Logic & Analysis

by Jon Rappoport

December 10, 2016

When logic is taught at all, it is usually handled in an abstract fashion. Students examine very simple patterns of reasoning and learn which patterns are correct and which are incorrect.

When analysis of realistic text is taught at all, it usually involves dissecting literature to find out what the author is “really trying to say.”

I wasn’t satisfied with either approach. So when I created my course (further details below), I changed the priorities. Students do learn something about abstract thinking—but they are also taught how the most important and destructive fallacies seep into news reports, PR releases, scientific journalism, editorials, and political arguments.

The core of the course consists of text passages that resemble the kind of information people encounter every day. These passages contain multiple logical errors, and with the help of the teacher, students root out the errors and, in the process, become much smarter, much sharper, less easily fooled.

The Founders of this country wrote a 1st Amendment to the Constitution that enshrined free speech as an essential element in the new Republic. They clearly understood that, for this to work, citizens needed to be able to analyze information and make independent choices in every area of life.

Or to put it another way, if citizens were unable to handle free speech (uncontrolled information), the whole Republic would sink into a swamp. Deception and confusion would reign, and the basic principles of the Great American Experiment would drown in a sea of forgetfulness.

Look around you. Look at the size and power of central government. Compare this situation to the content of the Constitution and its forthright description of limited government.

What happened?

Well, one of the chief things that happened was the gradual diminishing of the Citizen Mind.

In particular, citizens lost the ability to analyze and see through the ongoing political debate about the future course of the Republic.

Logic, which was first revealed to the world in the cradle of Western civilization, Athens, 2400 years ago, has faded from the education curriculum and sunk below the waves.

I created my course as a step toward restoring the genuine power of the individual. After all, at the heart of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution is the determination to form a society in which the individual is primary. If that is lost, we have lost everything.

I believe home schooling is our last and best opportunity to elevate the individual to his/her rightful place.

I understand that parents have many reasons for wanting to home school. Among these reasons is the desire to avoid the social engineering that has been injected into the public educational system. However, clinging to the conventional curriculum in the classroom, even if that classroom is the living room or the kitchen or the patio, is not going to remedy all the problems of public schooling.

The great missing factor in public schools is logic, as it was once taught. Information without true logic is like government without a Constitution. The result is a spreading fungus.

Here is the syllabus of my Logic and Analysis course.

* The course is taught in 18 class sessions.

* The first two sessions are filled with short examples of logical fallacies.

* The third and fourth sessions examine slightly longer passages of text that contain multiple logical errors.

* Sessions five through 16 take up, in great depth, long passages that read like newspaper articles, political statements, PR, and internet journalism. Students learn how to identify and explain, in specific terms, the logical flaws these passages contain.

* Sessions 17 and 18 are the final exam and the teacher’s dissection of the exam.

* The teacher’s manual and an accompanying audios lay out each session’s lesson plan. The lesson plans include my explanations of the passages and the errors they illustrate.

The sessions do not challenge faith or personal conviction. They are designed to enable a bright student to take apart a written text, an argument, a visual presentation — and discover whether it is valid, whether it truly makes sense, whether it has holes in it.

The sessions teach the traditional logical fallacies, offer many sample passages and exercises, quizzes, tests, and simple teacher’s manuals and daily lesson plans.

The Logic and Analysis course is included in my Matrix Revealed collection (complete details below). I have seen other people offering school courses that are amazingly expensive.

I undercut those levels by a wide margin.

Let’s face it. We are living in a world where the notion of individual freedom and power are under attack. Sustaining that freedom involves knowing how to deal with propaganda designed to make us into confused collectivists. When young people possess the know-how and the confidence to see through these shams, they are equipped to succeed.

The Matrix Revealed

Here are the contents of The Matrix Revealed:

* 250 megabytes of information.

* Over 1100 pages of text.

* Ten and a half hours of audio.

The 2 bonuses alone are rather extraordinary:

* My complete 18-lesson course, LOGIC AND ANALYSIS, which includes the teacher’s manual and audio to guide you. I was previously selling the course for $375. This is a new way to teach logic, the subject that has been missing from schools for decades.

