Power Outside The Matrix: The Writer’s relentless pursuit

Yes, I believe my collection, Power Outside The Matrix can help people who want to become writers or much better writers. I did my best to make it a rocket for writers.

I’m talking about real writers, not parrots.

And the relentless pursuit of something new. Always. Because what he’s already done becomes old. He knows that. He covers ground and that’s that. Then he moves on.

He can’t wait for millions of people to catch up. He’s not in that business. He’s not selling the same hot dogs over and over.

The shift to the new is not just about content and subject matter. It’s about how he expresses himself. How he writes. He can’t go on and on with the same way of writing forever.

He’s an explorer. After he’s made the journey to one unmapped country, he sails to another.

This is how he keeps himself going.

If you made a list of great writers and then read them, you’d notice each one wrote differently. They weren’t great because they all adhered to one style.

There is no one style.

There is no single universal mind with one set of rhythms and one way of expression. That’s a fantasy entertained by people who aren’t artists.

Every real artist is unique. He stands out from and against The One Unity, which is a philosophic fiction invented for the purpose of control.

Knowing this, the writer turns that apple cart upside down.

The One Unity is a metaphysical glazed donut.

It’s hypnotic. The writer breaks the trance and the spell.

When he does, people who are under the spell say, “I don’t understand what he’s doing.” But somewhere down deep, they do understand. An explosion has detonated and it’s working its way to the surface.

We’re in an extreme technological age, which has its own hypnotic spells. The dome heads of technology are floating along on a platform that is supported by pillars they believe are firm and powerful. They’re wrong. The pillars are already cracking. The whole edifice is tilting. Because so much of the technology and the language surrounding it are dead.

Real writing exposes the lie of that language. It cuts it to ribbons.

The writer relentlessly pursues what hasn’t been done before, by and with his imagination.

He finds his way by inventing the way.

My instructions to writers in my Power Outside The Matrix collection aren’t a cage you climb into.

Don’t think about writing as a cage.

You’re outside, not inside.

That should be why you’re a writer.

In my tutorial, I’m not laying down hard and fast rules. I’m not asking for obedience. I give you tools, but you decide how to use them. And you never become a slave to your tools.

If you do opt for slavery, your writing is going to strike the ear in an artificial way. It won’t ring bells. It’ll clang. It’ll come across as trumped-up.

I aim to liberate writers, not pin them down.

Once you feel free and write free, you can shape your work in all sorts of different ways. If you start out trying to shape your work, you’ll stall and dead end.

You’re not aiming to be a trained monkey.

We already have far too many of those.

And let me say something about the craft of writing. You know where you pick that up? From reading other writers. It comes through to you by osmosis. It’s the way a child learns to speak. He listens to people speaking, and he grasps what’s happening.

It’s wholesale, not retail.

Faith, self-belief, and determination are wellsprings of a writer. And when faith falters, determination is the key. You’re going to write, no matter what, come hell or high water.

That works.

In Power Outside The Matrix, my goal is to transmit the electricity of being a writer. In all my discussions, I come back to that.

Because, you see, being a writer is a LIFE.

It’s not just a career. The career comes out of the life.

Far too many people in this world opt for a career and then try to make a life out of it. That’s normal. That’s standard. That’s a long street that narrows and turns into an alley that ends at a blank wall.

If I loaded you down with tips and tricks and rules, I’d be directing you to that alley. I’d never do that.

If you order Power Outside The Matrix, dive into it. My aim is bringing out the writer in you—bringing out the life of the writer, so you see it and see it as your own and nobody else’s.

Writers give us what we need.

And one more thing for now. Writers say to us, “You can sit there and pretend you don’t know what I’m talking about, you can pretend you’re dumb, but I know something is getting through. And whatever that something is, it’s ESSENTIAL. It makes all the difference. It’s a glimpse of what you really want.”

The book has become a sought-after item, since its publication in 1988. It contains material about viruses, medical testing, and the invention of disease that is, now and in the future, vital to our understanding of phony epidemics arising in our midst (and how to analyze them). I assure you, the revelations in the book will surprise you; they cut much deeper and are more subtle than “virus made in a lab” scenarios.

* A 2-hour radio interview I did on AIDS in Dec 1987 with host Roy Tuckman on KPFK in Los Angeles, California.

* My book, The Secret Behind Secret Societies

(All the audio presentations are mp3 files and the books are pdf files. You download the files upon purchase. You’ll receive an email with a link to the entire collection.)

This is about your power. Not as an abstract idea, but as a living core of your being. This is about accessing that power and using it to invent realities without end.

That’s what Power Outside The Matrix is all about.

The only true freedom, Mr. Rappaport, is being a child of God and in a state of grace. No demonic constructs can topple that.

It’s wonderful that there are wise mentors that can help writers of whatever skill to become better at the craft of writing. And to encourage new writers to begin.

But there’s a critical something in addition to this that we desperately need these days. We need a great course in helping people to be READERS of that writing. Of how to understand and discern the words and ideas and concepts beig conveyed by the writer. Of how to use critical analytical but yet free-as-a-bird thinking and reasoning to what the Reader has just read.

A writer can create a brilliant work of text. A masterpiece, even. But if people no longer have the basic cognitive skills to read it and understand it well enough to start thinking about it – the process is badly dysfunctional. Like having a gallery of beautiful masterpiece paintings in a grand gallery but no one has any idea of what they are looking at and why. Or even why they are standing in that gallery in the first place.

Good writing is precious. But good writing without good reading and discernment is an exercise in futility and frustration. A grand transaction without a completion.

Our World today suffers from a deep sickness of cognitive unawareness and psychic slumber. Billions of people sleepwalking through their lives and hardly aware of the what is going on around them and the magnificent of this Grand Creation… the Great Life Matrix that the quantum world conjures up for us every moment. Like a great motion picture that runs 24/7.

But the greatest picture show ever made means nothing if there’s no one sitting in the theater to watch it. Or worse… if they prefer to squint at the little box in their hands every waking moment. The Little Box of Enslavement and Dispowerment.

We desperately need a master course in Reading. And a remedial course to teach people how to live again instead of just sleepwalking through Life. A whole World of confused and
deadened souls that have lost their way and hardly know to care to find their way back to living a useful and meaningful life.

To paraphrase an old saying… If you write a matsterpiece but there’s no one around to read it… does it really make a sound?

    • Sean says:

My imagination supersedes frequency/vibration. And yet creating sound seems to expand my awareness and imagination. Even if it is crackling and isn’t really in a familiar spectrum. I’m sure my neighbors can read it.
