The trick behind occult systems
by Jon Rappoport

It should be obvious to readers who’ve been with me for a while that I attack delusion in more than one place. Political systems, medical systems…and so-called spiritual systems.
That’s because I happen to believe in legitimate limited government, healing, and the unbounded life of the individual spiritual being.
Occult systems, which propose they have a hidden secret at the core, which will be revealed after a long and exhaustive search, are, at best, deluded, because they are concealing CONTENT.
By content, I mean information, knowledge, pattern, some facet of what already exists. This is a dead-end.
There is nothing wrong with truthful information. But….
Suppose we had a secret society called The Inner Core Flame X42. And we sold our members on the idea that, after a series of ascending initiations, they would arrive at the X, the secret of secrets.
Well, what could X be? Some nugget of information, some formula or phrase or fact or made-up fact about existence that is supposed to solve problems and enlighten consciousness.
But consciousness is dynamic. It isn’t a key looking for a lock.
Consciousness is dynamic because it creates. It creates new realities.
It isn’t primarily a container for What Is, for what already exists.
If there is a secret about consciousness, that’s it. IT CREATES.
So no matter what X we cooked up, it would become obsolete, of minor value.
Humans are ripe for buying an X because they are trained, and train themselves, to place the highest value on What Already Exists.
That’s mind control par excellence.
Occult systems deliver what controlled minds expect, and that’s why they’ve flourished. That’s the only reason why.

Thank you for posting this! Exactly! Giving your power away to controllers who claim insider info just leaves you a slave. This is one of the good reasons why the plastic shamans who pirate Native cultures for fun and profit are wrong on all levels. They demean and dehumanize our people and they are gaining control over sincere spiritual seekers as well as taking their money for nothing. (selling lies and distortions iz theft as no one would buy that knowingly!)
You mean like the group I am having to fight with now???
This is why some of us left the “church” a long time ago. Systems of control, be they political, economic, social, AND especially RELIGIOUS systems, are all about secrecy and “forbidden knowledge”. The definition of occult fits right in with their grand scheme. (Occult: Hidden from view, secret, disclosed only to a select few)
The use and term of “occult” is not in any way limited to “spirituality” or “religion”, by the way. It is VERY commonly used in political systems and economic systems, these days. The world’s long history is full of hidden things which most of the people do not even know exist, let alone are privy to.
As to many of the “enlightenment movements” out there,
I tried one or two membership in these organizations, to get a “feel” on what they were about. As is the usual meme, the more money you can pay, the “more” you will receive from their “enlightened masters”. That’s the new repackaging of “spirituality for sale”, as TIME magazine once put it. YES, the world does need a change in thinking, but it must occur with the guidance of an impartial, loving, gentle hand that does not care if the intended recipient is considered “worthy” or not.
Some of the biggest secrets I will give right here and now:
Your body does not define who and what you are. Your inner-being does!
Your existence is not dependent on how much you accumulate in this material world, they are simply your “trophies” and nothing more.
If your basic needs for survival are met because the supplies for those needs are not constrained, then you have everything you NEED.
In a truly free society, You, alone, determine the direction of your life and what you will do with it.
In a free society, You, alone, discover your own inner beauty without the need for someone else’s “blessings”. – Be Blessed yourself, because of yourself.
You, alone, have the power to change, to grow, to evolve, and to BE.
* * *
The list can get very long very quickly, but I think most will “catch my drift” with what has been stated. These “spirituality for sale” groups are simply preying on the weak of mind, and upon the most desperate in needs. These are troubling times. However, each and every one of us CAN make a difference by simply just Being the best we can be. No money required, and no devotion toward anything except whatever principles guide you!
Be Blessed Always, and Much!
A box, in a box, in a box, in a box. Meanwhile, they become puppets of their own aspirations, their fantasies and the people who hold the “greatest of secrets”.
Good work. Keep it up.
Everything begins with God. Any intelligence that can’t imagine the possibility of “a God,” or
“THE GOD,” imagination that it has not the right to call itself any kind of higher Intelligence, itself, because this is such a spiritually bankrupt statement, it is of no value. I am thinking seriously of announcing, I am God and nobody else is. but what could it possibly mean to me? I need meaning or I don’t nudge or budge. Thus, “everybody” can relax and know that I am not going to blow everything up. Ha, ha, ha. There is no “everybody.” It’s all meeeeeeeeeee, freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee in the sea, thriving into BE.

I guess Jon doesn’t think very highly of Scientology. Maybe the “X” will show Tom Cruise how to act ……Other than that I am not yet un-plugged enough to comment on any of Jon’s writing, I am just happy to be able to read on.