* The complete text (331 pages) of AIDS INC., the book that exposed a conspiracy of scientific fraud deep within the medical research establishment. The book has become a sought-after item, since its publication in 1988. It contains material about viruses, medical testing, and the invention of disease that is, now and in the future, vital to our understanding of phony epidemics arising in our midst. I assure you, the revelations in the book will surprise you; they cut much deeper and are more subtle than “virus made in a lab” scenarios.

The heart and soul of this product are the text interviews I conducted with Matrix-insiders, who have first-hand knowledge of how the major illusions of our world are put together:

* ELLIS MEDAVOY, master of PR, propaganda, and deception, who worked for key controllers in the medical and political arenas. 28 interviews, 290 pages.

* JACK TRUE, the most creative hypnotherapist on the face of the planet. Jack’s anti-Matrix understanding of the mind and how to liberate it is unparalleled. His insights are unique, staggering. 43 interviews, 320 pages.

* RICHARD BELL, financial analyst and trader, whose profound grasp of market manipulation and economic-rigging is formidable, to say the least. 16 interviews, 132 pages.

Also included:

* Several more interviews with brilliant analysts of the Matrix. 53 pages.

* The ten and a half hours of mp3 audio are my solo presentation, based on these interviews and my own research. Title: The Multi-Dimensional Planetary Chessboard—The Matrix vs. the Un-Conditioning of the Individual.

(All the material is digital. Upon ordering it, you’ll receive an email with a link to it.)

Understanding Matrix is also understanding your capacity and power, and that is the way to approach this subject. Because liberation is the goal. And liberation has no limit.

I invite you to a new exploration and a great adventure.

I have been interested in home schooling my whole life. The first book I read was “How To Start Your Own School”, written Robert Love, proprietor of the Love Box Company of Wichita, Kansas, published in 1973. I ordered it and read it while I was a student at the Army Element of the Navy School of Music at the Naval Amphibious Base in Little Creek, Norfolk, Virginia. Over the years I have been a public school student, a private school student, and an autodidact. I’ve read many books on the subject of schooling, including the writings of John Taylor Gatto and Charlotte Iserbyt.

  2. As a preamble, many months ago I purchased ‘The Matrix Revealed Collection.’ Although its the only one purchased so far, I do plan on getting the rest.

In any case, the Logic And Analysis BY ITSELF is worth the price of the whole collection. The Logic course builds on itself, and will help people see reality a lot more sharper and will help strip away the illusions that much of the media peddles. Not only that, but you as an individual will be able to think more clearly, and be more precise in thoughts/action.

As someone who’s an autodidact, and supports homeschooling, Logic should be one of the first, if not the first tools people should consider implementing. Am saying all this for people that might be on the fence about getting this or aren’t sure. As a bonus, the rest of the collection is like having X-mas three days in a row, really. Am grateful that they’re there, and the information is still being processed, but the Logic collection is the one tool to we all have to make sure is part of our individual repertoire

GET THIS COLLECTION. Its worth it.

Another notable point is, society in droves ends up investing so much time and money into things that net nigh no benefit, or really, zero benefits. In fact, arguments could be made that some things like watching “Reality TV” net NEGATIVE benefits, but we won’t go there.

Why not try and invest into something that’s going to make you a more incisive individual? Think about it, when’s the last time you – the individual reading this – invested into something that would help you enormously in life. How often does that happen?

As an adjunct, would also add for prudent individuals getting Peter Kreeft’s Socratic Logic book:

    https://www.amazon.com/Socratic-Logic-Questions-Aristotelian-Principles/dp/1587318083/

It’s phenomenal, and also well worth the money.

  3. John says:

Reality says both parents need to work in today’s society to make “ends meet.” Who has the time to home school their children? Home schooling is a great concept but is it practical today? I am all for the home schooling process, but how is it financially possible or feasible?

