Shocker: Comparing deaths from medical drugs, vitamins, all US wars
by Jon Rappoport

People want to believe medical science gives us, at any given moment, the best of all possible worlds.
And of course, the best of all possible worlds must have its enemies: the quacks who sell unproven snake oil.
So let’s look at some facts.
As I’ve been documenting for years, the medical cartel has been engaged in massive criminal fraud, presenting their drugs as safe and effective across the board—when, in fact, these drugs have been killing and maiming huge numbers of people, like clockwork.
I’ve cited the review, “Is US Health Really the Best in the World?”, by Dr. Barbara Starfied (Journal of the American Medical Association, July 26, 2000), in which Starfield reveals the American medical system kills 225,000 people per year—106,000 as a direct result of pharmaceutical drugs.
I’ve now found another study, published in the same Journal, two years earlier: April 15, 1998; “Incidence of Adverse Drug Reactions in Hospitalized Patients.” It, too, is mind-boggling.
The authors, led by Jason Lazarou, culled 39 previous studies on patients in hospitals. These patients, who received drugs in hospitals, or were admitted to hospitals because they were suffering from the drugs doctors had given them, met the following fate:
Every year, in the US, between 76,000 and 137,000 hospitalized patients die as a direct result of the drugs.
Beyond that, every year 2.2 million hospitalized patients experience serious adverse reactions to the drugs.
The authors write: “…Our study on ADRs [Adverse Drug Reactions], which excludes medication errors, had a different objective: to show that there are a large number of ADRs even when the drugs are properly prescribed and and administered.”
So this study had nothing to do with doctor errors, nurse errors, or improper combining of drugs. And it only counted people killed who were admitted to hospitals. It didn’t begin to tally all the people taking pharmaceuticals who died as consequence of the drugs, without being admitted to hospitals.
I found the link to this study at the Dr. Rath Health Foundation, in the middle of a very interesting article by Dr. Aleksandra Niedzwiecki: “Commentary on the Safety of Vitamins.”
Here are two key quotes from her article:
“In 2010, not one single person [in the US] died as a result of taking vitamins (Bronstein, et al, (2011) Clinical Toxical, 49 (10), 910-941).”
“In 2004, the deaths of 3 people [in the US] were attributed to the intake of vitamins. Of these, 2 persons were said to have died as a result of megadoses of vitamins D and E, and one person as a result of an overdose of iron and fluoride. Data from: ‘Toxic Exposure Surveillance System 2004, Annual Report, Am. Assoc. of Poison Control Centers.’”
Summing up:
No deaths from vitamins (2010), and three deaths (2004) from vitamins/iron/fluoride.
106,000 deaths every year from pharmaceutical drugs (Starfield).
Between 76,000 and 137,000 deaths from pharmaceutical drugs every year in hospitalized patients (Lazerou).
The FDA and its “quack-buster” allies go after vitamins, demean “unproven remedies,” and generally take every possible opportunity to warn people about “alternatives,” on the basis that they aren’t scientifically supported.
Meanwhile, the very drugs these mobsters are promoting, and certifying as safe and effective, are killing and maiming people at a staggering rate.
The masses are treated to non-stop PR on the glories of the US medical system.
In the Wikipedia entry, “US military casualties of war,” the grand total of all military deaths in the history of this country, starting with the Revolutionary War, is 1,312,612.
In any given 10 years of modern medical treatment? 2,250,000 deaths (Starfield).
Consider how much suppression is necessary to keep the latter number under wraps.

