Silent campuses of the University of California

~a short story~

“Here are some current ‘microaggressions’ listed by the University of California document, Microaggressions and the Messages They Send. These statements are considered out of bounds, racist, sexist. They shouldn’t be uttered. Yes, these are real: ‘Where are you from?’ ‘Where were you born?’ ‘You speak English very well.’ ‘Wow! How did you become so good at math?’ ‘There is only one race, the human race.’ ‘America is a melting pot.’ ‘I don’t believe in race.’ ‘I believe the most qualified person should get the job.’ Again, students, staff, and professors should not utter these and other such statements. In that case, why not graduate to blanket-surveillance, to monitor every word spoken on campus? Teams of student groups could watch and listen and make rulings and deliver punishments.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)

In the fall of 2039, an incoming freshmanwomanLBGTQ entered the dining hall at the University of California Berkeley Safe Space Consortium, stepped into the lunch line, and asked a server, “Am I permitted to have a glass of water?”

As soon as the student uttered the word “water,” the server staggered, as if hit by a bullet, and fell to the concrete floor, striking her elbow. She lay there for several minutes, gasping, mumbling, and yelling.

Three ambulances arrived, and she was transported to the local Trauma Ward of the SF Social Justice Hospital for Victims of Micro-PTSD.

She was treated for a two-inch bruise and subsequently kept on-site, for three weeks, to undergo counseling and brain repatterning.

The student who had spoken the word “water” was tried before a college court and found guilty of “triggering a catastrophic moment,” in light of the 30-year water shortage in California. He/she was expelled from college and ordered to perform three months of kitchen labor at a local home for “the readjustment of IQ among students of excessive privilege.”

Thereafter, in a joint conference of 600,000 students, professors, staff, and chief administrators of the entire U of California system, held on the premises of the Bohemian Grove Woof-Woof Ritual Center, a vote was cast in favor of making the U of California a “silent teaching space.”

From that moment on, no words would be spoken or written at the U of California, because “any word at any time could provoke a severe adverse event among the vulnerable…”

Committees were assigned to sort out how University courses would be taught.

In an historic midnight compromise, it was determined that “information itself contains an inherently racist and sexist bias, which cannot be corrected, given the current level of technology.”

Therefore, “teaching is an offense to all students.”

Four years of silent contemplation and meditation on the inequities of society would stand in as the replacement.

Students who survived this rigor of silence would be awarded a degree with honors.

In the ensuing decade, 469 students broke the Rule of Omerta, and were taken to Alcatraz and locked in ancient cells. They were periodically waterboarded, to stress the seriousness of their crimes. The punishment was called The Immersion Technique for the Reversal of Speech, under US Federal Mandate 14389-C/F.

We are all familiar with the NY Times bestseller, My Four Years of Enlightenment, written by Debra John Joseph Margaret Ames Ali Schwartz Washington Hernandez Chan. A key passage has been cited in the US Department of Homeland manual, Avoiding Prosecution after a Surveillance Finding:

“Eventually, at Alacatraz, I forgot where I had grown up, who my parents were, and what ambitions I had for the future. All thought was reduced down to a small dot in my mind, an entirely neutral dot that carried no bias or prejudice. It was there. It was a good and proper thing. It could offend no one. It could trigger nothing. When I knew this, I was free. I could shrug off my chains and take my place among friends and comrades.”

The author is now a monk at the U Cal Adjunct Center of Cosmic Reduction. Recognition of the Great Dot is the goal of every student candidate.

exit from the matrix

The Dot signifies a level of achievement no past society or civilization has attained. The intentional or accidental insult to the infinitely vulnerable human consciousness can now be avoided, and thus peace can reign.

The primary sin of the past was proliferation of language. It ushered in massive instability and trauma.

In particular, the heinous poets were the leading-edge forces that shattered the calm. Their provocative innovations and flights of fancy wrought havoc on a wide scale. Such irresponsible outpourings can no longer be tolerated in the Global Village.

Language is on the way out. It has finally been identified as the major obstacle to human progress.

Why exacerbate the already-unequal capacity to learn something that, by its very nature, is the enemy of serene consciousness?

Reduce the public menace.

What we have always wanted is an eternity of quietude. It is now within our grasp.

Ask not for whom the bell tolls. Turn off the bell.