    • Terri says:

John, whose reality says that? society wants you to think its not possible so you join the collectivist march of death,. Anything is possible if your desire is greater than your fear or doubt. I don’t believe in excuses. Mothers should not be working, the work they should be doing which is the highest of callings is to nurture and raise their children to be happy, thinking, self aware, responsible adults. “having it all” is a lie. You already have it all when you have a child, or another type of life’s work. Being a mother or father is not for everyone, and its okay to not choose to have children if you are not willing to keep such a commitment. Too many feel children are property or toys which they only take out and play with when they feel like it.
I appreciate what Rumi has to say about our children. http://oneheartforpeace.blogspot.com/2011/03/rumi-why-our-children-need-us-to-fly.html
One of my favorites is Kahlil Gibran’s On Children
      http://www.katsandogz.com/onchildren.html
Osho has much to say about children, and many other things, he is a true master.

Anything less than 125% commitment only contributes to the degradation of society. A republic is an advanced form of government, and apathetic, lazy, ignorant people can not have one. It requires excellence and morality. We should have never gotten to this point where people expect the state to raise their children. No one has the right to complain if they are participating in this. The sooner people realize you cant have a gourmet meal with a mcdonalds attitude, the sooner things can change. This is the root of fascism. What I write may seem harsh, but the truth at this point is not pretty, as we have seen with all the wikileaks and other revelations. This is what happens when people reject responsibility and all that is natural. Its going to look ugly. it cant be beautiful. Until people are willing to discuss and admit what has happened, nothing can change. This is where the elites count on the ego to keep the slaves slaves, for the need to be right instead of happy continues the program.

This is about responsibility, not blame. Its being able to say the way i was raised was wrong, and I will not do that to my children. I will do whatever it takes to honor them, and in turn, myself, and repair the damage done and walk the path of consciousness, beauty, love and honor.

i am glad Jon agrees that this is the most important thing we can do right now to save our republic, it’s what i have been saying for a long time.

Two people do not have to work, they can decide that one salary can be enough and then go out and make it happen. There are many free events and programs offered, there is no reason to waste time locked up in a bizarre dysfunctional un reality called school. Many churches have home school groups, and for single moms they could create a cooperative home school group with friends and neighbors. Many single women can start their own businesses, and their children can be at home with them, helping out and learning. Learning how to cut hair doesn’t require a degree. Everyone has a talent that makes them unique, a gift to offer the world. Children need to be out in nature, and volunteering at a farm or having your own is imperative to the human species surviving in any semblance of consciousness. Our connection to the earth is important to our very sanity.

Humans do not take the commitment and responsibility of having and raising children seriously. Children must know they come first, and they are THE priority. If we would like to have a constitutional republic, and a healthy functional society, the children must be treated as the treasure and foundation of this society. The public school system is unconstitutional, and should be abolished. It is nothing but propaganda, a collectivist nightmare.

When we hold our children in such esteem, we heal our own inner wounds and unconscious memories of rejection and fear and despair which come from modern child rearing. Our priorities naturally change, and the world appears very different.

How many even know what a natural child looks like? The hordes of school children are not natural, they are not real. They are medicated, manipulated, judged and surveilled. Generation after generation has become the next victim of the police/nanny state.

There are many types of homeschooling. I will say that I don’t see enough logic within the homeschooling community. We are the generation who are breaking free and doing something we know nothing about, we only have our hearts to guide us. It will get better.

Real learning only comes thru experience and that is why I think the unschooling approach is the best. Respect them and answer their questions. Focus on your childs interests, get out and do things, set a good example for them to emulate. Give them lots of options, listen to them, always encourage, and let them tell you what they would like to do. A natural child does know what they want, and they will tell you. They have creativity that most of us have forgotten or never developed. Practice the Four Agreements, and your children will too. Learn and study the Articles of Confederation, the Constitution, the Declaration…

Restoring our republic and freedom can happen, one family at a time.

      • John says:

Why don’t we start with the PTA, keep education local, try to stifle the Teacher’s unions influence on the education system and tell the federal government/Common Core to go take a hike. Bring education back to the local and state level, we could start there.

Embrace vouchers and charter schools. Get back to basic math and reading. Just try to motivate parents and ask them to take a genuine and meaningful interest in their children and their future.