The suppression of the Raymond Royal Rife technology decades ago, which cured 100% of even the most serious cancer cases and many other lethal diseases, has condemned hundreds of millions so far to die agonizing deaths from fake medicine including torture by chemo amd radio.
When we consider that the 7 billion world population of today is predicted by the UN to suffer 50% cancer rate (and chemo has a 2% survival rate, usually for no more than 5 years, at which time the cancer returns from the effects of the chemo and radio and kills you anyway in unspeakable torture), the suppression of Raymond Royal Rife technology will come to kill 3.5 billion plus all those hundreds of millions that will de from pathogenic diseases that his devices could also have cured.
Modern ‘medicine’ is very sadly often about the political power to be able to kill whatever target population that it is intended to remove, simply by witholding actually available cures for many diseases.
Raymond Royal Rife was publicly acknowledged as the man who had invented the cure for all diseases, but some doctors who used his machines were murdered, their labs were burned, and those who had publicly endorsed his work previously suddenly denied ever having known him or his work, through total fear, or huge bribes.
Actually,
Nature was the first to invent a “cure for cancer”. Mankind flourished from Natural Medicine for uncountable thousands of years. – It’s called good nutrition.
” Let Thy Food be Thy Medicine, and Thy Medicine be Thy Food. ”
– Hippocrates, the Father of Modern Medicine.

I agree; before mankind started going crazy with excessive and unneccessarily polluting industry, poisonous chemical farming methods, excessive technology, destroying every ecosystem there is, thinking that someone is going to clean it up after them, or thinking that dropping diluted atomic waste in the oceans is something that no one, including the fish, is going to really notice, then we had a viable and stable ecosystem.
But people are just burning it all up like there is no tomorrow, with their fake beliefs in a new heaven and a new Earth about to be delivered to them any time soon to make it all right, but it isn’t going to happen, and we are all going to be stuck with the mess, and die slowly with it if they continue doing the madness that they are doing today.
And people really believe a new Earth is coming, so they really don’t care, with many millions actually praying for a nuclear Armageddon to happen as soon as possible, so that plastic Jesus can come and save the ‘righteous’. They have gone quite mad, but which politician has the courage to tell them? Not one of them where most of the damage is being done.
Today’s politicians in most of the world could not organize a piss-up in a brewery, they are only concerned with getting voted in for the rush of power that they feel.
At least cannabis, recognized as one of nature’s great healers in both Chinese and Ayurveda still, is still used in medicine in India and China where such medicine is not illegal.
If people want properly nutritious food, that contains microminerals such as praseodymium, neodymium, lanthanum, samarium etc., that is demonstrated to double the lifespans of animals eating food grown on properly remineralized soil containing the normal amounts of those minerals, then humans must drop GMO, drop all chemicals from agriculture, drop the use of artifically produced seeds created by the use of X-rays, Gamma rays, and mutagenic chemicals, return to truly organic seed stock, and just use basalt rock dust that is the ONLY source of these minerals (together with a little compost of course), to return the soil back to it’s original condition so that it can once again properly support life, and people can then realistically expect to get full nutrition that is actually suitable to maintain health from a vegetarian diet.
There has been a agenda of global depopulation going on for more than a century. Politicians are, for the most part, nothing but figureheads carrying out that agenda.
Research eugenics and it becomes obvious that the current nature of medicine, food, agriculture, etc is no accident. This may seem ‘incredible’, but just do the research. The ruthless psychopath control freaks that end up in charge, see most of humanity as being made up of ‘useless eaters’ – – – They want us gone. Applying logic & reasoned argument with them on these individual issues is like trying to convince Ted Bundy not to murder.
What used to work well, was rototilling the “left-overs” back into the soils in the Fall. This was done for many thousands of years. This being the reason some cultures were able to use the land for many, many centuries.
As for the specific metallic minerals you mentioned, those are “rare-earths” and usually radioactive. In very trace amounts, they would be inconsequential. In greater amounts, they could be disastrous.
Our main depletion problems seem to more of Manganese, Magnesium, Arsenic (non-metallic), Selenium, and – of course – Calcium, Potassium, and Iodine (another non-metallic). These are probably among the most important minerals that are severely lacking in our diets. – All because of the “modern farming practices” that have been pushed by the big chemical companies.
So your point is quite valid, and very much backed up by example and history. Rock dust is one very effective way to “feed” the soils. If you do not feed the soils to feed the crops, then how are the crops supposed to feed us? – THAT is the question that very few understand, let alone ask.
>;=))====
The elements I mentioned are the ones that were specifically found to produce the doubling of lifespan in animals, so I do not think that they are dangerous in the slightest, besides, every basalt rock deposit is examined thoroughly before being selected for use.
Igneus rock dust with good mineral content suitable for plant crops is where ALL soil originally comes from in the first place, and since mankind took these minerals from the soil without ever putting them back, in opposition to nature’s way, flushing sewage (that is too contaminated anyway due to man’s silliness), our food is increasingly not fit for purpose.
For instance, Mike Adams reported that an apple today in the US has only 3% of the mineral content of one grown in 1916. Brazil has just opted to remineralize with rock dust, it is the ONLY way not just one way, unless you want to take minerals from the sea with all the industrial sewage and radioactive contamination from nuclear powerplant discharge, and leaking containers of WWI and WWII chemical weapons and DU test weapon fallout dust embedded in it.
All sardines are now extinct in the Pacific since Fukushima, and many other species are not too happy there either, with massive die-off rates never seen before, and the Gulf of Mexico is heavily polluted with mutagenic Corexit, with fish being born blind and with other deformities, not the best stuff for fertilizer either anymore.
Soils remineralized with basalt rock dust double and even quadruple crop weight in some instances, and make the crops very resistant to pests, disease, and thus completely make the false concept of GMO completely unneccessary. See Mothman777’s Blog – ‘Basalt And Other Rock Dusts, How To Totally Remineralize Your Soil – with a refutation of the University of Glasgow 2009 PhD thesis on rockdust and composted materials – revised 19th January 2012’

