Note to the Hawaii tourism industry: Judge Kurren is not your friend

Is Federal Judge on Hawaii ready to torpedo tourism?

A Judge trying to save Dow and Monsanto and their toxic GMO/pesticide experiments is one thing; but there is a much bigger industry in Hawaii:

Tourism.

I’m sure Judge Barry Kurren and his wife, Faye, know some of the heavy hitters in that billion-dollar business.

Well, look at it this way: If the Judge rules against the people of Maui, who just voted to stop Dow and Monsanto…

And if tourists begin to realize how many Dow/ Monsanto experimental toxic pesticides continue floating around the Islands…

And if they book their vacations elsewhere…

Eyes will turn. Glances will become accusing stares.

“Judge, why did you let Dow and Monsanto keep spraying that crap? For all I know, some of it has drifted on to the grounds of my hotel. It might be in the water. Reservations are down. People are figuring out what’s going on.”

Yes. Those sparkling beaches, waving palms, and sunsets in the travel brochures? What if pesticides are in the sand, in the fronds, in the air?

Not the just the usual poisons, but instead the experimental ones that governments restrict, because they’re extra nasty. The ones Dow and Monsanto have been using day after day after day.

It’s time for the tourism moguls on Hawaii to realize their goose is being cooked, and it doesn’t smell good.

Realize it and do something about it.

Then there is also the construction industry.

A prospective client tells a Maui property manager: “I’m backing out. No sale. I’d rather buy a condo on the dark side of the moon.”

Why would tourists choose Maui, Hawaii for their vacation?

Besides the GMO in milk and foods in this region, it is also irradiated by the Fukushima Plant explosion event .

No way would I ever go there.

    Excerpts:

“Recently, doctors have been finding uranium in the urine of patients coming in for treatment in Hawaii.”

Hawaii; Paradise, or Nuclear Radiation Contamination Zone?

There are a lot of links and videos on this site. Very interesting.

Hawaii is slowly dying, but don’t worry, tourists will still go there because they don’t have a clue of what is going on out there.

This is why we have to spread the truth about Hawaii.

Great points! Thank you for all your excellent reporting on this issue.

It’s tricky for attorneys to bring a motion to recuse, especially if they are local. Judges are supposed to recuse themselves if they have a conflict, so it is a challenge. If it doesn’t go your way, you’re stuck in front of a judge you have challenged. And either way, you are likely to find yourself arguing other cases before that judge in the future.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Kurren’s wife stepped down from the Nature Conservancy after backdoor discussions, to avoid a blatant appearance of conflict for her husband. It’s all about appearances, but of course they all still lunch at the same club.

Yea, the dark side of the moon would be much healthier, although the air might be a little thin

Thank-you for addressing this very important issue. We need more people to write letters and contact our tourist authorities ( Mayors office, Maui County Council members, ILWA-Hotel Union re: what will happen if the GMO Initiative is not allowed to go through. It will come down to Tourism vs. the Biotech companies here. We need all the help we can get from people all over the world who love Maui and want to help us.

Thanks Jon again, from Kauai. We appreciate you giving national attention to this important matter. We need to break the back of these statists who are trying to consolidate power and marginalize the citizens. It is a critical time for the future of our islands, as the fascist curtain is falling into place. If people don’t see what’s happening, the future of this wonderful place is in peril.

  7. brusplace says:

This is a battle that can be won by the people. Worldwide attention will be focused on this small island in the middle of the ocean. And the more money these poison pushers throw at it, the more attention it will get.
This is a whole different scenario than the labeling battle, because the people of Maui will not cave to brainwashing TV ads and so on. This is their back yard that is being poisoned and the effects of this campaign are obvious to them.
Slick TV ads and other propaganda will only show further how underhanded these massive enterprises really are.

  8. engelsfrance says:

Lots of Islands are “working politically “that way…..they are forgotten pieces of land….where almost everything is permitted….and almost everything is hidden….pollution…in the air….the plants….the water…..and the killing diseases rates…..tourism is not even close to raise as much money as chemical industries, mines…..are offering them…..no way to change that….

  9. brusplace says:

We can’t let this go away. These plunderers work 24/7 on their agenda.

This is not just a Maui/Islands issue, this has world wide implications.

Humanity must pull its head out of the sand and take a stand against these forces. The 11th hour has arrived.
