Trump succeeding as president would be equivalent to: forcing Progressive vampires to walk through Death Valley at high noon

If Trump, as president, revived the economy by bringing jobs back to America—if he achieved that one goal—out of their coffins, out of the darkness, forced into blinding light, progressive Leftist vampires would fill the air from coast to coast with hideous screams and death rattles.

No free everything? Actual jobs? Work? What? And he, the Trump, made that happen? Trump, the enemy of enemies? Aieeeeeeeeeee!

To make things even worse, suppose, just suppose, Trump brought back manufacturing work for…black people? And for immigrants who were living legally in America?

Surely, that would be a sign of the end of the world.

Progressive vampires, at that point—those that managed to survive—would storm the offices of giant media networks and accuse them of failing to cover up the skyrocketing jobs figures. They would suck the blood and marrow from the bodies of television anchors and reporters. Traitors all!

Little quasi-vampires living in Mommy’s cellar would, in a state of extreme paranoia, barricade themselves against what they imagined were armies of approaching head hunters from agencies offering them steady work.

Never! Where is the socialist state I was promised!

Suburban Democrat Witches would hold special ceremonies devised to recreate a beloved national blanket of Unemployment.

Remember the good old days when we could chat with a PhD serving us caramel lattes at that café on the beach? Even the dishwasher had a Masters in math. Now they’re buying houses! It’s grotesque!

Whether Trump will or won’t create tons of new jobs…the point is clear. Progressives see a thriving market economy as intrinsically satanic. It must be. It can’t be real. Marx proved that. Only the government can legitimately and morally invent work and jobs. Only then can people feel safe.

Exit From the Matrix

And in the institutions where learning and ideas are supposed to be of the highest caliber, reinvigorating the nation, most academics agree: Government as universal provider is the prime ideal.

They’re operating in that Progressive bubble, too. If they keep their noses clean and their eyes shut, and if they stick to the party line, they can play out the string all the way to a pension.

Don’t mess with my freebies! I’m a professor! Capitalism? Making a real living? How dare you! I’m above all that. Now excuse me, my makeup person is coming. I’m going on CNN to explain why the TPP must be ratified. Ford isn’t moving their plant to Mexico. Apple is talking about manufacturing phones in America. The end is near! I have to head off Armageddon!

Trump, no Trump, genuine economic prosperity here at home would be the equivalent of waving a silver cross at Dracula. The Progressives would be having visions of townsfolk with flaming torches storming their castles.

O the horror. The terrible horror.

People are going back to work.

    Great article. Here is another.

Thanks for the article. From the above article: “Sessions also fought legal immigration, including guest worker programs for illegal immigrants and visa programs for foreign workers in science, math and high-tech. In 2007, Sessions got a bill passed which essentially banned, for 10 years, federal contractors who hire illegal immigrants.

‘Legal immigration is the primary source of low-wage immigration into the United States,’’ Sessions argued in a 2015 Washington Post op-ed. ‘‘… What we need now is immigration moderation: slowing the pace of new arrivals so that wages can rise, welfare rolls can shrink, and the forces of assimilation can knit us all more closely together.’’ ”

I lived my whole life in California until several years ago. And all my tech friends were getting replaced by people on H-1B visas–for one friend they hired three people to replace her for a combined salary the same as hers, in oh-so-affordable San Francisco.

We can be reasonably assured that most tech people in California know nothing of this position of Sessions and voted for HRC. Certainly their replacements did!

Abundant jobs will restore dignity to the marketplace. When the demand for jobs outstrips the number of job seekers, applicants will no longer be treated like a number. Employees will be recognized as valuable instead of disposable. And when Obamacare goes down, holding 2 or 3 part-time jobs will become something to laugh about – never again!

I’m from Canada but most work pants I buy are made by Carhartt from Dearborn, MI. I buy them because they are well designed, well made, very durable and competitively priced. I’m not sure what Carharrt’s secret is, but you can tell pride goes into their product.

If Carhartt can do it, I see no reason why other companies cannot compete as well, particularly if tariffs start to be charged to oversees countries using slave labour to make their cheap disposable products. I’m not saying stop trade but there needs to be a better balance to achieve full employment concurrent with massively cutting back the welfare state to stem the tide of cancer eating away at the core of western civilization.

  8. John says:

The job situation in the USA today is largely being impacted by three key components: unfettered waves of illegal and legal immigration, draconian federal government regulations and automation.

It is common sense to put a pause on all forms of immigration to some degree. This has been done in the past because it is the only way a sovereign nation can survive. We need to look seriously at the climate change cult and those adhering to this political agenda who are shutting down our local economies for no logical reason. We also need to slow down the phase of replacing humans with machines.

