Okay. She finally did it. On Monday, Bev Harris (blackboxvoting.org), the great investigator of vote fraud, appeared on the Alex Jones show and laid it all out. The GEMS vote-fraud system, “fraction magic,” the way the vote is being stolen. Not just in theory, but in fact. Listen to the whole interview and get the word out. Bev’s findings are staggering. High Alert: the election can still be rigged
Votes counted as fractions instead of as whole numbers
…[A]mazingly, the vote-rigging system it describes has not gotten widespread attention. The system can be used across the entire US.
As we know, there are a number of ways to rig an election. Bev Harris, at blackboxvoting.org, is exploring a specific “cheat sheet” that has vast implications for the Trump vs. Hillary contest.
It’s a vote-counting system called GEMS.
I urge you to dive into her multi-part series, Fraction Magic (Part-1 here). Here are key Harris quotes. They’re all shockers:
“Our testing [of GEMS] shows that one vote can be counted 25 times, another only one one-thousandth of a time, effectively converting some votes to zero.”
“This report summarizes the results of our review of the GEMS election management system, which counts approximately 25 percent of all votes in the United States. The results of this study demonstrate that a fractional vote feature is embedded in each GEMS application which can be used to invisibly, yet radically, alter election outcomes by pre-setting desired vote percentages to redistribute votes. This tampering is not visible to election observers, even if they are standing in the room and watching the computer. Use of the decimalized vote feature is unlikely to be detected by auditing or canvass procedures, and can be applied across large jurisdictions in less than 60 seconds.”
“GEMS vote-counting systems are and have been operated under five trade names: Global Election Systems, Diebold Election Systems, Premier Election Systems, Dominion Voting Systems, and Election Systems & Software, in addition to a number of private regional subcontractors. At the time of this writing, this system is used statewide in Alaska, Connecticut, Georgia, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Utah and Vermont, and for counties in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming. It is also used in Canada.”
“Instead of ‘1’ the vote is allowed to be 1/2, or 1+7/8, or any other value that is not a whole number.”
“Weighting a race [through the use of GEMS] removes the principle of ‘one person-one vote’ to allow some votes to be counted as less than one or more than one. Regardless of what the real votes are, candidates can receive a set percentage of votes. Results can be controlled. For example, Candidate A can be assigned 44% of the votes, Candidate B 51%, and Candidate C the rest.”
“All evidence that [rigged] fractional values ever existed [in the GEMS system] can be removed instantly even from the underlying database using a setting in the GEMS data tables, in which case even instructing GEMS to show the [rigged] decimals will fail to reveal they were used.”
“Source code: Instructions to treat votes as decimal values instead of whole numbers [i.e., rigging] are inserted multiple times in the GEMS source code itself; thus, this feature cannot have been created by accident.”
A contact who, so far, apparently wishes to remain anonymous states the following about the history of the GEMS system:
“The Fractional vote [rigging] portion traces directly to Jeffrey W. Dean, whose wife was primary stockholder of the company that developed GEMS. He ran the company but was prohibited from handling money or checks due to a criminal conviction for computer fraud, for which he spent 4 years in prison. Almost immediately after being released from prison he was granted intimate access to elections data and large government contracts for ballot printing and ballot processing.”
I see no effort on the part of the federal government, state governments, or the mainstream press to investigate the GEMS system or respond to Bev Harris’ extensive analysis.
It’s not as if media outlets are unaware of her. From shesource.org, here is an excerpt from her bio:
“Harris has been referred to as ‘the godmother’ of the election reform movement. (Boston Globe). Vanity Fair magazine credits her with founding the movement to reform electronic voting. Time Magazine calls her book, Black Box Voting, ‘the bible’ of electronic voting… Harris’s investigations have led some to call her the ‘Erin Brockovich of elections.’ (Salon.com)… Harris has supervised five ‘hack demonstrations’ in the field, using real voting machines. These have been covered by the Associated Press, the Washington Post, and in formal reports by the United States General Accounting Office…”
So far, her analysis of GEMS seems to be labeled “too hot to handle.” Press outlets prefer to report the slinging of mud from both Presidential candidates’ camps. Meanwhile, the actual results of the coming elections—including Congressional races—appear to be up for grabs, depending on who controls GEMS.
Update: From what I understand, each state government appoints a “consultant” to manage GEMS on election night. That person would be capable of rigging the vote.

