Sharyl Attkisson reports shocking US immigration stats
Plus: the Bernie Sanders/Donald Trump divide-and-conquer operation

In a column on her site (“Fact Check: Media claims that Trump is anti-immigrant,” 3/13/2016), ex-CBS News investigative reporter, Sharyl Attkisson, writes:
“For example, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reported that 2013 and 2014 alone, it set loose in the U.S. more than 66,500 illegal immigrant criminals who had been arrested in the U.S. for additional crimes and had over 166,000 convictions among them: 30,000 for drunk or drugged driving, 414 kidnappings, 11,301 rapes or other types of assaults and 395 homicides. In a fairly short time period, ICE reported 2,423 of those illegal immigrant criminals had already been rearrested and convicted of new crimes in the U.S.– including felonies and gang offenses.”
I queried Attkisson about those 66,500 illegal immigrants’ 166,000 convictions. Did the convictions take place in their home countries before they came to the US? This was her reply:
“The [166,000] crimes were committed here in US —NOT in their home country. We don’t know about crimes they committed in their home country. These are people who were jailed here NOT for being illegal, but for additional crimes they committed here after coming illegally. Then they were released instead of deported or kept in prison…”
But you see, statistics like these can act as a bias against open borders and unlimited immigration. Therefore…
The numbers must be discounted. They must be ignored. Otherwise, one could be accused of intolerance, at the very least.
Actually, with open borders and no limitation on immigration, why are Mexico and US separate countries? Of course. Let’s have Mexerica or Americo and be done with it. That’ll solve the whole problem all at once.
Vicente Fox, the former head of Coca Cola operations in Latin America (a very healthy beverage), and former President of Mexico, who recently said, “I’m not going to pay for that fucking wall,” once suggested Mexico and the US should erase the border between them and form a bond with Canada, much like the European Union. He was right on the money. Mega-corporate Globalist money.
Consider the NAFTA trade treaty and the Rockefeller Globalists, who sit above this whole fray; and how they have helped cause a human flood at the southern US border.
Two years ago, on the 20th anniversary of NAFTA, Lori Wallach, of Public Citizen, wrote, at the Huffington Post (“NAFTA at 20: One Million U.S. Jobs Lost, Higher Income Inequality,” 1/6/2014):
“…outcomes include a staggering $181 billion U.S. trade deficit with NAFTA partners Mexico and Canada and the related loss of 1 million net U.S. jobs under NAFTA, growing income inequality, displacement of more than one million Mexican campesino farmers and a doubling of desperate immigration from Mexico…”
Nice and neat.
This is an elite Globalist operation on behalf of chaos.
A final note, concerning the loss of 1 million US jobs Lori Wallach mentioned. We’re talking about angry people. Some of them have gone over to Bernie Sander’s side, and some of them to Trump, because both men are talking about the loss of US jobs owing to horrendous Globalist trade treaties. These displaced out-of-work Americans are now opposing each other in the election season.
That’s a fine example of divide and conquer.
Who benefits? Hillary Clinton (rabid Globalist).
If only one highly visible anti-trade-treaty candidate were running in this Presidential election, who knows much support he might gain, as more and more Americans wake up to how they’re being used, abused, and cast aside during the march to the Globalists’ tune?
But when split apart between two oddball candidates (Trump and Sanders), who are polar opposites, anti-Globalist Americans battle each other, fracture the power they could amass together, and bury the victory they need—the victory everybody needs.
If Hillary Clinton coughs, splutters, grins, and cackles her way into the Oval Office in November, the divide-and-conquer op will have been successful.

Yes, Trump talked about that problem in his rallies. And, this is why you need a wall. and a temporary ban of Muslim so-called refugees, immigrants coming into your country, till you are able to vet them properly.
It looks like you might have a good chance that Trump will get the nomination and a lot of Sander’s fans will cross over to Trump. I’ve seen a few videos proving it. They say that he is their second choice.
Tonight, trump had a very good night.:
He won: Florida, Illinois, North Carolina, Missouri and the Northem Mariana Islands.
Not bad, 5 out of 6 Primary States..
Ohio, went to Kasich, But it is said that there was massive voter fraud in that State. So who knows, maybe Trump also won Ohio.
Very good piece Jon, your right. There is a divide and conquer. I will say no more, if I do it will bring an I’ll wind.
Since 1985 yearly totals of automobile fatalities have dropped significantly, in America.