Basically we need to get back to common sense and really empasize the survival of the middle class. Without the middle class, this nations turns into a third world hell hole. I am sick of a bunch of extreme liberals telling me 2+2= 379. They have perverted any kind of logic or reason in order to promote a failed Marxist agenda that has destroyed millions of lives throughout the last hundred years.

It is really scary to see people who live inside that insulated “progressive” bubble make gigantic decisions regarding this nation’s survival. Immigration with assimilation is logical, pauses of immigration help the assimilation process. We all want the earth to be a safe place but we also need our freedom. There needs to be a balance between preserving our planet, maintaining our liberty/values and keeping our nation from becoming destitute. All forms of energy should be put on the table, this is real capitalism. I am sick of the selling out of America. We produce the cleanest coal in the world yet we are going to pay other countries to do it more recklessly? We are going to shut down all our factories and then pay other countries to produce our goods and services? Plus we are going to pay these countries to bring these goods and services here by planes and boats creating more pollution? We are not saving the planet, we are just selling out the American worker in favor of slave labor and cheaper goods.

Oh how can we forget the progress of technology and automation. We currently watch scientific television programs which now tell us we have no control over the advancement of automation. How machines/robots will eventually evolve and be able to do anything. In the not too distant future, we are told machines/robots will be implanted with artificial intelligence, told that these machines/robots will be able to think for themselves and maybe take over the whole world. Human beings will eventually become obsolete. Am I the only one who finds this just plain sick and creepy? What sane person looks you directly in the eye with a straight face and tells you, “sorry we can’t do anything about this, it is all for the greater common good.”

The whole extreme liberal/globalist attitude seems to be predicated on humanity’s downfall. They seem to hate themselves and humanity overall. Every thought/action which they seem to have is based on some sort of self fulfilling prophecy regarding the end of the human race.

There is no hope for the earth unless the US destroys its entire economy? According to Al Gore we need to spend 90 trillion dollars to get rid of all the automobiles in major cities throughout the world. I mean when are these maniacs promoting this insanity going to be held accountable? When is this constant onslaught against freedom and common sense going to be pushed back against? What will it take for America to wake up? The pendulum has simply swung too far in one direction. It is unnatural what the globalists are doing. It is not an insane plan but just pure evil. The time is now to start exposing this crime against humanity.

  9. Jacqueline says:

Increasing productivity and employment opportunities in America is certainly a most noble endeavor. However, as long as the Federal Reserve ‘elephant’ remains in the room, we remain debt slaves and leave ourselves ever open to imposition of the NWO. Following Iceland’s example of flipping off the World Bank, jailing the bankers, and structuring a true currency would go far to squash our current economic disaster and revive the Republic to its originally intended form.

  10. Daniel says:

Well, your so called freedom loving hero is getting ready to dismantle ‘net neutrality’ the moment he steps into office. Already appointed two staunch neocons who are radically anti net neutrality to oversee the FCC.
This, together with his other horrible appointments of freedom hating corporate shills, such as the ones for the CIA, attorney general etc. is a really really bad sign…

    • Greg C. says:

Thank you, Daniel. That was Daniel from our Washington Bureau. You heard it right – Trump hates freedom! This is a new development. We will have details as soon as they happen. Now back to you, Mark.

        • John says:

This is a test of the “emergency broadcast system.”

The sky is falling, Donald Trump elected president of the USA. Oh my freedom is dead, Hillary Clinton was not elected and the great Barack Obama, the freedom loving Constitutional scholar is leaving office in January, we all should be in national mourning.

Oh btw, this is not a real emergency broadcast warning, this has only been a test of the “emergency broadcast system.” In case of a real emergency, you can always tune to CNN, MSNBC, The NY Times, Josh Earnest, Saturday Night Live, and other “mainstream media” to tell you where to get your news on all future emergencies regarding the state of the nation. If you need any confirmation of REAL news, just go to Media Matters and Snopes, they are the ultimate fact checkers. Remember citizens of the world, pay attention to real news from now on, not FAKE news!!!

  11. Carolyn Rose Goyda says:

Jon I have been a admirer of your investigative journalism for years but this article has me baffled…

Do you honestly believe that it was this is a left-right paradigm and it was socialists who decided to take the jobs out of the United States? It was socialists who eliminated the manufacturing base? Do you really believe that? and do you really think there’s all these people living in their parent’s basement who dream of socialism?

I get it – you like Donald Trump.

You don’t care how many times he’s been bankrupt or that his creepy kid hunts sentient elephants. You don’t care that he prefers immigrant trophy wives those kind of immigrants are okay as long as you can afford to buy one. You don’t care that his university apparently committed fraud. As a conspiracy investigator you’re not even a bit curious even about the escalator video from The Simpsons and it making you scratch your head that was just at least a little creepy?