The only trustworthy voting system is paper ballots with a simple checkbox beside each candidate in which you draw an “X” from corner to corner beside the chosen name(s).
The ballots are then folded and placed in a ballot box in front of scrutineers for the various parties and at the end of the day counted by the returning officer and verified by the scrutineers chosen by the parties. In Canada a counterfoil tab is torn off each ballot before being placed in the locked metal ballot box. The number of ballots in the box should match the number of counterfoils. Spoiled or dubious ballots are set aside to be considered later in case of a close vote. All ballots are saved for potential recount if the result is within 10 percent.
Some countries like Russia take this one step father by using a transparent plexiglass ballot box so everybody can see it is empty at the beginning of voting, and watch each folded ballot being dropped into the box to make sure only one ballot was dropped. The ballot boxes are about a metre (3 feet) high so the falling ballot is clearly visible as a single ballot. Webcams are posted in the polling stations and looking at the ballot boxes so anyone can monitor their local polling station from their computer. The ballot boxes are laid down on a table under webcams at the end of the day and the ballots pulled out, opened, and counted under the webcams by the poll clerk and checked by the scrutineers.
This is the way the regional government in Crimea held their referendum to succeed from Ukraine and re-unify with Russia, and also the way the regional governments in the Donetsk and Luhansk provinces in eastern Ukraine held their succession and Independence votes, all with live webcams and international observers. I was able to watch the voting and count in various polling stations from Canada via the internet.
All voting machines are at best questionable, and electronic voting easily falsified. Which is probably exactly what Congress and the Senate had in mind when they approved it.
I don’t now why we are still ‘outraged’ that “Russia hacked our elections”. We hack our own elections. That became clear in Florida in 2000…cuz it was necessary to have Bush in the WH so the 9/11 fiasco could go through to fruition and we would have a (bogus) reason to go to war. System called Crosscheck, google it, was used to strike legal voters off the voting lists. It’s still being used. Our country officially sucks, sorry to say.
In addition, the Constitution (written by slave owners to ensure their control of the new nation) institutionalizes rigged elections, whereby the Electoral College (538 party hacks) can overturn the majority vote of the people and install the loser as President. 700 attempts to repeal or change (to make representative of the vote) this slave-era tool of the slave-owning class (10 of first 12 Presidents owned slaves) but the 2/3 barrier prevents it since one or the other party benefits from it. In this new century, of 3 Presidents, 2 lost the popular vote (consent of the governed, and equality of votes, being the requirements of legitimate rule, according to our founding document, the Declaration of Independence) but gained power.
History shows that those who gain power after losing the public vote lead their nations to disaster, from Hitler and Mussolini to Bush II and now Trump. Jefferson wrote that when Majority Rule is ignored, the result is “military despotism,” as those who rule without consent cannot lead with the tailwind of popular support but can only rule with lies, threats, and violence/wars.
So for all the dirty tricks used to rig elections (the most effective of which is allowing private money to buy elections), the root rigging is established by the Constitution, for the express purpose of building a firewall against democratic rule. The result: first, a slave-owning oligarchy ruled; then when slavery was abolished, the banks and dominant corporations took control. Today, we are ruled by a plutocracy, which in its modern form is what Mussolini called corporatocracy, or corporate fascism, as when the corporations either control or sit in the seats of state power. I am just expanding our your insight.
Paul Craig Roberts and and others reading about election fraud, which is mainly connected to Republicans, and calling it voter fraud and claiming that the claim that there is no voter fraud (all but zero) is a Hillary story. No, it is a Bush story, since his 5 yr effort to find voter fraud found 85 cases in 5 years (over a hundred million votes).
Other studies found the same results.