How do we get to the point of homeschooling becoming a viable option when we can’t even get most parents to attend a PTA meeting?

        • Terri says:

John, that is my point. these people are not qualified to have children and are diminishing freedom and quality of life. i do not consider people like that parents, they are not even adults.
If humans are so out of whack they need to be encouraged to be involved with their children’s lives, then fascism, which is state control of the people, has already taken over.
Society and humans today are not real, they are plastic, as artificial as the AI they are making in their own image. At this point, most can not imagine what it would be like to not have government interference. They demand to be policed and manipulated and controlled.

Vouchers and charter schools require too much government involvement and are not powers given to the government by the people thru the constitution.

Most humans are at a primitive peasant level, as they were during Dickens’ time. They think too much of themselves due to being given technology and should not be supported in any way by the state. it only enables the nanny/police state and makes humans weaker and better victims for some to profit on. How absurd that someone who works at mcdonalds thinks they should be paid 15 dollars an hour!
What does that mean for professionals, such as accountants who make the same, and who paid for an education and worked and work hard in their positions? The agenda is everyone is the same and laziness and refusal to think for oneself is rewarded….Communism.
Yuri Bezmenov, former kgb and soviet diplomat speaks of this in his lectures after he defected to America in the 80’s.
          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLqHv0xgOlc
All government agencies are involved in this subversion, as Eisenhower spoke about, as have many others.

You can not have a functioning republic if children are “educated” and you can study the Carnegie foundation and their plans for society thru education. A congressional investigatory panel was created to investigate and their findings shocked many. It was created to instill obedience in the peasant class. children learn from the people who raise them and they emulate them, so children can not be intelligent if they are raised to be common. “Education” can not be fixed, for it was not created to elevate humanity. It is a myth to think otherwise, which is why the system has become worse over the last 20 to 30 years.
Its hard, practically impossible to break out of programming and think differently, but it can be done. Humans will cling to their beliefs, and even die for them, instead of choosing logic and thinking for themselves.

Children learn, its a lie they are taught anything, just ego aggrandizement by others and an excuse to keep these failed systems alive. The best thing we can do is get out of their way, give them encouragement and the tools they need to learn and grow.

John, my family homeschools on a very small budget. My husband works while I teach our child. Want to know his job? He is a server at Chilis. His GROSS annual income is an average of $40000. We receive no government handouts and no loans or assistance at all. We live in a small home, we drive cars with a lot of mileage on them, and we don’t go on many vacations. But homeschooling forums/groups/co-ops have tons of thrifty/free ideas you can capitalize on, plus we are constantly swapping books/kits/etc. My family also chooses to stress different types apprenticeships (volunteer work for my kid’s age). Although the bells and whistles are nice, they aren’t necessary (and in many cases are harmful, IMO). You would be surprised how many ways you can teach your child for free! Hey, my car is old, and sure, sometimes the bills aren’t paid on time, but my child is going to receive learn in an environment where she will learn about the importance of the individual and the limitless potential of her own energy and creativity.

Homeschooling may be getting more difficult to accomplish, at least in California.

California state senator Richard Pan, credited with getting SB 277 vaccination mandate passed into law goes the next step for state control of body and mind:

    http://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billTextClient.xhtml?bill_id=201720180SB18#

    • jacobite2015 says:

Speaking of SB 277…it still amazes me beyond belief how this bill ever passed. This was a Democratic initiated and sponsored bill. Where the heck were the Republicans to do everything possible on the floor to stop this bill from pasing? Are the Republicans now giving in to the CDC and Big Pharma? (Imagine that).

The bill not only affects public school students, but those who want to enroll in private schools! Are you kidding me?…compulsory vaccination to enroll in a private institution! (I thought our Forefathers wanted to keep Government out of the private sector as much as possible?).

Are where were the California citizens to protest the passing of this bill? A bill that erodes the FREEDOM OF CHOICE and Individual Rights granted by the Constitution for every American citizen. Do Californian’s not understand what the Constitutation represents for individual freedom and rights, free from Government control & oppression? Perhaps they’re all out surfing and too involved with the reality TV, sports, partying, etc. Or maybe they just don’t care about the eroding of their freedoms occuring right before their eyes (likely choice, IMO).