    But Trump aside –

You do realize it was brokers on Wall Street & investment bankers and international financiers who had a three point agenda :

    which first intended to destroy Union power by moving jobs to non-union States or nations;

    And, these were people whose primary goal is maximizing profits no matter what it does in the short-term or long-term to the United States because their focus – is their own portfolios or their own mutual funds and their profit – and that – is not a national issue that is one of profiteering and mercantilism;

And, thirdly the greatest Generation came back oddly awake and aware from what they had experienced not even sure how to digest what they had learned and many used the GI Bill and GI loans to own homes for the first time and wanted their demands met when it came to their own needs and housing and desires and everyone was being hit with the advertising propaganda of wanting more and more and more and new and improved and more than your neighbor and their children were learning this and going to college so we were having a growing growing expanding population of average citizens who were potentially a risk to those on top who had control and power and did not want to share it and did not want to share more of the pie in the profits with those below.

We could not have unskilled workers making high middle-class wages and owning a car and a boat and maybe a vacation home and their kids wanting even more and all these kids going to college and thinking and questioning and marching and refusing orders.

So, as Charlotte Iserbyt and Anthony Sutton so well documented they started to dumb down the education system and the CIA through Operation Mockingbird decided it was going to control the press and the media; monopolies were allowed in all markets and advertising became tightly controlled and what people would want would be shaped by a few.

And we had to make it harder for the average citizen to get a college education and to have free time. Citizens needed to be financially controlled and burdened thus they had to have debt they had to be one crisis away from bankruptcy or homelessness. Built-in obsolescence meant major things had to be continually rebought and college education loans would become an increasing burden; and insurance rates would go up. Banks would pay next to nothing while credit cards would be allowed to have loan-shark rates up to 29- 30%…
So you move the economy to a service economy you eliminate those high-paying good union jobs and manufacturing jobs and profits will soar for the shareholders as you use cheap labor overseas and you don’t have to worry about OSHA or EPA and you don’t have to worry about manufacturing standards.

so now – in all this – where is the leftist?

To me, it’s sure looks more like fascism because the banksters and corporate gangsters were working in conjunction with the government. Because as long as the government workers constituted another pampered group they weren’t going to rock the boat… and of course lawyers were getting their cut of the pie and didn’t want to lose their status and standing just like all all the elected and selected politicians

Like Rockefeller said there was no point in going to Monopoly court and fighting when you could buy yourself a judge or president and bring fascism right up front and greed becomes the standard

Jon, don’t you see a greater major problem with a corporate socialism and the corporate bailouts and banker’s bailouts and the insurance company bailouts and the shielding of manufacturers and the shielding of politicians and legislators and creating elite protected groups and allowing offshore accounts and allowing all these American companies to move their headquarters and that’s a lot of their profits overseas?

There was no loyalty to a place called the United States of America. The Loyalty was to shareholders and portfolios and to personal greed

Think, if a large majority of the lower class less educated unskilled population could be controlled through petty checks and minimum handouts all controlled thru busy body or incompetent or overworked social workers and a nanny government with intrusive government rules and regulations well that eliminates marching in the streets and the generation of Martin Luther King type figures and you don’t have veterans against the war and you don’t have college students facing off with National Guard like in Ohio. You have segmented of the population, you have controlled various groups either through favors or status or standing for some; those petty minimal handouts for others; and yet others too exhausted since they need to constantly work to just stay out of the Poorhouse or off the street.

Now if you think Donald Trump who lives like a potentate and is a billionaire truly can understand what we need to rebuild the manufacturing base and restore a solid respected working class and a genuine upward ladder through training and education – well I hope you’re right.

But I would much rather have seen a man like Judge Napolitano with a Ralph Nader at his side a team of US veterans who had worked their way up who understood the Constitution and respected people and worked with people and associated with people across the entire spectrum of the American economy, then I would feel confident

I don’t see this as left vs right conservative vs liberal I don’t see this as Democrat vs Republican.

I see this as a need to restore the United States Constitution especially the Bill of Rights and I see a need to overhaul the tax across the United States first eliminating the Fed and eliminating the IRS and implementing a fair tax system and opened banking for credit unions and farm and loans over the mega International Banks and a total review of the credit system in the United States and an elimination of the current “Lobby write the legislation” program in DC and in every state capital..

And I see a massive need to break the stranglehold of the created petro-chemical economy which was created and designed to profit for a few and continues to be the octopus in every aspect of the American economy and political system

But that is my humble opinion