This is not news to me.
I already am very keenly aware of the environmental degradation that has gone on (especially thanks to industrial greed), and its further possible consequences.
I am also aware of the idea of rock dust being the more natural means of re-mineralizing the soils. – I see no argument here! – You are preaching to the choir here. I have been watching these events (contrived and otherwise) for many years.
An old friend of mine made a very wise observation when we were having a conversation one day. He stated that there IS a big difference between “soil” and “dirt”. “Soil” can support life, while “dirt” does not. – This I can fully understand enough to agree without reservation. “Soil” is a living community of various microbes, fungi, and whatever other “micro-life” is involved in its formation. Due to the excessive use of petro-chemical-based “fertilizers”, herbicides, pesticides, and all other forms unnatural substances, much of the farmland, today, has been reduced to almost-sterile “Dirt”.
So then, the question further evolves around, “Whether the soils micro-community can be restored to its proper balance?” Some of the soil minerals are worthless without having the necessary microbes to help in their assimilation.
So now we have at least TWO problems to consider when talking about the environmental degradation.
In answer to Rev Dragon’s Eye (April 1, 1.41 pm);
Yes I know about the value of microbes in soil. The point is, when you have natural soil, you then get natural microbes. Why wouldn’t they be there when you stop putting chemicals in the ground and start just using rock dust? When you use basalt rock dust, you definitely don’t need chemicals of any sort any more on your land, and everything works just as it always has, just as intelligent nature intended.

I am not sure plants will really like being forced like this, but Indian farmers already boost crops by 40% by applying a weak electric current through their growing soil.

Can you imagine, (what must be), the orgasmic joy of the corporations as they write legislation, hand it to their “pocket politicians”, order them off their knees to go vote it into law and all the while they rule over 312 million members of the sorriest bunch of spineless/arrogantly ignorant delusionals that ever stepped in dogsh*t?

Hi!
Just listen to the tv ads regarding law firms soliciting people (injured ones) who have been harmed by drugs or medical devices.
Thank you!

