this argument, we’re talking about the conventional mainstream view.)
Tony was deciding to reject what he considered to be a safe and effective vaccine for his own daughters—for whatever bizarre reasons he cared to advance. Because he had the right to choose. And because he held a high post in government. And because he decided he could do whatever he wanted to do.
But now, flashing forward nine years, Tony is telling every person in Australia what they have to do. No choice. No freedom. No right to seek out information independently and make a decision based on that information.
Australia is a medical police state, with Tony, the old vaccine refuser, at the helm.
If that isn’t cause for uproar in the Land Down Under, what is?

Where is the uproar? Good question. Most people are happily following orders.
A few years ago when I was researching vaccines I went into the biggest jab centre in the city to collect the package inserts I had requested. I asked them why they didn’t hand them out to parents before they had their child vaccinated.
They hummed and arghed. I asked them if they got thrown in the huge blue LOCKED bin behind their counter. They just looked at me.
Then I went to a park and read those inserts. I was livid. I still am.
How fucken ‘ dare they withhold that information.

Where is the uproar you ask? The pro-vac lobby is so strong in Aus that the only uproar comes from those brainwashed people who want the vaccines.
There is absolutely no way you can get through to people. People won’t even question the possibility that there could be a problem with vaccines, let alone imagine there could be an agenda behind them.
You can’t get through to people about anything. No one sees the chemtrails. Everyone loves the fluoride in the water. No one has heard of the TPP and if they do, they don’t have any interest in doing anything about it. And any poor soul who tries to find out information about these and any other subject comes up against the mass of disinfo out there. They see that and believe it. Game over. All is well. God help us. We are only 2 steps behind America.
I have had discussions with people about the “health” system and they just put the walls up. Not interested in hearing about the facts.
Some have become downright bloody nasty and have insulted me. I’d say that is a common occurrence amongst people who speak the truth sadly.
I’ve been talking with my husband about the chemtrails… They are really obvious here in central NSW but no one ever mentions a thing. It’s got to the point that I just don’t know how it is possible for people to still be so blind when there is such an obvious agenda!

I mean it creates for me at least, a discouragement in energy to look to the future with any good feelings towards it, so a bad attitude is born. Hi again folks. I had to come back and tell what just happened to me. I sent out the linked article on vac’s that theodorewesson left in his comment below, sent it to some old pub friends. I say old because I left that fake arena 3 yrs. ago and lost most of my acquaintances from my choice to retreat from party games.
Well this vac issue “used to be” big with these old friends and they “used to” read Jon all the time, so I sent it out to sort of say hi what’s up, looky here. Guess what ONE wrote me back already? First let me say this, I wrote one sentence with this attached email, it said, “what are people voting for?” because this is why I left that arena and try to convince these “friends” not to vote anymore either since no party stops any of this BS we are faced with today so what are people voting for I ask over and over again.
OK, so the reply was shocking and in line with all said in here about the zombie state of mind & behavior in majority of humans these days…….. the reply said, ” I dunno. Oh, that is what is not happening. On the contrary – nurses recently vaccinated against pertussis are coughing their lungs all over newborn babies, people who take their annual flu shot become sick with who knows what if not the flu and continue to spread their germs on public transportation well into the spring. No, so long as you are vaccinated you are allowed to spread any disease you may have. On a related note, I remember some years ago there was a kid in my daughter’s daycare who was coughing so badly that there was no way it could have been just common cold but sounded rather serious. I asked the teacher why he is not home and she said not to worry, both his parents are pediatricians and they said he was fine, so he must be. The next morning when I brought my daughter back he was not there and the teacher said he was in the intensive care unit. Reminds me of an old joke when a man comes to the doctor with symptoms and the doctor says: “oh, that’s nothing, we don’t worry about nothing”. The man comes back a week later with worse symptoms and the doctor says: “oh, you’re screwed, what you have is not treatable”

Just to clarify.
I’m fairly certain that you can still choose not to have your child vaccinated, after a verified discussion with your professional health carer, but if you do choose not to, then you aren’t entitled to any of the child and family support grants that about 39,000 kids’ families are eligible for ( they’re means tested by the way ).
People above certain income levels aren’t entitled to these family support grants, whether they vaccinate or not. So it targets low income strugglers, like many of the other cost cutting policies this government has installed.
Low incomers can still choose to not vax, but with some paperwork legwork, but they won’t be eligible for any financial help for child care or other essentials that are available.
PS This is why it’s called ‘no jab no pay’ here ( there’s a kids’ program called No Hat No Play here )
On the 24/4/15 , 7.30 abc news broadcast a story of a isolated community in the Kimberly had a Mumps outbreak where almost all had contracted it, though the entire community had been vaccinated, I have tried to follow up the story but the media have thrown a blanket over it. Interestingly the gov are trying to shut down many indigenous communities . I have been told that released indigenous prisoners are testing positive to being sterile after forced vaccine programs in prison. Mumps can cause sterilisation.