I’ve posted before that I believe the passing of SB 277 is the impetus of things to come with other states. When the most populated state of the Union can get through an egregious bill like this, many other states have taken note and will be motivated to push through similar legislation. The battles have just started.

And those that think the Aristocrat Trump will save the day with this vaccine issue…think again. Afterall he’s a Republican, and the Republican’s did such a fine job in stopping SB 277. Sadly, I can envision Mr. Trump eventually being mind-controlled by the CDC, and jumping on board with CDC’s philosophy that every human should be fully immunized in the name of human health & safety.

Bad days await us all with vaccination…

      • J Bishop says:

http://senate.ca.gov/senators 27 Dem, 13 Rep (Democrats have a 2/3 majority in the state senate)

The ratio was almost as bad (is as bad now) in the Assembly:

        https://ballotpedia.org/California_State_Assembly_elections,_2016

Some Democrats opposed SB 277, most Republicans did, but it was pretty much a done deal even with the level of opposition that I think many found surprising. The groups that showed up to protest and voice their position at each committee hearing (which was insultingly restricted to only being allowed to say your name, your district, and whether you “support” or “oppose” the bill) after waiting in line for hours, after driving for hours to be there were said to be the largest seen for some time. The media coverage in the state obscured the level of opposition, too. The contempt shown in the Senate Health Committee hearing (where I think they were trying to agitate and paint those opposed as crazy) makes for some pathetic viewing. They backed off on the open display of contempt in the Senate Education Committee hearing, though there was a conspicuous display of Senator Pan taking cues from a lobbyist standing right behind him on how to proceed when the chair suggested a vote delay. The same lobbyist was also seen delivering envelopes to some committee members during the hearing. That uncertain vote was delayed until after a “routine” reorganization of the committee which then just happened to forward the bill. The bill was fast tracked avoiding going through the Senate Finance Committee to the floor and the Assembly calendar was then moved up and accelerated (I think they wanted to shorten the increasing public discussion and awareness of vaccine injury, vaccination failures, and vaccine research fraud that the bill motivated). Still I think at least half of the citizenry in California don’t know anything has happened to undermine their right to say no (which most didn’t know they had in the first place).

I personally think the state is too big.

Fortunately most (about all) of similar bills floated at the same time in several other states didn’t get the same legislative support.

        • jacobite2015 says:

Thanks for all that info…but I don’t buy for one minute that the Republicans couldn’t have done more. They could have filibustered the bill, they could have been disruptive during floor debates, they could have been more outspoken & aggressive with the media. They could have played dirty pool…just like the Democrats do so often when they don’t like certain bills. I honestly don’t think the Republicans ever gave a Sh&t.

And the California people? What a total joke. You would think with all those think-tank Universities over there (e.g., Stanford, Cal, UCLA, etc.) that they have learned by now how risky and dangerous vaccines can be. At the very least, you would have thought Californian’s would have learned that forced medical treatment is against the principles of freedom (in the case of SB 277, no vaccines – no public OR private school…forced medical treatment with the penalty for refusal being denied an education).

And with California having near 40 million population, where were the millions of people protesting this bill with marches across the state? Were they to busy smoking dope and glued to reality TV? Lol. What a pathetic situation…the Republican legislators should be ashamed of themselves and not run for reelection. And the pathetic California doormat citizens got what they deserved: Forced medical treatment!!!

    • Terri says:

“Nothing but the natural ignorance of the public, countenanced by the inoculated erroneousness of the ordinary general medical practitioners, makes such a barbarism as vaccination possible…….Recent developments have shown that an inoculation made in the usual general practitioner’s light-hearted way, without previous highly skilled examination of the state of the patient’s blood, is just as likely to be a simple manslaughter as a cure or preventive. But vaccination is nothing short of attempted murder. A skilled bacteriologist would just as soon think of cutting his child’s arm and rubbing the contents of the dustpan into the wound, as vaccinating it in the same.”― George Bernard Shaw

“As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation.” Adolph Hitler