However,
There IS something to be said about the mass of problems in our medical system, today.

how does vita E and D kill you? I have been megadosing on vita D and getting A and E from palm oil, and my symptoms of metabolic syndrome, is getting better I have not felt so well before (still having problems but there is vast improvement) I spent years feeling like crap, not able to get a handle on my fatigue, constant sinus infection, broncitis, and other problems, poor exercise performance my asthma induced by exercise and my stomach, not to mention a ravenous appetite keeping me very fat. sleeping is improving, still needs improvement but much better than it has been in years. I heard you have to take vita A and E and K when taking D, so I have really been changing my diet dramatically the past couple of years too. oh yea my doctors are always fighting with me to take my hypertension meds and lose weight (as if I have not spent a half of my full lifespan trying to do just that.) I spent so much time going to doctos for sinu infections for the past 15 years or so, had bronchitis several times, my stomach gives me problems, (could you have a low grade ulcer and not know it or some other infection in the stomach?) just the other day I was thinking what makes vitamins and minerals so dangerous we have to be warned against them? their not dangerous to us they are dangerous to theprofits of the doctors drug companies and medical researchers too.
Palm oil is one of the worst oils you could put in your system. The monoculture of palm oil is devastating to the environment. It is a GMO, and Gmo’s especially those that utilize Round-up lock up vitamins like A,D and calcium and potassium amongst other nutrients in the dietary tract.
it is being cited as destructive to the heart.
Palmitic Acid is used in the production of Napalm.
“After milling, various palm oil products are made using refining processes. First is fractionation, with crystallization and separation processes to obtain solid (stearin), and liquid (olein) fractions.[38] Then melting and degumming removes impurities. Then the oil is filtered and bleached. Physical refining[clarification needed] removes smells and coloration to produce “refined, bleached and deodorized palm oil” (RBDPO) and free sheer fatty acids,[clarification needed] which are used in the manufacture of soaps, washing powder and other products. RBDPO is the basic palm oil product sold on the world’s commodity markets. Many companies fractionate it further to produce palm olein for cooking oil, or process it into other products.[38]”
I also use large amounts of Vit D3, but this can lead to deposits of calcium in arteries where it is not wanted, unless you adjust your diet to include sources of Vit K2, which causes the calcium to only be deposited where it is supposed to be.

Four months ago, I was bullied into to taking Lisinopril as the practitioner I was seeing insisted that I have high blood pressure, even getting in my face so to speak when taking my bp, making it rise. I have “white coat” syndrome. It gets high when I get near a medical professional. Even though the professional refused to take into account what my blood pressure monitors said, I wanted to give the person a chance, so stupidly took it without knowing the side effects. I developed this cough without a fever or aches and pains. It was all day and all night long. I couldn’t sleep. After two weeks of this, I decided to look up lisinopril to see if it could have these side effects. It did. Further, it is not to be given to people whose kidneys are failing as it destroys them or to patients who have an autoimmune disorder. I have both. The medical professional knew I had these conditions. Lisinopril also causes a cough. Plus, my blood pressure rose higher after taking lisinopril. It did not make it drop for which it is given. And, the over the counter cough suppressants only quelled the cough for about an hour, no matter how strong. They also made my blood pressure rise further. Only two reasons I was given lisinopril: the professional was either incompetent or intended to do this. I didn’t go back. Doctors don’t seem to bother reading the inserts, AND, after Bush Jr’s Executive Order, mandating that doctors no longer need to do this and drug companies don’t have to notify patients in the inserts for their drugs, medical professionals have gotten lazier and even less concerned with what these inorganic drugs, that make livers toxic, do to patients. But, then patients will have to return for more “lifesaving” visits, won’t they?.
Only after I was able to obtain an FDA banned herb that dries up mucus in lungs and bronchi to stop coughs, did the cough stop. The herb did not raise my blood pressure or have any other adverse effects. For decades the FDA has been banning every herb it can on flimsy evidence that it is harmful. Yet, drugs like this are left on the market. Yes, herbs need to be regulated to make sure they give the outcome they are intended and the potency is correct, but banning them is only allowing people to be killed by those in big Pharma and in government who allow big Pharma to own the FDA..
You got off lucky with lisinopril. I just got my mom off it after she’d taken it for about 10 years. During that time she’d had repeated episodes of intense intestinal pain that required emergency room visits. It’s a known side effect that it can cause intestinal swelling as part of an allergic reaction to the medicine (or something to that effect). No doctor ever even suggested switching blood pressure meds and I had no idea what she was taking so didn’t know what to research. She feels a thousand times better off the stuff and her blood pressure, at the highest, is 160/90. Doctors are killing with impunity but they warn you’ll kill yourself if you take an herbal remedy. Evil.
I’m so sorry to read about your mother. The AMA is a cancer to the once honorable medical profession. I once worked computing sales commissions for a medical manufacturing company and know first hand that doctors get perks for prescribing. I’ve heard that some doctors even brag about all the goodies they get, not thinking or caring that they are hurting patients, but getting something for writing unnecessary prescriptions. The person who prescribed the lisinopril told me that it is now illegal to do this. I’d be interested to know for how long that has been so, if it really is. For 10 years I was treated by an herbal doctor who’d studied medicine, but went into really curing patients with herbs. He made little money for the herbs he created, not just because he charged reasonable prices (and sometimes refused to take compensation for his herbs), but because they cured, not hid, conditions. He is no longer on this earth, but revered by all who went to him. Greed has infected this country or planet because not only the medical profession that should be sacred, but everywhere we look. Greed infects those who are supposed to be the best of us who call the shots. We need to stop calling these corrupt people, The Government, it is not omnipotent, people make up the government for good or ill. All the best to your mother and you.