For example, Georgia — where Republicans scored spectacular upset victories in the 2002 midterm elections — relies exclusively on Diebold machines. To be clear, though there were many anomalies in that 2002 vote, there is no evidence that the machines miscounted. But there is also no evidence that the machines counted correctly. You see, Diebold machines leave no paper trail.” Diebold has changed its name, as companies that are guilty of misbehavior often do. For example, Standard Oil, which sold oil in WWII to US military and Nazis, changed, after the Santa Barbara oil spill and Valdez, to Exxon.
As Thoreau wrote in Walden: ““I say, beware of all enterprises that require new clothes, and not rather a new wearer of clothes.”
Voter suppression laws in over 20 Republicans states also are a form of top down election fraud, with purge lists that deny voting rights, making voter very difficult and expensive, etc.
And last of all, the greatest rigging of all is the Electoral College, once justified to pass the Constitution (small pop states have 4 times the voting power as large), and of the last 3 Presidents, two had the fewest votes and won by the way the Electoral College misrepresents the voting public, by giving some votes (which are Republican in rural/conservative states) the will of the People.
I hate HRC but I hate lies even more. She won the popular vote, despite Republican efforts to suppress the vote, but the People were denied their consent (the basis of legitimacy and impossible with minority rule) through a devise designed to keep the slave owners who wrote the Constitution (95%) in power in the new central government.
This is the systemic fraud which is embedded in the Constitution. The Electoral College is to de democracy what chattels were to the slave owners, but the idiots who are claiming that HRC rigged the election through voter fraud are mum on how they actually won, through Republican voter suppression and the denial of the majority vote through the Electoral College.
Hillary of course did commit fraud but it was against the guy that all polls showed crushing Trump in a landslide, the 75 yr old Jewish democratic socialist from Vermont. Karma. Now the Trump supports, seeing has hired the old Bush war team and put Wall St in charge, as Bush did, will meet their karma, as Trump betrays every promise he has made to pander to the people that in 1999 he called “morons (ie those who are not rich) and makes fools of intellectual frauds like Paul Craig Roberts who prates about voter fraud, tho there is all but none.
HUGE story. There is absolutely no reason to have ANY fractions in vote counting. All math computations should be based solely on integers. This should be easy to detect by examining the source code (floating point vs. integer calculations). Is the source code proprietary information? Who’s watching the watchdog?

I mentioned this to a computer programmer friend of mine. He just gave me that wry smile and laughed, because, is his mind, “Bev Harris is not a computer programmer” so she doesn’t know what she’s talking about. He actually had no issue with decimal numbers for votes — because Bev does not understand ‘number types’ in programming because she is not a programmer!

I’m sure many of us have experienced the frustration of trying to “wake people up”. The heavily ‘educated’ are often the worst. They are very good . . . at learning falsehoods. They also often think they know everything already.
Anyone trained to manipulate and control people will tell you that more often than not the stronger your ego the easier it is for someone to predict and control your behavior.
I understand the point you’re making. Though I would say those with a true sense of self, (rather than false ego infation), do not have the need to impress others or go along with them uncritically. – – We’ve all around a loud mouth braggart/show off . I’m a computer programmer, and it makes sense to me that vote counting should always be an integer.

No he laughed because this the sort of stuff you see in every large scale sql deployment. look its a double that doesnt just define it can be fractional but also the type of operation you can use on it. The gems system is basically a stats package and so it is going to want to use that number for things other than just counting the votes like making all those graphs. Sure maybe the value should be a long but if you make it a long and you are trying to run an op on it that only works on floats having it as a double makes more sense once the data hits the central file. Make it into a long and your going to have to convert it and that gets messy as hell in access (which they shouldnt be using but hey government).
More to the point the kind of attack that is detailed in this film is only posible if your interpretation layer is run between the client upload and the database. Even then you would need to adjust every single memory card and create fake paper reciepts to make sure it held up. that means you have to tamper with every precient or the moment anyone checks the result it wont match. Which you cant feasibly do in presidential election. Sure i believe you could a county or 2 like this and just get rid of the evidence but on a nationwide scale? gerrymandering is a hell of alot less risky.
Oh and on the vaccine point you know what medical Doctors also have? large quantities of evidence. So they make sure their children are vaccinated.

