My interview with Sharyl Attkisson: vaccines, exposing the CDC

Unless you’ve been living in a cave, you’re aware that a film, Vaxxed (trailer), has been showing in theaters across America—and audiences are stunned by its revelations.

Vaxxed exposes a huge scandal at the CDC, where a long-time researcher, William Thompson, confessed (2014) that he and colleagues committed gross fraud in a study of the MMR vaccine.

Thompson admitted that evidence showed the vaccine led to higher risk of autism in children—but that finding was intentionally buried, and the vaccine was given a free pass.

Of course, mainstream reporters have been mercilessly attacking Vaxxed, and a segment of the population finds it impossible to believe that the CDC would ever commit this kind of fraud.

So, as a mind-changer, let me take you back to the late summer of 2009, and the Swine Flu epidemic, which was hyped to the sky by the CDC. The Agency was calling for all Americans to take the Swine Flu vaccine. Remember?

The problem was, the CDC was concealing another scandal.

At the time, star CBS investigative reporter, Sharyl Attkisson, was working on a Swine Flu story. She discovered that the CDC had secretly stopped counting cases of the illness—while, of course, continuing to warn Americans about its unchecked spread.

Understand that the CDC’s main job is counting cases and reporting the numbers.

What was the Agency up to?

Here is an excerpt from my 2014 interview with Sharyl Attkisson:

Rappoport: In 2009, you spearheaded coverage of the so-called Swine Flu pandemic. You discovered that, in the summer of 2009, the Centers for Disease Control, ignoring their federal mandate, [secretly] stopped counting Swine Flu cases in America. Yet they continued to stir up fear about the “pandemic,” without having any real measure of its impact. Wasn’t that another investigation of yours that was shut down? Wasn’t there more to find out?

Attkisson: The implications of the story were even worse than that. We discovered through our FOI efforts that before the CDC mysteriously stopped counting Swine Flu cases, they had learned that almost none of the cases they had counted as Swine Flu was, in fact, Swine Flu or any sort of flu at all! The interest in the story from one [CBS] executive was very enthusiastic. He said it was “the most original story” he’d seen on the whole Swine Flu epidemic. But others pushed to stop it and, in the end, no broadcast wanted to touch it. We aired numerous stories pumping up the idea of an epidemic, but not the one that would shed original, new light on all the hype. It was fair, accurate, legally approved and a heck of a story. With the CDC keeping the true Swine Flu stats secret, it meant that many in the public took and gave their children an experimental vaccine that may not have been necessary.

—end of interview excerpt—

I’ll add a few details. It was routine for doctors all over America to send blood samples from patients they’d diagnosed with Swine Flu, or the “most likely” Swine Flu patients, to labs for testing. And overwhelmingly, those samples were coming back with the result: not Swine Flu, not any kind of flu.

That was the big secret. That’s what the CDC was hiding. That’s why they stopped reporting Swine Flu case numbers. That’s what Attkisson had discovered. That’s why she was shut down.

But it gets even worse.

Because about three weeks after Attkisson’s findings were published on the CBS News website, the CDC, obviously in a panic, decided to double down. If one lie is exposed, tell an even bigger one. A much bigger one.

Here, from a November 12, 2009, WebMD article is the CDC’s response: “Shockingly, 14 million to 34 million U.S. residents — the CDC’s best guess is 22 million — came down with H1N1 swine flu by Oct. 17 [2009].” (“22 million cases of Swine Flu in US,” by Daniel J. DeNoon).

Are your eyeballs popping? They should be.

In the summer of 2009, the CDC secretly stops counting Swine Flu cases in America, because the overwhelming percentage of lab tests from likely Swine Flu patients shows no sign of Swine Flu or any other kind of flu.

There is no Swine Flu epidemic.

Then, the CDC estimates there are 22 MILLION cases of Swine Flu in the US.

So…the premise that the CDC would never lie about important matters like, oh, a vaccine increasing the risk of autism…you can lay that one to rest.

The CDC will lie about anything it wants to. It will boldly go where no person interested in real science will go.

It will completely ignore its mandate to care about human health, and it will get away with it.

    The harm Vaccines have done cannot be measured. All living things should no longer be pierced with them not given them in any way whatsoever. People of all ages needs to do what I say doing it as soon as they can. Upcspine or The specific chiropractic or Upper cervical heath centers. Two Good UCS only Chiropractors are Steven Duff is in Windsor California. Richard Duff is in San Francisco California. Don’t go to see one the day an accident or fall occurs. It takes 4 – 5 days for external asymmetries to show up to be measured by the upper cervical specific only DC chiropractor. Birth can begin a problem you are not even aware of.