I live in Northern NSW (in Australia) and we have a very high percentage of parents who have made an informed choice and decided not to vaccinate their children (I am one of them). When I made the decision not to vaccinate I did 6 months of research – reading both Government publications (which were usually full of mistakes and more like propaganda) and books written by researchers “Every Second Child” by Archie Kalokerinos – an oldie but very compelling and absolutely explains cot deaths that are in most cases directly caused by vaccines compromising the immune systems of babies. I went to a couple of conferences and unfortunately when the doctors on a panel had all their arguments refuted they fell back on “those parents who do not vaccinate are guilty of child abuse”. For medical professionals vaccination is a sacred cow. Herd immunity is mostly a myth used to justify compulsory vaccination – think about it – if vaccinations worked, why would those who are vaccinated be at any risk of catching the disease from those not vaccinated?
There are rabid nutters on both sides of the fence – however, each side has a right to their opinion – IMHO, what is not acceptable is to force through with-holding government payments compulsory vaccination. It may even be possible that a few of the vaccinations actually do help – but parents should be given both sides of the story so they can make an informed choice – and in Australia, we are now a medical police state. And the number and frequency of the “recommended” vaccine program is ridiculous – it’s of course about making money for big pharma. In recent years I have seen a huge vindictive campaign by the Australian media and AMA (doctors) against organisations such as The Australian Vaccination-skeptics Network (AVN) http://avn.org.au/ based in northern NSW – the bullshit that the AMA spouts has to be heard to be believed – certainly is not a scientific or logical argument.
I think Australia is being used as a test case for squashing vaccination dissent – it has previously been used as a test case for many issues the Illumanti want to pursue. Unfortunately the sheeple have to wake up and most Australians are apathetic and easily distracted by Abbot bleating about ISIS (which we really have nothing to do with) and Gallipoli – beating the “Team Australia” drum – which really means – be part of the herd and don’t question. I for one do not feel proud to be Australia – as I’m sure lots of Americans no longer feel proud to call themselves American (or at least they should feel like this).
We currently have IMHO the most regressive government Australia has seen in at least 40 years – repression and control of the Internet (eg Data Retention bill) which means the end of whistle blowers like Julian Assange and soon an Internet filter – a racist prime minister that does not even understand the concept of Country for Aboriginal people (witness his famous gafe re Aboriginal living in remote settlements are there because of a lifestyle choice and therefore should not be funded by the taxpayer) – a government that has made being a refugee a military problem and thus we can’t discuss it because of “operational issues”; and now has sent refugees to effectively a third world country (Cambodia). The list goes on and on……
I read the article you are referring to in 2006- maybe you should? Possibly refer to it in context? Unless you are merely writing to an agenda. In that case don’t let the truth hold you back from a good story.

my first child was born in australia and my partner at the time would not immunise her. she is 10 years old and only been sick twice.
my son is 2 and had all his shots he has been sick since the day of the first one,… basically snot running out his nose all the time.
my daughter never had a snotty nose.
now my son has asthma and gets a cough that lasts all winter. basically, he is sick on average 5,6 times a year and he is only 2.
if you are wondering why i vaccinated him my partner now, his mother is a complete sceptic and wouldn’t listen to any information i tried to pass on. she is a highly educated women too with a law degree and now she studies media and journalism.
The worst person for Journalism and the ones the global establishment will pay for.

Now those damn vaccines. What really disturbs me (being a Christian gal) is the FACT that cells from aborted fetuses are used in them which put kids at risk for developing cancerous tumors. And these brainwashed parents try to make you feel guilty for vaccinating your own. Now here in California, the only vaccine exemption is medical, to attend public school.
I have become pretty damn convinced of the elites de-population agenda.