Is it because it wasn’t counted by the central government computer.. but was counted individually by each State? Or was it because it was a landslide win.
Still, there is a way to prove the fraud. Make videos of people walking out of the poll booths. Most of them are wearing either a Trump’s hat or a Trump tee-shirt or a Trump button. or whatever other things.
If they are the majority, then you have the proof that the election was rigged.
If the FBI wants to reclaim there integrity, maybe they should look into this fraud and stop it. Otherwise, you will all know that they are corrupted to the bones.

America was supposed to be a democratic republic defending individual Liberty. We were supposed to have a free enterprise based economic system where people would fail or succeed based on their own efforts. These are the principles on which this nation was said to be founded.
Today, all we have is one big con game illusion.

The software needs to be open source, designed and written by volunteer programmers (U.S. citizens only, with squeaky clean backgrounds) who oversee each other. No proprietary information. No secrets, totally transparent. The present situation is so ridiculous on every level – how is it that one company controls all of the vote counting? There is always plenty of competition for any kind of software application, but apparently this is the ONE exception. There needs to be built-in security in the database, so that the original data cannot be changed by the software. I used to write accounting and business software – this is easily accomplished. States should demand this requirement.
The answer to the present unacceptable situation? Volunteers who count the votes separately, using the images of ballots obtained by FOIA requests. Publish the images on the web and let the people count the votes themselves!
Totally agree. Programmers need to totally eliminate all floating point calculations embedded in the code. “Percentage” calculations (which require floating point) are unnecessary. Just report the raw (whole) numbers.
Imaging all of the ballots would not be difficult. Banks currently do this with cancelled checks. Publish the images and let citizens count the votes to settle any disputes and for data quality control.
I don’t understand the necessity of the decimal numbers, because percentage calculations can be performed on integers in the code by casting them as floating point. I used to do that in SQL databases using stored procedures. Perhaps the programmers were just not that concerned with preserving their secrets. The alarming problem is that data can be changed at all, which is easily preventable. Imagine if that kind of software were allowed to exist in banks, or brokerage houses. They wouldn’t tolerate it. You have to have a reliable audit trail, or the whole business would collapse.
Wrong. I’m a computer security expert. Computers are fundamentally the WRONG TOOL for elections. Instead, voting should be done with paper ballots and counted by hand.
I’m an operations research analyst. I agree, Bruce, 100%. The particular problem discussed here is the programming error of a rank amateur. Watch some of the YouTube videos showing how even properly written code can be hacked. The Rush Holt committee that wrote the HAVA bill was told and shown the hacking process and they were completely uninterested. Publicly hand counted paper ballots are the most secure method. Nothing else comes even close.
I’d prefer hand-counted paper ballots myself , but I think what Greg C. suggested could be made to work.
Suppose you have paper ballots at the polls , optically-scanned and then tallied ( and then securely stored ) , with digital images of every ballot posted on the web after the polls close. When you vote , you get a ticket showing your unique ballot identification number , along with the url of the election results webpage. At the webpage you can simply enter your identifier number into a search box to see your ballot image.
So now you can have both a crowd-sourced , web-based verification of the machine count AS WELL AS a significant audit of the ballot-to-digital-image process , as some decent fraction – say 10% or more – of voters will check that the ballot image on the web corresponds with the way they voted.
Sorry, that would be illegal. Your boss could require you to show him/her your voting ticket, and she could look up your ballot to see if you voted the way she wanted you to vote. The law requires there to be no way to connect a ballot with the voter who cast it.
That boss would be breaking the law in demanding to know how the person voted. I see no reason why a person shouldn’t be able to confirm that their vote was recorded as cast , as long as it could be done anonymously and on a secure platform.
Google knows how virtually everyone in the country votes right now. We’ve already sacrificed any real privacy about our vote , along with nearly every other aspect of our lives.
The kind of boss that would demand proof of an employee’s vote is hardly the kind of person who would worry about breaking the law.
I absolutely agree with Bruce Stephenson! Ever since the computers came in I have heard constant grumbling of distrust from voters in and around the polling places. Someone PLEASE START A MOVEMENT to go back to manual polling machines.- I could get about a thousand signatures against computerized voting in my neighborhood in Manhattan in the first week.
The way out is to go back to the ballot paper system or the EVM gives a printed slip (one for the voter and the other for record) showing exactly how and to whom the voter voted, and in case of controversy, the printed slips would serve as ballots to be counted. But Americans are very bad at counting also – who can help that?
Paper ballot is best. Hillary just has to ensure that the EVM cannot print all the voting slips (confirmation of vote) ie. insufficient paper rolls, insufficient ink, or sabotaged printers, and Trump already has far less votes than he really did have. Count paper ballots by hand using citizen volunteers, & have representatives from both sides randomly double checking actual vote ballots against the volunteer count.

