The Matrix Revealed: the breakthrough

My first mega-collection, The Matrix Revealed, was the breakthrough for me.

I had accumulated over a thousand pages of interviews with two men, hypnotherapist Jack True, and Ellis Medavoy (pseudonym), a retired propaganda master who had worked for elite insiders on major psyops of the 20th century.

I realized I had, in my hands, a nuts and bolts description of “mind control and mind freedom,” at a deep level. A very deep level. It exceeded anything I had come across in my research.

Jack True, in particular, a man I had collaborated with for several years, had a unique understanding of what he called “the invisible hypnotic effect,” under whose influence a person could remain quite active in life, while staying asleep in his core.

That “sleep” cut him off from his actual potential and power. And cut off, he would lapse back into a semblance of “normalcy” and, as Jack put it, “subconsciously accept the world as his equal, when in fact he should be able to rise above the subconscious rules that bind him.”

Jack dedicated his life and work to that proposition, and in the interviews I did with him, he explores the astonishing discoveries he made with his patients—and much more. (43 interviews, 320 pages)

Ellis Medavoy, the propaganda master, exposes the opposite side of that coin: the manipulation of the mind for subversive purposes, employing psychological principles and strategies few psychologists are even aware of.

The contrasts and match-ups between Jack and Ellis form a sum that is far greater than the parts.

I came to see they were both talking about the Matrix and its deepest aspects. This was the insight that provided me the culmination of 20 years of my own research.
