Our Special today is corn chowder with Agent Orange

Remember Agent Orange? The US Army sprayed it all over Vietnam. It defoliated (destroyed) plant growth and brought on cancers and birth defects.

One of its significant ingredients was a chemical called 2.4-D.

Well, the US Dept. of Agriculture has cleared the way for brand new Dow GMO corn and soy crops. They are engineered to withstand spraying with 2,4-D.

The theory is, the corn and soy will survive, but pesky weeds will die.

Of course, the drifting spray of 2,4-D will kill all sorts of other plants, including fruit trees.

And there is that species called Human. Have a little lymphoma with your corn chowder.

Here are several quotes from Senior Scientist, Doug Gurian-Sherman, who writes for the Union of Concerned Scientists at their Equation blog:

On Friday, January 3, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) released a draft environmental impact statement (EIS) under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). This clears the way for approval of engineered soybeans and corn resistant to the herbicide 2,4-D, pending a final EIS and pesticide tolerances from EPA.”

2.4-D has also been associated with human health risks, such as non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and is considered by some health agencies to be a possible human carcinogen.”

The herbicide [2,4-D] is also notorious for causing severe damage to many fruit and vegetable crops from drift after spray application.”

Argentina has already approved Dow’s GM soy that is “resistant” to 2,4-D.

Think about it. Corn and soy have been grown for centuries. They’ve survived. But now, big companies like Dow and Monsanto genetically modify the crops, so they can withstand a highly toxic chemical—in order to kill weeds in the growing fields.

Killing weeds vs. chemical warfare.

The USDA sees no reason to stop this. The Dept. of Justice sees no reason to intervene.

Nothing illegal about poisoning people, as long as you call it a magnificent technological breakthrough in agriculture.

Ah yes! Now we get to the gist of it…they are not spraying weeds…they are spraying humans. This is an extermination.

“In 1954, Monsanto partnered with German chemical giant Bayer to form Mobay and market polyurethanes in the United States.” -Wiki

This was because Bayer was banned from doing business in the United States because of their WWI war crimes (Mustard gas)…they (Bayer) were owned by I. G. Farben the infamous Zyclon B manufacturer (German Gas chambers).
Monsanto learned a lot from Bayer, on the business of extermination.
So anyone who would sleep with a war criminal….

BTW Monsanto owns G. D. Searle & Company, Pharmaceuticals.
Amongst others! They also own Climate Corp. Which Monsanto wanted desperately… they have big dreams for Climate Corp to get into the Geoengineering business…big money. I mean really really big money.
And also to have a grand slam…they will own the seeds, the climate and through their pharmaceuticals, the antedote.

Wouldn’t be surprised to hear them get into the water business.

Well…that an a grand slam. The seeds, the weather, and the antedote

To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world’s more full of weeping than you can understand.”

Thanks Jon, haven’t left a comment in a while to show my appreciation for all you do. I’ve known
many people alive and gone that have been subjected to the effects of agent orange, white and
blue. (For those of you not knowing there were others) It’s hard at times to see such great people
who were lied to have to deal with the side effects.

Jon –   Thank you so much for this post.  I had no idea about this.  I was exposed to Agent Orange in KOREA in 1968-69 and have had Multiple Myeloma (MM), an incurable bone marrow/blood disease that causes excruciating bone pain constantly.  I have been on chemo since diagnosed 12 years ago.  I am rated 100% service-connected disabled due to recognized exposure to Agent Orange.  I wanted you to know what the NIH has reported in regard to diseases associated with exposure to Agent Orange.  Congress has ordered updates to this investigation every two years, and just recently added Ischemic heart disease to the list.  When you spell out all of the “soft tissue sarcomas” – the next to the last bullet point on the list below, the list of conditions increases to over FORTY!   This compound is considered to be THE most deadly compound on the planet.  What can I and others do to stop this absolutely insane move by Dow, Monsanto and our government from becoming a nightmarish reality for the rest of the world?  At least with us veterans, it was limited to certain countries (Vietnam and much later, DOD admitted to spraying it in Korea too).  Putting this into our nation’s food supply WILL result in a man-made halocost that can be prevented by getting the word out and calling and faxing and emailing congress and the President about this – and right away.  It sounds like this is about to go “live”?  We just cannot let this happen!   Please look into this even further and advise us as to the most effective move(s) we can make.   Bless you for exposing this,   Tom Courbat Murrieta, CA 92562 […]   Veterans’ Diseases Associated with Agent Orange   VA assumes that certain diseases can be related to a Veteran’s qualifying military service. We call these “presumptive diseases.” VA has recognized certain cancers and other health problems as presumptive diseases associated with exposure to Agent Orange or other herbicides during military service. Veterans and their survivors may be eligible for benefits for these diseases.

AL Amyloidosis – A rare disease caused when an abnormal protein, amyloid, enters tissues or organs Chronic B-cell Leukemias – A type of cancer which affects white blood cells Chloracne (or similar acneform disease)  – A skin condition that occurs soon after exposure to chemicals and looks like common forms of acne seen in teenagers. Under VA’s rating regulations, it must be at least 10 percent disabling within one year of exposure to herbicides. Diabetes Mellitus Type 2  – A disease characterized by high blood sugar levels resulting from the body’s inability to respond properly to the hormone insulin Hodgkin’s Disease  – A malignant lymphoma (cancer) characterized by progressive enlargement of the lymph nodes, liver, and spleen, and by progressive anemia Ischemic Heart Disease  – A disease characterized by a reduced supply of blood to the heart, that leads to chest pain Multiple Myeloma – A cancer of plasma cells, a type of white blood cell in bone marrow Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma  – A group of cancers that affect the lymph glands and other lymphatic tissue Parkinson’s Disease  – A progressive disorder of the nervous system that affects muscle movement Peripheral Neuropathy, Early-Onset  – A nervous system condition that causes numbness, tingling, and motor weakness. Under VA’s rating regulations, it must be at least 10 percent disabling within one year of herbicide exposure. Porphyria Cutanea Tarda  – A disorder characterized by liver dysfunction and by thinning and blistering of the skin in sun-exposed areas. Under VA’s rating regulations, it must be at least 10 percent disabling within one year of exposure to herbicides. Prostate Cancer – Cancer of the prostate; one of the most common cancers among men Respiratory Cancers (includes lung cancer) Cancers of the lung, larynx, trachea, and bronchus Soft Tissue Sarcomas (other than osteosarcoma, chondrosarcoma, Kaposi’s sarcoma, or mesothelioma) – A group of different types of cancers in body tissues such as muscle, fat, blood and lymph vessels, and connective tissues – Children with birth defects – VA presumes certain birth defects in children of Vietnam and Korea Veterans are associated with Veterans’ qualifying military service. – See more at: http://www.publichealth.va.gov/exposures/agentorange/conditions/index.asp#sthash.hGC3KpOW.dpuf Please don’t let this happen to our whole population.  We veterans have suffered enough – we just can’t let the general population be exposed to this!

  6. Agent Orange Dioxins has affected many DMZ Veterans well past the B.S. presumptive dates of 68 to 71.

Many of us who served on the DMZ in Korea through the 70s up to early 90s, are now having Agent Orange/Dioxin related illnesses! But since we are a fairly small collective, no one gives a damn to listen!

Government admits using A.O. in Korea and admits it resides in the ground/dirt for decades. But won’t admit us Troops were rolling around and digging in Dioxin affected dirt. Plus no clean up efforts have ever been made on the DMZ!

    Agent Orange DMZ Veteran,

    Tom