From 43,825 in 1985 down to 32,675 in 2014.
In regards to automobile fatalities involving alcohol or narcotics; in 1985, 18,185 people died per/year in automobile accidents.
In 2014 that number had dropped to 9,967 deaths per/year.
Of the total American population, among major crimes, driving under the influence has one of the highest arrest rates with more than 1.4 million DUI arrests in 2010. That’s nationally! 1.4 Million.
In 2011 1.2 million drivers were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.
In 2012, over 1.3 million drivers were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.

Each day, people drive drunk almost 300,000 times, but fewer than 4,000 are arrested. -Source: Federal Bureau of Investigation, 2012
Rapes in America are declining, in 2010 89,241 rapes occurred and that number has been steadily declining since 2003, when there were 93,883 rapes that year.
Here are some highlights from Crime in the United States, 2014:
There were an estimated 1,165,383 violent crimes (murder and non-negligent homicides, rapes, robberies, and aggravated assaults) reported by law enforcement.
Aggravated assaults accounted for 63.6 percent of the violent crimes reported, while robberies accounted for 28.0 percent, rape 7.2 percent, and murders 1.2 percent.
There were an estimated 8,277,829 property crimes (burglaries, larceny-thefts, and motor vehicle thefts) reported by law enforcement.
Financial losses suffered by victims of these crimes were calculated at approximately $14.3 billion.
Larceny-theft accounted for 70.8 percent of all property crimes reported, burglary for 20.9 percent, and motor vehicle theft for 8.3 percent
Police made an estimated 11,205,833 arrests during 2014—498,666 for violent crimes, and 1,553,980 for property crimes. More than 73 percent of those arrested during 2014 were male.
The highest number of arrests was for drug abuse violations (1,561,231), followed by larceny-theft (1,238,190) and driving under the influence (1,117,852).
The FBI recorded 85,593 rapes in 2010, while the Centers for Disease Control counted nearly 1.3 million incidents in that same year. And that is a five-year old statistic!
In 1976, the statistics of parental kidnapping in USA stood at 60,000.
By 1984, it was between 459,000 to 751,000.
In 2010, US department of Justice reported 200,000 cases of parental kidnapping.
These numbers included both domestic and international abductions.
Now when we start to add-on adults…well it seems kidnapping is a very popular crime in America.
So it depends on how you see it things; crimes by immigrants are not a good thing, they are bad actually.
But when you place those Sharyl Attkisson stats against National numbers for all Americans, they don’t seem to be such large numbers.
That’s the thing with statistics, they are easily skewed or they slant the information in a specific way.
Your piece is about shocking immigration stats, and so the numbers cause an emotional response. People knee-jerk.
But really in comparison to the rest of the country, they really don’t stand up…do they.
Or is it that Americans have the right to rape burn and pillage, because their Americans. And immigrants don’t have that right.
America is largely about white supremacy, it always has been, but never so apparent as lately with all this hate speech against immigration.
414 kidnappings against the US totals for child kidnapping to be 258,115 per/year, seems small…not that few kidnappings is a good thing. 414 kidnappings is bad, not good.
11,3003 rapes and other assaults against 100’s of thousands in America; this stuff goes on an on.
How about 30,000 charges for drunk or drugged driving by immigrants, in comparison to 300,000 for the rest of America…per day. I’ll say that again, 300,000 per…day.
I am not getting your point there Jon, America seems to be a very violent place regardless of immigrant crime.
And since all of us here in North America are immigrants in the last couple hundred years.
I mean we stole this land, we stole it from the Indians.
Strangely though kidnappings have skyrocketed in Mexico this last couple of years, seems it is the crime of choice down there.
Michael, I read your response. Here is what your missing… “Or is it that Americans have the right to rape burn and pillage, because their Americans. And immigrants don’t have that right.” These are your words… News flash… Americans don’t have that right dumb ass… But they are Americans so we have to deal with them… Why the hell would you think we as Americans want to compound those problems with Illegal immigrants doing the same shit?
@ Stevie in a bubble
Since your livin in the land of ‘God Bless America’ and “In God we Trust’
How about “Those without sin cast the first stone” would that work, shit for brains, since we are using obnoxious labels to address each other…hm. How about that Stevie.
America puts the econonmic clamps on Canada and Mexico for the last forty years. And then complains when the arriving destitute commit crime.