I guess I was very lucky!
I had an adverse reaction to the Azythromycin (sic?) that prescribed to me a few years ago for a severe Strep Throat infection. The lower part of my esophagus hurt so much for a week or more, that I hiccuped a lot. Every time I coughed, due to the still-irritated throat, this would cause me to hiccup which resulted in severe “heart-burn”. I was absolutely miserable for a good two weeks.
The other reaction I had, was when I was prescribed Penicillin VK for a different infection. The first time I was prescribed it, about two or three years prior, I had no reactions. The second time I was prescribed it, I felt like I had hives all over me. I was constantly feeling that burning-ichiness as if I was being attacked by fire ants. (I am all too personally-familiar with fire ants!)
It really says something when I tried telling my physician this, he was very dismissive and unbelieving. I was exact in describing my symptoms and the unusually-close timing of the appearance of these symptoms to the taking of these prescribed antibiotics.
Ever since the incident with “Zithro”, my esophagus has never felt the same, and it feels like there is a small lump near my stomach.
So, this news is nothing new to me, but it STILL needs to be said, publicly, “LOUD-AND-CLEAR”.
Thank you for another fine read!

I’ve had to be a patient from the age of 12, because of a disease that tore up my body. So i’ve watched the, “Practice” of medicine since 1975. And boy have things changed..,. and not for the better! I know Medicine is changing all the time but, from 1975 to 1985, the changes were, for the better.,. Then in the 1990’s, when Big Insurance companies starting running medicine, & doctors into the ground, I, as a Patient, noticed the hospital death rates sky rocketing..As a inpatient, I use to hear, “Code Blues”, once or twice a week. Now they happen on a daily basis, & more then once. This article is right on the money… “medical drugs, VS. vitamins.. is just the tip of the iceberg. Drug companies usually own stock in Insurance companies, & if there’s, “No conflict of interest”.. my name is Walter Cronkite (I sure miss that guys news reports..lol). Bottom line.. Medicine today in the USA is sub standard… They’ve stopped with Preventative Medicine because with that, they lose money. Now they wait for that growth on your arm, or the growth seen with a mammogram.. until it turns into cancer. They say its because, “its cheaper to treat cancer then to remove the tumor” … they are full of crap..

