The Matrix Revealed: logic as a tool for the mind

by Jon Rappoport

I originally developed and wrote my logic course as a stand-alone instruction in analysis. It is now included (at a much lower price) as part of my collection, The Matrix Revealed.

The logic course offers passages of text for analysis. Flaws are purposely placed in the text (and later explained). These flaws are fallacies often used to divert the mind.

Logic first appeared in the West as a crucial element embedded in Plato’s Dialogues. Aristotle followed up and began to codify the subject. To say these men provided a breakthrough would be a vast understatement.

They established a platform for all future thought.

Science (in its proper inquiry, drained of political interests) requires a logical approach to research and experimentation. Linking evidence to conclusions happens through the use of logic. The replication of scientific studies involves a rational inquiry into methods and standards. Without logic, the whole enterprise would collapse.

And yet, our schools don’t require the study of logic, if they even offer courses in it. Instead, ideas and values are peddled like necessities of life.

I wrote my logic course to offset this trend.

Here are the full contents of my collection, The Matrix Revealed, including the course in logic:

* 250 megabytes of information.

* Over 1100 pages of text.

* Ten and a half hours of audio.

The 2 bonuses alone are rather extraordinary:

* My complete 18-lesson course, LOGIC AND ANALYSIS, which includes the teacher’s manual and audio to guide you. I was previously selling the course for $375. This is a new way to teach logic, the subject that has been missing from schools for decades.

* The complete text (331 pages) of AIDS INC., the book that exposed a conspiracy of scientific fraud deep within the medical research establishment. The book has become a sought-after item, since its publication in 1988. It contains material about viruses, medical testing, and the invention of disease that is, now and in the future, vital to our understanding of phony epidemics arising in our midst. I assure you, the revelations in the book will surprise you; they cut much deeper and are more subtle than “virus made in a lab” scenarios.

The heart and soul of this product are the text interviews I conducted with Matrix-insiders, who have first-hand knowledge of how the major illusions of our world are put together:

* ELLIS MEDAVOY, master of PR, propaganda, and deception, who worked for key controllers in the medical and political arenas. 28 interviews, 290 pages.

* RICHARD BELL, financial analyst and trader, whose profound grasp of market manipulation and economic-rigging is formidable, to say the least. 16 interviews, 132 pages.

* JACK TRUE, the most creative hypnotherapist on the face of the planet. Jack’s anti-Matrix understanding of the mind and how to liberate it is unparalleled. His insights are unique, staggering. 43 interviews, 320 pages.

Also included:

* Several more interviews with brilliant analysts of the Matrix. 53 pages.

* The ten and a half hours of mp3 audio are my solo presentation, based on these interviews and my own research. Title: The Multi-Dimensional Planetary Chessboard—The Matrix vs. the Un-Conditioning of the Individual.

(All the material is digital. Upon ordering it, you’ll receive an email with a link to it.)

This work is all about reinstating individual power, above and beyond what the Matrix implies and stands for. It is about insight, yes—but it is also about liberating one’s consciousness from the habit of accepting life on the terms by which it is given to us.

Thought and action can align themselves with Matrix, or they can strike out in a far more adventurous and galvanizing direction. A thrilling direction unique to each individual.

We do need to reflect on Plato’s and Aristotle’s contributions, now more than ever. They showed us that logic is the best tool to test the validity of an idea. Logic is sometimes confused with wit. Clever linguistic tricks, such as parody, faux outrage, faux objectivity, etc. are just ways to make a critic seem superior to the idea being criticized. None of us is objective or rational by nature, but the rules of logic, if used in a disciplined manner, allow us to express rational thoughts.

No one is rational: Judges are more likely to be more lenient after lunch. Scientists almost never criticize or even question the position of the organization they work for. Comfort and survival, hormonal influences, peer pressure, fear of ridicule – these pull on our thoughts much more strongly than reason. That’s what it means to be human. Nothing wrong with that in the private sphere. It is possible to live a fulfilling, creative life guided primarily by intuition and feelings, because we are supported by an infrastructure based on the practical application of logic.

Suppose, however, that engineers building a bridge took a vote to decide how much steel to use, rather than doing the proper calculations. And suppose the contractor decided that his opinion was more important, so he could disregard the engineers?

That is why politics is so polarized today – without logic, our debates and discussion have no steel in them, so to win, you just have to have more contempt for the other side than they do for you. It is a winning strategy if you can persuade enough people to join you. You can ban the ideas you disapprove of, just by having the most influential people on your side. The winners end up building the bridge their way, but what is the point if it collapses after the winners have enjoyed their success?

If Socrates were alive today, he would be banned from Twitter – no need for a trial. The IT infrastructure we build with logic and ingenuity, is being used to circumvent logical discussion. It becomes very clear that there are two applications of logic – technological, and teleological. What is our purpose – what are we up to? What kind of world do we want for the next generation? We put our trust in the tech that logic built to get us through each day, but fail to learn to use logic to discuss what we are up to, in a manner inspired by Plato’s dialogues.

“Logic as a tool for the mind” … to interact with other minds.

I prize deductive logic very highly. I am specially interested in the foundations of logic. Some people think that quantum physics has raised doubts about the absolute validity of logic. Some people think that logic is only a product of human experience and is acquired by humans through evolution by empirical experiences.

Where do you think logic comes from? How do you know that ‘A is A’ Or that ‘A is not -A’ ? Is logic only a property of human mind or animals also have logic?

    What do you think?

    • Greg C. says:

Logic is an invention – a set of rules so that people can agree on the validity of statements that be deduced from common assumptions. It is not a framework for reality itself, when you venture outside the bounds of common assumptions. Nor does it dictate that there is one fundamental reality that is objective. So there is no absolute rule that for any ‘A’, ‘A’ is not (not A). Logic can only by applied to syllogisms, to reasoning.

It’s easy to see the limitations of logic when studying the classical “proofs” for the existence of God, or when listening to atheists who are convinced that lack of proof implies non-existence. We are in a post-modern era now, having exhausted the limits of reason. This does not require us to abandon reason, but to realize its limitations, and respect its power within the proper scope. A lot of confusion is due to absolutists on either side, who either believe that reason is an absolute in all spheres, or on the other side, who believe that reason is useless. Then there are those who just take reason for granted, thinking that all “normal” people are reasonable.

There are countless ways to misunderstand reason and logic.

  3. “It’s easy to see the limitations of logic when studying the classical “proofs” for the existence of God,”

Do you think that limitations of logic prove logic to be wrong? Do these limitations prove that A is not A?

  4. Keanu says:

We live in a world where people no longer rely on facts or the importance of Individuality. We now live in a world where being authentic and true to your Self is a criminal offense. A world where you’re not allowed to go beyond that of which limits your imagination and conscious, creative impulses. And all we are left with is a society where there are no morals/ethics, no ability to apply rationality and reason, and we are left with a system of broken dreams and pitiful excuses for making false civilizations.

“Emotions neither prove nor disprove facts. There was a time when any rational adult understood this. But years of dumbed-down education and emphasis on how people ‘feel’ have left too many people unable to see through this media gimmick.”

    ~ Thomas Sowell