    The CDC has taken the same tack with raw milk–misusing data to exaggerate its dangers. Earlier this year, it took the anti-raw-milk stance to a new level, by posting a report online accusing a Pennsylvania dairy owner of selling raw milk that killed a Florida woman. It turns out the Florida woman was being treated for terminal cancer at the time she supposedly got sick from raw milk. http://www.davidgumpert.com/cdc-misconduct-raw-milk-death-victim-treated-advanced-cancer

      At this point in time, I would say that if the CDC, an organization I once revered as a medical researcher, says something is bad for you, I would start taking it immediately, being assured that it must be incredibly good for you.

    Thought you might be interested in this. It’s not directly related to vaccine, but it does relate to shonky medicine, and psychiatric misdiagnosis.

    • mangomuffin2 says:

      Yes, yes! Very important. People should be much more attentive to the possibility of infections.

    Perhaps someone can check my math, but here is something I found in a study posted on CDC’s webpage “Vaccines Do Not Cause Autism.”

    Study: Madsen KM, Hviid A, Vestergaard M, Schendel D, Wohlfahrt J, et al. A population-based study of measles, mumps, and rubella vaccination and autism. N Engl J Med. 2002;347 (19):1477–1482.

    Results: Table 1

    Vaccinated Children = 440,655
    Cases of Autism and Other Autism Spectrum Disorder = 269 + 352 = 621
    Rate = 621/440,655 = 0.00141 or 1/709

    Unvaccinated Children = 96,648
    Cases of Autism and Other Autism Spectrum Disorder = 47 + 70 = 117
    Rate = 117/96,648 = 0.001211 or 1/826

    Rate of Autism plus other ASD INCREASED with mmr vaccination by 16.9%

    Results: Table 2 Adjusted for Relative Risk

    Vaccinated Children = 1,647,504
    Cases of Autism and Other Autism Spectrum Disorder = 263 + 345 (sum No. of Cases column)
    Rate = 608/1,647,504 = 0.000369 or 1/2,710

    Unvaccinated Children = 482,360
    Cases of Autism and Other Autism Spectrum Disorder = 53 + 77
    Rate = 130/482,360 = 0.0002695 or 1/3,710

    Rate of Autism plus other ASD INCREASED with mmr vaccination by 37%

  5. Patsy Kimbro says:

    I agree that this feels like the truth. They also according to what I heard on the net sent bird flu to a lab that didn’t have adequate security for a mile disease much less they were trying to get bird flu airborne.

  6. Travis says:

    The Verstraeten Study (initial data) had an RR for Autism in the highest Thimerosal group to be 7.7. This means that they were 770% more likely to be diagnosed with Autism than the 0μg Thimerosal group.

    These finding were attenuated by dishonest statistical methods to hide the significant correlation. First, they added younger children who were too young to reveive an Autism diagnoses, then they just threw away alot of data and added some more, then the changed the “control” group from 0μg Thimerosal to 12.50μg Thimerosal to flatten the curve.

    Many Vaccines have Aluminum as well! This is also known neurotoxin.

    There is a better preservative than thimerosal, and that is phonoxyethanol. This is used in vaccines and has supplanted thimerosal in many. There are also more acceptable adjuvants than alum, such as calcium oxide, and apatite.

    There is absolutely no chemical justification for using mercury or aluminum in vaccines when non-toxic ingredients are just as effective.

    You might get the impression that we are being intentionally poisoned.

    • mangomuffin2 says:

      I was in a cancer lab, so I am unfamiliar with RR? I’ll have to take your word for it on phonoxyethanol, but all of your points seem completely reasonable.
      I thought the same thing years ago with thimerosal in contact lens solution.

  7. Narad says:

    RR is relative risk. I am pretty sure that it is just the ratio of vaccinated autistics to nonvaccinated autistics.

    Vaccinated divided by nonvaccinated.

  8. krys says:

    Another BRILLIANT nail in the coffin of the toxic disinformation industry called the mainstream media and a searing indictment of the CDC, the terribly corrupt and biased government organization that is SUPPOSEDLY above such things. If THIS organization can be ‘bought & paid for’, does ANYONE doubt that others can’t be as well?