Hi!
Read Dr John H. Tilden’s (1851-1940) book “Toxemia Explained” (originally written in 1926), and he says to remove the “cause” of the disease and the body will return to normal (no cure per se).
I just got the book (reprint) and read it twice so far. It’s a great book.
He wrote other books, too, and they are just as good.
Thank you!

What is the point in having health insurance? I am sure all the medical mistakes and properly prescribed drug deaths are not reported. Why would they? Who’s going to monitor them?

In a remote old inn in a remote rural area of the country a few nights ago, I met a 92 year old man who had NEVER consulted a doctor. No antibiotics, no drugs of any sort, all ailments treated with herbal and home remedies, he was relatively spry and quick-witted and obviously very healthy. And obviously he’d been blessed with ‘good genes’. But then he lives in a remote farming area where excellent, fresh and whole food is abundant straight from the fields, milking shed and dairy. Even as a child, my country-folk parents treated us children with old-fashioned herbal and home remedies – and lots of good food. Believe it or not, I was 15 years old before I discovered that there was such a thing as aspirin. I was in my 20s before I took my first paracetomol (ie. Tylenol).
In our world today it seems utterly beyond comprehension that we can live our whole lives without contact with doctors. The rise of doctoring, with its intrusive – even destructive – interest in our lives has come about in the UK since 1948 and the advent of the NHS. As a poster pointed out here, in the US doctoring has ramped up considerably since the appearance of the insurance companies during the late 1970s and 1980s.
In other words, the medico-pharmaceutical industry has encouraged rampant dependence. Just look at all the daily media cautionary articles about this disease, that ailment, this new test or other that you absolutely must have. It’s bred a couple of generations of people who are brainwashed into consulting doctors at every twinge or ache. No wonder the industry is complaining of lack of money – they’ve created this situation.
I confess, the other day I went to see a general physician: I hadn’t seen a medic in several years but, spurred on by regular alarmist press pieces about skin cancer, I wanted the all-clear on a growing/bleeding/shape-changing mole that I’d done my best to ignore for years. I got the all-clear, it’s only something that comes with age, they can ‘shave’ it off if I want. The mole information the uncommonly pleasant GP offered was startling: only one in 2 million moles they see is malignant.
One in 2 million! So why all the alarmist press so regularly? It seems to me to be no more than fear-mongering and market-creation on behalf of the medical industry: an unhealthy dependence which the doctoring industry has manipulated into a vast, all-pervasive and profoundly unhealthy co-dependence.
This co-dependence reaches far beyond purely medical matters. Nowadays, one needs a doctor’s imprimatur on everything from disability parking permits to sick notes to passports to job applications to access to housing and schooling and so on ad nauseum. Indeed, by stealth the medical industry – especially in the UK with its nanny-state, all pervasive NHS – has become another, very powerful tool of state control where GPs are neo-feudal Lords of the Manor.
I’d venture to suggest that nowadays lawyers are not the bane of society – they just capitalise on the mistakes perpetrated by the root causes. Instead, I’d say that doctors and their pals in Big Pharma are the real evil wolves in sheep’s clothing. Especially in a socialised medicine system where there are few or no checks and balances on medical hyperbole, excesses and errors or in a medical industry driven intensely by profit-hungry global insurance companies.
Far from being a ‘compensation culture’, the number of cases that actually make it to court is miniscule in comparison to the incidence of medical negligence and abuse events. I can guarantee that in the UK, EVERYONE has some awful story of NHS/doctor horrors, the vast majority of which occurs with complete impunity (including the routine patronising and callous dismissiveness often inflicted on seriously ill people). Thus I would fight tooth and nail to maintain a patient’s recourse to law. There should be more – not less – litigation: sadly, it seems to be the only way this monolithic and too often destructive industry is able to recognise something of the very sickly beam in their eyes.
More than a suggestion is my conviction that the 92 year old gentleman has achieved healthy longevity entirely because he’s managed to avoid entanglement with this increasingly pernicious industry.