Ever heard of negative feed-back Steve. America the last bully has it comin. Look around stevie, the World does not like you as a nation. There are a lot that want to see America fall, big time.
And uou have brought it on yourself.
You are sinners in denial.
You invented the double standard. You made white supremacy in Artform.
You go around shitting on the rest of the world and now complain as the chickens come home to roost.
Not in my backyard, right stevies ol boy…..fak.
Maths are important. The statistics you post here Michael, are for the 300 millions Americans.
The statistics of Sharyl Attkisson are for the 66,500 illegal immigrants
It is interesting to find that Attkisson is pro Trump. No bias here I guess. Objectivity is a bitch. Hard not slant a story. She interviewed five families for her video piece.
Which ones did she choose? The worst…a mix?
It is also interesting to find that Senator Grassley is a Republican. He is also pro Trump, and a supporter of Trump’s.
It is also interesting that Grassley is on the judiciary committee which appoints Supreme court judges. And that he is at lager head with the Obama administration over a new appointment. Since Scalia’s mysterious death.
Of the number of immigrants that cross the US and Mexican border each year, somewhere around 2.5 million, many seek a way out of the desperate poverty created in their home countries by American corporations. And American foreign policy.
Somewhere between 11 and 12 million exist here at any given time.
Why do think jobs move to Mexico, is it because workers are better there, or is because…wages are extemely low, with non existance benefits.
As a matter of fact, fruit and vegetable agriculture would collapse in California, if migrants were halted at the border. Or, would become a hell of lot more expensive.
I digress; the real point of the immigrant releases is that of local law officials; deals made with illegal immigrant criminals to give evidence against other criminals. So they won’t give them up.
But the way it is painted the illegal immigrant is the problem here. Politicians spout of about this, but never get to the root of the real problem.
Which is the law and government, and government agencies.
ICE make compromise with state and local government agencies to get along. So for them to spout off to Grassley that they have to release violent illegal immigrants criminals. They don’t have too they choose to do this, as inter-governmental politics between agencies. Is more important than stopping crime.
Remember now ICE is under Homeland Security, that is a separate and distinct law enforcement agency.
Granted crime is crime, whoever commits it, and violent crime should be punished.
Of course a person who steals an apple because they are hungry and have no money, is he a criminal? I beg to differ, I have been that hungry.
But at the expense of poor people, a politician can’t get away with skewing the facts to suit another purpose. To suit a racist purpose.
“All immigrants are bad.”
Ad hominem logic.
So to those that try to fuck me around with obnoxious comments. Conjecture and vitiol. Educate yourself, the truth is a lot deeper down that particular rabbit hole, you simply care just to stick you head in, and spout off an ignorant slurr, rally behind your candidate.
To get someone elected because he prays on the emotional knee-jerks of racists, the uneducated, the ignorant or those that scorn what they do not understand…yeah that truth isn’t it. We need that guy in office!
Racism is America’s big bad and dirty and deep dark secret. Everybody is a racist, even those that are affected by racism are racists. Each of us dress it up in our own fashion, we make palatable so it doesn’t seem like racism.
Everyone in America was or is an immigrant, or came from immigrants, even the Natives are immigrants, most of them don’t realize the Solutrean were here long before they arrived, over the land bridge and the great migration from Mongolia. Who knows who was here when the Solutreans arrived. And before them.
“A significant factor impacting removal operations has been the number of state and local law enforcement jurisdictions limiting or declining cooperation with ICE. When law enforcement agencies decline to transfer custody of removable convicted criminals and public safety threats to ICE, the agency must expend additional resources to locate and arrest these individuals at-large.” -ICE
“To address this problem, on November 20, 2014, Secretary Johnson announced the creation of the Priority Enforcement Program (PEP) as part of the President’s immigration accountability executive actions. Implemented in July 2015, PEP is designed to be flexible, allowing ICE to tailor the program to fit the needs of each jurisdiction and achieve mutual law enforcement goals. PEP improves the process of transferring those most dangerous from state and local custody by enabling ICE to take custody of priority individuals without damaging trust with local communities.” – ICE
….Does it seem to you that they are enforcing the law, are they improving their methods.
Late on the scene, Jon. Busy!
Great post. I think you are onto something…..
Was it part of the “plan” all along?
Best
OT
Trump is not a racist. He gets along with just about everybody. He loves people. He has a lot of friends from different races.
Trump has a lot of support among legal Muslims, blacks and Hispanics
Check it out!