Not funny! Not funny at all. It’s not even close to the truth – it *IS* the truth.
I think I’ll have to stop reading this man’s works altogether.

I’m not a quitter. I beat pancreatic cancer – despite “Them”.
I’ve had a cerebral stroke that totalled my memory. I came back.

(Both of which were iatrogenic – caused by misdiagnosed physical symptoms and treatment which led to my being (mis)treated with synthetic snake venom – HyperonX, many, many years ago.)

But, I think it is time for me to beat a retreat from this reality.
Jon’s story is actually being played out at this instant. It’s just “news”.

I personally suspect that anything from now is too little too late.
The die is cast, the war is lost, time to retreat- not to regroup, but escape/flee to the traditional mountains.
Except that in the ancient continent to which I returned, the mountains, like me, were simply worn down over a long, long time. They are gone.

    Namaste!

Jon Rappoport – Oh, esteemed commentator, “They” have turned it off already.
There is nobody here to preach to – except I – and I am already a convert….

      Thanks for all your efforts!

Seems all these things are made in to a negative rather than a positive. Words are just words, it is the manner or underlying feeling obviously, other wise dictionaries would have red warnings and be locked up for safety reasons.. Trouble causers seeking confusion of the masses, like pests that will not go away, seek to infect others then blame them like tripping someone then convincing them it is there fault. I read for instance that despite ancient drawings of terrible demons that over all demons have seldom even found employment. No one I know has ever seen one and the signed contracts were signed in blood by humans with the demon no where to be seen. Demons have never been known to solicit so apparently could care less themselves. During religious re-organization demons became a big item along with evil doings in general but again have fallen off to now be replaced with psychological disorders or other unseen things that can be imagined in to existence and create great fear and concern yet mysteriously of themselves stay hidden. People need to wake up that these things are within humans and there is not any mysterious word or demon doing anything to you that you do not want of believe is happening.in your mind. I grew up on a farm where there were only male an female people and critters and we learned that sticks and stones can hurt your bones but names don;t really matter. Seems like we are all making a lot of progress but it is time to erase the chalkboard of all the scrap material and get a clean start on the things that are real and do matter. Believe me there are plenty of people around who do know wrong from right and are not about to give up or just accept silly nonsense forever.

If only it would have ended there.

But, when the tyrannical socialist federal government realized the huge success of the U of California, they understood that since “they could offend no one and could trigger nothing”, they decided to extend the system to all States.

Texas was the first State to threaten to secede. And soon, all the rest of the remaining States joined with Texas. The federal government met its Waterloo and had to back down.

Meanwhile, Jon, flew California and took home in Texas. The University of California stood alone. Their state government, who appreciated the quietude of the Silent campus, decided that California would secede from the USA. Not one citizen of CA and not one of the U.S. State objected. So California became the first sovereign State.

Proud of their accomplishment, they wanted to push it a little bit further. They realized that silencing the students wasn’t enough. They had to silence the whole State if they really wanted a permanent quietude for the whole community.

It didn’t take too long before they were able to accomplish that. They created a new law: Mandatory silence for everyone. Not a soul resisted the measure, after all, it was for the better good for the group.

Still, it wasn’t enough. People were offended by the so-called white privilege. Racism was growing at the speed of light. So the government made another law, and graciously handed mandatory color blind glasses to everyone. Peace came back for a while.

But, not for long. People were offended by the rich people wearing suits and fancy clothes, while others were wearing rags. So the useless government, was happy, one more time, to come to the rescue and solve the problem. The law stated that from now on, everybody had to wear a Niqab. Niqabs were handed to everyone free.

That was a big relief for everyone. But it wasn’t perfect, because people could still see luxurious cars running around, while others had old rusty cars, and some had none. That offended them. So the government banned the cars and gave everyone a pair of mandatory roller skates.

Paradise was almost accomplished in California. The last remaining problem was that some people had big houses, some people rented apartment, and some were homeless. That wasn’t a problem for the California government.

They decided to bulldoze all houses and apartment buildings. That created a huge open space, and an unlimited empty park that belongs to all citizens. Every citizen was handed a portable tent… a tent they could move around where ever they wanted to.

And this is how Californians became silent, wearing color blind glasses and Niqabs, and were free to roller skate themselves to their government jobs and to any section of the huge collective park where they wished to plant their tent for that particular day..