Whenever you see electronic voting without a paper ballot, you are looking at evidence of vote rigging. The reason to have electronic voting is to rig the vote.
People who do election fraud always get rid of the paper ballot because:
1. The paper ballot creates a physical audit trail.
2. The paper ballot makes it possible to do a valid recount in a close election.
The absence of a paper ballot is evidence of a rigged election. If you had a business and hired an accountant and the first thing the accountant did was to make sure no one would ever be able to do an audit, would you trust that accountant? People who rig elections are like accountants who embezzle money. The most important thing to do when you rig an election is to make the voters think that the election is not rigged. This is why when you challenge an election, they will always use psychological techniques to make the public think that only a nut would question the integrity of the election.
An election that is not based on the paper ballot is an election that is not worth the paper it is not written on.

I find the response to this story even in the alt media to be rather interesting. Drudge had it at the top of the middle column in red regular size typeface Monday. It should have been front and center in bold print with a photo for emphasis. One day later, I don’t see the story on Drudge at all. On the other hand,the ‘story’ about Mel Gibson’s Hollywood comeback remains on the center of the webpage with a photo.
If the election is a complete scam & the votes will be manipulated toward a pre-determined outcome, all the other stories are irrelevant.
So what’s up with Drudge ? Did he get a visit from someone telling him the proles must believe in the illusion of democracy ?

SamAdamsGhost, Rush Limbaugh also received that visit. If you have been paying any attention to his day-to-day election coverage, voting fraud is conspicuous by its absence. (He may have mentioned it in passing once or twice when Trump brought it up, but that was just to comment on Trump, not on fraud.) Even when callers bring the issue up in detail, he ignores that particular point or else switches out another explanation without explain why he switched explanations. It’s a lot like Michael Savage being threatened with blackout when he started talking about Hitler-y’s health. Ever since then he hasn’t mentioned it.
Too bad Bev was not on a TV program that has a better reputation for truth — like Democracy Now of TheRealNews. I was a mathematical analyst advising the Holt Committee about the dangers of electronic voting back in 2006. I worked with a group of scientists. Our advice was uniformly rejected by the committee, who were obviously determined to accept electronic voting machines “as an aid to make voting easier”. They incorporated the electronic voting methods in the Help America Vote Act, an Orwellian name if ever there was one. Neither Republicans nor Democrats showed interest when told how easy it is to defraud the machines.
The use of electronic voting machines for even a portion of the voting makes a recount impossible. A single person can implant the vote rigging code in every machine in a county within a few minutes. And that includes paper ballot tabulation machines.
It destroys any reasonable voter’s faith in our elections.
I find it ironic that people seem to be starting to have no problem believing that the voting system could be rigged but still maintain complete trust in the polls.
It must be a real source of amusement for the rest of the world.
I look forward to a poll telling me the percent of people who think the voting system is corrupt, then I will really know what to believe lol!

Everyone should record their vote on their phones as evidence of how they voted. These videos could be correlated later if necessary to see if they match the official result – much the same as an exit poll, but easier to organise.
That would be illegal. By law, there must be no way to connect a voter with her ballot. Exit polls are anonymous.

Here is my thought.. there is a big room with a mechanical, no electronics machine at the front with a lever for each candidate, above that is a display that displays the votes. you walk up,, pull a lever and witness that number rise by one.. everyone else in that room also witnesses the number change. at the end of the day,, those numbers are recorded… its foolproof.
Knowing about it and doing something about it are two very different things. I doubt there is anything that can derail the intentions of the scum at the top.
